We need to be praying for the
Muslim world because we've got a real intensification of persecution
of Christians. This is a couple of years ago.
Some of this would be slightly out of date because Syria and
Iraq will be pitch dark red now. The darker the map, the more
the persecution. And you can see the worst places
of persecution all in the 1040 window. All in the Muslim Middle
East. With the exception being North
Korea. That's just an outer edge and
that's one of the worst countries in the world. Most of the persecution
of Christians today is coming from jihad, Islamic persecution. It's a good thing they're peaceful
and tolerant. Imagine if they were violent. We keep being told
about how peaceful and tolerant Islam is, but Jihad is the reality
that affects us all. The head of Australia's military,
he's just retired, he has said, we are involved in a war against
Islamic Jihad that will take us at least the rest of the century,
it'll be at least a hundred years war, and he says, if there's
any of us still left to fight it in a hundred years time, it'll
probably carry on longer. Now this is This is an old chart
again from 2010. I haven't seen anyone dare make
a chart for how terrorism has escalated in the Middle East.
But from 2003 to 2010 increased 309%. I would say it must be well over
the 1000% right now. And one of the first places one
should look at is Nigeria. In Nigeria The Christians are
facing Islamic Jihad by Boko Haram. Boko Haram has killed
over 2,000 civilians this year alone. In the last three and
a half years they have carried out over 480 attacks on churches,
many of them car bombs, suicide bombings, direct attacks at churches. These Muslims are well-equipped,
well-trained. Boko Haram receives a vast amount
of funding from Muslim Middle East and the car bombs are a
reality so that churches now have to have concrete blocks
keeping vehicles away from the church buildings and have to
have security checks for people to go to church. This is just
absolutely outrageous. Quite aside from the fact that
We've had hundreds of Christian girls kidnapped, abducted by
the Muslims as part of their jihad. And yet, how much outrage
is there against us? The Christians in Egypt go back
to the time of John Mark, who wrote Mark's Gospel. And yet
the church in Egypt, after surviving 14 centuries of Islamic Jihad,
are being persecuted severely. They have, since the Arab Spring
of 2010, the persecutions increased, escalated horrifically, some
of the most important churches in the country being targeted,
and they abduct every year, an average of 700 Christian women
are kidnapped in Egypt, forcibly converted to Islam, and forcibly
married. And often they can be as young
as 12 years old. And this is a total pattern,
and the people in Egypt say that there is no doubt that there
must be official collusion. The government, the police, the
law enforcement must be involved, or they couldn't get away with
it on such a huge scale. So it's worse than Nigeria. Nigeria,
the whole world knows about these few hundred girls who've been
kidnapped. But in Egypt, and in Pakistan, this is an ongoing
regular pattern. the targeting of children. I've
been told by Egyptians that if it's Ramadan the Christian kids
don't take any food to school because they will be beaten up
if they've got food during Ramadan. Even though it's known they're
Christians. But the Muslims are on such a bad mood during Ramadan
and if any Christian's got any food they will attack them. And
so they've just got to adhere to the feast of Ramadan because
they gorge themselves all night and they call it a fast and actually
put on weights during the fast of Ramadan. But hundreds of churches
have been destroyed. Just in one weekend last year,
over 100 church buildings, schools and cultures were destroyed in
one weekend, 13th to the 15th of September last year. Muslim
Brotherhood went on the rampage, destroying some churches that
have been standing for a thousand years. In one case a church had
been standing for a thousand six hundred years, St Mary's.
priceless manuscripts destroyed, ancient copies of the Bible,
works of art, and the murder of Christians in Egypt just huge
and colossal. These are just some of the martyrs
who've been targeted in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood. The
Muslim Brotherhood, which American State Departments campaigned
to get into power and called a force for peace and moderation,
which the Egyptian government now calls a terrorist organization
and has banned them. And so, beautiful churches now
destroyed, but these people are standing by the cross. I've asked
Christians in Sudan before, what does the cross mean to you? I'm
wondering, is this some superstition? And they're saying, the cross
means we must pay the price for being a Christian. Jesus said,
follow me and I'll make you fish of men. Take up the cross, follow
me. In Iraq, Christians have been targeted since 2003. They
were being protected under Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein, the
brutal dictator, gave more freedom to the Christians in Iraq than
they've had since the Americans freed them and forced democracy
on them. Many people think democracy is
the solution to everything, but it doesn't work in the Muslim
Middle East. You might think a dictatorship's bad and you
wouldn't want to live under it, but there's worse things than a dictatorship.
There's worse things than a secular or military dictatorship. For
example, Islamic democracy seems to be one of them. There were
1.3 million Christians in Iraq before the Americans liberated. Now there's not even half a million.
They've lost 800,000 Christians, fled the country, and these are
from families that have endured 14 centuries of Islamic persecution.
And now they flee. That's how bad it is. You've
got to understand, to understand Islam, the split between the
Shia and the Sunni. The Shiites are centered especially
on Iran, But you can see the dark areas are where the Shiites
have their support. Of course they're the Aicholas.
I try to understand it this way, or explain it this way. The Shiites
are like the Roman Catholics. Who cares about the book? The
only thing that really matters is what the Aichola, what the
Pope, the top guy says. So the Sunnis are like the Protestants.
To them everything is the Quran, it's the book. Whereas the Shiites
are more like the Catholics, they're more hierarchical, and
it's just as, you know, don't think for yourself, follow orders,
the Aichola knows what he's doing. And so this is the big split,
and the Shiites and the Sunnis will kill one another enthusiastically. And this would make the wars
of religion between the Protestants and Catholics look minor in comparison.
And so the whole Muslim world is divided between Shiite and
Sunni. Now, the Muslims might say all Muslims are the same,
we're all united, there's only one in Islam, but that's a lot
of nonsense. And we haven't mentioned the Sufis, which are smaller
bunch but they're more like the charismatics, they're the sword-swallowing,
fire-breathing, miracle-of-a-day crowd. And they may sound more
peaceful but not necessarily. In Sudan, it was the Sufi Mahdi
who massacred everybody in the Hole of Khartoum, which General
Gordon stood up against. So the Sufis can also be violent
but these days they're not the main problem, the main problem
is the Shiites and the Sunnis. And in Iran you've got the Shiites
in control. They are so radical that they make some Sunnis look
fairly moderate. That's a lot of what's going
on in the Arab Spring. Shiites, revolutions, overthrown
Sunni governments. Now, how do we get the violence
that we've just been hearing about from ISIS? Well, first
of all, you've got to see how the children have been brought
up in Islam. They are brought up to trample
the flags of Israel and the United States, of course, and they're
brought up to glorify murder and to glorify terrorism and
throwing rocks. That's not a pebble, that's a
rock! And face painting, practicing
with weapons. If you haven't seen the New Barbarians
DVD, then you should. It's got from their TV, getting
the children to sing. They're like preschoolers. saying,
you know, I want to be a martyr, I want to blow up for Allah,
and I want to kill Jews and Christians, and this is what they're teaching
on their kiddie programs. Having love on your hands, and
you know, I want to grow up to be a martyr for Allah, and brainwashing
the kids. Imagine the burning of the Israeli
flag, just the hostility, the hatred. Teach, as Golda Meir
once said very well, She said, we will only have peace in the
Middle East when the Arabs learn to love their own children more
than they hate us. Because right now, they don't mind breeding
their children and bring them up just to be martyrs, as they
call them. But of course, to us, a martyr
is someone who dies for his faith. But for them, a martyr is someone
who kills for his faith. They've got a total perversion
of everything. The children are taught how to strip weapons,
even blindfolded, how to fire, how to Now what are our kids
learning? How to play video games. They
are bringing up a generation to fight. And we may not like
it and we may not want it, but they are bringing their kids
up how to make petrol bombs, how to act under fire, how to fight. And this isn't just in the Muslim
countries, it's in Britain. They head those insulters on,
masquerade those insulters on. Europe, you will pay. UN 9-11
is on its way. Islam will dominate the world.
Look at the hostility towards British policemen, practiced
by people who are on the dole. 80% of the Muslims in Europe
are on welfare and don't do a day's work in their life. 80% of the
50 million Muslims in Europe are just living on these foolish
Christians and secularists who cheerfully pay for them to come
and parasite off their country. while they scream blue murder.
They live in a failed state that has never achieved anything or
produced anything and they blame Israel and America. It's all
their fault. But this is the most disturbing. Kids in public
dressed up. This isn't exactly funny Halloween
games. Dressed up as a suicide bomber.
I regret that I have but five lives to give for my country.
