Number one, I appreciate the sound guys and the audio-visual guy back there. At our church, sometimes preacher does not give the title to his messages. And so, you know what the guys in the sound room do? They make them up. That works sometimes, but if somebody's looking for a message, now what was that message? So he asked me tonight, now what was your message title this morning? And I didn't give it, see? And so he already asked me, what's tonight? And my title is he brought him to Jesus. He brought him to Jesus. There's a tremendous man that walks out of the pages of scripture. He is probably mentioned just as many times as the Apostle Paul. There's about 150 verses or passages in the Bible that talk about his salvation, his call to ministry, his personal life, his failures, and his victories. And, you know, the Holy Spirit has even put his name indelibly on one of the books in Scripture. And his name was Peter. Peter. You know, several years ago I did a series on Peter, the apostle Peter, and I found as I went through that, that, wow, I'm a lot like Peter. If you've ever studied Peter's life, you'll find that you are a lot like Peter. I'm glad the Lord put Peter in the scriptures. I'm glad that he was an apostle, because it means there's hope for me. And there's hope for you. And so we're going to look at Peter tonight. We're going to look at really his His call, I mean, not really his call, but his conversion. His conversion. Now, you know, Peter, it seems sometimes he was always on top of the mountain. He had the right thing to say. When you think about the fact that when I said this this morning, when all the other people were leaving Jesus, Peter said, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus said, that's great, Peter, that's right. Flesh and blood hasn't revealed to you, but my Father, which is in heaven. He said the right thing, but sometimes he said things were utterly ridiculous. Have you ever done that? Remember on the Mount of Transfiguration, after they woke up, And Peter in Matthew chapter 17 verse 14 said, Lord, it's good to be here. Well, of course it was good to be there. But then he said, if thou wilt, let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, one for Moses, and one for Elias. You don't put Moses and Elias on the same level with Jesus. There's no way. He, and that's why a cloud overshadowed them. And he said, this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased. Hear ye Him. It's about the Lord Jesus Christ and lifting Him up in our life. That's the most important. And so Peter, it seems he always had an answer. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad. But you know what? In the epistle that he wrote under inspiration, he said in 1 Peter 3, verse 15, but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer. What kind of an answer? and to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that ye have that's in you with meekness and fear. That's the kind of answer we ought to give of why do you, why are you the way you are? Well, it's because I know Jesus Christ as my Savior. That's, we have the right kind of answer. So Peter was one of the favorite three who really got a closer intimacy with Christ. You know, this isn't part of the message, but let me say here, the way that we get closer to Christ Now listen, the way you get a closer relationship with Jesus Christ is to deny yourself. When you're something, Jesus is nothing. But when you're nothing, He is everything. He's everything. You know, Peter was an outstanding man. He was an outstanding man, but he was because God made him that way. Now, most people, when you look at their life, it begins with their birth. There's no birth for Peter. But there is something here in Scripture, and I wanna show it to you tonight. Let's look at first, excuse me, John chapter one and verse 35. This is after Christ has been baptized. It's the next day. And the Bible says here, again, the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples, and looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God. And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned and saw them following and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, which is to say, being interpreted, Master, where dwellest thou? He saith unto them, Come and see. And they came and saw where he dwelt and abode with him that day. For it was about the tenth hour. And one of the two which heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus." Father, again, we want to thank you for the opportunity that we've had to be here this weekend. Thank you for the opportunity we've had to share with the folks here. We've really just fallen in love with them. We thank you that they're brothers and sisters in Christ. And I pray in a special way tonight that you'd speak to our hearts about this matter of bringing people to