How I love Jesus, because He
first loved me. Can you help me love Him? I love Him because He first loved
me. A sinner, wretched, blind, good
for nothing, on my way to hell. But he had mercy on me. Even
when I was yet a sinner, he went to the cross to die for me. Even
before I went into my mother's womb, he knew me and he died
for me. And I tell you, that's a love
that I can't really comprehend. But I sure am thankful that he
extended his mercy and he saved me. And I'm so thankful that
I have his love in my heart. And I tell you, I love him tonight.
He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm thankful
for my wife and my children. I'm thankful, I'll tell you,
all the blessings that God's given me. Of course, he's the
first because without him, I have nothing, and I tell you, no one
could live with me if I didn't have him. I really believe that,
but I'm sure and thankful that he's real to me. And I tell you,
he'll get real to you, too, if you'll just come to him and pour
out your heart to him, your broken heart, he says. It's gotta be
a broken heart. It's gotta be a contrite spirit.
You gotta humble yourself, as a little child would do. I mean,
you gotta get humble. And you've got to cry out to
the Lord, and He'll have mercy upon you and save you. No matter
how bad, how deep in sin you've gone, He'll forgive it, you see. Legion, there He was. And he
spoke a little bit about that not long ago. And I tell you,
he cried out to the Lord. And the Lord heard him. Very
simple, very quick like. And I tell you, the Lord rebuked
those demons, the legions. And they went down in the herd
of swine and was choked in the midst of the sea, you see. But
that man was bound up with demons and sin. And I tell you, he couldn't
keep his clothes on. They tried to bind him with chains.
He'd break them. He was fierce. and so forth. But when the Lord came around,
I tell you, he began to ask for help. And I tell you, when the
Lord sat down on him, I tell you, he got humble. I tell you,
he got steel. He got saved. The Lord dealt
with him and gave him a sound mind, put him in his right mind.
gave him a new heart, and I tell you, and then he was found at
the feet of Jesus. No longer was he seen in the
graveyards cutting himself and ripping his clothes off and wouldn't
keep them on and all this kind of thing. And I tell you, he
couldn't talk with nobody, couldn't really have anything to do with
society because they wouldn't have nothing to do with him because
they didn't know what to do, how to take him. He was, I tell
you, bound up and the devil had him. And I tell you, but when
he got saved, he was at the feet of Jesus, clothed, in his right
mind, you see. And he said, I'll go with you.
Wherever you go, I'll go. I mean, when you get saved, it's
like that. You just want more and more of
the Lord. You just want to be right in
His presence all the time. And I tell you, the Lord said,
well, you go back to your family and your friends and show them
what's happened to you, what I've done for you. God gave him
a burning testimony, and he went doing the same. But I want to
speak to you, Lord being my helper, Now briefly, out of chapter,
or however it takes, if it takes to midnight, we will, but it
may not, so I don't want nobody to get, I think you'll be alright
anyway, I believe you don't mind, but anyway, I'm not planning
to be long-winded, but I am planning to do God's will, but the Bible
speaks in Luke chapter 16, and of course a book in 17 as well,
the Lord willing, but This was talking about a rich man. And
this rich man, the Bible said in verse 18, excuse me, verse
19 of Luke, chapter 16, they're talking about a certain rich
man. Now this was a real rich man. This wasn't a parable. This wasn't
just some kind of story. This is a true happening. And
this was a true rich man. And this was a true beggar. that
the Lord was speaking about. He said, there was a certain
rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared
sumptuously every day. Now he was, had fine linen and
purple, no doubt. I'll tell you that at that time,
and I'll tell you, I guess that's maybe a representative of things
of being, having, I don't know, luxury or what have you, but
this man lived in luxury. I'll tell you, he fared sumptuously
every day. And I mean, he had the best,
and I tell you, he lived in luxury. He had no need for anything.
And I tell you, but he couldn't have any time for a beggar that
was at his gate full of sores. Now, here he was, and no doubt
he thought that he had no need for nothing, you see. And I tell
you, that's the way this flesh is. And I tell you, that's why,
really, I tell you, In a lot of cases, I tell you, people
will go to hell with their riches. They'll go to hell because they
love their riches more than they love the Lord or to get saved.