Could be the sort of attitude of many Muslims. Blasphemous
cartoonists must be hung. They're not joking. They really
mean it. This isn't just using some hyperbole. Throwing petrol
bombs and rocks is just the beginning. Islam is using freedom and tolerance
to destroy freedom and tolerance. If they ever get control over
Britain or France or any other country that right now is nominally
Christian, they will outlaw Christianity and freedom and they will bring
in Sharia law, they've made that clear. What does Sharia law mean? It means stoning women to death
if they dare to report that they were raped. It means you kill
the victim. Like here, in Afghanistan and
Kabul, a football match during the halftime takes a woman out
and shoots her in the head. What was her crime? Not sure,
but she probably reported that she was raped. Yes, in Islam,
Sharia law, you hang or shoot the victim. Because the man's
always in the right and the woman's always in the wrong and that
is Sharia law. And there are people out there
who think Sharia law is a good idea. This woman's husband cuts
off her nose. That's perfectly sexual in Sharia
law. But this is the reality of what we're dealing with. Cultural
differences. Getting stoned in a Muslim sense
and in a Western sense is different. Taking shots in a Muslim sense
and a Western sense different. Gay guys hanging out is very
different in Iran to what it is in the West. Islam is freedom,
they say. How can this even be fun? To
dress up a kid as a suicide bomber. How is this possibly appropriate?
The grenade in one hand and the Quran in the other. In a mosque.
They don't even have the courage to show their face being shown.
And yet, We have, opening up in Berlin this month, a synagogue,
church, and mosque combined. The first combined mosque-synagogue-church.
And there are so-called Christians, including Kenneth Copeland and
others, gathering together with the Muslims and happily interacting,
and the Pope has got delegations gathering with the Muslims, and
we've got Christians on a wide spectrum. Rick Warren, Bill Hybels,
meeting together with Muslims, Brian McLaren had Ramadan celebrated
in his church. Why? And Islam says for world
peace Israel must be destroyed. And I don't think I can see the
irony in this statement. I just love the spelling on this
one. They only did phonics to help
And then you get the American State Department Secretary of
State saying to Benjamin Netanyahu, can't you at least meet him halfway?
But Hamas's demand is death to all Jews, exterminate Israel,
genocide, so can't you meet him halfway? I mean, be reasonable,
just give 50%. And so that's at the background
of what's going on in the Middle East. And the Middle East is
aflame today because of Islam. And the worst group on the horizon
right now is ISIS. I-S-I-S. Islamic State of Iraq
and Syria. ISIS. Now who are ISIS? ISIS
are the Syrian rebels, so-called, who come from all over the world,
mind you, who are part of the civil war in Syria, who NATO
and the CIA have been supplying with arms and training and This
is who America was proposing to go to war for last year, to
go and bomb Assad. And so, if you can remember back
far enough, the American CIA trained Osama Bin Laden back
in the 1980s and equipped him with stinger missiles and so
on to fight the Russians, because the Russians had Afghanistan.
Not seeing far enough ahead that communism will one day die, but
Islam is going to be the biggest threat and bigger afterwards.
You are training Islamic terrorists to fight a short-term enemy,
and you're making for yourself a long-term enemy. ISIS is nothing
other than the Syrian rebels whom America and Europe have
been supplying with arms and finances and training. And now,
they don't just want to overthrow Syria, they want to overthrow
Iraq too. Which, thanks to the Americans having pulled out of,
they've left a whole lot of nice vehicles behind, thank you, with
the keys, and apparently enough fuel as well to run them. So
they're able to drive American Humvees Thank you very much,
American saxpayers, in their victory parades with their ISIS
flags. And they are coming in and they
are taking over dramatically. This is the face of ISIS. And
they have already been responsible for the deaths of 160,000 people
killed in Syria alone in the so-called civil war. And it's
not a civil war. A civil war is when people of
the same country fight for another. But ISIS consists of Mujahideen
from Saudi Arabia, from Somalia, from Libya, from Pakistan. They
come from all over the Muslim world. The Syrian army only comes
from Syria. But ISIS comes from the entire
Muslim world. ISIS has got people from America
and Britain. They've got Brits from Birmingham in ISIS. ISIS is a totally multinational
Muslim mercenary force. And of course destroying churches
is what really excites them the most. This is what they put on
their own websites, kicking down gravestones with crosses, smashing
them, desecrating. This, in memory of a Royal Air
Force officer killed in action, Royal Canadian Air Force. Here
they are going through war cemeteries, smashing them in the Middle East.
By the way, you know why there are war cemeteries in the Middle
East. because the British and Commonwealth forces liberated
the Middle East from the Ottoman Turkish Empire. They freed these
countries. And this is how these people
are grateful for them being freed from the Turks. Not even history
is safe from these Cretans. Bulldozers to smash down monuments,
tombs, shrines, including Now, we all know Muslims like suicide
bombers, but did you know they went in for blowing up churches
and monuments and tombs as well? They have gone in and they have
demolished, of course, mosques that belong to the other side
that they don't like. But even the tomb of the Prophet
Jonah, Jonah who went to Nineveh, destroyed in Mosul. They went
and they demolished this tomb which has stood for 2,500 years. Someone who is sacred to the
memory of the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims. Jonah and Daniel's
tomb demolished. It's just phenomenal to think,
why would you do that? Why would you wage jihad against
even the dead prophets? not that that can actually harm
them, but what you're doing is harming civilization by taking
away a place of history and heritage that people can visit and learn
from. Smashing stones, smashing statues, memorials, blowing up... This is part of a caliphate. A caliphate is an Islamic military
dictatorship where everyone is under Sharia law. And as you
can see, this is some of the liberated area in Syria. This
is their flag. And this is their map. ISIS wants
to reclaim the caliphate as it was at its height, which includes
of course Spain, it includes of course Austria, and Hungary,
and Greece, and Romania, and Bulgaria, and Serbia, and a whole
lot of other places that don't think they're Muslim. But you
see under Islamic doctrine, if you ever were under Islam, you
belong to them for perpetuity. And that is why the Caliphates
must come back to Spain and Portugal and Austria. Remember they did
try to take Vienna several times. And many people say history is
not important. Who cares about history? Oh it's
just dates and dead people. Well just take one very significant
date. The most important date in the
history of Serbia was the 28th of June, because back in the
14th century that was the Battle of Kosovo, when they had fought
against the Turks. And so what was the date that
the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria chose to come into
Sarajevo? 28th of June. That's the most holy day in the
history of the Serbian people. And so the Serbian nationalist
terrorist chose that date as that day. If his security chief
had known his history, he wouldn't have chosen his visit on that
day. What's significant about 9-11? Well September 11th in
1565 is when the siege of Malta was lifted and the Muslims lost
that massive battle, the Great Siege of Malta. And September
11th in 1683 is when the Polish and German cavalry came and rescued
the Austrians from the Second Great Siege of Vienna and That
was the high water mark of the Turkish Empire, and they fled
back. So, two massive defeats for the Muslims occurred on the
11th of September. It's not accidental that they
chose September 11th to attack America. They know their history. Now, if we know our history,
we'll be able to be better prepared. Dates are significant. This is
their map. And this leader of ISIS, Abu
Bakr, that's named after one of the Hanfiq caliphs or apostles
of Muhammad Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi he was released by Obama from
American custody in 2009 he now leads ISIS which is funded by
Saudi Arabia and by America and totally armed it seems by America
and here you see the purple is controlled by Islamic militants
And the green is controlled by the Kurds. The Kurds are doing
what they can to resist. But you can see ISIS is all over
Iraq. All over. It's absolutely...
Baghdad will fall if present trends continue. And they've got good weapons.
Lots of them. And they're well funded, because
the funding comes from Saudi Arabia, who benefits from all
of our use of oil. and from the US State Department.
So, they've got lots of vehicles, flags, uniforms, weapons, or
oil, because they've got a whole lot of the oil fields too. And,
I don't know what you see when you see those eyes, but I see
a demon-possessed person. These people have sold their
souls to the devil, they are violent as anything. And they
are kidnapping vast amounts of women, and forcing them into
the hijab and forcing them into conversion to Islam and forcing
them to be married to Muslims, often twice, three times, four
times their age. And of course there's also the
chopping off of limbs, this is part of what you do in Sharia
law, it's chopping off hands and limbs. Stoning people to
death. This is on their sites. They
take pictures of this and they portray it. They're all happily
there, looking like a bunch of medieval savages, stoning somebody
for whatever reason. And these are people who, for
one reason or another, are going to get shot by the Muslims. This is what they put. Somebody who was an official
in the Iraqi government being shot. And in public, all these
people gathering around while they've got the speakers, and
this is all set up for the camera, and they are filming it, and
they are posting these things, getting people lying on the ground
and shooting them in the back. These are pictures they have posted.
