Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My name's Josh Williamson. I'm a Baptist minister. And I come out here this afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, with the authority of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I come out here this afternoon to declare to you a message from your rightful God, the only true God, the God to whom you must give an account, the Lord Jesus Christ. You see, ladies and gentlemen, we like to live in a society where we think that we can do our own thing and live as we please, without realizing that we as a people are in rebellion towards the King. We are in rebellion against the Sovereign, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall reign from sea to sea. You see, ladies and gentlemen, Jesus Christ is not a God among the many gods, but He is the only true God, the God to whom we must give an account. He is the only true God, for Jesus Christ alone is the God who made all things. He is the God who put the stars in the sky. He is the God that causes it to rain upon the just and the unjust. He is the King of all kings, and He is the Lord of all lords. And that Jesus Christ, the Jesus Christ that we do not give much thought to, is the God who will judge the living and the dead. You might be one who says, I want nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Then Jesus Christ would charge you with treason. You are in rebellion towards your King. Ladies and gentlemen, the Bible declares that we are all rebels in the sight of God. We have rebelled against the only true authority, the authority of Jesus Christ. We sin against the God that gives us life and breath. We rebel against our Creator. We have declared war upon God. But ladies and gentlemen, that is a foolish thing to do. We declare war upon God, we declare war upon our Creator by our sins. The problem for us is this, God wins the war. But ladies and gentlemen, even though we have sinned against God, even though we are rebels against the only true God, the God that says we must submit to Him, even though we sin against our Creator, our God, the only true God, the God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ, is a God who has shown great kindness and great love towards humanity. The Bible says, In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says there is a God in heaven, the only true God, the God you know exists. That God is in heaven, Jesus Christ the righteous. And the Bible says that we have not loved Him. We have sinned against our King. We have done wrong against our Creator. And thus we are worthy of judgment. The Bible says in this is love, not that we have loved God, but He loved us. You see ladies and gentlemen, We showed ourselves to be enemies of God. We showed that we are in rebellion against the only true God when we sin against Him. You see, Jesus said that we should love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. Our sovereign King, the God to whom you must give an account, is the God that says you must worship Him and you must honour Him, for He alone is God. But we have sinned against that God. We have rebelled against that God. And we have shown that we don't love Him. We show God that we don't love Him and that we sin against Him when we violate His laws. You see, ladies and gentlemen, God has given a set of rules. God has given a standard to humanity. And He says, this is how you shall live. This is what you should do. But we don't do it. We sin against God. We rebel against that which God has decreed. For instance, in the Ten Commandments, the law given by God, God says, do not lie. Have you lied? Have you broken that command of God? God says, don't tell a lie, tell the truth. But ladies and gentlemen, we sin all the time because we're quick at lying and slow at telling the truth. We are quick to lie to one another and ultimately to lie to God. The Bible says God is truthful, that God is true. And when we lie, we are sitting against the true God. We are attacking His character. We are sitting against our sovereign King. Ladies and gentlemen, God says don't lie. Have you ever told a lie? The Bible says lying lips are an abomination unto the Lord. The Bible says that God requires truth. The Bible says all liars, those who tell lies, will have their part in the lake of fire. God, the just King, Jesus Christ the righteous, says don't lie, but we lie. That King, Jesus Christ, the only true God, also says don't steal. Have you ever stolen something regardless of value? Have you ever taken something that doesn't belong to you? Are you a thief? Now the value of the item you take does not matter. You might take a small thing. You might take a big thing. Value is irrelevant. God says do not steal. But have you ever stolen? You see, when we steal, we are sinning against our King, the only true King, Jesus Christ. We are sinning against the only real God, Jesus Christ, when we steal. Jesus says, don't steal. Do you steal? Jesus is the God who searches the innermost hearts of people. Jesus Christ is the God who judges the inward thoughts. You see, God doesn't judge us based on how we judge each other. You see, as humans, we look at each other and we judge based on the outward appearance. God doesn't do that. Jesus Christ looks at our heart. Jesus Christ judges our innermost thoughts. The things done in darkness are the very things that Jesus Christ will bring into account. It is the very thing that we try to hide and keep within us that Jesus will judge. No ma'am I won't shut up because Jesus is King. He said preach. You're a treasonous rebel who needs to repent. You need to bow in submission to the King of all Kings or one day he will force you to bow in judgment. Ma'am, you need to repent. You see, ladies and gentlemen, people like that come along saying, I don't want to hear this. And that only proves my case. I