The Bible speaks of these things and He talked about there was
a certain one that said, Lord, I've kept all these from my youth
up. What do I lack yet? And he said, go sell what you
have and give to the poor. And he went away sorrowful because
he had great riches. And so, a rich man is not a sinner. I tell you, there's good rich
folks, there's good those that are good stewards and they try
to use it for the Lord's work and the things of that sort and
something that are saved. I'm not talking about them, I'm
talking about these that were, I mean this man fair and substantially
living in luxury and I tell you he had no time for this beggar
and he had no time for God, he thought. And there was a certain
beggar named Lazarus which was laid at his gate full of swords. Now the Lord had this man here
that he would be no doubt a witness unto this rich man And I tell
you, I believe the Lord has given this rich man another opportunity
hopefully to see himself, to humble himself and to see a need
and to be able to come to God and listen to Lazarus, no doubt. I believe Lazarus has something
to tell him. I believe if he would have compassion on him,
I believe that Lazarus, God would have used him to speak to this
man's heart. But this man went on, and who
knows how much he's already heard. But anyway, this man, he was
living substantially every day. But Lazarus, here he was, full
of sores. had full of swords on him, he
was begging for just a crumb that fell from this rich man's
table. He wasn't coming and asking this rich man for a brand new
car, or a brand new horse I should say, or what have you, or something,
or some of his handy downs, or whatever. But no, he just desired
the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table, and desiring
to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.
Moreover, The dogs came and licked his sores. The dogs had more
compassion for him. And I tell you, the dogs licked
his sores. But this rich man, he didn't have no time, you see.
And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by
by the angels to Abraham's bosom, and the rich man also died and
was buried." Now, let me tell you tonight that the saved's
gonna die, I'm talking about the flesh is gonna die, and also
the unsaved's gonna die. I'll tell you, but there's a
big difference here in the ones that, like the beggar, when he
died, the Bible said, that the angels carried him to Abraham's
bosom. That was a paradise, a type of
heaven at the time, you see. And the beggar died, he went
right into heaven, but the rich man died also, and they buried
him. And let me tell you, the Bible
said when they buried him in hell, he lifted up his eyes,
being in torments, and see if Abraham afar off and Lazarus
in his bosom." Now hell's in the heart of the earth. And I
believe that's where a paradise was at that time in the heart
of the earth. And he was able to look over and seen the beggar
Lazarus in Abraham's bosom. He was comforted, you see. I
tell you, the ending of the matter for the beggar come out so much
better than the man that had everything that this life had
to offer. You see, and everybody's seeking
to find what this life has to offer them, what they can lay
up, store up, what they can obtain, but they're not thinking about
the hereafter. They're not thinking about what's
going to happen when they die, you see. Happens today, a lot
of people, they live in the now, they don't think about tomorrow.
They don't think about their soul. You see, they lay up great
riches. They dare to lay up, store up
all kinds of things, but yet, I tell you, but not seeking God,
you see, for their soul to be saved. You see, but this certain
rich man, he had everything, and he was just living in luxury,
and he had no time. But they both died, you see.
The Bible said that the beggar died and was carried by the angels
in Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was
buried. And in hell, he lifted up his
eyes, being in torment. And seeing Abraham afar off and
Lazarus in his bosom, now he lifted up his eyes in torment. You see, now the Bible tells
us that our soul has eyes. That's what it's telling us.
We read in the verse before this that they buried him. They buried
his body, but yet he lift his eyes up in hell. That's talking
about his soul, you see, had eyes. You see, he's also, his
soul had remembrance. And we're going to see about
that in a minute. His soul had remembrance, you
see. and all these kind of things, and there he was in hell. This rich man lifted up his eyes
in torment. And the Bible said, and he cried
and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me. Now there's going
to be a lot of people that's going to be crying out, Lord
have mercy upon me, but it's going to be too late. God have
mercy on me, but it's going to be too late. Just like it was
with this rich man. It was too late for him to ask
for mercy, you see. It was too late for him. You
see, you can send away your day of grace, you see. And people
can send away their day of grace. The Bible said, Then he said,
Father Abraham, have mercy on me. Now he woke up, but it was
a little too late. It was a little too late, you see. I tell you,
in his lifetime he had everything. He didn't think he needed God.