These men were apparently members of the Iraqi army. So they're
just murdering more. And this is, as I say, the life
of a Christian child should bless me. In this case, this is Pakistan.
But just to remind one, there's crucifixions taking place under
ISIS. Absolutely hideous. There are
crucifying Christians in Syria. There are crucifying Christians
in Iraq. And look at all the people gathering
around and taking the pictures. And because of a passage in the
Qur'an which says that they will make the rivers flow with blood,
they discovered that the blood congeals too quickly so it doesn't
flow properly into the river, so they had to have water flowing
behind to make the river flow with blood. They've worked this
out now, how to make the rivers flow with blood, and they're
quoting the Qur'an on their website saying we are fulfilling the
prophecy of Muhammad because we're making the river flow with
the blood of the infidel. This man, with these lovely demonized
eyes, was a doctor. He decided to become a suicide
bomber and blew himself and a whole lot of other people up. And this
is some of the pictures that he and others posted to celebrate
his wonderful deed that instead of saving lives he's going to
take them. Now they march in western cities, in this case
in America, saying, Behead those who assault the Prophet. So I
must point out to you that this is the symbol that they are putting
on homes of Christians to mark them for destruction. It's the
N in Arabic and it symbolizes the Nazarene. Nazarene is how
they describe Christians. Now anyone who's going to be
upset by horrible pictures please don't look for the next seven
slides because I've got some horrible and I haven't chosen
the worst I've chosen the least worst. But people being buried
alive. People being hung in the streets.
Children being hung. People being beheaded. Literally
holding up heads of people beheaded. This child beheaded. This is
an Australian Muslim son who he posted the picture of his
son holding up a Christian's head. This is an Australian Muslim
and his kid. Children deliberately targeted
and murdered. Hideous. OK, that's the end of
the most graphic, horrible pictures I've got here, just to prove
the point. But let me tell you, there's a lot worse out there.
I'll try to find the least gory, gruesome, horrible of them. And
we don't have to look for these. They're on their own sites. The
Muslims are... This is not someone trying to
expose them. This is what they're putting out there to us. Look
what they're doing. It's so disgusting. What What will it take for the
world to wake up and see that in Iraq we are seeing genocide,
that they are trying to annihilate the church? And as the Bishop
of Baghdad said, it seems the West is more interested in football
than the extermination of the church in Iraq. What will it
take to get the Christians to gather together and recognize
we are facing Islamic Jihad and nothing less than a Christian
crusade will do to respond to it? It's about time that all
the Christian nations united and just realised. In fact, I
think even the Hindus and the Buddhists and others would join
us in this one because everybody in the world is not a Muslim,
is targeted by these people. They're the biggest threats on
earth. ISIS murdered over 5,500. In fact, they killed 5,500 in
one day. And they filmed it. Boko Haram
has killed at least 12,000 people, tripled 8,000. And what does
the BBC and CNN and Reuters say about it? And what does CNN,
the Christian News Network, have to say about this? They repaint
reality. And this is what the Muslims
want to do. We are talking about one quarter of all the Christians
in Iraq have fled their homes, have lost their homes. One quarter.
And so You can see, in fact, my daughter Andrea posted a whole
lot of clips on Western journalism, where she's writing for, of one
of the other video clips of a bomber saying, I ended the war in Iraq,
I've pulled the troops out of Iraq, I promised you I'd get
the soldiers out of Iraq, I've finished the task, I've done
what I promised, I've got all the American soldiers out of
Iraq, we've left Iraq, and on and on and on. When he's been
asked about all this, he says, we know leaving Iraq was never
my idea. How blatant a lie can that be? So, as of August this year, Obama's
ordering the military to conduct humanitarian attacks in a country
I already said we don't need to be in, against an enemy I
already said we are defeated, in a war I already said we won.
As I say, making George Bush look better and better ever since
2008. If anyone ever had anything to complain about George Bush,
it's got to look pretty trivial compared to what this jihadist
in the White House has managed to achieve. And Secretary of
State Kerry, you could imagine him meeting with a Saudi saying,
I want to discuss how we could stop the terrorists from both
armies. And that's the fact. The American
State Department and CIA have been funding and arming ISIS
from the beginning. Of course, not under the name ISIS, they're
called the Syrian rebels, but they're the same people. And,
of course, Saudi Arabia is the biggest funders. The Saudis,
who are doing quite well, thank you, because we're all still
using petrol. America warns Russia against
meddling in the affairs of another country. Something America's
never done. In fact, as Putin's points announced,
every country America's meddled in is voice-over. In fact, I'd
go back a hundred years on that one, but certainly just look
at recent years. Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Egypt. Is there any country America's
meddled in that's better off today? That absolute curse and
the blight on the world, they are the evil empire today. The
American government is deliberately undermining and subverting social
structure everywhere. Somehow Christians end up on
the worst side of everyone and end up getting slaughtered. It
is treachery on a high order. Henry Kissinger said control
oil and you control nations. Control food and you control
people. Do you see attempts to control oil and alternatives
to oil? And why is it that some of the
greatest agricultural economies in the world have been so subverted?
The Rhodesian farmers used to export food and feed their people. It was a very efficient agricultural
economy, but Mugabe, who still gets aid from all over the world
to keep his dictatorship in place, 35 years later, after Jimmy Carter
brought him to power. Jimmy Carter's legacy is not
only seen in Ayatollah in Iran, but also in Mugabe in Zimbabwe. But South Africa, in 1994, we
had 70,000 commercial farmers who fed 100 million people in
Africa. 100 million people fed. Today
we've got less than 30,000 commercial farmers, and we're feeding less
than 40 million people. But 50 million live in South
Africa. So we're having to import food. And who's feeding the people
that we used to feed in the Congo and Zambia and everywhere else?
So that's just two countries we're intimately related with
that are no longer food exporting. In fact, both food importing. Is there a reason why countries
that used to be agriculturally self-sufficient are not anymore?
Ethiopia used to export food. It used to be called a breadbasket.
then the Communists took over and became basket cats. Who runs
the world? Well here's somebody's list and
he's put a whole lot of interesting ones which the Bilderbergers
and the Illuminati and the Central Banks and so on definitely are
part of it. But there's something evil going on. There's a lot
of conspiracy theories but there's no doubt whatsoever that there
are unseen hands behind and we may argue and discuss over who's
there, but there's no doubt Satan's at the top of it, controlling
through these different groups. And the banksters are part of
it. And the UN is definitely one of their tools. And Islam
must be the most effective tool of Satan ever devised for slaughtering
Christians and persecuting God's people. A liberal is someone
who thinks the American Republicans are waging a war on women. But
the Muslim world isn't. This is what goes on in Indonesia. Women being publicly whipped
for what? Maybe they spoke back to their
husband or maybe they didn't wear their hijab or maybe some
strand of hair was sticking out. So what's a real war on women?
Forced child marriage? Female infanticide? Female kidnapping? Genital mutilation? Torture? Rape? flogging, amputations,
on it, murders? Is that not the worn woman? And
yet the liberals don't want to see anything wrong with Islam
but they want to just get upset over Christians saying things
like, well, yes, abortion's illegal and men should be leaders in
the home and men should be leaders in the church and that's a worn
woman but some of this isn't a worn woman. Notice Islam's
got a door for enter but they've got no door for exit. It's easy
to be a Muslim but you're not allowed to leave once you're
in. Never take your freedoms for granted. Which is why one
of the leaflets we distribute at the National Women's Day is
the Christian Liberation of Women. It's so important that people
realise that every single freedom that any woman has comes from
the teachings of Jesus Christ and his examples in the work
of the Church and can all be lost if we go back to paganism
or Islam. Is it beginning to sink in yet,
what we are facing? The Muslims have killed 80 million
Hindus, 10 million Buddhists and 60 million Christians. Conservative
estates. Pictures of Muslims at work,
London, Paris, Amsterdam, Syria, Gaza, Iraq, Sydney, New York
City, Stockholm, Berlin, Madrid, Nigeria. Is there a pattern? Well, the main pattern is their
peaceful intolerance. Now, if Islam is peaceful and tolerant,
what do we call the Amish? Or the Mennonites? Now, Liberal
Logic 101, when a white Democrat criticizes a black Republican,
it's all about the issues. But if a white Republican criticizes
a black Democrat, then it's racism. We've seen this work over here
too. You might support Kenneth Neshew,
and you're a racist. Or you might speak out against
Zuma, and you're a racist. Does this make sense? How liberals
view religion. A Christian handing out Bibles
or gospel tracts is forcing his religion on someone else, but
a Muslim peacefully correcting his religion by whipping a woman
in public, that's peaceful. Charles Spurgeon says, I do not
think the devil cares how many churches you build, if you only
have lukewarm preachers and lukewarm people in them. And what we've
got is we've lost the martial spirit. Islam is declaring war
on Christians, war on the West, war on civilization, And we're
pretending that they're not, and we think if we pretend that
they're not, and we keep saying they're peaceful and tolerant, it will
be so. We can speak into existence, but just repeat the lie often
enough. Repeat often, Islam is a peaceful
and tolerant religion. Say it 10,000 times, and maybe
it'll happen. But Islam is telling you all
the time, we're going to kill you all. You either convert or
we kill you. The Bible speaks about the meek
will inherit the earth. Many people think meek means
weak, but it doesn't. This lighthouse is meek. Meek
is not weak. Meek is strong. The Lord was
meek but not mild. This gentle Jesus, meek and mild,
is a false doctrine. He came into the temple with
a whip. He chased people out of it. Make
no mistake, God is not a weakling. But meek means you can endure
all the assaults of the world and you can still stand firm
and shine the light. And I think the Christians in
the Middle East are like this, lighthouse here. The Christians
in the Middle East, no matter what's going on, until hell freezes
over, they're going to stand firm and they're going to shine
their light for Christ. Because all of the darkness cannot
put out the smallest light. And now you can see progress.
