Heavenly Father, thank you for those who have gathered together here this evening to receive your precious and valuable word, your precious and magnificent promises, whereby we become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption which is in the world through lust. Magnify the person of Christ in our midst, our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, The one in whom alone is salvation, for there is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. That salvation goes way beyond just eternal salvation. It goes into the realm of protection, deliverance, the solving of every problem, the answering of every question, mental stability, well-being of soul, prosperity in every realm. That is for those who cast themselves upon you, Father. For without faith, it's impossible to please you. And faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Father, may we hear and believe the word that we received this evening. taught to us, not by man, but by the Holy Spirit, beneath the surface, between the lines, and even above the consciousness. He's the one who is our divine teacher, who longs after us in order to teach us, who yearns to give us the good things, your highest and best things, that you've intended for each and every one of us. Father, we just pray that the Word of God will sink down deep into our souls, and that it would be memorable, it would be very relevant, memorable, and even unforgettable this evening as you answer our questions, ones we don't even know that we have, as the explanation Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. I'm entitled to message the day God died on the cross. You say God didn't die on the cross, Jesus did. Well, who do you think Jesus is? He's God. God in the flesh. He had to become a man so he could die. So he could suffer and die. It's Friday Night Live. Friday, July 28, 2017. There's a couple verses here to introduce our subject. First one is Acts 20, 28. which says, Paul the Apostle is talking to the Ephesians, he's gathering them together, he says, I'm never gonna see your face again, and they were all very sad, because he knew what lay ahead for him in Jerusalem, and that he would eventually be imprisoned, and have the opportunity to speak to the highest government officials, and to proclaim the gospel from a prison cell, which would be perpetuated throughout the whole Roman Empire. So Acts 20, 28. Be on your guard for yourselves and for all the flock among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. He's talking to those who were pastors of the local churches. To shepherd the church of God which he purchased with his own blood. Whose blood? The blood of God. The blood of Christ. Now God the Father doesn't have blood, he's spirit. But Jesus Christ is God and he has blood. He's divine in you. He's the God-man, undiminished deity, and sinless humanity, seamlessly welded together in his unique person. We'll talk a little bit about that this evening. So first let's establish who Christ is. Let's be reminded of who we're dealing with. in order that we all might give him his due, that is, due honor and respect. In Colossians 115, he is the creator and the manifest visible image of God, the manifest glory of God in all creation. Colossians 115 says, and he is the visible image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, that's the word prototokos, It doesn't mean firstborn. It means first in order to rank in importance over all things and beyond all things. Existing before anything else ever existed. He was only born through the process of his incarnation as God the Father created 23 perfect male chromosomes and implanted them in the virgin wolf non-sexually by the Holy Spirit to bring forth the humanity of Christ. born perfect, trichotomous, a complete human being, with a body, with a soul, and with a spirit, like Adam was created. But Adam fell, and Jesus never did. Adam fell in paradise. Jesus prevailed under the most difficult circumstances, and arrived at the cross impeccable, never sinned once in thought, word, or deed. Imagine that. Hard to imagine, isn't it? He's the visible image of the invisible God. He is the firstborn of all creation, for by Him all things were created. By who? By Christ, all things were created. Both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible. Whether thrones, dominions, or rulers, or authorities, that's the angelic spheres. All things have been created by Him, not only by Him, but for Him, for His will. And he is before all things. And in him all things consist or are held together. He is also head of the body of the church. Remember he said, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Matthew 18, 16. Well, that's what he's saying here too. He's the head, the father. He's the CEO. CFO, COO, the founder of the church. He's the author and finisher of faith. So he's before all things, and in him all things hold together. He's the head of the body of the church, and he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, first one that ever rose from the dead, never to die again. So that he himself might have first place in everything. You say, well, do I give him first place in everything? Well, we're certainly supposed to. Do we? no not always that's for sure but he's worthy of having first place in everything for it was the father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in