Jonah's Complaint & God's Compassion

God's wayward prophet, like us, complains when there is, especially in his case, so much to rejoice about. Prejudicial attitudes are certain joy-stealers and fellowship-restrainers. Saints are miserable when they are out of fellowship with God. Yet, God initiates our recovery as He did with Jonah, though recovery could have been sooner had Jonah cast aside and repented of his prejudice. May God help us to toss our sin behind us and go forward in sweet fellowship with Him.