He didn't think that he needed anything. He had it all. But
see, he found himself in a place, I tell you, that was in torment.
He found him a place that his money and his riches and his
material things could not get him out of, you see. It couldn't
get him out of any kind of trouble. It couldn't get him out of hell,
you see. But there he was, and then he
would begin to ask for mercy. And I tell you, just like it
was in Noah's days when Noah preached 120 years that God was
going to bring a flood upon this world. God said it repented him
at his own heart. that He made man. You see, they
began to live so sinful and ungodly, you see. And God told Noah to
build an ark. And Noah found grace in the eyes
of God. And he began to build. God gave
him the plans. And he began to build just according
to the plan that God gave him. And there he was. And I tell
you, there was those that laughed at him. There was those that
scorned him. And all these kind of things.
But when the come time, I tell you one day, God said, Noah,
get in the ark. you and your wife and your three
sons and their wives and they get into the ark and God shut
the door and it was shut and closed and no one could open
it. There they were knocking saying,
Noah, let us in. God, help us. Have mercy on us. We see it now. We see it. We
see the rain coming out of heaven. Never seen it before. And here
it comes. I believe now, but yet it was
too late. And I tell you, they lost their soul and they went
to hell. And God have mercy upon this wicked world today, this
old lost world today. I tell you, put it off for another
time and for a better season. The Bible said a more convenient
season one to Paul, then I will call for you, you see. The Bible
talked about King Agrippa and Felix, you see. And the Bible
said that one said, for a more convenient season, I'll call
for you. And one just, I mean, just trembled and the knees knocked
together, you see. And one said, almost I'll persuade
us to be a Christian. I believe that was King Agrippa,
I believe. And I believe Felix had talked about for a more convenient
season, but go and read them. I have them backwards there,
but I tell you, we get the point. But here it was, and this man,
I tell you, the Bible said, he cried and said, Father, have
mercy upon me. And I'll tell you just soon,
Lazarus, that beggar that was begging for my crumbs, I tell
you now I'm begging for Lazarus to come to me. I'm begging for
Lazarus to come with a little water on his finger and put it
on my tongue for I'm tormented in this flame. And you see, the
Bible said, he that seeks to save his life shall lose it,
and he that loses his life shall find it. And that's what he's
talking about. You've got to be willing to give
it all up. You've got to turn to God and repent of your sin
and ask God to have mercy upon you now while you have an opportunity,
while God gives you a time and a place of repentance. You need
to take it and don't put it off because we don't know what tomorrow
may bring forth. And the Bible says in Lazarus
that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue
for I am tormented in this flame. And Abraham had some things to
tell him. He said, But Abraham said, Son,
remember that thou in thy lifetime. Now I take it when he said, Son,
I believe he said it humbly, no doubt. I mean with compassion
upon this rich man that's died and went to hell. God don't rejoice
in a soul that dies and goes to hell. It greased his heart. He sent his son to die for their
sins, you see, and paid an awful price. And God does not take
pleasure in the death of a wicked man and a wicked person, you
see. But God, I tell you, gave his
son that they may have life and have it more abundantly. I tell
you, moreover, the angels in heaven Rejoice over one soul
that repents, you see, but God don't rejoice. But you said,
Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receiveth thy good things
and likewise Lazarus evil things. It's saying, Lazarus didn't have
the opportunity that you had. and have the riches that you
had and so forth, but now he is comforted and thou art tormented. Here you are, you live well,
no doubt. And I tell you, no doubt this
rich man might not have had any kind of disease or sickness,
but just dropped dead. You see, when it come time, when
God said, That's it, that's it. You see, what's more important
than the man wants to die, that's the judgment. We don't know the
time or the punishment that's going to be for us. And I tell
you, it don't have to be straight court to happen either. I tell
you, we could just drop dead, you see. But here it was. He
said, you receive good things. And here it was, Lazarus, he
was, no doubt, he was full of sores and he was sick and he
was just desiring the crumbs, you see. And he said, you receive
good things while I receive evil things. But now he's comforted
and thou art tormented, he said. Now listen, I want you to realize
the difference here. Now Lazarus is comforted and
now the rich man that was lost that trusted in his riches, that
trusted in living his life to the full in this life, was tormented. And beside all this, he said
between us, he said, now listen, in other words, you made your
bed in hell. You made your bed in hell. He
said it humbly. And I'll tell you, that's what
he no doubt was saying. I mean, you put yourself here
because you rejected. I'll tell you whom God had at
your gate. And I tell you, he rejected that. If you reject
God, I tell you, you send yourself to hell. God don't send you to
hell. I tell you, people sin of their own self when they reject
the Lord. You see, when they turn a deaf
ear, when they don't turn to God, but they continue to run
after their fleshly ways. And the Bible said, beside all
of this, He said, between us and you, there is a great goal
fixed. So that they which would pass
from hence to you cannot, and neither can they pass to us that
would come from you." He said, there's no way that Lazarus can
come to you, and there's no way that you can come here. It's
settled, it's over, you see. And that's what he was telling
him. I tell you, like Pastor Reeves always preached, there's
no fire escapes and no exit gates in hell. I tell you, there's
no way out. You see, once the soul leaves
the body, and I tell you, if you're not saying, the Bible
said you'll go to hell. I know this is not a popular
message, but I'm going to preach it, because God said preach it.