started by saying, we as rebels are guilty of treason against God. What is treason? Treason is rebellion against our rightful king. And when someone comes along and says, shut up! I don't want to hear what you say about Jesus. They are showing that they are rebels. They are showing that they are treasonous. They are showing, as the Bible says, that they love darkness rather than the light. And the reason they love darkness rather than the light is because their deeds are evil. You see, ladies and gentlemen, the real reason we rebel against our only true God, Jesus Christ, is because we love our sin. We rebel against God because we want to be the God of our own destiny. We want to worship self. We want to be the King of our own life. But Jesus Christ is King. Jesus Christ has rightful dominion over your life. But we rebel. We are treasonous against God. Some people walk in close and say they're two cents worth and walk away. But ladies and gentlemen, know this. Those things you say in quiet that you think no one's ever going to hear, one day God will shout them from the rooftops. That there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. The deeds done in darkness will be brought to the light. You see ladies and gentlemen, you might think that you can sin against God. You might think that you can rebel against God in thought, word and deed. And you might think no one will ever know. God knows. God knows the sins you've committed. God knows what you've done. God knows your thought life. The Bible says God demands truth in the inward parts. God knows what's inside man. Jesus said he knew himself what was inside a man. And the Bible says the heart is desperately wicked. The Bible says that the heart is in rebellion towards God. Sir, is there a reason you're holding a catalogue to me? It's Amsterdam? No, this is Chelsea. Anyway. Now this gentleman here is talking about Amsterdam. We're not worried about Amsterdam today, we're worried about you. See the people in Amsterdam must submit to Christ just as much as the people here today. You see, Jesus Christ is King of all Kings. Jesus Christ is God Almighty, who as the Bible says, will reign from sea to sea. He shall have dominion. Jesus Christ will rule and reign until all his enemies are made his footstool and then he'll hand the kingdom over to his father. Jesus Christ is the great King who demands that we worship and honour God. But we rebel against our King. We sin against our King. We sin against Jesus Christ by what we do outwardly and what we do inwardly. The Bible says that God looks at our heart and God examines what we do. And Jesus said this is true in relation to the 7th of the Ten Commandments. The 7th of the Ten Commandments says you shall not commit adultery. But Jesus said if you even look upon someone whom you're not married to with sexual desire, then you've committed adultery already in your heart. Jesus said that looking with lust, looking with sexual desire upon someone whom you're not married to is the same as adultery. Now what is the marriage Jesus is talking about? It is not the perversion known as same-sex marriage, that's not marriage at all. That is privileges for perverts. No, the Bible says marriage is between one man and one woman for life. And Jesus says that is where sex is to be used, within the confines of marriage. So Jesus said, man and woman for life. That is marriage. And anything outside of that is adultery. And the Bible says, adulterers and fornicators, God will judge. You see ladies and gentlemen, you might be an adulterer, but you might not have done the physical deed. Perhaps your adultery is simply looking with lust, logging onto websites, looking at pornography. I saw a newspaper article yesterday that said that pornography is invading the high streets. Adultery is rampant. There are perverts among us. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus says that is adultery of the heart. The Bible says it's wrong. Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, says that is wrong. And we must submit to Him. See ladies and gentlemen, we must submit to Jesus because Jesus is King. We must submit to Jesus because Jesus is God. He is the One who made all things. He is the One that in Him we live, move and have our being. Jesus is the One who gives us breath and by Him all things consist. Jesus Christ, the Bible says, upholds the world by the Word of His power. Jesus Christ is the rightful King. He alone is Lord. He alone has sovereignty. Therefore we must worship and honour Him. But we don't. We rebel against Him. We lie. We steal. We lust. We hate. Which God says is murder of the heart. We blaspheme Jesus Christ. We use the name of Jesus Christ as a curse word. We attack God. That is sin, that's a violation of the law of God. The Bible says, God will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. Ladies and gentlemen, God examines what we say. And he judges us for the words that we speak. Ladies and gentlemen, that leaves us in a bit of strife. Because God has a record of everything we've ever said. Ladies and gentlemen, we have all sinned against the true King. We have sinned against Jesus Christ the righteous, the only real God. Jesus Christ alone is God, and it's Him that we have sinned against. But this great King that we have sinned against, the great King Jesus Christ whom we have rebelled against and declared war upon, is Jesus Christ who has come to make peace through the blood of His cross. The Bible says, in this is love. Not that we have loved God, but He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sin. The Bible says we don't love Jesus naturally. That's painfully obvious. We have all sinned. We've all come short of the glory of God and the punishment for our sin is death and hell. The Bible says the soul who sins, it shall die and the wages of sin is death. We die