Steps to Become an Evangelist

Can Evangelism and Persecution go together?
Persecution must mean that the message is having an impact. The worst thing that can happen is to be ignored.

After Stephen’s death as a martyr there arose a fierce persecution.
See Ch 8:1 -3 and Acts 26:10-11.

This did not destroy the church but became its missionary movement in action. See v4.
The commission of Acts 1:8 was fulfilled through persecution.
How slow even Gospel minded people are to go forth with the gospel. – God can use political hostility and the wrath of men for His own purposes.