And I tell you, people need to hear it. And I tell you, you
need to have some fear about yourself. The Bible said that
there's a great goal fixed. He said it's all over. This is
the getting ready place. This is the time to hear God.
This is the time to pour out your heart and repent. It's right
now while you have your mind, when you can have the ability,
when you can bring your broken heart to God, it's now. It's
not after you die, because after that it's all over. I tell you,
and the Bible said that. That's what we're talking about.
These are God's words, not my words. And He said, between all
this, there is a great gulf fixed so that you cannot pass. You
see, He can't come to you, you can't come to Him. Then He said,
I pray thee therefore, Father, that thou mightest send Him to
my Father's house. Now listen, I was thinking about
this, and He talked about how the ending of Lazarus was much
better than what He had here. You see, the Bible says that
the ending of the matter is better than the beginning of it, you
see. And though in this life we may
suffer as a Christian, and though in this life we may not have
the best it offers, but see, we have a place in heaven. And
we have our treasures in heaven. And we already got a home being
prepared for us. And I tell you, we're in air
and joint air with the Lord Jesus Christ. And I tell you, we have
everything the best, you see. And I tell you, that's what's
so good to me as I read this, knowing that all things work
together for the good for them that love God and called according
to His purpose, you see. And the Bible said, I pray thee
therefore, Father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's
house. Now he asked, first of all, that you send Lazarus to
me and bring some water, just the tip of his finger, and put
it on my tongue and cool my tongue. You see, then he realized he
couldn't come to him. So then he had another prayer. He had another petition that
he asked for. And he said, I ask that you would
send him to my father's house. Send him to my father's house
because I have some brothers that don't want to come to this
place." That's what he said. He said, I have five brethren
that he may testify unto them unless they also come to this
place of torment. I know it's all over for me.
He said, but I got five brethren I love. Here he was in hell.
He still had love, he still had compassion, he still had remembrance,
he still had his eyes, you see, all these things. And he said,
please then, send him to my brothers and tell them not to come here.
And Abraham said unto him, they have Moses and the prophets,
let them hear them. And boy are we living in a time,
and we've been living in this time, where man wants to see
a sign. Give us a sign, something that
we can believe. Let me just see maybe some kind
of a hand in the sky. Let me see as I walk into a room
and the light just comes on. There's just light all around
me, but no light switch has been turned on. I mean, just some
kind of sign people are seeking for and they're looking for someone
like that. But the Bible said there'd be
no sign given except the sign the preaching of Jonas, which
was repair or perish. Same thing that Jesus come forth
saying, and John the Baptist come forth and said, follow me.
Of course, he said, but repair or perish. And I tell you, that's
the sign. But they said that Abraham sent
him. They have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them.
They must hear whom God has sent. If you don't believe it, You
can't get saved. Now if God sent me up to some,
and I tell you they don't hear me, I hope they don't think that
they're going to believe someone else. Because if God sent you,
and I tell you they won't believe if I came, I tell you the Lord
said they have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them.