made by, for example, in this case this is in China, a Christian
church that's been demolished. They are demolishing churches
that cost millions of dollars to build, decades to build, demolished,
because, communist Chinese say, it breaks our building code,
because the spires on the cross are desecrating our skyline. Restrictions on religious freedom.
The darker the hell on the map, the more You can see something here immediately. The Muslim and the communist
world is where Christians are under the worst persecution.
But I want you to notice how dark it looks in England right
now. Why? Because even though it's
a nominally Christian country, England's gotten so secular,
they're now locking up people for preaching the gospel or for
offending a Muslim or for bed-and-breakfast people not wanting to have some
homo perverts come into their home. You would have thought
right of access is the right of the owner to decide, but no.
There's a whole lot of nonsense going on. Canada actually should
be a lot darker than that in terms of the restrictions they're
putting on Christians, but they've just got so few challenging the
laws that it doesn't look as bad as it actually is. But there's
a lot of persecution going on in the world today. And Christians
are in the middle of it in the Middle East. People need to remember
there are 13 million Christians in the Muslim Middle East. And
remember the Middle East is the birthplace of the Christian Church.
That is where Christians began. Damascus in Syria used to be
a great Christian center. Antioch which sent out the first
missionaries to Europe at 13 in what today is Syria. The Christians who are suffering
right now in Pakistan, ten major church buildings and properties,
hospitals and schools have been confiscated by the state, in
the state of Punjab, just like that. They're called the Great
Mafia, Muslim Mafia Land Grab. Many of the Chaldean and Assyrian
Christians, they date back to the first century. These are
our brothers and sisters in Christ, and they are being targeted,
and they're standing firm, And most of them don't want to go.
They don't want to leave their country. And why should they? They've
been planted there like the parable of the sower sowing the good
seed for the sons of the kingdom and them bearing fruit where
they are planted. There's two parables of the sower
in Matthew 13. The one is where we are the sowers
and the seed is the word of God and the field is the hearts of
men. But the other parable says where God is the sower, we the
sons of a kingdom are the seed, and the field is the world. So
God sows us to be fruitful where we are planted, just as we sow
seed in people's hearts, which is the gospel. These people have
been so... must the Middle East be depopulated
of Christians? The Western governments have
been so anti-Christian. If a Muslim's feelings are hurt,
they will move heaven and earth. But Christians can be annihilated
and they do nothing except to help the persecutors. We have
got evil people in power in the United States of America and
in 10 Downing Street and in the EU and Brussels that don't care
about the Christians being told convert, flee or die. It is genocide. To think that most of the Iraqi
Christians have already fled 800,000 have already fled their
homes and now just in the last month a further quarter of them
have left. There's one pastor in Baghdad,
Canon Andrew White, Church of England. He said of his congregation
of 6,000, he knows 1,200 have been murdered in the last 10
years. His church, St. George's Church in downtown Baghdad,
has been bombed five times in the last three years. Friends of mine in Egypt sent
this postcard. they may destroy our churches but they cannot
destroy our faith. Now I spoke on persecution of
Christians on a radio program in America and I was horrified
that somebody phoned in and said, who cares about the Christians
in Egypt? I mean, they aren't evangelicals
are they? They are Orthodox, they're Cots,
they're Assyrian Orthodox, they're Chalcedon Orthodox, they are
a variety of Coptic churches, but these are people who stood
firm for Christ for 1,400 years under Islamic persecution. These
are people who suffered for Christ, who could get all kinds of benefits
if they converted to Islam, who could leave the country, for
that matter, and live on welfare somewhere in the West. But these
are people who are suffering a lot more for their faith than
you are. I said, I'll question your salvation before I question
theirs. Richard Wormald said when he ended up in the same
cell Romanian concentration camp cell as an Orthodox priest. He learned that that Orthodox
priest, while he had a different way of expressing his faith,
he was still a real Christian. He said, when you're suffering
for Christ, it doesn't really matter what denomination you
came from. And to me, I'm a strong Christian. I've got no time for
icons and so on. In fact, an Egyptian Coptic priest
friend of mine, John Banuk, he offered me a big icon, I mean
a big icon of Christ, and I said, Pastor John, I can't accept that.
He said, but why not? I said, I'm a Protestant, you
don't use icons, I could put up a picture of Christ. So he
gave me a little icon of Saint Mark, which we've got in the
last cabinet. He said, Saint Mark, well that's okay. we can
put up with that and you know he gave me a lovely big cross
to wear as well and I wear it when I'm preaching in the Egyptian
Coptic Church and they invite me to preach at St Mark's in
Lusaka for example. Egyptian missionaries being sent
out from Egypt say if I got sick in Lusaka I'd go to St Mark's
Because I know I've got Egyptian, Coptic medical people there. I think it's the best medical
care I'll get in all of Lusaka, if not Zambia. They're good people.
These people preach an evangelistic message. They want us to come
in and preach the gospel. They're full of amens for what
we preach, and I'm preaching a reformational message. We can't
just look at them on the outside and say, oh, well, they use some
incense, and they're fancy dressing. It's not our style. It's not
the way we express it. They've been under Islamic persecution
for centuries and the fact that they've stood firm and this is
part of their identity and they will not give it up. And I think,
well, praise God for them and let's stand firm with them. But
what a horrible attitude that some people say, well, they're
not part of our tradition, they're not part of my denomination,
so why should I care? Well, Jesus said, whatever he
did unto one of the least of these, my brethren, he did unto
me. We're one body. One body. If one part of the
body is hurt, all the part of the body suffers. You can't stub
your toe or hit your thumb or have a toothache or migraine
and the other parts of the body say, well it doesn't affect us.
One part of your body saw your ulcers, your kidney, your whole
body is very involved and sympathetic and it knows all about it. And
so it should be just like when just your mouth is taking the
ice cream, the whole body enjoys it. So we should rejoice with
any part of the body of Christ that's winning a victory and
we should grieve and feel with any part for the suffering. And
just like if you hit your thumb, the rest of your fingers come
around to try and take some of the pain away. So we should be
coming around the brethren who are under attack. And that's
why we produced already four editions of Slavery, Terrorism
and Islam. for people to understand the historical roots and contemporary
threats of the biggest threat and challenge, the largest persecuted
church that there is in the world today. We must understand Islam
and we must evangelize Muslims. And we must pray for the Middle
East. There were, in 2010, there were 15 million Christians in the Middle East. 15 million. Today there's less than
13 million. It's the only part of the world
where the number of Christians is going down, and a percentage. And it's not for lack of trying
on their side. You can see the growth of Christianity
depicted from the 1st century to the 20th. The yellow is Christianity,
the green is Islam. You can see how we suffered at
their expense, but you can see how the world wars knocked us
down. We were on a sharp increase in
the 19th century, and 20th century we dipped, because we were so
efficient at killing one another in the First and Second World
War. And now Islam is climbing and we are not growing fast enough
to take place. Christians must get back to big
families and teaching the next generation how to fight. We are
going to fight. We are going to be involved in a life or to
death struggle against Islam. These are the breakdowns of the
population of Islam. They've got the Sunnis, they've
got the Shiites, and they've got the others, which is mostly the
Sufis. So the Sunnis are the biggest bunch, as I call them,
they're Protestants, and the Shiites, they're Catholics, so
to speak. They say not all Muslims are radicals. Well, according
to the best statistic, only about 15 or so percent of Muslims are
radicals. OK, so if you've got almost 2
billion Muslims, how many radicals does that make? It's just exciting
to say there's only 300 million radicals. And you can see in the countries
where we have got the worst, well wherever the Muslims are,
from the largest percentage down just how many problems there
are. At any rate, you can see the
green represent the Muslim areas. Percentage of the population.