you. Because that's why you've saved us. That's our purpose in life, is to tell folks about Jesus. Lord, thank you for salvation. Thank you for what it means to us that are saved. And I pray that we'd have a greater burden for our lost friends, for our coworkers that need to be saved. But Lord, help us to have in our heart a greater love for you. so that we'll have a greater boldness to witness to those that are lost. And we'll thank you for it in Jesus' name, amen. You know, as I said, Peter's, when you start somebody's life out, it begins with their birth, but you can't find that about Peter. The Bible does not start with his birth. It actually, when Peter comes onto the scene, it talks about the fact that he's married. Actually, sorry, our Catholic friends, he did have a wife, all right. And then he was a fisherman by trade according to Matthew chapter 4 and verse 18. So he's living on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee in Bethsaida is where it was. And Jesus oftentimes with his disciples would go to Peter's house. I really think that when the man who was let down through the roof, remember his friends tore off the roof and let him down through the roof, I really think that was Peter's roof. Couldn't you see Peter tearing up my roof, you know? And what if somebody came and tore up your roof? But it would be worth it if that man was made completely whole like that man was, not just physically, but spiritually. It was worth it to tear the tile off the roof if somebody would get saved. So it may have been Peter's, it was Peter's house, but the Bible doesn't begin with his physical birth, but begins with his spiritual birth. Because you see, nobody really starts living Until they're born again Because we're dead in our trespasses and sins. We're dead. We can't see spiritually, but when we're born again When the light of the gospel shines in the darkness of our heart and we're transformed into the same images Christ when that salvation experience happens we see things the way we never saw them before and We see the truth. We understand the gospel. We understand this book. It's a supernatural book and you gotta be born again to understand it. You have to. And so Peter's salvation was not a spectacular event. It was a quiet encounter with Jesus, but it made a tremendous impact on his life. It changed the direction of his life from being a fisherman to being a fisher of men. That's really important, that's significant. And so, you know, if I were to ask you tonight about your salvation experience, I'm sure every one of us had something different about it. It may have been a quiet event. In mine, as I told you this morning, I was saved in Lansing, Michigan on 1301 Ohio Street. The house is still standing. I went by there and took a picture of it. You know, it's a Hispanic neighborhood now, but it had a kitchen table that November night on November 5th, 1967. Yeah, I'm that old. Believe it or not. 1967, I was born again. And I remember after I got saved, we had these little blocks out in the living room. And I went out there and I thought, never thought this before, I wonder if this is pleasing God, what I'm doing. As a six year old, you see, that's a spiritual encounter. God changes your thoughts. Is this pleasing to God? And so it was not a spectacular thing. It was just at the table there with Pastor and Mrs. Doddway and my parents, but I trusted Christ as my Savior, and it's changed my life, changed the direction of my life totally. I don't know about your experience. I'd like to hear it sometime. And some of the, Brother Andrew, are you here? Yes, there you are. His experience, he shared it, how the Lord led him, totally different from mine, but he's saved, he's born again. And so that's what happens. It changes our life from eternal damnation to eternal life. It's a free gift made possible by the Lord Jesus Christ. So let's look at about three things tonight. About what the Bible tells us about Peter's conversion. First of all, the Bible tells us that Peter was brought to Jesus by his brother Andrew. Andrew, of course, he was a follower of John the Baptist, and after Jesus was baptized, John the Baptist knew that Jesus was the Christ. And that's why he said, behold, the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. And Andrew and John looked at each other, hmm, we've got to investigate this a little bit more. And so as Jesus is leaving or walking away, he finds these two fellas following him, Andrew and John. And as they follow him, he turned around, what are you seeking? They say, where do you live? Well, he says, and this is the great gospel invitation, come and see. Come and see. Now we know, the Bible says, that Jesus even said to himself, foxes have holes, birds of the air have nests, but the son of man hath not where to lay his head. So I don't know where that was, but it