But I'm no Moses, you see, and I'm not a prophet. I don't consider
myself a prophet, but I tell you, but I am sent by God. And
I tell you, I'm nothing, and I know that, but God gives the
message. You see, but he said, I have Moses and the prophets,
let them hear them. And he said, nay, Father Abraham,
but if one went to them from the dead, they will repent. They
would believe something like that. If they saw that Lazarus,
the one that was sick, and the one, that beggar, if they saw
him, come up out of the grave and be resurrected and come and
spoken unto them, oh, that miracle they saw would cause them to
be saved. No, it would not. If they can't hear this precious
word, the word that God speaks to the heart, you won't believe,
no matter what, you see. And that's what he was saying.
He said, Father, if one went from the dead, they would repent.
And he said unto them, if they hear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
You see, and people seeking for that, some kind of miracle. And
God ain't going to just tackle you down. And God ain't going
to just cause, just overshadow you and just all of a sudden
save you. No. This is something that you'll know when it happens.
You see, just like it was, God bless the last to roll off. Lester
Roloff, when he spoke about Dr. Law and Dr. Grace, and when he
talked about this, when Dr. Grace was going to do the operation,
he said, aren't you going to put me to sleep? Give me something
to put me to sleep. He said, no, I want you to see
what I'm doing for you, and no doubt. And he said Dr. Grace
was cutting out the heart, and the man said, What's that smell? That horrible smell. What is
that? He said, that's your heart. Your heart is wicked. Your heart
is corrupt. And I tell you, it's vile. That's
what smells. And he cut it out. Gave him a
new one, you see. But I tell you, you won't be
in the dark. Just what I'm saying, you will
come to God. with that broken heart on purpose
because the Holy Spirit is there with you. You've heard the Word.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word. And I tell you,
you hear that, you listen to it, and I tell you, you are seeking
Him, and I tell you, you call upon Him with a broken heart
and a contrite spirit. He said, you'll never... I tell
you, He'll save you and never, ever lose you. So, you see, the
Bible said it's impossible but that offenses will come, but
woe unto him whom they come. You see, there's people that
will bring problems and there's people that will bring a stumbling
block and there's people that will trouble, I tell you, God's
people. And I tell you, there's people
that will trouble the little children as well. And the Bible
said it had been better for them that a millstone were hanged
about his neck and cast into the sea, then he should offend
one of these little ones. And take heed to yourselves,
if you rather trespass against me and rebuke him than if he
repents, forgive him, you see. And I tell you, I was reading,
I believe, the book of Ezekiel this morning, and I tell you
what he said, I tell you, he talked about that God was going
to deal with those, you see, that would cause God's people
to be sad. You see, by lying words that
people go and say the things and falsifying things and saying
things they ought not to say about people And it causes God's
people to be sad. And God said, I'm going to deal
with them about their foolishness. And He's going to deal with them.
And God have mercy. Judgment is going to come on
people. They've got to be careful what
they do, you see. And I know God was speaking.
He's speaking to me about that. He's shown me that in several
different places. And I know when he's speaking to me, you
see. And then I see this here tonight
where he talks even better than a millstone would hang to bite
a snake, cast into the sea, that he should offend when these little
ones take heed to yourselves. And he said, if a brother trespasses
against you, rebuke him. He said, against thee, rebuke
him. If he repent, forgive him. He said, but if he trespass against
thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn against
thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him. You see, and
I tell you, even though there's some, I tell you, you try to
do the right thing. The Bible said you do. You go
between and you ask. Have I wronged you? I apologize
if I hurt you or wronged you or offended you or so forth.
And those kind of things. Or maybe somebody's wronged you
and you go to them and so forth. The Bible said to do that. And
it said if they don't hear it, then you can take two others
with you or so and go and speak. If they don't hear that, then
bring them before the church and so forth. And the Lord talked
about that. You see, there's a way of doing
things. And I tell you, but some still
won't hear. And I tell you, but all you can
do is what God tells you to do. But I tell you, but I also want
to... I'll also read to you out of the book of Matthew, and we'll
turn over there, Lord willing, and speak to you about that as
well. And then I'll let you go here
just a moment. My mind's drawn to blank where
it was, but we'll see what we can find here. But speaking of the same subject
matter that we're talking about tonight. What's that? 18? All right. Yes, that's it right there. Alright? And it said, first of all, it
said that at the same time came the disciples to Jesus saying,
who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a
little child unto Him and set Him in the midst of them. And
it said, very like saying to you, except you be converted
and become as little children, you shall not enter into the
kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall hum on himself
as a little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whosoever shall receive one of these little child in my name
receiveth me." He said, but whoso shall offend one of these little
ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone
were hanged about his neck and that he were drowned in the depths
of the sea. It talked about the offenses
will come. And so, woe unto the one that
brings these offenses. And that's the one that brings
a stumbling block. The one that brings trouble.
