Money Matters: Trust, Treasure and Eternity

Do you consider yourself rich? Most people asked that question answer “no.” To be rich, they reason, is to have some measure more than whatever they currently possess. By biblical standards, we certainly have more in common with the rich than the poor. And God’s encouragement to the rich is to let comfort, security and worth come from God, not material things. "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy"(1 Timothy 6:17, NKJV). In this sermon, we’ll continue our study of 1 Timothy 6 as we consider, “Money matters: Trust, treasure and eternity.”
