Just for Women. Listen to Mrs. Waite speak from her heart to
your need. Pause a moment and care. Just
for Women is an unusual broadcast for women in the midst of a crooked
and perverse generation. Yvonne Waite deals biblically
with the many issues facing women today. The Bible tells the older
women to speak the things which become sound doctrine. teach
the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love
their children, to be discreet, keepers at home, good, obedient
to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Listen now to Mrs. Waite speaking
just for women. Hi, girls. I feel that I should
talk to you a little bit about Michael Jackson. I don't know
much about him personally. I couldn't whisper anything,
any of his songs, sing any of his songs. I wouldn't recognize
them if I heard them. I've heard them now that since
he died, but I could not pull up from my memory any of his
songs. I guess I've just been in another land when Michael
Jackson was our king of King of Pop. Of course, I'm not much
into that anyhow. David Bennett from Australia
has written the king is dead the headline proclaims the king
is dead of course the headline was referring to the death of
Michael Jackson the internet news site regurgitated for several
days Jackson's death and repeated remarks by those who knew him
and those who only knew about him awaiting Michael Jackson's
burial which today he hasn't been buried yet and this has
been quite a while since he died and for a few days after the
news will be talking about his life and his music and who knows
what else until one becomes almost nauseated of it all. I feel for
his mother I want you to know this because I had a son die
and I know what it's like and just because Michael Jackson
was Michael Jackson doesn't mean that Mrs. Jackson did not love
him as a son and I feel for the family that lost him and it was
so sudden my son died very suddenly I was talking to a woman the
other day whose daughter died a few months after my son did
and she said she went in her room and there she was dead.
Just sudden like that and that's the same thing I guess with Michael
Jackson. Some people have long suffering deaths and other people
die quickly. David Claude has written in his
Friday Church News in December, I mean rather I don't know how
I got December in there, July 3rd, Michael Jackson's legacy. Michael Jackson, the king of
pop, died last week of a probable drug-induced heart attack at
age 50. Like Elvis Presley and many other rock gods, Jackson
was addicted to a variety of drugs and his narcissism would
not allow him to submit to any authority outside of himself.
Jackson's influence was great. His music videos helped vault
MTV into popularity in the early 1980s. His 1982 hit Thriller
is either the first or second best-selling U.S. album of all
time. His quirky and yet filthy dance moves helped spawn hop-pop
and have been imitated endlessly in contemporary dance. Choreographer
Kenny Ortega called him the world's greatest performer. Guinness
World Records dubbed him the most successful entertainer of
all time. The incredible fascination with Michael Jackson's death
is indicative of the moral downfall of Western culture. This is David
Cloud talking. Major websites such as Facebook,
MySpace, Google, and Twitter slowed following the announcement
of his death because of the dramatic increase in traffic. USA Today,
America's largest daily newspaper, dedicated nearly the entire front
page of the pop icon's death. Major news media's outlet ran
24-hour coverage on every aspect of the man's life and death.
Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Nobles, and other major distributors
sold out Jackson's music, CDs, and videos within an hour of
the announcement of his passing. In an attempt to explain this,
Bill Carr, vice president for music and video at Amazon said,
they love him. He's a legend and they're anxious
to make sure that they have his music in their collection. Jackson
is an icon of the rock and roll culture and his legacy was to
carry modern society to a new level of debauchery and vanity. He was self-centered, lacked
self-control and had no moral boundaries, was enslaved to fashion
and consumed with appearance. He squandered a fortune. Though
he sold 750 million albums, he reportedly died with a debt of
400 million. Because he lived so far beyond
his means, Jackson's life further normalized weirdness and perversions
in modern society. As Jane Fonda said in an interview
with CNN about Jackson's life, who are we to judge? The rebellion
against God and his word grows at pace, but it will come back
to a shocking end. We read that in Psalm 2. The
ranch that the King of Pop purchased in the 1980s was called Neverland.
And that was not only the place where Michael Jackson lived,
it was also a place where the modern pub culture dwells. Well,
I don't understand this phenomenon of Michael Jackson. I asked my
dentist. I went to the dentist. I'm having
some work done on my teeth. And I said, well, he had all
that stuff in my mouth. I said, talk to me about Michael
Jackson. He said, you usually want me to talk to you about
my fish. I said, I know, but I want to do a program on Michael
Jackson. And I don't understand why this is such a big thing. I'm sorry he died. even though
I didn't know him and I feel for his mother and especially
for his mother and his brothers and sister and father but what
about him? So he said don't listen to his
words don't listen to his voice just watch his moves well I've
done that but I don't understand I still do not understand but
then maybe because dancing isn't my big thing maybe because all
this pop stuff I don't understand because I do know about hymns
and gospel songs Because I didn't understand I asked a friend of
mine, Rob Winograd, I said would you write some things down about
Michael Jackson because I don't know anything about him and I
want to do a program. I feel that anybody that has
taken so much television coverage, so much of the news, everybody
is crying over him, everybody is going to miss him, but me
I guess, I mean I hope you understand I'm not trying to make fun of
this man or of his parents but I just don't understand this.
