Hearing God's Voice
The Lord Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice." When was the last time you heard from God? If you are not hearing from God - if He is not leading you, then either (1) you are not listening, (2) God stopped speaking because of stubborn disobedience, or (3) you are not one of His sheep.
God speaks to us in many ways - primarily of course through His written word; but He also speaks to us through circumstance; through answered prayer, through open doors, or through "many adversaries."
Many times the Lord speaks to us through others - through our spouse or through others in the church, especially through the collective body assembled together.
But also, the Lord still speaks to us through that "still small voice" - giving us His peace about a matter, or a moment of conviction, or an impartation of truth we had not seen before.
This message first presents how God speaks, but then explains why some of us may not be hearing from God as we should. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice." Are you listening?
