Good morning. Good morning. I'm worried my English may not be like your brother. So I don't know, but God will help us. I understand. I'm Eliud Suli, by name. Set in 1982, the ruler of the American missionary. This man had come to visit my neighbor. And when they were talking, I was in my queue, and I heard what was going on. And eventually, my heart stirred to me just to go and knock on the door. So when I entered, of course, this visionary thought I was an interruption. So he asked me a question. How can I help you with American English? Those days have not yet ended. But he repeated so many times, how can I help you? And then I say, of course, I have heard what you have been talking about, and I'm ready to get saved. And from that time, I gave my life to Jesus. You know, this is how God works. The man he visited could not get saved. But God saved him. So I went through normal training of the church. But eventually, I joined Nairobi Bible Baptist College. It's an FDA of Christian seminary. And I graduated in 1998. We started our church in 1999, January. And so far, right now, we have established five churches. And these churches are some in Western and some in Eastern. So it's our prayer when we look back and see what God is doing. We thank God because of the American people, American churches that send their phone, and that their phone reach to me. And through me, we have called and established several judges. Your pastor is here to testify. He was in El Dore, and he can tell you that so many judges have been standing in that side of the country. Now, I'm married, by the way. My wife's name is Cody Rook. I'm married. I have four children. First born, married, and she's working with the British Embassy as communication manager. She's called Jeanette. And then second born is called Storm. He's a designer, interior designer. A third born is called Stanley. He's here to graduate from Nairobi University in project management. But this younger man, I just see that God is calling him. He's doing things that amazes me for learning the work of God. And then the last one is Eason. He's in the final high school level. After that, they join the university. So thank God, we have started these churches. As I conclude about my testimony on churches, last year, last year I had to go home to one of my churches, oh no, sorry, our churches that we studied. in my area of the Uganda town. They invited me to go and preach. So when I preached, after preaching, Corona came in, COVID-19. And our government closed up movements. So I stayed at my rural home. While in my rural home, I was seeing the way people were suffering. It was troubling. And because God has helped me, I have several food in store. I think I have pictures of the blessings. I called them in my compound. I gave them food. I gave them soaps. I gave them what I was able to give them. These people told me one thing. We have so many churches here. No person has ever helped us. We have government officials. None has ever helped us. And now these people started talking, Pastor, why can't you now… in the area, also in that area, young people are drunk and taking drugs, sleeping in the… drinks, and some are so wasted, and these people started approaching me. Pastor, you are in Nairobi. Why can't you start a church that can help this community? So I'm praying about that. And as I was praying, I listened to another lady who had invited me to their home, and then they told me, Pastor, we have a church here, and there's no pastor. Somebody gave them lunch, and they have matope house. Matope house is mad, yes. So these people requested to me, can you be our pastor? Then I prayed and told him, I cannot be faster in two churches, but let's pray. So we have started working with this church. They are in need of establishing that building. The owner has already given the advance. So this is where my passion is. If we can help these people, we shall be able to reintroduce your family. So please, brothers, pray for us. There are so many needs in Kenya. I didn't come here to tell you our names, but you know we have names. We have prayer names, we have financial names. But when you pray for us, I saw my brother teaching here, wonderful lessons. Oh my God. Worship. Worship. If we can understand the content of the word, worship. And I do it through the Bible. There will be nothing for us to do. So thank you so much. I can say and say and talk and talk. But the pastor requested that I share with you something. And even as my brother was teaching here, he asked a question about the attributes of God. I was listening. And he was, he's such a great teacher because a great teacher teaches by asking questions. and that allows people to interact. Mama, you are a very good student too. My brother. Very active and participatory student of the class. Keep it up. Yes. And I encourage more to come for these lessons because they are the basics. Right. For our Bible understanding. Yes, sir. Amen? Amen. Thank you so much, sir. What's your name? Sefes. Sefes? Me? Sudi. Thank you for the way you are giggling with this guitar. Thank you very much, sir. Amen. If you are still playing this, God bless you more. Amen. Amen. Amen. Okay, let's open our Bibles in the book of Mark 9. My message is, we see people as human, but we need to see people more than the way God sees them. That is coming from Matthew 9, I will read three verses. Matthew 9, I will read verse 6, verse 7, and verse 8. But when he saw the martyrs, That is our Lord Jesus Christ. So when the Lord Jesus Christ showed the martyrs, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and there was no other approach and sheep had been no shepherds. Then said He unto His disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous. but