physically because of our sin, and we deserve to die eternally in hell because of our sin. That's our just punishment for treason against the only true King, Jesus Christ. But Jesus Christ, the Bible says, is a God who's come to make peace with his enemies. You see, we wave our fist at God, declaring ourselves to be God's enemies by our sin, But Jesus Christ comes to make peace through the blood of His cross. The Bible says, in this is love, not that we have loved God, but He loved us. You see, God in an act of love came to earth, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, the life that none of us could ever live. Jesus Christ, in love, died on the cross for sinners. He died as a substitute for sinners. Our sin demanded death, but Jesus Christ died for all those whom the Father predestined unto salvation. Jesus Christ, on the cross, paid the penalty for sinners. The sin that His people committed, their lying, their stealing, their lust, their hatred, their drunkenness, their homosexuality, their worship of anything other than Jesus, makes us worthy of hell and death. But Jesus Christ, on the cross, in love, died for sinners. He took the punishment His people deserve. And then the Bible says on the third day, three days after Jesus Christ died on the cross, He arose again from the dead, defeating sin and death. And now because of what Jesus Christ has done, we can have forgiveness of sin. We can have eternal life and heaven when we die. But how do we get the forgiveness of sin that is offered in the love of Jesus Christ? Well the Bible says you must repent. That is you must turn from your sin, forsake your sin and turn and trust in Jesus Christ alone who died and rose again from the dead. Our works, our good deeds will never help us get to heaven. We cannot be good enough. Our fasting, our efforts of doing goodness in our society means nothing. Only Jesus Christ can satisfy the justice of God. For only Jesus Christ died and rose again. Jesus Christ alone can save sinners. Therefore you must repent, turn from your sins, and trust in the only true King, Jesus Christ the righteous. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus said these words. Jesus said, He is the way, the truth, and the life. And no man goes to the Father, no man goes to God, no man goes to heaven but by Him. The Bible says no other name is given unto heaven by which men must be saved. Jesus Christ alone is the hope of glory. Jesus Christ alone can forgive sinners. For Jesus Christ alone died and rose again. Jesus Christ alone can grant everlasting life. For Jesus Christ alone is the only true God. Jesus Christ alone is the Saviour. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man goes to God but by Him. That means Muhammad can't help you. It means Buddha can't save you. And Pope Francis certainly can't save you. They can't help you. Only Jesus can save sinners. For only Jesus Christ died and rose again. Jesus Christ and Christ alone. The Bible says In this, the love of God was made manifest among us that God sent His only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God, but He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. The Bible says the love of God is shown in Jesus Christ. when Jesus Christ on the cross died for sinners, and when He rose again from the dead. Ladies and gentlemen, therefore repent and worship the only true King, Jesus Christ the righteous. You might walk past saying, no I won't do that, but know this, Jesus is still your King, and He will punish all rebels. And if you refuse to repent, you are showing yourself to be a rebel in the sight of God. The Bible says God commands. God gives an order. God gives a directive. God commands all people everywhere to repent. Young and old. Every single person in the world. Every single person who walking past me. God has given you a command. Repent. Turn from your sin. And trust in Jesus Christ. The only true King. He and He alone can save sinners. The Bible says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still yet sinners, Christ died for us. In this is love. Not that we have loved God, but He loved us, and sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the rightful King, to be the propitiation for our sin. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus Christ is the King of all Kings. And one day you will bow to Jesus. Will you bow to Him in this life and honour Him as King? If so, repent and trust in Jesus alone. Or will you reject Jesus, die in your sin and go to hell? And there in hell, as you're in the torment, you will lift your eyes to heaven and bow your knee then and confess Christ as Lord and you will glorify Jesus forever for His justice. Ladies and gentlemen, we will all bow to the King one day. We will all worship the Lord Jesus Christ one day. Where will you worship Him? Will you honour Christ in this life, the only true God, the only one who can save sinners? Or would you reject Jesus? Ladies and gentlemen, we are all naturally rebels of God. We've all sinned against God. The Bible says, for all have sinned and all have fallen short of the glory of God. There is none good, no not one. There is none righteous, no not one. There's no one who even seeks after God. We've all done wrong. All we like sheep have gone astray. We rebel against our true King, Jesus Christ. We rebel against the only true God, Jesus Christ. We lie. We steal. We hate. We blaspheme. We lust. We get involved in homosexuality. We get involved in drunkenness. We worship demons like Allah and Buddha. We follow liars like Muhammad. We rebel against Jesus. Jesus is the only true King. And to Him you should look. Christ and Christ alone. Jesus Christ the righteous. Who died and rose again. Oh, it is the King forever, and the increase of Christ's government will know no end, and He shall reign from sea to sea.
Jesus is King!