him what's it mean the fullness that means the full expression and the full manifestation of deity of the father son and spirit and i'll show you that also in colossians so it says that through him to reconcile all things to himself having made peace through the blood of his cross. Through him I say whether things on earth or things in heaven, and although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, remember when you were? Engaged in evil deeds, yet he has now reconciled you in his fleshly body, he had to put on a body of flesh in order to do so, through death, in order to present you before him wholly blameless and without reproach. Romans 8.29 talks about it. Colossians 1.15 talks about it. Hebrews 1.6 says that he is the exact imprint of the Father. And also in Romans 14.4 he says, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father, for the Father and I are exactly alike. We don't picture Jesus that way, do we? Not normally. We picture him as being different than the Father, and he's not different at all in his essence, his nature, and his character. Colossians 2.9 says, for in him, in Christ, all the fullness of deity, that's the triunity or trinity, Father, Son, and Spirit, dwells in him in bodily form. So he's undiminished deity and perfect humanity. He envelops the concept of the triune God, God in three persons. He's light, he's life, and he is love. The Bible says that God is life, God is life, and God is love. 1 John 4, 10, 8, 10, and 16. He's the Ancient of Days, according to Daniel 7, 9, 13, and 22. Daniel says, I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His vesture was like white snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. You say, well, how do you know this is Jesus that he's talking about? because this is re-quoted in Revelation chapter 1 verse 9. His head and his hair were white like the moon. And his feet like burnished bronze. And it says next, it says, his throne was ablaze with flames. Its wheels were a burning fire. Ezekiel talks about the wheel within the wheel. And the burning chariot throne that carries him throughout the heavens. The wheels are angels that transport among us magnificent throne that moves in all directions at the same time without ever changing, you know, it doesn't have to change direction. It goes forward and backward at the same time. It goes up and down at the same time. Strange, prophetic picture of Christ. He stands outside of time and space. And the principles of physics don't apply to the eternal spheres. He says, I kept looking into night visions, verse 13, and behold, with the clouds of heaven, one like the son of man, looked like a man, was coming, and he came up to the ancient of days and was presented before him. Until the ancient of days came, the judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the highest one, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. That'll be a wonderful day. So, he's the one who walked with Adam early each morning in the garden, the garden of Eden. He's the one who appeared to Moses in the burning bush and told Moses what his name is. His name is Yahweh, or to anglicize it, Jehovah, which means I am or I exist. So Moses was the first Jehovah witness. His name's Jehovah, he told him. The ones today don't even know who he is. They think Jehovah's God, the Father. Jehovah's Jesus Christ everywhere. It's his Lord in the Old Testament. It's Christ who's in view Granted it's in his pre-incarnate Existence before he became a man Which he became once and for an hour a man for perpetuity not for just a few years not just for 33 and a half years And deity seated upon the throne of the universe so In Exodus 6-3 it says, And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them, until he revealed me to Moses. That came after Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Psalm 83-18, That men may know that you, whose name alone is Jehovah, are the most high over all the earth. Isaiah 12 to behold God is my salvation I have to trust not be afraid for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song he also has become my salvation Isaiah 26 for trust in the Lord forever for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength Isaiah said in Isaiah 9 6 a child was born of us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulders and he goes on to give him titles or to describe who he would be what he would do Isaiah said he was a child born that means he came into the world came into being as the rest of us did through conception gestation and birth from the body of a woman yet he goes on to describe him as a son given one who existed before without beginning of life or end of days without a mother or a father of course God was his father this one Isaiah proclaims to Israel and the world would be called He said, wasn't he a soccer player? Well, it's the same word. It means wonderful, full of mystery, and hard to understand. It certainly is a strange and wonderful tale that God became a man and was born like everyone else. Then he said, he'll be wonderful counselor. Counselor is Y-A-S. Y-A-A-S. Yes! Means advisor, planner, strategist. So, what is he? He's an extraordinary strategist. You say, I don't understand his plan in my life. That's because he's an extraordinary strategist. He knows what you need. You don't care what you want. He