The ones that brings that kind of thing unto God's people, you
see. And the Bible talked about we
can leap for joy if we've been counted to suffer for the cause
of Christ. But the Bible said, woe unto
those people. And there's people today, and
they go about, and they think it's a joke, and they think it's
funny. They use the Lord's name in vain. They think it's funny
to talk about God or talk about a Christian and make the point
fun or whatever. I tell you, we're living in a
day like that where people, I mean, they hate God. They hate Christians.
And I tell you, we're living in that time. And there is a
war on Christians today. And the Bible said that, that
we're living in a time where the offenses are coming. They are here. And people are
there. And the Bible said, Woe unto
them! It had been better that a millstone hanged about them
and thrown in the sea, and be drowned, you see. Woe to the
world because of offenses, for it must not be that offenses
come, but woe to the man whom the offense cometh. Woe to the
one that brings that offense, or the one that brings the trouble.
Woe unto them! God have mercy. People need to
have some fear about themselves. Wherefore, and this is why I
turned over here. Wherefore if thy hand or thy
foot offend thee, cut them off. and cast them from thee. It is
better for thee to enter into the life halt or maimed, rather
than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting
fire." You'd be better off losing a limb and be saved than you
would to have your best of health like this rich man had, and no
doubt, and lose your soul. That's what he's saying here.
You'd be better off, you see, to be maimed and hauled and all
these kind of things. You'd be better off than to go
to hell with a whole body. That's what he was saying, it
would be better for you to be maimed and those kind of things.
Now, I remember when I was growing up watching, I think it was Little
House on the Prairie, I want to say, and they would have a
little religious stuff in there, but anyhow, they come to a point
where one had a problem and they Opened the Bible and said, cut
it off. I don't know if it was the leg or hand or something
like that. And they were about to cut themselves. And I tell
you, but this scripture is speaking of, I tell you spiritually, I
tell you, but I know we know that, but you'd be surprised
at people. It may not. I mean, but anyway, this Bible
is speaking here of spiritually saying, I mean, anything that
would hinder you from being saved, you got to let it go. You see,
it could be a job. I mean, it could be a companion. I mean, if they're hindering
you, if it's not God's will for you to have that one or what
have you. I tell you, it could be great
riches. You see, it could be some kind of your pride. It could
be sins of all kinds. The Bible said, and we all have
sinned and come short of the glory of God and none righteous,
no, not one. But the Bible said, whatever
it is, you got to be willing to get rid of it. Cast it aside. It's so important. That's why
I was saying, if it's a hand, cut it off. If it's a leg or
two feet, just cut it off. But he's talking spiritually.
And if the eye of Fendi, pluck it out. Cast it from thee. It's better. I mean, what's your
eyes on? What are you seeking? I tell you, if you want to be
saved, what are you seeking above God? I tell you, you've got to
seek Him above everything else and want Him above everything
else and nothing else. And I promise you, you won't
lose anything that you're supposed to have, that God sees as needful
for you. You'll have it, you see. But
the things you don't need, need to be falling off of you. It
just hinders you. They're weights and they... I
tell you, God don't save you, you see. He saves you... from
your sin, you see. And I'll tell you, other words,
you come to God a sinner, you repent, He'll forgive you of
the sin, and I'll tell you, you'll be born a brand new creature.
You'll be born to the family and household of God. You see,
you become a brand new creature in Christ. If they have eye of
sin, you pluck it out. and cast it from thee. It is
better for thee to enter with one eye rather than having two
eyes cast into hell fire. Pray, King, that you despise
not these little ones. For I say unto you that in heaven
their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is
in heaven. For the Son of Man has come to
save that which was lost. That's the reason why He's come,
to come to save the lost. Because there wasn't any saved.