In the year 1900 Muslims were 12% of the world's population.
Now they are 27%. That is bad. And part of this
is birth control and abortion in the West and polygamy of course
in the Muslim world. But the Christian world has been
killing itself by going for small families and subsidising the
Muslims. evangelizing of the Muslim world.
These are just to see where the Muslims are spread, where you
can see them, percentage of population and distribution by country.
They're still concentrated mostly in the Muslim Middle East. But
here, you see the size of the countries in terms of the size
of the population. Yes, Libya is quite a big country, but it's
a small Muslim population. Indonesia's got one of the largest
groups of Muslims. Pakistan's got a huge amount.
There's even a vast amount of Muslims in India. A huge amount. So this gives you a better perspective.
Salaf has got very few Muslims but boy can it cause a lot of
trouble. It's just under 2% of the population. This is a shocker. Here you can see the percentage
of immigrants in these countries that are Muslim. Absolutely startling. As Obama said, if you looked
in the terms of the number of Muslims in America, you'd have
to recognise America is one of the biggest Muslim countries
in the world. And this is what you call the
10-40 window. Between the 10th degree and the
40th degree latitude in the Northern Hemisphere, North Africa, Middle
East, South Central Asia. This is the final mission's frontier.
Over 3 billion non-Christians in that area. And most of the
wars, most of the persecution, most of the terrorism world comes
from the 1040 window. And that's where the least amount
of Christians are and where the least amount of missionaries
are. And the shocker is that more than 90% of all missionaries
in the world go outside the 1040 window. So where Christians are
needed the most, the church does the least. Where are most of
the world's Mishmis today? Mexico. The Philippines. Kenya. In fact, more than half
all American Mishmis in Africa are in Kenya. There are 55 countries
in Africa, but most Mishmis are in Kenya. Why? Born free, out
of Africa, nice infrastructure. This just gives you a bit of
an idea of the problems we've got. But Muslims can be one to
Christ and they are Muslims being one to Christ. This is the battlefield
in Africa. This shows from the percentage,
the green being Muslim, the yellow being Christian, the blue being
animist. Our Lord Jesus said the harvest
is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord the harvest
therefore to send out workers into his harvest field. And a
lot of that harvest field is the Muslim Middle East, which
includes what we've been talking about tonight, mainly Syria and
Iraq, but also Egypt, Iran, Turkey. We mustn't forget these areas.
We may not go there, but we can focus our prayers on them at
this time in particular. Any questions or comments? It's very
difficult to witness in the Muslim nations, because the minute you
say something, they move you out of the country. They just
take you straight to the airport, get out, and you're gone. So
it's a very difficult strategy for a long-term missionary to
stay in a place like that because usually they just think of it
as a chance to talk to anybody. But I think our strategy should be,
is that when they come out of that country, we should like
here, you've got the Somalians here in our area, we've got,
when they're here, we should reach them. You know, and that's
what we should maybe do is change our strategy of reaching these
guys. When they're outside the nation, like when we're in Amman,
we could speak to the Pakistani workforces and we want many to
come. Now they're going back to Pakistan.
They've got to try and do that in Pakistan and see what happens.
Correct. You know what I mean? So we've
got to change our strategy. And even here in Cape Town we've
got an ideal opportunity now of foreigners. Immense amount
of foreigners here. You know, and we should change
our strategy and be going into the areas of the Somalias. Correct. You put your finger on it. There
are several ways you can evangelise Muslims without risking your
life in a Muslim country. The most obvious is all the Muslims
who come to our areas. In fact, I know Life Challenge
Africa, they had a strategy, I don't know if they're doing
it right now, but a few years ago, they were daily having people at the
airport, waiting to go to the airport, as feet come in, they
can see where people are coming in from Muslim areas, and they're
looking. Inevitably the people who come in from Muslim area,
first time Salafi, and whoever is meant to pick them up isn't
there. And they want to go up, can I help you? And helping a
person, and often they need transport, sometimes accommodation, and
this is how the Christians have been able to use French evangelism
to make contacts with Muslims who are absolutely helpless in
a strange country. That's one thing. Then there's
Muslim students. A lot of them in the university campuses. We
can reach out to them. We can get them in homes. We
can go to their homes, door to door. All kinds of manuals available. Lending them DVDs. The film More
Than Dreams is a very effective film for learning to Muslims. The Jesus film, The Passion of
the Christ. They're fascinated with Jesus. They will watch films.
They're interested in reading a New Testament, giving them
a Bible, putting it in their hands. That does help. Then there's
Satellite 7. Satellite 7 is a Christian TV
satellite program. They're based in Cyprus, which
is an island that's mostly Christian, in the Middle East, and they're
broadcasting not only into the whole Arabic world, but even
into Farsi, for the Persians, the Iranians, and into Turkish.
So they're getting the main... Those are the two Middle Eastern
countries that don't use Arabic. Turkey and Iran. but they've
got those three main languages covered 24 hours a day. And it's
brilliant, outstanding. But I think there's some other
strategy we've got to seriously consider, along with of course
internet, literature, what you can do through social media. But the Christians already in
the Middle East, now only 13 million, helping them survive
thrive and training and equipping them, because how can any of
our missionaries possibly compete with people who know the language,
who know the country, whose roots go back for centuries? There
was a mission called MECO, they're not as busy now as they were,
Middle East Christian Outreach, who I think had the most phenomenally
important strategy, and they've been working for about a century,
based in Cyprus as well, going in, and they haven't had enough
support lately to do all that they used to do, but MECO was
providing Bible college lecturers, theological lecturers going into
the Coptic colleges and so on and they would come in with their
own support base and they would be providing outstanding evangelical
training who were competent in Hebrew, Greek, Theology, Church
history and so on and so they were strengthening the local
Coptic and Orthodox churches by providing leadership training
first, then literature Of course, lots and lots. In fact, Calvin's
Institute is now in Arabic and so on. Just providing all kinds
of great books in their languages. And helping them with Bibles,
helping them with everything they can. Because helping the
local people who are already there is good strategy. That's very wise use of time
and resources. But what I fear is that today
a lot of the strategy of the West is how to help these people
relocate to Canada or America or Britain or something. That's
not helping us to fill the Great Commission. We need to get our
governments to provide protection for these people's safety because
if we're going to give foreign aid to these countries, their minimum
requirement should be you don't murder Christians in your country.
That should be an absolute don't even think about it. And we should
be able to put enough pressure on our governments to add strings
to all the aid that's coming from the EU and US and so on. Even South Africa, we've got
a voice diplomatically that will be heard in the Middle East.
surely we can have people speaking up about it. I was complaining
to some of our parliamentarians that when did you last speak
up for the Christians being persecuted in the Middle East and I've seen
several press statements just this week going out and it shows
that lighting a fire under our representatives can help. So
there's a range of things. Notice on here we've got some
of our books, videos. I think this Islam Rising is
one of the best to expose, to alert people to what Islam is.
The Muslim Vanishing Workshop manual, also very helpful. Bear
in mind, there's a lot of scriptures to encourage us that we will
fulfil the Great Commission amongst the Muslims. The Gospel of the
Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a witness
to all the nations, and then the end will come. The earth
will be as filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the
waters cover the sea. The Lord will be king over the
whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord. His name will
be the only name. There will be a time when Allah and Muhammad
will be extinct. So, we've got newsletters around,
including at the back of this latest FANTA news that's got
on the table there, there is a testimony of Muslims coming
to Christ in the Middle East, which is the result of a phenomenal
amount of investigation by missiologists, that there's a lot more going
on in the Muslim world than we're aware of. And I think that's
one reason why the Muslims are fighting back so viciously, is
they're losing ground. They're losing a lot of their
own people, which is why they're lashing out. So these are some
of the resources we've produced. The Muslim Vanishing Workshop
Manual now has 20 different audios on MP3. Sudan's a great example
of a country that used to be totally Islamic, and now a third
of it's broken free. These DVDs, Terrorism, Persecution,
Islam Rising, are excellent to alert Christians to the threat
of Islam, but More Than Dreams is, I think, one of the best
that you can put in their hands. This is five testimonies of Muslims
who were converted to Christ, and it's from a wide range of
them, very effective. and that's of course part of
our training manual as well. Any more comments, questions
concerning Muslim evangelism? One thing I wanted to say about
the Islam whole movement, it's so interesting as you said in
the beginning the infighting amongst themselves and what we
see happening in the Middle East right now. I did a little bit
of own research out of curiosity. You have got the Shiites and
the Sunnis But I don't know if two of you have had a look and
I think there's something we can just do on the Wahadis who
are also otherwise known as the Salafis. It's the most orthodox... But they are a subset of the
Sunni. The Wahabians and the Salafis,
they are still part of the Sunni generally. I don't think they
themselves will regard themselves as such. Because they are broken
away. When the last Operation World
War was done they were included under Sunnis, so if they've more
recently... If they choose who they would
support, I think they would support the Sunnis above the Shiite.