was a come and see place. But it was a great experience for Andrew. It totally changed his life. It totally changed his perspective on the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. We're not even given there what happened to Andrew, but he understood that Jesus was the Messiah. I love how Jesus talks to people. He takes them from what they don't know to what they do need to know. And they needed to know, Andrew and John, that Jesus was the Son of God come down from heaven. And evidently, Andrew was, wow, this is exciting, this is spectacular. It was a moment that really changed Andrew's life. And can I interject here that what Andrew did for Peter was outstanding too. Because Andrew, of course, took Peter to Jesus. He took him to him. We may have never heard about Peter if Andrew hadn't sought his brother out. Who knows, we would have never heard anything about him if Andrew hadn't sought him out. In the Bible, in church history, of course, Peter shines. But can I remind you, they would have never shined unless somebody had brought him to Jesus. You know, I think about people like Dio Muti. In history, in American history, Dio Muti shines. You know, as he preached to boys and girls and he brought them to Sunday school, as he preached to great crowds. But can I remind you there was somebody behind the scenes, a nobody, a Sunday school teacher who brought Dio Muti to Jesus. At our church, we have an evangelist, his name's Andy Tully, and he talks about him being, the fact of the matter is, Andy Tully's about, he's bigger than me, taller than me. He said, I've never been small, is what his line is, never been little. But he said a Sunday school teacher who took him to his house, opened the Bible, and Andy Tully got saved. That Sunday school teacher never knew that Andrew Tully would become an evangelist, never knew that he'd preach across America, never knew that! but it was a faithful Sunday school teacher who brought him to Jesus. Hey, you never know how your testimony and telling somebody about Jesus is going to influence that person's life and you never know where God's gonna take him or what he's gonna do with him. You never know. But the great thing is you can have a part in that story. Because God uses us to influence other people. Our story connects with other people's story. You know when Pastor Doddway and Mrs. Doddway sat at that table and led a six-year-old boy to Jesus Christ, they never knew that I would be at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wildwood, Missouri preaching. Never knew that! But God did. So just be faithful in telling somebody about Jesus, because you never know what he's going to do with their life, ever. You know, moms, you have those children at home. And sometimes those days are kind of, huh. You have those days with children, you know. Are these ever going to get over? My days were the diaper bag days. When you had to haul them to church, oh my, diaper day. I was glad when the diaper bag days were over. Now she takes food to church. So we went from diaper bags to food, you know? But the fact of the matter is God wants to use you in their lives to tell them about Jesus, because you never know. You might have an evangelist in your family. You might have a missionary in your family. You just never know. Tell them about Jesus. And by the way, I'd encourage you who are Sunday school teachers, the same thing. You know, you have that one that's just ornery in Sunday school, you just, oh, you dread to see him come to Sunday school? You never know, that might be the one God calls to do something for him. So just be faithful, take people to Jesus. The reason for Andrew's concern was the fact that Andrew, first of all, had met Jesus. He'd met the Lord. He was convinced that he was the Messiah. And he was convinced of that, so much so that he was excited about that. He had to tell somebody about the Lord Jesus. And so he was convinced that he had to share. In order for us to share the gospel with somebody else, we have to be saved ourselves. We have to be convinced that he is Jesus, He's the Son of God, and He came to save us from our sins. We've got to be convinced about that, first of all. And secondly, in order for us to be, when we're convinced, we have to open our mouths about it. You know, a lot of Christians are like the Mississippi up in Minnesota at the headwaters of Mississippi. I've been there. It's pretty neat. You just walk over the Mississippi right there at the headwaters. But a lot of people, a lot of Christians are like the Mississippi in Minnesota in the dead of winter, frozen at the mouth. You know, I don't know how we can be saved and not tell. It's interesting, when somebody gets saved, they wanna tell about it. I told the fellows last night, there was a 21-year-old guy who works for the Corps of Engineers, and he was with some fellows