What does the Far Country represent then, and where is that place? Can we really be far from God?

Answer: The Far Country represents not only a geographic place which we may go to, to get away from loving and concerned parents and friends, but it is also the secret place which we go to when we want to hide ourselves and our sin from them. And we also often falsely and frequently think that God does not see when we go there.