the laborers are a few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest. Father in Jesus Christ, this is your Word. I'm not worthy to stand on this compass, but Father, because you have given me an opportunity to look at the past at the church, May you use me, not the way I am, but the way you should make me be. That this Word may extend us. This Word may encourage us. This Word may challenge us. This Word may comfort us. And even this Word may warn us and rebuke us. Thank you, Lord. Because I pray this, believing and trusting Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Something I have forgotten and I want to speak it on the authority of the father so that you may understand it's very serious. My brother, Ron, that man is a member of the community. The way he takes us, makes me feel So humble when I see you. So my brother, God willing with your prayers, you will be coming to Kenya next year too. Next year too? Yes. And as God knew how these things will work, I'm requesting you people, you people I'm requesting you great people, to allow your pastor. To accompany him. Do you know something? If these two men come to my church and one of them preaches in my church, that will be a great miracle and a great blessing. So please pray about that. When that time comes, stand with him and allow him to come. We have heard about the Lord Jesus Christ being the Son of God and being the Lord and the Saviour of our lives. This man, the Lord Jesus Christ, left everything. Left everything. Just like, for example, if that whole world were disunited, Because of liberty to heaven, but just like any rich American man or woman leaves the standard of this country, leaves the standard of this life, and comes to a place like Kenya, and not in the city, but in the slum. Right. Like in Kibera slum. I take him there. Do you know what will happen? He will die. Right. You just look at the environment after that. Jesus left heaven infinitely. He came to this world. A world that's immensely deceived. A world that is full of oppression. And of course, even the only son of God was oppressed to death. So he came, and along his ministry, as he was walking around, he saw the money Jews. Brother, Father, in America you rarely see money. When you come to Kenya, at the evening, when the people now are walking from their places of work and their businesses, you see money Jews. You see money Jews. And when Jesus was criss-crossing around, he saw man-goods, and being God of conversion as one of the attributes, this man-God was moved by it. This Lord Jesus Christ was moved by conversion. We can never reach people with the gospel of Jesus unless we are moved in with compassion. And this compassion must be the compassion that is spirited and is stemmed from our hearts and is planted there by God himself and is saturated there by the Holy Spirit of God. And when we have that, we shall start seeing people the way Jesus saw people. And when we see people the way Jesus saw people, We shall never sit in our houses. We shall never sit on our comfort zone. We shall always have a truck with us in our hands, which is one of the most oppressive things in human life, walking around with trucks. People look at you as trash. Can we people trash for the sake of trash? So he felt compassion for them. And the reason why he felt compassion for them is that these people who were in marriage was gathered and were fending. They fended and was gathered abroad as she having no shepherd. Oh my! This picture is in my mind. You brothers here, you cannot see what I see. Your father can see. Brother, all you can see, they have gone to various places in these poor countries of the world, they see this. In their minds, they can see the reality here. It's not just a story told. Right. They see facts on the ground. When these people come to Ghana, say, Pastor, now, you help us. In the corona, you have helped us. And I look at the young people, see, suppose we have a sender here. Suppose we have a sender here. So the people who are trained in the work of God can come here and help these young people who are heading to heaven. Jesus saw these people last night. They paid this. They were scattered. I have heard about the Haiti yesterday. They were scattered. And I saw those pictures. People running with what they can hold in their heart, on their head, on their back, their stomach. This is happening all over the world. Let us not hide in COVID-19. These storms are definitely good. But where are people going? People are going to hell. Brothers, these people were desperate. They were lonely. They have no hope, no remedy. And the name Jesus Christ came so that He brought us back to the normalities of God through the exchange of blood. Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life. These people need to know That's why God's all over the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. God gave His Son. We need to give our time. Brother, you are teaching here. We need to sacrifice our time. We have to sacrifice our bodies. We have to sacrifice our possessions in order to deny ourselves the goodness of life and at the same time let no one else hear the music of His anger. There is a lonely. He took our infirmities, our sicknesses. So we need to tell all people all the time about Jesus Christ. Speak to him. He has compassion. There must be a spirit of motivation to push us. There must be a spirit of of motivation to pull us. You know, the Bible says, My brothers, only the love of Christ constrains us. That means He presses on us. He presses on us. He pushes us. The Spirit of God. So that we can go into action. You know, I'm here, you think, because I don't have a family, my brothers and