knows what you need. And he's about the business of accomplishing his will in your life. By things you would never choose, but things he's chosen for you. so that you might require him, even desperately require him, and how blessed you are if you do. So, don't look down upon your difficult circumstances, because they're going to make you in the end. You trust God. They won't break you, they'll make you in the end. God will do it. He'll see to it. So, then he's called, then he calls him the mighty God, Gaborah, and he's powerful without an equal. Gaborah. You have Gaborah, you have power. beyond any other. And God, L-E-L, which means supernatural being. Then he calls him Everlasting Father. Everlasting is Ad, eternally existent. Father Ab, father originated. And then Prince of Peace, Prince of Sorrow, chief ruler with absolute power and authority. Then of Peace is Shalom. Shalom means peace, mental health, wellness of body and soul and prosperity in every world. So who is like him? This child born, this son given. Next he says, and the government shall rest on his shoulders. That means he is the source of life, the creator and sustainer of the material universe, as well as the controller of human history. Coming into human history to define it, to define it, and that he has done and will continue to do. So consider this, man is made, said to be made in his image and likeness in Genesis 1.26. Then God said, let us, he's talking about more than one, right? Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness in 1.27. And God created man in his own image. And in the image of God, he created him male and female. He created them. This is the key to understanding the triunity that God is. Look at yourself and see the image and likeness of God. Granted, it's marred by sin. It's not a glass of water, some people say. This is how you understand the Trinity. A glass of water that is an outward container that holds two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen in the water, in the makeup of water. As some attempt to explain it, but rather as a triunity. That is, Adam is created in the image or form in which Jehovah, who is Jesus Christ, before his incarnation, appeared predating his incarnation. Though indeed, he took on humanity in his incarnation. He always appeared as a man, the image that originated with him as the archetype or pattern from which the physical being of man fashion. Inwardly, he was made like God with invisible essence with intelligence, rationale, intuition, creativity, volition, moral sensibilities, able to think, plan, articulate, choose, discriminate, discover, and investigate. He was also made to perceive the unseen realm to know and experience the eternal and invisible realities that underlie the physical and temporal universe and continuum. By the five senses man was given, he's able to experience the physical universe and his physical environment. Touch, taste, sight, smell, and sound. And like the spirit of God, man would possess a spiritual essence in order that he might sustain a relationship with invisible God by recognizing and appreciating the invisible in addition to the physical. His life in its three dimensions is the life of God, the very life of God. Without it, he's no more than a man made out of earth or clay. And in Genesis 2, 7, it says, the Lord God formed man out of dust from the earth and breathed into his nostrils, literally the breath of life, Biological life, psychological life, and spiritual life. Three dimensions. Man was designed to try cause, even as God is a trinity. And man became a living being. Man is alive by the breath of God. He can only experience life in all of his wholeness by the God-breathed word. That's 2 Timothy 3.16. It says, all scripture is inspired, or he says it here, but it's theonoustos, which means God-breathed. Man does not live by bread alone, Deuteronomy 8, 6, Matthew 4, 4, Luke 4, 4, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, that is, breathed out by God. All scripture is God breathed, 2 Timothy 3, 16. In order to really live, we must inhale that which God has exhaled. Breathe in what God has breathed out. That's your life, is the word of God. The Word of God is the breath of God, exhaled by the Holy Spirit, the air we breathe, that sustains real life, that is, the full experience of life of Jesus, called Abundant Life. The bread we eat that satisfies our hunger and nourishes our inner man, the water that cleanses the soul and quenches our thirst, all of that is what the Word of God is. Without the Living Word, man is dead while he lives, spiritually dead, and dying by inches. since everything material exists by the Word of God. You say, what's that mean? Well, read Hebrews 11, 6. It'll tell you all about that. Everything consists of nothing more than the spoken Word of God, the Rehmatah. He spoke it into existence. He created ex nihilo out of nothing except His all-powerful Word and sustains it by the Word of His power. Everything material exists by the Word of God. Man's life, real life, real and actual happiness, depends upon the Word of God. By the way, Jesus is the Word of God. Therefore, we live because of Him. He's our life. He gave us life and is our life. In John 1-9, He's the light of life. He lit every man born into the world with the light of the moral conscience and the knowledge of God. Colossians 