there, and a guy gave him a tract. And he took the tract home, and he, well, actually, he set it in his truck. And later on, sometime during that week, he was in his truck, out on the farm somewhere, and that tract was laying there, and he picked it up, and he began to read that tract. And you know what happened? He got saved. And when he got saved, he took the tract back to work and he said, guys, I got saved. I got saved. He told them about, you know, people that are newly saved, they just tell it. They just open their mouth. Why is it then some of us who have been saved for years just don't tell it? I'll tell you what it is. It's sin. It's broken fellowship with the Lord. Because when you know the best news ever, you want to tell it. If you're saved, if you're born again, you know Christ your Savior, you want to tell it. And so truly saved folk will have a concern for the salvation of others. They will. They will. Now Peter, excuse me, Andrew's concern is resolute. There's two words in our scripture here tonight that show me how he had a desire to get Peter to Jesus. And those two words, one is in verse 41. The Bible says, in verse 41, it says, he first findeth. He first findeth his own brother Simon. And the thing about that word is it's important that word findeth means that he had to put forth some effort. You know, the fact of the matter is, and you know this already, people aren't gonna flock to church. They're not just gonna come of their own accord. You have to find them. You gotta go find them. And it reminds me of what Jesus, about the Lord Jesus. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. He sought me. I didn't seek Him. We were dead in our trespasses and sins. We didn't seek after God. He sought after us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. So he came seeking after me. And so Andrew went seeking after his brother. You know, sometimes we seek after people but we quit. We find them once and then we just stop. I'm glad the Lord doesn't stop seeking after us. But we shouldn't stop seeking after people. Sometimes when we, in our evangelism, we find them and then we just leave them. Well, it doesn't seem like they're interested. And so we quit. You know what? We shouldn't do that. Because you don't know what God's doing in their heart. Just keep going. Just keep seeking. We had a man in our church several years ago. His name was Pete Stein. Pete Stein used to play for the minor leagues somewhere up here. I forget what they were back then. I mean, this was a long time ago. But he was an older man. And somebody on visitation came across Pete. Pete, his wife, came to our church, and she got saved, but Pete didn't. He'd sit out there with his beer and say, she's in the house. You know, he'd drink his beer, she's in the house. But people just kept going to see Pete Stein. And finally, finally, finally, one day, O. Pete got saved. And preacher tells it, he said, man, O. Pete, I mean, he was a big fella. He had big feet. He'd come walking down the aisle and say he wanted to get saved. And O. Pete got saved. You know what he said in his deathbed? He could hardly talk then. He said, Brother Parker, thank you for telling me about Jesus. How many people will be in heaven because you sought them and you brought them to Jesus? There's a lot of people that we meet and we just say, oh, they're not interested. You don't know that. Just keep going. Just keep telling. Just keep after them. Larry Dremmer. I didn't know what God was doing in his heart, but God put a burden on my heart for Larry to get saved. I told you about him this morning. And Larry got saved. Just keep going. Andrew findeth his brother Peter. I've got to find him. I can't find him. But the next word is here. in the scripture where it says that he brought him, verse 42, and he brought him to Jesus. He didn't just find him, he brought him. The word brought, I understand, means to drive or to lead or to accompany, lead by accompanying. A.T. Robertson says that that word may indicate that Andrew had to overcome some resistance on Simon's part. And knowing Peter, I guarantee you he did. Peter was hard-headed, you know. So he had to, he had to overcome some resistance to bring him to Jesus. And the fact of the matter is, with people that are lost, we have to overcome some resistance sometimes. Because they say, get out of here, I don't want to hear that. There's some resistance, but just keep going. Aren't you glad that somebody kept going after you? If we had testimony, if we had time for testimony tonight, it'd be wonderful because some of you would probably say, yeah, I'm glad that so-and-so kept after me and they brought me to Jesus. That's a wonderful thing to bring people to Jesus so we don't want to get discouraged. He was resolute in getting him there. If we could put it in our own vernacular, he took him to