sisters, no. Because I don't have a child, my brothers and sisters, no. Because I don't have activities to do. And of course, if you want to blame my brother here, you say, Brother Sudi, can you come? Can you come? So if he said, can you come on down here? Can you say it faster? Can we walk up together? Can we pray together? Can we part in that together? Because it's not his brother on the ground there. So many frustrations. But with God, everything is better. Amen. And then finally, after having paid obation, And after said that statement, they held the harvest to his pleasures, but the laborers, he said, pray him, therefore the Lord of harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his field. Pray him. Praise the Lord. Pray him. You know, I look at this son of mine and I say he's called Stanley. Of course I gave him a chance, Stanley, because of what he did, the way he was preaching, and all that, and all that. And these books, when I read these books, I gave him Stanley Charles. This boy has some. I can feel that he wants to serve God. And many Atayama people nowadays, But you know, they get discouraged. They look at their wives, their parents are leaving. And they mock them. They say, if to be a pastor means how to live, pastor, thank God we are in America. And I mean it, brother. Many people, many young people in our churches, they think that to be a pastor is to be poor. Because of the frustrations, because of sometimes even having food is a problem. No basic food. Younger people say, ah, I can't eat. But pray. The Bible says what? That pray for the lot of harvest, that He may send laborers. Amen! Of course, in Matthew 7-7 it says, Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and it shall be found. Knock and it shall be opened. Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen If you want to blame anyone, blame me, man. I didn't know this place. Where on earth could I have known this place? Where on earth? People in the hoods, all these hoods. Where on earth could I have come to this place? Hey, hey. Where on earth could I have stayed in this beautiful building with pretty stuff and what? Competent, like the president, the head house, the coach. Man. God brought me here. Amen. Up in the prairie. Up in the city. Amen. That you stand with us. Amen. Amen. That you stand with us. If you can allow me, Pastor, I want to pass this statement and then you allow me to conclude. We have started churches, but some churches are like From North Carolina, brother, to here. Is that true? Yes. Nairobi, Nairobi to Kisumu, Nairobi to Kitaro, all these high distances. But now, transportation. What's the transportation? Using public means it's illegal. It's terrible. Yes, it is. But I've been seeking God to answer. God can answer the real problem. Yes. God will answer so that even the most people can establish their own church. In Kenya, there are so many churches. When you hear preachers stand on the pulpit of the priest, they want to say, God, I don't want to hear that again. It's a mess. They want the truth from this world. Amen. They want to really walk on God. Yes. And we are free to believe that God is going to answer. God is loving. Amen. Pastor, most of our members don't understand this. Sometimes, I look at them and say, there is a huge fridge. Everything is there, my friend. Everything is there. Pastor, we slept at the camp. I don't know. We were at the camp. Even at that camp, you go to the kitchen, there is everything. No, sorry. There is everything. You bring many people from Kenya, from this and the privileged places, they will eat and then they sleep on the floor. The six of us never sleep. Use this opportunity to thank God. Use the opportunity God has blessed us to say, God, I have my brother here. Say, just give us. I understand that what you all, the kind of worship you've made came out and the good ABCD may not come out. Just look at yourself and say, God, This is what I am because you have made me. Just in God's hands. I'll be leaving with my brother. I know maybe I won't come back. But remember to pray for us. Amen. We have this. We have this connection. This connection. You want to reach as many things as possible. I don't want to repeat it so many times. You want to do much, but you are hungry. You have the heart of Christ. You feel compassion. You want to say, I would like to do this much. It's not me. It's not me. Of course, before I came, the government of Kenya gave the statistic about the rates of how people are killing them to suicide, suicidal deaths. It's 493 from March this year to June. Wow. 393 people. A husband shoots the wife and then shoots himself. A wife strangles the children and then rams herself. Why stress? People have been dislocated from towns because they cannot pay rent, and the owner comes and removes the door. Because I'm unable to pay rent, the owner comes and removes the door. Some owners come, they remove the tins at the door. What option will you have other than just to move? Right. This is the situation. So many young people have graduated university. They have no job. And this makes it even harder to hear the message. Some of them question, where's this God? Our God is living. And it's real. That's the answer to that question. Amen. Amen. Pray more and enrich more souls. God will bless you, my brother and my sister. Amen. Amen. You have a very cheerful, loving husband. Start with him and enrich the world. God does not care whether you are going to Kenya, whether you are going to Chile, whether you are going to the Dominican Republic, where you are going. God can see you going through your prayers and your giving. It's an important lesson to take apart.
We see people as humans, but we need to see them as God does