3, 4. With Christ who is our life, shall fear, and we'll fear with Him even more. By His death, He received on our behalf the wages of sin to pay the penalty of broken righteousness, and by His resurrection, He brought us to life. Those who believe, never to die again. Romans 6, 23. The gift of God is eternal life. The wages of sin is death. He paid the wages. Jesus is God incarnate, the bread of life, the breath of life, the light of life, the visible spectrum of life. by whom we know God. You don't know God apart from Jesus Christ. God is actinic, right? Every ray of light has three rays. And this is also a accredited or an authorized format for understanding the Trinity. It says, God is like 1 John 1, 5. And God is actinic light. Every ray of light has three rays. It has actinic light, which is light that can't be seen or felt and is invisible and powerful, like gamma rays, like radiation that can neither be seen or felt. Calorific light that can't be seen yet eats the earth. And luminiferous light that illuminates the eyes to see God in living color. by the person of Christ, who is God in the flesh. You remember the days of black and white TV? I remember watching The Ed Sullivan Show on Sunday night, and there was the Beatles in black and white. In this respect, the Old Testament, or the law, revealed God to mankind in black and white. Whereas the New Testament presents God in brilliant color, The word is polon poikilos, which means in all of the tints and tones of beautiful color. In the person of Christ, who is the visible and colorful presentation of God, Jesus is God Almighty, the same one who hung and died on the cross for you and me. In order to fulfill all righteousness and to satisfy the demands of justice on our behalf, in order to suffer, in order to bleed, and die in order to atone for the sins of mankind. God had become a man. All the lambs, rams, and bullocks in the world that were commanded by the law, Levitical law, the law of sacrifice, would not and could not get the job done. The sacrifices commanded and offered according to the sacrificial law of Leviticus was black and white TV. It would take real red blood God's own blood, to pay the wages of sin by the death that he died on that day, the day God died on the cross. Not someone else, not someone other than the one true God, but God himself suffered, bled, breathed out his last breath, and expired. When the soldier attending his crucifixion saw that he was already dead as he came to break the legs to hasten the death of the others. And by the way, crucifixion was death by suffocation. When the soldier attending his crucifixion saw he was already dead, he made sure that it was so and thrust the spear under his ribs in through the pericardium, it's a sac that surrounds the heart, which was infused with blood and the lungs congested and filled with fluid, which John saw and reported as indisputable forensic. That only happens in death. John 19, 28. After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I am thirsty. A jar full of sour wine was standing there. So they put a sponge full of sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it up to his mouth. When Jesus, therefore, had received the sour wine, he said, it is finished. bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. The Jews, therefore, because it was the day of preparation for the Passover, when he's the Passover lamb, of course, so that the body should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath, when the Sabbath was a holiday, asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, that they might be taken away. The soldiers, therefore, came and broke the legs of the first man, not the other man, who was crucified with him, but coming to Jesus when they saw that he was already dead. They did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water. And he who has seen it has borne testimony." John was in the disciples, he was near the cross. The others all ran away, they were all scared that they would be implicated with it. It says that, "...he who has seen this has borne witness, and his witness is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe." For these things came to pass, that the scripture might be fulfilled, not a bone of him shall be broken. And again, another scripture says, they shall look on him whom they pierced. And after these things, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus from a secret one, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus, and Pilate granted permission. He came, therefore, and took away his body, and Nicodemus came also. who had first come to him by night. Remember Nicodemus came to Jesus by night? And Jesus told him, you must be born again. Well, Nicodemus got born again, for sure. Nicodemus came at night. Nicodemus, the one who had come to him by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds weight. And so they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with spices. as is the burial custom of the Jews. Now in the place where he was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden, a new tomb, in which no one had yet been laid. Therefore, on account of the Jewish day of preparation, because the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there. So God is life and God is love also. In Romans 5, 6, while we were still helpless, at just the