But if you go onto the Wikipedia and then follow on for all the
sites that they then quote, you get some interesting information.
And there isn't one nation in this world that is majority Salafi
or Wahadis, but the biggest majority of them are concentrated in Saudi
Arabia and in Qatar. It's interesting how Qatar is
the one that's giving the most shelter to the Hamas at the moment. In fact Qatar is paying for a
lot of mosques in Europe including the mosque in Marseille, a mega
mosque. And you could call the Wahhabis
the most orthodox of all the Islam. They're the ones that
you must take it. Have the black, not only white,
Islam women with this little slip. And women are not allowed
to drive cars, not allowed to get motor car licenses. There are a whole string of things
I've just mentioned too. so it's quite interesting to
see that they also all the Al-Qaeda and what's the latest one come
all out of the Wahhadi Salafi faction of the Islam. Muslim
Brotherhood, Hamas, Al-Qaeda, Al-Sabaab, I think they're all
part of them. Boko Haram what you call it?
Boko Haram. Many names. So do you know what
that means? Something the West? I've just
slipped my mind. Haram means the West and Boko...
No, Boko Haram is the Bible is forbidden. Haram is the opposite
of Halal. Halal is permitted. Halal food. Haram is forbidden.
anything that is haram, that is forbidden. So, Boko is only
the book, meaning the Bible. In the Quran, the people of the
book are the Christians. The Bible is the book. So, I
know the media wants to say Boko Haram means the Western education
is forbidden, or sacrilege. That's nonsense. The plain etymology
in Arabic, Boko Haram, the Bible is forbidden. It's the only meaning
it can possibly be. It's just two words, Boko Haram.
Boko can only be the Bible. So I think it's been deliberately
mistranslated throughout. Similarly, you'll see that a
lot of people when they translate these Muslims, when they translate,
say Allah Akbar. They say God is great. No, it's
Allah. Allah is not God. And it's wrong for us to translate
Allah as God. And those Christians and Muslims
who have done so have done violence to the text because for us to
confuse their Allah with our God Allah is not Jehovah In contrary if you read the history
I have one very good book about the history Allah is the name
of the God which Muhammad's parents and forefathers He just made
Allah to be a single God whereas before Allah was just one of
many Islams They had hundreds of idols in the Kaaba in Mecca
that people did pilgrimage to. He got rid of all the other idols
but he just left the black rock which they believed to be a piece
of the moon. It's a meteorite. A piece of rock that fell from
the sky. So they believe it's part of the moon. And so the
moon, the crescent moon, it's part of everything that Islam
decides, the whole calendar and everything else. So Allah is
at the moon god. And effectively what they're
doing is bowing down to a rock in a box in Mecca. There is something
that actually has a statue of a man with a swan and a sickle
and a star. It was the Lilliput. That actually
came from the Lilliput. Yes. They have got the idol in
the British Museum in London which plainly it's called Allah
and it's a statue with a crescent moon on his lap. Yes. So there's
a lot of evidence which Robert Morey who's written the Islamic
invasion and many other books on it, he's one of the top authorities
on the hadith, he says that Allah is nothing other than the pre-Islamic
deity, the moon god. Yes? That's very interesting
and that about Boko Haram, I did not know that, you just assume
they give you a literal translation. I wanted to talk about Russia
and America. because you brought up Putin
and Obama in your talk and I recently read your article in the Journal
of Medicine about Putin and those statistics actually surprised
me about Russia building churches and America building mosques
I recently read that in the last few days that Obama said in his
speech that he, America or his government does not recognize
Russia as a superpower but rather a regional power. So that is
dismissing Putin and I don't think we can do that when you
take the statistics that I read in your article it's completely
contrary to that. Well, I mean just bluntly, key
points, America owes more than it's worth. America's gross domestic
product is less than its debt. Its national debt is 110% officially. Now it's 114% of its GDP, which
means they owe more than they're worth. Russia owes only 8% of
their GDP, which is actually very healthy. America, we don't
even know when they last did an audit of their Port Knox. We don't even know if there's
any gold in Port Knox. In fact Germany's been trying to get
their gold back from them and America's not giving it and I don't think
they can give it because I think they sold it all to China a long
time ago. There's a lot of skepticism in
America that America's even got any gold in Fort Knox. Whereas
Russia's just added 500 metric tons of gold in recent years
to their reserves. Russia, if you think of how their
economy has increased 800% since the year 2000, that's pretty
good, and how they have halved the percentage of the population
in the poverty category, and have increased the middle class
from 8 million to 50 million. That's not exactly communism,
that's more like capitalism. There's a move towards free enterprise
in Russia, there's a move towards socialism in America. Some have
shown that Putin's warning America about the dangers of socialism
and godlessness, which seems like a joke. the tables could
have turned so much from the days of Ronald Reagan. Now, obviously,
Vladimir Putin's a politician, but nevertheless, an important
part of his support base is the Russian Orthodox Church, which
he is plainly lining up behind. And it's unquestionable that
Obama has not attended any church service, any congregational church
service, since he became president. whereas Priton is in church every
Sunday and there's no doubt whatsoever he's there on Easter and Good
Friday and he's recognised as a dedicated Christian by the
Russian Orthodox Patriarch. So by their definitions he's
considered a faithful Christian. Whether he's born again or not,
who knows his heart. But he does have a credible testimony.
If you click on a YouTube link and ask for Vladimir Priton's
testimony He'll speak about how dedicated a Christian his mother
was and who got him secretly baptised because his father was
a hardline communist and therefore wouldn't have tolerated it and
how he always wears this gold cross around his neck that his
mother gave him. I don't know, does that make him a Christian?
He speaks about his faith in Christ and you can see him plainly
recognising his sinfulness before the Lord in the liturgy of the
Orthodox Church and in tears in the services Is this genuine?
I don't know. But there's no doubt whatsoever
he's more Christian than Obama. And there's no question. So I
look at it and I say, I'm not saying everything in Russia is
right. But compared to America, they're going in the right direction.
America's going in the wrong direction. I would ask, if I could ask Obama
a question, I would ask him, which region would that be? Because
it's the world's largest country. Is that Europe? Is it Asia? Is
it both? The old American principle of
the Monroe Doctrine was Europe stay out of the Western Hemisphere.
Don't interfere in the Americas. So much so that they in fact
started wars against Spain to get Spain cleared out of Cuba
and the Philippines and so on. Well the Philippines is not exactly
the American hemisphere either. So they were willing to go to
war with the European power. They as late as the 1890s threatened
war against Britain over border dispute with British Ghana. So the Americans were saber-rattling
back at that stage and the British seriously considered they could
get more with America in the late 1800s. And that's when they
started changing policies to align themselves more with America.
But here's America who says you're not allowed to interfere in our
backyard. But America can have CIA agents stirring up trouble
in Ukraine which used to be part of Russia and Christian demobbed
Crimea and Crimea is more Russian than Hawaii or Alaska is American
because the Russians liberated Crimea from the Ottoman Turks
back in the 1780s and Crimea was always part of Russia it
wasn't part of the Ukraine until the 1950s when a Ukrainian president
of Russia which is a Khrushchev arbitrarily without any due process
or any kind of referendum handed Crimea under the judicial administration
of Ukraine. And so when Russia said, well,
if Ukraine's going to join NATO and the EU, then we want Crimea
back. That wasn't unreasonable. Anyway,
it's had their warm water port. So this business of demonizing
Putin... I haven't been to Russia. I've
been all over Eastern Europe, but Russia's the one part of
Eastern Europe I haven't been to. My father-in-law, Bill Baskin, spent
a lot of time ministering in Russia too. But as I look at
it as someone who's fought the Russians and spent most of my
life regarding them as our enemies, I find myself in a strange position
of defending the Russians against what I think is unfair Western
propaganda right now. And I think they are demonising
Putin in the most insane way. And I don't think any of these
Western governments are a leg to stand on because they're a
bunch of hypocrites and liars. I don't trust any of them. I'd
like to see Putin and Obama sort this out in a ring. I'd pay money to do that. You might have to handcuff Putin
before he gets swollen. Is there a lot of Muslim influence
in the former Soviet Union? Well, of course they've got the
Chechen rebels and they've had terror attacks such as the attack
on the school and they had a bombing of a parking block in Moscow
and so they've had some high-profile Muslim terrorist threats on Russia.
