My name is Brother Justin Whitland. I am a member of the Bible Baptist Church in DeLand, and I'm going to give you a preview of what we are calling Operation Samaria Phase 2. Phase 1, our church had a heart and a desire to preach the gospel publicly in every city in the state of Florida. That was over 700 locations throughout the state of Florida. that we'll preach to in under seven years. And the Lord has laid it upon my heart that we should expand that and preach the gospel. in every city in the United States. And that is the goal for Operation Samaria. That may sound overwhelming at first, but I'm going to give you some Bible. Mark 16, verse 15, the Bible says, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This is not a suggestion. This is a commandment from Almighty God. On top of that, the Bible says, Acts 1, verse 8, ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth and so he gave you the order it starts at home Mission starts at home and the the Bible says in Colossians chapter 1 verse 23 That the gospel had been preached to every creature under heaven If you believe the Bible that means the church From its initial start of a hundred and twenty believers in the upper room on the day of Pentecost they reached a world of 3 to 500 million people. The ratio of 120 to 300 million conservative estimate means every Christian had a personal responsibility of reaching 2.5 million people. Later on in the book of Acts, 5,000 and 3,000 were added to the disciples, so that would make 8,120 to the same conservative estimate of 300 million people on the earth. That is one Christian had a responsibility for 37,000 unbelievers to be reached. I would tell you it is estimated there are 6 million independent Baptist American adults in the world or in the United States, a population of 8 billion. That means every individual Christian bears the responsibility to reach only 1,300 people. There is something wrong with the church at large today. We are asleep at the wheel. We are not doing our duty. And there is no reason with all the people that believe in Jesus Christ here in this country that we cannot reach the world in our lifetime. This reaching of the world was accomplished in under four decades with the early church. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to do that today. And so we plan at least to start by reaching our country, every single city in the United States, to have gospel preaching, gospel singing, tracts and Bible signs for the minimum of one hour.
