for the service today. Now, I'm no Brother John Westerfield. I'm no Brother Kenny Dawkins, amen. I'm just old Tracy Puckett. Found out a long time ago I'd be him better than I'd be anybody. Everybody all right? So, amen. Y'all pray for us this morning. I was thinking about revival. Boy, and the great messages these men preached and how God moved into services, amen. So as I begin to think about that, amen, I begin to think about our church. Somebody say amen. Boy, I tell you, we're changed. Amen. I mean, buddy, when God showed up, He changed us. Amen. He changed our churches, changed forever. Amen. I mean, buddy, revival winds blow through. Somebody say amen. One got saved, that changed everything. There's a family that's changed for all of eternity. What do you mean? I mean now that young man is going to heaven. That changed everything. Is everybody alright? I mean revival ought to do something to stir us up. Amen. It ought to make a difference. It ought to make a change in our lives. Somebody say Amen. It ought to make a change in the church. Boy, now as I begin to think about that change that come along our way, amen, I hope you got in on it, amen. I begin to think about that, Brother Tiny, but I also begin to think about there's some things that didn't change. Is everybody okay? There's some things, Brother Eric, that didn't change. That world out there, that world out there didn't care one bit, amen, that Calvary Baptist Church was in revival. That world out there didn't care one bit until that young man got saved. They ain't changed the way they act. They're not going to change the way they live. Is everybody alright? Just because the winds of revival blow through our hearts, they don't care one bit out there. Is everybody all right? There's people in my family, they could care less. They've been what we've done last week, Devin. They could care less. They're going to keep living just like they're living, unless something's done in their life. Is everybody all right? Amen. Y'all know some people. Maybe you work with some. Maybe some of your friends, amen, that's out there in the world. Maybe some people, amen, in your family, amen, they live wicked and ungodly. They didn't change one bit last week, except maybe got worse. Is everybody okay? And so as I begin to think about that, I mean by the Holy Ghost beginning to speak to my heart, when I begin to think about that, God just came through and changed some things, changed some lives, changed some people, changed the church a little bit, made it a little more godly, or somebody say amen, made it a little more spiritual, that's what I'm talking about. Amen, but God said there's something that needs to stay the same. You got your Bibles on my book of II Timothy. The Lord laid this on my heart. Amen. There's still people dying and going to hell. Amen. There's still people that's backslidden. As I begin to think about, amen, how God showed up and blessed us so good. I'm not trying to put any damper or take anything I'm excited about. Amen, God's showing up. Amen, every night. Somebody say amen. Showing up again this morning. Showed up during all night prayer. Is everybody okay? Amen. I mean, buddy, God just keeps blessing us. Amen, and drawing us up closer to Him. Hey, but there's some things, amen, need to stay the same. even right here at Calvary. Everybody all right? So as I begin to pray about this, Lord, Lord, lay this on my heart. 2 Timothy chapter number 4. Amen. I want to say this. This needs to always be, and the world needs this worse today, amen, than it did yesterday. Now I begin to think about that. The Lord laid this on my heart. Amen. I'm just going to obey Him. He said in chapter number 4 verse number 1, I charge thee therefore before God. Amen goes right there. God's charging us. Amen men. Somebody say Amen. Children of God. God's putting a charge on us. Amen. He's not just a friendly request. Is everybody all right? God's given us a command. God's telling us. He said, the word of God said, I charge thee. Amen. This is a charge. This ain't something we ought to take lightly. This ain't something we ought to just breeze over. This ain't something we ought to just glance at. This ain't something we ought to learn to quote. Amen. This is something we ought to take and apply it to our life. God's word said, I charge thee. Is everybody all right? Amen. He's not just charging us, Amen, before the brethren. He's not just explaining it to us before each other. He's, I charge thee before God. Is everybody all right? Amen. I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Who was it going to happen? Who shall judge the quick and the dead? at His appearing and His kingdom. That's something God wants us to do. That's something the Word of God, amen, is not just saying it needs to stay the same. He's actually commanding us. Is everybody okay? Amen, there's something, there's something this world needs. There's something the church needs, amen, and there's a lot of them today. I'm afraid they're not getting what He's saying right here. Is everybody alright? There's a lot of people not going to get this, what he's saying right here. But he says, I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, even who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing in his kingdom. He said preach the Word. Even the world needs to hear the Word of God being preached under Holy Ghost anointing with power straight from the throne room of God. That's what's going to change the world. Is everybody alright? Is everybody okay? Should I charge you? Preach the word! Preach the word! Don't get up and track jokes! Don't get up and try to preach some commentary! Preach the word of God! We need the word of God! What happened this week? The word of God got preached. Is everybody alright? What made the difference? The Word of God got preached. Oh, I love good singing. I love to hear folks sing in the Holy Ghost. I love to hear folks get up, amen, and testify and sing in the Spirit of God moving on. Amen. And that right there helps me. But I'm going to tell you right now what changes me, what draws me up to God. It's the Word of God. It's when a man of God gets up under Holy Ghost anointing. It's when the Word of God enlarges itself in my heart and takes