Your First Love

Remember the first love you had for your spouse, the kind when you started dating or courting? That first love was passionate, fervent, and all-consuming. How long has it been since you felt that way about Jesus? Do you remember what it was that made you feel that first desperate, “sell everything and follow Jesus” kind of love? Look to Jesus, the one who died in your place, showing you steadfast mercy, everlasting loving-kindness. Remember when you first loved the One who first loved us.