There wasn't any righteous. He come to seek the saved which
was lost. How think ye, if a man have a
hundred sheep that went astray, would he not go? If one went
astray, would he not go and find that one, leave the ninety-nine,
and go find the one that was lost, he said? And the Bible
said here, and he said, he rejoiced more over that one sheep than
the ninety-nine which went not astray. You remember the fact
when the prodigal son left and he went down and he spent all
of his living, you know his inheritance that he His father gave him he
said father. I'm grown now. I'm ready. Give
me my inheritance. I'm going on I'm a grown and
I know better and all this stuff and thought he had friends and
so forth but he went and wasted all of it that he had and There
he was And then he had one son that was there and been with
him. And I tell you, when his son came, when he saw him, the
one that was lost, he was found. He was blind, but now he's seen.
He said, kill the fatty calf, put the ring on his finger, and
so forth. And the other brother said, I've
been with you all this time, and I didn't waste mine. And
I didn't go spend my time with whores and so forth and all these
things. And you killed a fatty calf for
him. He said, but son, you've always,
you see, and the Bible speaks here that he loves everyone,
but yet when there's one soul that repents, I tell you, he
rejoices over that. And he rejoices over us too,
but I tell you, but that one that was lost, you see, I tell
you, the Lord rejoices and so do I when I know someone's been
saved. It makes my heart rejoice, you see. Even so it is, not the
will of your Father which is in heaven that one of these little
ones should perish. It's not God's will that any
should perish, but all should come unto repentance. And then
it goes on talking about your brother trespassed against you
and so forth. You can go read that. But I feel
like the Lord wanted us to share this and open this up. You know,
we speak about these things, but it's good for us to be able
to open the Word of God and for you to follow line upon line
and from verse to verse to see what Jesus is saying. Jesus spoke
these words. And I tell you, so I'm just doing
what I'm supposed to do to give you what Jesus said. And I tell
you, if you'll listen to Him, I tell you, you'll be so glad
that you did. I tell you, now the devil, he'll
work on you. You may have good intentions,
you've heard this, and I tell you, I mean, you want to be saved,
and you're really seeking, wanting to be saved. And I tell you,
but as you'll go and leave, the devil, you know, you'll start
losing some of your desire. You say, but just, if the Lord's
dealing with you now, this is the time right now to be saved.
Time to come to the altars. Time to pour out your heart before
God. Go home and pray as well. But
I want you to bow your head with me. The altar is open, so please
come. I tell you, seek the Lord with
all your heart. Seek Him with all your heart. And I tell you,
you'll be found. I tell you, He's there. He's
not a lost God. You're the one that's lost. You see? But God
cannot come and just overwhelm you and come in your heart until
you invite Him in. You see? You've got to receive
Him. And the Bible says if you'll do that, then I tell you, He'll
forgive you of your sin. Alright, we're going to go ahead
and close out. Brother Jordan, if you would, brother, please close
us out here. And as he's praying, I mean pray.
Pray through. I mean this could be the last
night for every one of us. We don't know. But one thing
you can know, if the Lord came tonight, where are you going?
Where are you going to spend eternity? So call on Him. And if you want to get your heart
right, the same thing. We don't have to get saved again.
He only saves us one time. When He does something, He does
it right. He perfects us and He seals us with His Holy Spirit.
And nothing can break that seal. But we sure can grieve Him. And
I tell you, when we grieve Him, we're grieved and we're miserable.
And I tell you, we got to get it right. And He's there waiting
for us, too. God said, come back to Bethel and renew your vows. I mean, you told the Lord you'd
live for Him. You told Him that you would be
faithful to Him. You told Him that you would.
If He saved my soul, Lord, I'd live for you and I'd win souls.
Lord, help me. And I tell you, the Lord said,
come back to Bethel, renew your vows, get your heart right with
Him. He'll restore you in the fellowship. I tell you, He'll
send you out and use you. And I tell you, when you pray,
I tell you, He'll hear your prayer. And I tell you, souls will get
dealt with, and people will find mercy because, you know, the
Bible said, blessed are those that, that others are merciful,
they shall obtain mercy. But you see, we that are saved,
God gave us mercy, and we're to give it forward. And we're
to pray for souls and labor over them. Go ahead, brother Jordan,
and close us out, please.