root in my life. That's what will change a man. Is everybody alright? And he tells us, Wayne, he said, preach the Word. Preach the Word. Preach the Word. Amen? This Holy Ghost Bible. He said preach the Word, there's a reason. There's reasons we need to preach the Word. There's absolute reasons we need to preach the Word. He said, verse number 2, preach the Word, be instant in season. What's that? That's when everybody wants to hear it. Is everybody okay? That's when you're in like-minded crowd. Amen. You're in church. You're in revival. Everybody's hungering for it. Everybody wants it. Ain't nobody going to argue with it. When it's in season, preach it. Is everybody okay? Be instant in season and out of season. Amen. There'll be times in your life, child of God, when people don't want to hear it. Oh, I'm the only one. I'm the only one who got family members saying, you know, I really don't want to hear that. I know, I know what you're going to say and I really don't want to hear it. I'm going to tell them what's right, but they don't want to hear what's right. Has anybody got family members like that? I mean, buddy, you know what's right. You see them going down the wrong road. You know it's a road to disaster. You know they fixing to mess up. You try to give them the Word of God to help them and they won't have it. That's out of season. in their life, but we gotta be willing to try to help them. Everybody all right? To try to encourage them to do what's right, to try to keep them from going down that road, to try to keep them from losing everything they got, to try to keep them from losing their mind, to try to keep them out of jail, to try to keep them right, amen, so that we can be around them. We're trying to help them. Instant in season, out of season. Amen? There'll be times folks just don't want to hear you. Amen? What are we trying to give them? Are we trying to compromise with them? But he said, I want you to preach the word. I want you to be instant in season, out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. Well, folks ain't long-suffering no more. They ain't long sufferin' for each other. They ain't long sufferin' on the word of God. Amen, when it cramps their lifestyle. Everybody all right? Folks ain't long sufferin' no more. He said, for the time will come. For the time will come. I'm gonna tell you the time has come. It's here. The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. Amen. What is doctrine? It teaches us what's right and what's wrong. Amen. It's when we hear the man of God or a Sunday school teacher or somebody just as well versed in the scriptures or somebody trying to give us instruction in our life. Amen. And what's right. They said the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. Amen. They won't endure it out there. They won't put up with it. It's getting harder and harder for people in the church to hear sound doctrine and agree with it. Somebody say amen. Much less live by it. Is everybody okay? Amen. You can't even get them to agree with what's right. They make up excuses why they can't live it. Is everybody alright? Amen. He said, but a time will come. The time has come, the time will come, brother Billy, when they will not endure sound doctrine. Amen, but after their own loss, listen to this. But after their own loss, shall they heap themselves teachers having itching ears. Amen, we didn't have teachers here this week. Amen, we didn't have men up here tickling ears. Is everybody okay? Petting them, petting them. Amen, petting them in their sin. Is everybody alright? That's what the world wants, Brother Allen. They want you to pat them in their sin, rub them like Brother John was talking about that dog, like to rub him on his back. That's the way them sinners are. They just want you to rub them on their back, tell them, it's okay, you keep living like that, it's alright. Folks just don't understand. You was born that way. Let me tell you something, they wasn't born that way. Amen, they were taught that that way was acceptable. Everybody alright? And it's unacceptable according to the Word of God. See, that's sound doctrine. Amen, and folks won't even agree with it, much less try to live by it. And men are afraid to even preach it anymore. Everybody alright? Tell folks what's right. Amen. And so here we are. He said, the time will come, they're going to keep themselves teachers, they're going to have engineers. Amen? And they shall turn away their ears from the truth. They shall be turned unto fables. He said, but watch thou in all things and do afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. Amen? Amen. This is our ministry, Calvary Baptist Church. Why does the Word of God need to be preached? Well, he's talking back, I believe, referring back over here to the last chapter. Amen, because if you'll think about it, if you'll just look around, we are, I've said it, I've said it, and I'm going to keep on saying it. I am a last days preacher. We are living in the last days. I believe we are living in the final hours, up to the trump of God to sound. Somebody say amen. God's about to wrap this thing up. He's about to call the church out of here. Somebody shout hallelujah. Amen. We're not going to have to worry about sin. We're not going to have to worry about the devil anymore. Amen. But until then, But until then, amen, there's some things we need to hang on to. Amen. The Word of God needs to be preached in the hour in which we live. The Word of God needs to be preached. He said, I charge thee before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, which shall judge the quickened of dead at His appearing in His kingdom. Preach the Word. Let's not stop preaching, preachers. Let's not stop telling folks what's right, men and women. Let's tell them what the Word of God says. And preachers, preach the Word. Amen. I know everybody ain't a preacher. Amen. And so as I begin to think about that, the Lord said go back and look at chapter 3. Amen. Preach the word. Why? Because we're living in the last days. Amen. Men and women, boys and girls need to hear it. They need to hear there's a way that seemeth right unto a man, but to end thereof are the ways of death. Is everybody alright? They need to hear that all the ways of a man are right in