right time, Christ died. for the good people, for the ungodly people, those who couldn't care less who he was or what he did. He died for all of us equally. Not one of us has been excluded. For one will hardly die for a righteous man, another perhaps for a good man. Some of them wouldn't even dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love toward us and that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. much more than, having now been justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God, through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. I'll tell you what that means in a minute. And not only this, but we also exalt in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. So what can we do? Where do we go from here? What does this love mean for us well Paul says it like this in 2nd Corinthians 5 14 for the love of Christ compels us or controls us having concluded this that one died for all therefore all died and he died for all that they who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died and rose again on their behalf therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet we do so no longer. Therefore, if any man is in Christ, this is such an important verse, he is a brand new creature. You say, well, I don't feel like one. You are one. God said it, so it must be so. The old things passed away. Well, some of the old things remain. As far as God's concerned, they passed away. Christ took them away. Behold, new things have come to take their place. Now all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Namely, listen to this, that God was in Christ. Where? Hanging on the cross. The day that God died on the cross. God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting men's trespasses. against them. No, he was charging and blaming them on Christ as our substitute who bore in his body all of our sins to the Zulon, that is the wood of the tree of the cross. Not counting men's sins against them, and he's committed to us the word of reconciliation, that's the gospel. Therefore we're ambassadors for Christ, every single one of us. as though God were entreating through us, we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God, for he made him who knew no sin, to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in him. This is something God has done, not something we did. Love is the objective, and yet we're not capable of loving unseen God. So God became a man to fully demonstrate God's love. To settle the question forever, God died on the cross. Those who doubt his love because of difficult circumstances have missed the great fact that God endured far greater suffering than anyone else ever will because he loved the world of mankind so much. John 3 16. By his sacrifice he paid the penalty price and wages of sin which is death by dying as our substitute that he might pardon one and all who need only reach out and take the free gift of eternal life that he purchased with his precious blood. Circumstances of life and the difficulties that are appointed all of us and appointed for all of us to face are the means by which we recognize our needs without them you wouldn't need it. And plead to him and seek our refuge from life's storms in his word and in his promises of deliverance and preservation. Not only has he borne our sins and forgiven us for all things by his death, but ever lives to intercede on our behalf that he might save us, preserve us, and protect us from the world, the flesh, and the devil, and bring us safely home in the end. Never fear. He says, I am here. It's not one day of one year in your life. This is not so. Therefore, 365 times in the scripture, one for each day, he tells us, fear not. You don't have to be afraid of anything. Therefore, we're saved by his death and preserved by his life and intervention in order that we might overcome by faith the many difficulties that are in our way. and in the end proclaimed his faithfulness and love that he has for all of us. The only thing that you must do, the only thing that he requires is trust, which he provides as well. That is by his love letters that contain 7,000 bonuses. How many have you claimed this week? A couple? Those are 7,000 of them. You need to find them, claim them, make them your own. none of which he fails to fulfill. The problem that we have is that we don't know them and therefore can't claim them, but instead attempt to affect our own deliverance, which negates his. We forget that God died on a cross for us and will along the way provide everything we need to overcome the adversity and difficulty that every one of us must face in life. Turn to Romans 8.31. you have your Bible, and if you don't have your Bible, why not? It's a Bible study. Romans 8 31. What then shall we say to these things? Talk about all of the magnificent benefits that he provided for us in Christ's beautiful finished work, accomplishment of salvation on the cross. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, and indeed he is, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son, but rather delivered him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, freely give us everything else that we need? See, his name is I Am, and he is everything that you'll ever need. How will we not also with him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God's the one who justifies. He's the one who declares you righteous by faith in Christ. Who's the one who condemns? Certainly not Him. Christ Jesus is He who died as your substitute. Yes, rather, who was raised from the dead for your justification. Who's at the right hand of God? Who also intercedes for us? He doesn't condemn you. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? troubles of all kind, or distress, that's being in tight places, too small for it, claustrophobic, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sorrow, just as it is written, for your sake we're being put to death all day long, we're considered the sheep to be slaughtered. No! But in all these things, we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. Him who loved us, the one who died, God who died on the cross. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature or created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." That's a magnificent passage of scripture, don't you think? There's nowhere else to go, no one else to rely on, nothing else will work. Acts 412, there's salvation in no one else. For there's no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Indeed, Jesus is Jehovah Yahweh, Lord God and Savior. The only one you can come to or go to for that which he alone provides. But he came in living color to give us eternal life by his death on the cross, an abundant life by his precious and magnificent promises, that by them we might become partakers of his very own nature, the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Having and claiming these promises, certified by the greatest act of love ever performed on earth, we can live confidently and courageously, knowing the one in whom we have belief, fully persuaded that he is able, And perform that which He promised, and keep us, and keep us safe to the very end. In the meantime, what do we do? The only thing we must do is to hear and believe His Word. There's nothing else to do. Oh, you can do other things, but none of them mean anything unless they come from that source of power and life in the Word. In the meantime, all we do is hear and believe His Word, fully experience certain certainties that he's given us to live on until he comes forth. Be bold and courageous. Live large. Live life to the fullest as you wait for him, expecting his arrival each and every day. You know what? It's my opinion, educated opinion, that the real possibility of this coming in our lifetime is very large. I'm counting on it. You say, what if it doesn't happen? So what? I'm counting on it. Titus 2.11, for the grace of God has appeared in the person of Christ, bringing salvation, offering it to all men, and instructing us, those who believe, to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live sensibly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope, and soon appearing in the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Verse of the Bible, Revelation 22, 20 and 21. Come Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. That's a great benediction, isn't it? Amen, we're done. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the word of God. May these things sink down deep into our souls and may we rely upon them, may we remember them. And Father, may this become a living reality in each soul. Through the mundane things, the everyday things of life. Not just in difficult times, Father, but every single day. Walking by means of the Spirit. Which means step by step. Every step of the way. Not sometimes for some things, but all the time for everything. Father, show us how to live that way. Because that indeed is life. That is that which is life indeed. It's that kind of life. And trusting it. unhappiness and the love that you pour into our hearts is shed abroad received and reciprocated going forth in all directions so that we can be ambassadors also of Christ and make our plea as though God is making his plea through us be reconciled God is favorably disposed toward all mankind because of what Christ did. When he died on the cross, the day God died on the cross, Jesus Christ, who is God of every God, Yahweh himself, the eternally existing one, in conscious distinction to all others, no one else is what he is. As God could do and has done what he has done. So we worship you, Lord Jesus Christ, in spirit and in truth. And Father, you seek true worshipers that will do so by the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit that you've sent to indwell us, to fill us, to teach us, to guide us in the paths of righteousness for His namesake, for the namesake of Jesus. Father, we know that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Yahweh. He's Lord. Here we are. To the glory of God, the Father, for your glory, Father. There's no competition between the members of the Trinity. No competition in the church between believers. as we treasure the word of God in our hearts. For it is the most valuable, precious, and rare commodity on the earth. Very few people have it in their treasure chest. It's the thesaurus, the word treasure. If you put 31,000 verses in the word of God, all of which you require us to hear and believe, not to learn or to memorize, but to hear, with to affirm for our own soul's well-being and to accomplish your great purpose in time so that we might be lovers of God and inherit the kingdom which you prepared for those who love you.