So I said, Rob, would you please write some things down for me?
So he did, and I'm going to read you what Rob wrote to me. Mrs. Waite wanted me to give a few
words on Michael Jackson and the obsession with him and his
death. I'm no expert on Michael, but I am a contemporary, so I
understand a little the allure and aura of his personality and
music. Michael came from the scene of the 1960s as a young
boy singing with his older brothers in the Jackson Five. The songs
were love ballads and bubblegum pop music with relatively innocent
songs like ABC. with a Motown backbeat. I didn't
listen much to Michael Jackson, says Rob, as I was into what
would be considered not so innocent rock and roll like the Rolling
Stones, who did songs like Sympathy for the Devil and many other
vile songs. This was before Rob was a Christian.
Let's see, where did I last stop? I looked up and let's see, rock
and roll, back and listen. Okay, I was, okay, Sympathy for
the Devil and many other vile songs. I think Michael shared
his innocent image with the release of Thriller album and DVD in
the early 80s which went on to be one of the top of all time
selling albums ever in music recording history. Michael had
become famous for his slick moonwalk dance before I think Thriller.
After the time of Thriller his dancing became graphically suggestive
where he would grab his crotch and simulate nude and vulgar
acts. This was a time that MTV had
become very popular and was a conditioner to soften up the viewing public.
The allure of fame seemed to consume the masses. Michael became
more and more famous. The spirit of the age knows how
to attract the masses. Yes, it does. Michael's worldly
attraction of fame and fleshly appeal in his music and dance
attracted and captured the masses. Michael's foray into the MTV
video world made him the king of pop. As Michael's fame grew,
his music and lifestyle took on a devious nature. Violence
was incorporated into his music. It seems he was a trendsetter
for hip-hop and gangsta, music that typifies the rebellion today
and idolizing self, drug use, debasement of women, killing
cops, etc. His lifestyle seemed to degenerate
as his music became cruder as time went on, culminating in
his child molesting. I can't get that word out. pedophilia
there it is charges of a young boy and the sleeping over of
young boys at his Neverland Castle playground I guess he was like
Peter Pan he never grew up and was immensely rich seems the
masses wanted that too Michael was obsessed with other dead
stars like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley and eventually
even married Elvis daughter Lisa Marie it was rumored that the
marriage was never consummated and yet with all this coverage
I heard that it was so who knows I wasn't there Rob goes on to
say another dead star he idolized was Liberace. Here is a part
of an article on his infatuation with Liberace that took him into
the occult. Some claim to know the future,
are in touch with the dead and even possess the power of spiritual
healing. For example, pop star, megastar
Michael Jackson claims that he inwardly communicates with flamboyant
pianist Lee Liberace who died in 1987. He said, I have my own
secret room with a moving wall and mirrors of Jackson. That's
where I talk to Lee. He is the voice I hear in there.
I feel his presence so very close to me. He added that Liberace
is like my guardian angel. He's even given me permission
to record his theme song, I'll Be Seeing You. Satanist Aleister
Crowley had his own secret room too, says Rob. Michael Starfaro
also had him doing the video, We Are The World, with many other
big stars who typify the new age humanist globalist ecumenical
mindset that permeates the world today. It is nothing more than
a rebellion against God and typifies the disillusional spirit of the
last days leading to an illusional one, world utopia brought in
by the Antichrist. I think Michael's beginning seems
innocent enough. That is the subtlety of the devil.
Kind of like the frog in the pot to be boiled. When I was
into hardcore rock and roll, at least there was no obscuring
the line. I knew it wasn't innocent. So no, Michael has died tragically.
People still clamor over Elvis. This will be just one more vain
idolizing of a figure that did it his way. He was measured by
worldly means in money and fame. Matthew 6.27 says, which of you
by taking thought can add one cubit into a statue? Stature. Mark 8.36, for what shall it
profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his
own soul? 5.37 first, or what shall a man give in exchange
for his soul? Rob goes on to say Michael had everything this
world had to offer and he took what he wanted but apparently
has lost all. The world seems willing to hang
on to Michael's coattails and make the same wager. His brother
utilized him, ending with, May Allah be with you always, Michael.
That's what one of his brothers said. Previously, he had been
a Jehovah Witness. I don't know what to make of
all these things. Mr. Bennett from Australia has
said, the psalmist states in Psalm 89, 48, What man is he
that liveth and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul
from the hand of the grave? Selah. Think, meditate on that
for a while. There is not one man that lived
in the past or who is living right now or who will live in
the future that has not and will not face the grim reaper, death. All Romans in Romans 5.12 tells
us why it is so. Wherefore, as by one man, that
was Adam, sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and
so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. As
Charles Pershing said in his Treasure of David, quote, there
is none that can claim to elude the arrows of death, end of quote.
Moses aptly stated under the moving of God's spirit that the
days of our years are three score years and ten, and if by reason
of strength they are four score years, yet is there strength,
labor, and sorrow, for it is soon cut off and we fly away.
So death is sure whatever one's age. Michael Jackson has passed
through the door of death from which there is no return. You've been listening to Just