church himself to make sure he got there. I want you to get to Jesus. And that's what we want people to get. That's what churches are. We're not here for a museum. We want to get folks to Jesus. Because when we get them to Jesus, He'll change their life. We don't want to get them to religion. Religion doesn't change people's lives. Jesus changes folks' direction. He changes their destiny forever. So don't give up. Get people to Jesus. Now, The Bible does say that our labor in the Lord is not in vain. It's not in vain. And if there's one thing I can encourage you folks here at Cornerstone, it would be seek people. Seek people and don't quit. I know if there's one thing that the devil really gets us discouraged about is that area right there. About seeking the lost, isn't it? I mean, at most churches, okay, folks, we're having visitation tonight. We're gonna go out, you know, I don't know what you call it here. Down south, we call it visitation. Up north, they call it calling. You know, we're going calling. That's the north and the south thing, you know? But it's just getting people to Jesus is what it is. But you'll have a lot of people on Sunday morning, Sunday night. This is a good crowd for Sunday night. Wednesday night, it's real good. But you announce, okay, we're having soul winning. Oh, well, we don't have to worry about that. That's for the people that get paid on staff, that's for the deacons, that's for the pastor to do. No, it's for you to do. Okay, I'm gonna digress a little bit, follow me. I asked him, I said, am I okay walking around like this? One thing, you know what? You don't wanna lose out in eternity. You don't, Vincent, you don't wanna lose out in eternity. And the most important thing is that God allows you to be a co-laborer with Jesus Christ. You get to tell somebody about Jesus. And souls are eternal. And if you're just faithful, you're just faithful, just be faithful. It's required of stewards of the man, be found faithful. There's rewards for faithfulness, isn't there, brother? There is. But what happens if I'm not faithful? Oh, visitation, we don't have to be faithful to that. Why don't I be faithful and tell people about Jesus? Well, the fact of the matter is, and I'm doing a study on this, this is not the sermon, but there is loss at the judgment seat of Christ too. And there are tears there. And church, if I could remind you about this, you don't just want to get to heaven by the skin of your teeth, you don't want to just get in. "'cause you'll be sorry." It's a very serious thought. I may be poor here and that's okay. I may live in a farmhouse here and that's all right. But if I miss out there, I'll be sorry. I believe, brother, there's degrees of joy in heaven. There's people, in his presence, there is fullness of joy, and his right hand, there's pleasures forevermore. There is joy, but I'll guarantee you there'll be some people that are more joyful than others. Those that turn many to righteousness will shine as the stars forever and ever. Do you think they're happy? Oh, yeah. But what about the church in America? Well, we just, we got a few. We haven't been faithful. Oh, you're faithful to church, that's good. But faithful in telling people about Christ. And faithful in good works. What about that? You don't wanna be sorry. The Bible says there's loss. And you don't have many preachers preaching about loss at the judgment seat of Christ. Oh, we're talking about rewards. Everybody's gonna get rewards. I don't think so. I don't think so. Not if you haven't been faithful. I mean, don't we reward faithfulness here on earth? I mean, if somebody's faithful, the Bible says, if somebody's faithful, we're gonna ask them more of him, don't we? But what if somebody's unfaithful? Do we ask more of him, Brother Jones? No, we don't, mm-mm, mm-mm. So if I haven't been really faithful here, remember the talents? Faithful with five, you get 10. Faithful with two, you get two more. Non-faithful, one. It's not that you're going to hell, but it'll be sad. That's not even a sermon. I don't know why that's in there. But it is to remind you that church, our job is to tell people about Jesus. We're ambassadors for Christ. And Peter was brought to Jesus by Andrew. You see Andrew doing that a lot in scripture, don't you? He was just faithful about telling, getting people to Jesus. And that's what we're supposed to do. So in communicating his message, he was enthusiastic. In verse 41 there, he was enthusiastic. The word found is a word that's really interesting. In 1849, there was the gold was found out in California. And people were excited about the news about the gold out there. And people went out there and people struck it rich and some people did, a lot didn't. More didn't than did as far as finding gold. But you know what? One of the greatest discoveries of all is finding Jesus. That's a great