The Church in Ephesus and the Loss of Love

In the face of many pagan influences in their culture and false teachers, the saints in Ephesus had patiently endured those trials and maintained a vigorous defense of orthodoxy. However, despite their doctrinal accuracy, the church had fallen from the love which it had at first into a state of neglecting love for one another. 1 Corinthians 13 provides a basic plan the Ephesians needed to follow in true repentance.