Of course Russia went in and pulverised the Living Daylights
I think and they used some very brutal tactics to put down the
Islamic terrorism and there's not been much of a repeat so
Russia knows how to be brutal in dealing with internal threats
like that. I think the Muslims know they're
dealing with people who would not play the fool like the Americans
do. So Vladimir Putin is a hardline
man. If America wants a war with him,
I don't see the Americans having the will to fight and take casualties. The Russians have the will. America's
doubtless got better equipment, but equipment doesn't win wars
on its own. as Vietnam proved. So I think
that would be very stupid if they wanted to start a new war,
even if it's just a Cold War with Russia. Because in the last
Cold War they had some justice on their side. The West still
stood for something in the days of Ronald Reagan. But right now
I don't know what it stands for, aside from homosexuality. The
West is a bunch of perverts right now. It's not just Obama. The
Western leaders are weak. Weak-willed people. Wimpy, cowardly,
spineless-like. The French are Holland. And Brian Cameron. Idiots. These guys are as useless
as they come. I think the whole lot of them
in the scales don't even weigh up to what Putin is. He's so much more of a leader
than all of them. I don't think the West should be getting them
as an enemy. I think they should be coming alongside Russia and getting
Russia as their ally in the war against Islam. I mean, Russia
and the West working together to fight Islam, that's a winning
combination. But if we want to do something
stupid like fighting Russia now, I think it would be as dumb as
Britain and France getting on the side of the Ottoman-Turkish
Empire in the Crimean War in the 1850s to support the Muslim
terrorists against the Russian Christians back then, that was
idiotic enough, or as stupid as Britain and France fighting
Germany in the First and Second World War, which was why? For
what possible purpose? In what way did this improve
anything for anyone? And we squandered all of our
energy fighting our friends and cousins for the Communists to
benefit in the past and now for the Muslims to benefit. So if
the West gets divided again, I think we've got to recognise
that I look at Russia now as part of the West. Russia is more
free enterprise and more Christian than most of Europe. They should be our allies right
now. Did you see that Europe is heading for another recession?
I didn't notice that. Germany as they're getting very worried
about it. Well I'm not surprised because
first of all when you've got tens of millions of Muslim parasites
living off their welfare system which is a very generous welfare
system that alone should cause some grief. In fact the cost
of immigrants to Europe is just staggering. It's in the trillions
of dollars for the cost of welfare, and of course if Europe only
offered freedom of opportunity, not many people would come there.
But because they're offering welfare, they're coming by the
tens of millions, as is America. It's insane. I don't know if
you noticed the ANC in one of the election campaigns of the
last so-called elections we had, they said In 1994 there were
only 2.4 million people in South Africa on receiving state welfare
grants. And now it's over 20 million. And that's apparently an achievement.
I would have thought that's a sign of failure. But this is what
the London Times spoke about as an ineptocracy. And they said
in 20 years the ANC has failed to improve their economy in this
country at all. They inherited such a great country.
Now consider for example Germany and Japan in 1945. Countries
bombed into rubble. Everything destroyed. Infrastructure
destroyed. Country crippled. Absolutely staggering losses.
And yet in 20 years built themselves up into spectacular powerhouses
that put to shame Britain and America. Now look at the ANC
inherited absolutely immaculate infrastructure and economy and
in 20 years has managed to run it into the ground. And the only
solution is more of the same and more taking from the few
productives and giving to the parasites instead of increasing
productivity in the country, they've actually decreased productivity.
And this is a British Financial Times editorial which I thought
was very appropriate. It's a few cites in their top
receipts. Get that article, very well written.
So that's what Sadat has now got, an ineptocracy. A totally
inept government that's incapable of doing anything useful. But
just think about it, in 20 years, what have they achieved? They've
increased the number of people on welfare tenfold. Yay! So, any other comments on... And you had that white flag with
the anti-Nazarene, what was that? From the Muslim world? Oh, they are marking the homes
of Christians with that. It's a symbol to mark that that's
a Christian. It's basically the N in Arabic
and you'll notice a lot of people now using this as their Facebook
statuses and so on to say that I'm a Christian. Because the
Muslims mark the Christians with a circle and then a squiggle
inside which means they're Nazarene. and she works with women in the
internet, and she said when she went in, she does not identify
herself as a Christian, because they equate Christians with abortion,
pornography, immorality, homosexuality, the like. So if you don't hear
Christians, they automatically assume you support all of that.
In other words, it's a typical Westerner, as seen on Hollywood. Yeah, so that's the question.
She said they identified themselves with the murderer in the last
season. That's what they say. And she says it's amazing because
she'll go on the public transport and that's with women, because
the women don't travel with the men, they travel separately.
So she says that's fine, they were experienced, they could
get on. And someone usually will ask her something and she'll
answer that that's who she is. And she says immediately they're
interested. And that's maybe what you said,
there's a lot going on. So that's maybe why they're targeting
them as a means. The real Christians. Because
they're now starting to differentiate. Now in Romania, for example,
they called the serious Christians, Repenters. You have the Christians,
then you have the Repenters. Actually not a bad term for a
real Christian. Any other comments or questions?
see the pastor's son of age five was slashed in two? Yeah, Ken
and White mentioned this child that he had baptised and he was
named Andrew in Copenhagen. And this is just something else
to bear in mind. The only government that I'm
aware of that's made a strong stand for the Christians in the
Middle East is the Russian government. Vladimir Putin came strongly
in protection of the Christians in the Middle East, who by the
way are almost all Orthodox. And so the Russian Orthodox Church
feels and always has felt that they are part of the protectors
of the Christians in the Middle East. And that's why in fact
Britain and France went to war against Russia in the Crimean
War in the 1850s was because Russia was moving against Ottoman
Turkey for having allowed a massacre of Christians in their territory.
And the British and the French took the side of the Muslim mass
murderers and propped up this disgusting Ottoman Empire for
another 60-70 years at the cost of another 2 million Christians
murdered before the end of the Turkish Empire. So this business
of we're always on the right side is absolute garbage. Take
Syria. Russia supports Assad because
the Christians had some form of protection under Assad. And
now that the ICI... Wherever ISIS is, there is no
protection. Exactly. So, in the case of Syria,
I would have thought that Assad being a military dictator was
a bad man but compared to Islamic radicals that want to overthrow
him Assad begins to look almost saintly because he didn't persecute
the Christians in fact he protected them and he kept the islamicists
under which is roughly what Mubarak did in Egypt Mubarak kept the
muslim brotherhood illegal and crushed him, which is what the
government now is doing in Egypt since the military has taken
over again. There's a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group.
The Muslim Brotherhood murdered Sadat back in 1981, who was the
first Egyptian president to make peace with Israel, which is why
he got murdered by his own army, the Muslim Brotherhood. Americans
brought the genie out of the bottle with this Muslim Brotherhood
being brought to power and the whole Arab Spring which the Americans
created. And you just look at each case. Gaddafi is terrible. But what's replaced Gaddafi is
worse. Saddam Hussein, you can go to
a friend of mine was a missionary to Iraq and he said in downtown
Baghdad the Baptist Church has got on the massive beautiful
organ gifts of His Excellency the President Saddam Hussein. In fact I was told that back
in the 90s this missionary discovered that all the bodyguard of Saddam
Hussein were Christians and all of his cooks were Christians
because he knew Christians wouldn't assassinate. He could trust them
but he couldn't trust the Muslims. A Muslim mind do a coup. So his entire bodyguard, all
of his trust people around him were Christians because they
knew they've got to keep him alive with their lives on danger.
And so in attacking Saddam Hussein, look, we've got to get this mindset,
we've got a general mindset in the West that dictatorship is
bad, democracy is good. But I think we've experienced
enough of democracy in Zimbabwe and South Africa to realise democracy
is meaningless if you don't have a well-educated, literate, Protestant
population, democracy is absolutely meaningless because all it means
is you vote tribe, or you vote theirs, or you vote what you're
told to vote. And democracy amongst people who don't have a reformation
base is absolutely worthless. And we've seen it in Zimbabwe.
They break the people's arms for voting for the wrong party.
Literally burn their houses, build those down the whole community.