find. He is the pearl of great price. He is worth it all. He is everything. And you know what, that's what matters, that's what matters, the forgiveness of our sin and salvation of our soul. But interestingly, this word here in scripture, and it's used three times here, it's the word found. It's in verse 41, verse 43, and verse 45. It comes from a Greek word, and I'm not gonna say the Greek word, but I know where we get our English word from it, it's the word eureka. Eureka! I know we got that just down here. I don't know how it got its name. You know, did they find gold down there? Eureka! But it's an interesting word, that word Eureka. You see, Eureka, better than finding gold is finding that Jesus is the Messiah. It was for Andrew. Eureka! I'm excited about this. and he had to tell Peter about it. It was no little thing. You know, there's people that win the lottery. We had a guy down at Piedmont that won one of those scratch-off things, and for weeks he didn't tell anybody. You don't tell people in Piedmont that you won the big lottery ticket, you know, because there's a lot of people that show up, yay! People that have money, oh, they make a lot of friends, oh boy. But this kind of news, it was good news. Eureka! We found him. We found the Messiahs. Now to a Jew, that was a big deal. They've been waiting for the Messiah to come. They've been anticipating his coming. And when Andrew had a personal encounter with the Messiah, and he told him, I am, Whoa! And he couldn't help it. He got the couldn't help it's, I gotta tell somebody. And he went and found Peter. You know what? In our presentation of the gospel, we need to use it, we need to give it Eureka style. Now I know some of us are not as enthusiastic as others are, but you know what? The truth is good news. You don't say, you wouldn't want to come to church with me, would you? You know, you wouldn't want to read this gospel track, would you? No, this is good news. Changed my life, it'd change yours, too. I'd like you to come to church with me, because you could hear the truth. You know, you'll hear the gospel. And you know how God's changed my life. We've been talking about this for several weeks. Come to our church. Come to my church. And our pastor's going to preach. You'll hear a gospel message. and your life can be changed too. That's the good thing. With enthusiasm, I believe in enthusiastic preaching, can you tell? Because I love the word of God. I love the word, and I want people to love the word of God. I want them to see how exciting it is, because it's the truth. It's not a lie. And God focuses on assurances. The devil's for doubts, but not God. It's good news. And we need to be enthusiastic about the Word of God and the truth. You know, if a salesman Yeah, so you're going to look for a car. And if a salesman was not too enthusiastic about the car, he said, well, you can look at it if you want to. Yeah, or not. You know, it just really doesn't matter to me. You're not going to be too enthusiastic about buying that car, are you? But if that car salesman has a car like that, and he's driven a car like that, and he knows a car like that, he's going to be enthusiastic about a car like that, you're going to say, well, you know, I think I ought to buy an American car. You know, I think we ought to if he's enthusiastic. And so in our soul winning, when we're telling folks about the Lord Jesus, we need to be enthusiastic about it. Brother Jose today, he was talking about when you're singing, you need to smile. When you go to the door, you need to smile. Don't be embarrassed. We're ambassadors of the King of King and Lord of Lords. That's a wonderful thing. We need to tell folks about the Lord and be enthusiastic. So don't be dull and indifferent about your proclamation of the gospel. Share it and be excited about it. Eureka! He's changed my life, he'll change yours. And there's a dogmatism that Andrew had in his delivery, too. He was excited about finding the Messiah, but he didn't say, I hope we found him. No, we have found him. we're sure that he is the Messiah. There's a dogmatism about the gospel too. We cannot help anybody if we're not convinced of the fact that Jesus saves sinners. But when we are, when we're convinced, when we're dogmatic about it, then people say, boy, that must be true. Why is it the world gets dogmatic about their stuff and it's not true sometimes, but they're dogmatic? Aren't they? And we as Christians, well, I don't want to be dogmatic about that Jesus is the only way of salvation, you know? You know, I'm kind of embarrassed about it. No, why? Why do we back off in the world? Boy, they're forceful and they're right in your face about it. Now, I'm not saying about, you're not to, you know, grab, you're going to hell, turn to burn, brother. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You can be a gentleman about that and a lady about that and tell folks about Jesus. Just like Stephen, we talked about this morning. The wisdom which is from above is for us pure, peaceful, gentle, easy to be entreated. That's the way we need to give the gospel. Gentle, easy to be entreated. You got questions? Oh, I'd be glad to answer. That's a wonderful thing about leading somebody to Christ. It forces you to know this book right here. That's a good thing. That's a really good thing. We can tell people with a Christ-like spirit that they need to know the Lord Jesus. So, you know, Paul said this. He said, I know in whom I have believed. I know that. There's a dogmatism about salvation and Christ alone that is our proclamation. That's it. So, you know, man may try countless ways to change himself. I've heard of people saying, well, I'm just gonna turn over a new leaf. Well, the fact is, if you turn over a leaf, you gotta keep turning the leaf over, because it never gets clean, never gets fixed. But you know what the Lord Jesus does? He didn't turn over your life, he gives you a brand new life. And tonight, the most important thing, church, is that we tell folks about Jesus. Listen, we don't have a lot of time. The Lord is coming soon. He's been coming for 2,000 years. It's been the last days for 2,000 years. We are in the last days. He could come at any moment. And I wonder, are you actively seeking somebody? Now I'm not gonna ask you to raise your hand, but has God put somebody on your heart that you need to witness to and you haven't been doing it? There's a reason why he put you on that person on your heart. There's a reason for it. And we need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's direction, like, I guess I need to give them that check. I guess I need to go to their house. I guess I need to. You know, we need to be spirit-led. Spirit-led. And when we are, it's amazing what God does. Don't grieve the Holy Spirit. If he has put somebody on your heart, It's for you. There's a reason why. And you need to go and tell them about the Lord Jesus. It may be somebody at work. It may be a relative. It may be somebody far away that you're gonna have to call tonight. The Holy Spirit's laid you on my heart. And I don't know why I need to call you, but you need to know Christ. You need to know him as your savior. And I haven't been faithful. So it's a must, we must do that. And the great thing is, is that when we love the Lord, we will do it. When we love Him with all our heart, nobody has to make us or shame us, we want to. We want to tell folks about Jesus. The greatest day in Andrew's life is when he had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. The greatest day in Peter's life was when his brother said, we found the Messiah's Eureka. Come, come. And he brought him to Jesus. And that day totally changed Peter's life. Totally changed him. And God had a purpose for him, didn't he? God had a purpose for Peter's life. And I'm thankful that we are laborers together with Christ. So I guess the invitation tonight would be this. Number one, do you know Christ as your Savior? Are you born again? And number two, if you are, Why aren't you telling it? Why? It's the greatest news this side of heaven. And the greatest news of heaven is Jesus. It's Him all the way. So lift him up, tell folks about the Lord Jesus. I'd encourage you, right now as a church, I know you're in a transition period, you're in a time when things are not the same like they ought to be, but I'd encourage you, I'd encourage you so much, those of you who are in leadership, to begin the soul winning, begin that, that's important. That's why Cornerstone's here, to tell folks about the Lord Jesus. and get them to Jesus, you'll not regret it. You will not regret it. You won't. Because I'll remind you, we all will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give an account. We must all, the Bible says, must all give an account for what we've done in our body, whether it's good or evil, good or bad. And the good work, the work is seeking and saving the lost. That's why we're here. Let's pray together. Father, we thank you for the presentation here and the scriptures of Andrew who had a soul in his heart. He wanted to see his brother get saved. Holy Spirit, again, you're the God of the conscience, and you work in hearts, and I don't know how you've worked tonight, but I guarantee you, you have. I know you have. And I pray that you'd help us to be obedient to what you have spoken to our heart about. Lord, I love you. And I just want to continue to be faithful to you and help these dear folks here to be faithful. Help them, they need you. We all do. And may we not, we don't want to be ashamed before you at your coming. So help us to make the main thing the main thing, and that's to tell people about you. In Jesus' name, amen. Let's stand together.