So this is democracy? A dictatorship is better if it's
going to bring stability and in the Middle East I don't think
you've got too many options. You either have a military dictatorship
that keeps the radicals in place or you have Muslim democracy
where they kill everyone. So, you know, now Assad and Saddam
Hussein don't look so bad and Mubarak looks really good compared
to what they're trying to put in their place. Do you think
ISIS is going to the support that the West gives
to Hamas? Interesting. I don't know if
anything will get the West to stop supporting these radicals.
What does it take them to wake up? It's scandalous. But just bear in mind, again,
as we've been looking at the First World War so much, we looked
at it just a month ago, our side went to war in the First World
War to support Marxist terrorists murdering not just Archduke Franz
Ferdinand and his pregnant wife Sophie but having assassinated
a whole lot of people including the Empress of Austria and trying
to assassinate the granddaughter of Queen Victoria who had married
the King of Spain, King Alfonso of Spain, in the wedding procession
pond. These terrorists in Serbia who
were the radical terrorists of their day, exporting assassinations
around Europe, they were our allies. Britain, America, France,
Russia went to war to support assassins and Marxist terrorists
against Austrians and Germans who were standing up against
terrorism. So, so much for us being on the good side. But in
the Crimean War it was even worse. They were blatantly on the side
of the Ottoman Turks and this time As far as what's going on
in the Middle East, Russia's supporting the side that protects
the Christians and NATO and the CIA are supporting the very people
who have become ISIS. It's absolutely hideous. You
couldn't make up the script for a horror film or comedy. It's just, this is a mixture
between a comedy and some science fiction novel. How on earth could
anyone have imagined that our side He could have ended up on
so many of the wrong sides, backing the enemies of the church. I
see the fingers of Satan involved in a whole lot of this. To have
used all the power of these Western governments to support evil in
Islam, and even the fact that he's still using petrol. We should
have gone long off petrol decades ago. Back in the 70s people were
predicting by the 1990s you'd be having these flying cars and
you'd be having this space travel and we'd have, you know, everything
would be hydrogen, you'd be able to put in a little bit of anonysm,
your engine to keep going for hundreds of kilometres, because
nobody expected that you'd still be using fossil fuels in 21st
century. And why? Because the oil companies
have bought up all the patents for every other kind of alternative
energy and we are stuck with a form of fuel that enriches
these veterans in the desert who should go back to their camels
and their tents. If we would just stop using this
out-of-date technology, it's pathetic that we're still using
petrol. And if you're paying so much for it, it's not worth
that much. I remember my father pulling
up to the petrol station at Eastern saying 50 cents please. That
wasn't a joke. You could fill up a lot of oil
for 50 cents. Right now we are, one out of
every three barrels of oil from the Middle East is going for
weapons. We are funding Islamic Jihad every time we fill up a
tank. It makes me sick. The government is making money
out of people. In fact, it's true. Inside of
about half of what you're paying for fuel is actually taxed for
the government. to swander. I'm sorry if I'm not doing anything
good with it. And that ties in with what you were saying, when
they destroy knowledge that we have and they're trying to stop
advancements, that ties in with what you were saying about dictatorship
and the best form of government. Aristotle viewed that thousands
of years ago, he wrote that on politics, that a good dictator
is better than a good democracy. He ranked the forms of governance
and that was something the Greeks knew. As soon as it's common
sense, if you see a committee, it's going to give you worse
governance than one guy making good decisions. One guy making
bad decisions like Mugabe is the worst kind of government.
So you rank them... Well it's Marxism and it's racism
and it's tribalism all mixed together with the worst ineptocracy
as well. But it's the opposite of the
groups who invented democracy are the ones who were huge critics
of it and said well it's also can be, it will be abused. But the Greeks never expected
every person to be able to vote because there was only a few
of the people who actually could vote in their circle of democracy.
It was still a qualified franchise very much and Britain had a qualified
franchise till this last century. and Rhodesia was working a qualified
franchise which actually worked quite well. And there was the
tribal trust lands with the chiefs having power and you had the
upper and lower house and we still had a check and balance
interest. Qualified franchises are actually a minimum level
of education or property ownership to qualify to vote. This business
that everyone agrees can vote even though you know they're
just going to vote triumph. party or whatever, even if the party
does everything against them and impoverishes them, they'll
vote for them five times in a row. Just to speak hypothetically.
So it's an insane system. I believe the only good form
of government really is in a really reformed Protestant society which
has real spiritual insights for the people and discipleship in
a church situation, that in that situation I believe democracy
means something. Take, for example, Orange Free
State under President Martina Steyn. You had to be a member
of a reformed church, in good fellowship with your church,
a member in good standing, and then you could vote. It wasn't
just for anyone. You couldn't have a pagan voting
on atheists or anything like that. There were standards, and
the Orange Free State in Transvaal worked as countries with a qualified
franchise. I think Rhodesia is a good example.
I think a constitutional monarchy as they had in much of Europe
before the First World War could work well. You had checks and
balances, you had a house where they had read to rulers who didn't
have to run for elections but who were dedicated to the country
and had no political advantage. Then you had elected representatives
and you had law and constitution. That worked better. But right
now it's rabble-rousing nonsense and then you've got these bureaucrats
in Brussels or New York who decide against your best interests anyway.
So yes, something between a constitutional monarchy and a qualified franchise
I think would be wise, but at the moment it's demon-crazy rather
than democracy. Is Isis the name of an ancient
Egyptian god? Yes it is. That's quite true. Not an accident I'm sure. I think
the same demons are around. The people in Isis may not realise
it but there's some funny connections there is there not. Satan's only
got a few tricks up his sleeve and he keeps using the same ones
over and over and if we don't study a history we will So let's pray, let's pray for
the Christians in the Middle East, let's pray for the brethren in
Iraq and Syria and particularly Egypt and Nigeria. Lord God we
thank and praise you for the fact that you have all power
and you can intervene and we know Lord God that in many ways
we in the world are suffering the consequences of generations
of foolishness and bad choices and we pray Lord God that you
would grants a revival of repentance amongst your people that we may
learn the lessons He wants us to learn and particularly that
Western nations which have been in so many ways in the past great
bastions of Christianity would come to repentance to realize
from just how far we have fallen. That those in pulpits who are
avoiding the issues or being compromising and cowardly would
come to repentance and realise the need to sound the trumpet
boldly and to call your people to prayer, to action, to repentance
and to be prepared to fight if need be to protect our loved
ones from this onslaught of evil. All of you know that our brethren
in the Middle East have suffered so much over so many years and
they've been disarmed and they've been in many ways taught to be
passive in the face of this kind of persecution. they need champions
to stand up on their behalf and to speak up for them and we do
pray Lord God that you may graciously and mercifully raise up and we
recognize that may even be Russia speaking up for them and that
will be a great shame to those of us in the West that our nations
that are meant to stand for freedom and justice will be eclipsed
by a country that suffered so much under communism that they
should seem to care more than we do is a disgrace to us and
we pray Lord that you would continue to work in Russia, Lord, to strengthen
your church and to bring people out of the pits that socialism
and communism and atheism put them into, and may they continue
to be a rebuke and a challenge to countries in the West that
have forsaken their great Christian heritage. Lord, for the many
Christians who are in the Middle East, we pray that you would
raise up intercessors, supporters, champions on their behalf to
speak out for them, to deliver aid that they need. And we do
pray also Lord for the wicked that you would cause them to
fight against one another, you'd cause these Muslims to be more
divided, to squander their energy on fighting one another. And
Lord that for your honour that you would bring a good amount
of them to repentance through the testimonies of those that
they have seen suffer for you. But Lord, those who refuse to
repent, may you judge them Lord, may you deal with them in such
a way that people can see that there's a God in heaven who answers
prayer, who brings justice. We pray Lord God that you would
intervene in the affairs of men because we can see that humans
have made a terrible mess of this And we ask, Lord, that you'd
be gracious to raise up those who would speak truth and who
would call you people to take the Great Commission seriously
and to recognise the threat of Islam. Help us, Lord God, to
do our part. Guide us, Lord God, especially
around Cape Town, that we may win these people who are our
potential enemies to become brothers and allies in Christ. Thank you,
Lord, for the transforming power of the Gospel. Thank you for
the power of prayer. Thank you for the fact that your word never
returns void. Thank you, Lord, for the people we could reach
even on Saturday. May we continue to work through the balloons
and literature that we distributed, through the people that we spoke
to, the seeds that we planted. Thank you, Lord, for our opportunities
on Radio Tygerburgh. May you bless this new edition
as it goes out, even including some news of these events. And
we ask, Lord God, that you may mercifully and graciously Raise
up your church to once again be the church militant, the church
that once inspired the crusaders, we pray, would inspire your people
to action again. May you be our shield and our
strength. May no weapon formed against us take effect. We pray
it in Jesus' name. Amen.