his own eyes. But God, but God weigheth the matter. God's going to judge the hearts. Is everybody alright? There's a judgment day coming and they need to hear it. Amen. Men need to hear the Word of God being preached. Why? Because men are dying and going to hell. Men are walking the streets without God. People are leaving the churches in droves because the Word of God ain't being preached. Is everybody alright? Amen. They go and their lifestyle starts to slip outside the boundaries of the book. And no man will get up and call them out on it. Is everybody alright? And the first thing you know, they get so far out in sin. Amen. They just walk away from the church. Amen goes right there. That's exactly what's happened in a lot of cases. So as I begin to think about that, I'm going to try to rush. Amen. Try to hurry. Amen. He said in chapter 3, this know also. He's giving us a warning here. He's actually telling us what to look for. He said, this know also that in the last days, when is that? I believe it's the days in which we're living. I'm going to read this scripture right here. But if it don't line up with everything that's going on out there, is everybody all right? They need to hear the word of God being preached. Amen, but we've got them, they're afraid to preach. Any more, Brother Darrell? I'm telling you, when the church starts trying to act like the world to win the world, they've lost them. Is everybody all right? We need to be different. We need to look different. Amen, I ain't saying you got to walk up in here in a suit and a tie. Somebody say amen right there. That's not what I'm talking about. Amen? Amen, but they ought to be able to look at us and say, hey, something might be a little different back there. They don't look just exactly like us. They don't walk just exactly like us. They don't talk just exactly like us. They don't dress just exactly like us. Is everybody okay? Amen. So as I begin to read it, he said in chapter 3 verse 1, this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. What's that? That's dangerous times. But if we're not living in a time of danger, when you can't even go to the store, I'm talking about physical danger. Bodily danger. Everybody alright? Can't let your girls and your wives and your daughters go off by themselves. Because some pervert will grab them. Is everybody okay? But we don't want to talk like that. We don't want to reckon. We don't want to think about that. But we better start thinking about it. Amen. You can't let your little boys go off because some pervert will grab them. But we're living in some dangerous times. I mean, you can't even make an error or a mistake out there because somebody will shoot you. Dangerous times. Amen? Let me read on. He said, This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. Amen. For men shall be lovers of their own selves. Ain't that something? Lovers of their own selves. Me, me, me. All about me and my little feelings. All about me and what I want. All about me. Me, me, me. I love me. I love myself. I don't care about you. I don't care how I offend you. Oh, it's just about me, me, me, me, me. Don't I look good? Ain't I good? Talk to me. That's where we're at. Lovers of their own selves. Taking selfies, amen. How many followers can I get? Right? Oh, I'm an influencer. Somebody say amen. And the ladies get out there half-dressed and half-naked. Is everybody alright? Trying to get somebody to follow them. Hit that like button. Oh, lovers of their own selves. Amen. Men get all pumped up, tattooed up. Is everybody okay? Walk around, shave their heads, act like they're cool. Is everybody alright? Oh, it's preaching time now, amen. Hallelujah right there. I even got mad at the devil. Amen goes right there. I'm talking about, buddy, they'll pump herself up. They'll take all kind of steroids and get real big. Take her shirts off. Say, look at me, don't I look good? Ain't I super cool? Ain't I the man? Ain't I the one? He said, they'll be lovers of their own selves. But if we ain't living in that time, I don't know when it's gonna get here. Everybody all right? Amen. Mamas and daddies want their kids to follow the people of Hollywood and find a good hero. I'm telling you what we ought to do, ought to be pointing them to the men and women in that Bible right there. Say, find you a hero in that book and follow them, hallelujah. Amen. He said, in the last days, perilous times will come. Men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers. What's that? They're just against God and godliness. Everybody all right? That's blasphemy, amen? That that's going against God, that that's working against God. The UK just passed a law, you can't even pray for nobody. Not even in private. Not even if they ask you. You can't lay hands on somebody in the church, Jesse, and pray for them. They can lock you up in the UK. You know they just passed that law. Ain't that something? That's blasphemy. That's against God. They're going to have to lock me up if they pass that in America. I'm going to quit praying. Everybody alright? Everybody okay? I'm here to tell you, buddy, this is what's going on. They're doing the same kind of garbage in Canada. Is everybody all right? Don't need them as the 51st state. Oh, I felt a little itch right there now. Some of y'all think we should, I'm telling you right now. They're a bunch of ungodly people up yonder in their government too, just like ours. Somebody say amen. Amen. Said they're ungodly. Blasphemers. This is what he said. This know also that in the last days perilous times have come. Men shall be lovers of their own self. Covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers. Disobedient to parents. I didn't write this. Don't get mad at me. See, that's where we're at in America. That's where we're at, not even in America, that's where we're at in the church. The man of God get up, preach the word of God, and people in the church get mad. What do you think it does to them out there? Is everybody okay? When the children of God don't even want to hear the word of God being preached. But he said, I charge you. This don't ever need to change. This is our last line of defense, church. It's the Word of God. Amen. If they take that away, and the preaching of the Word of God, and if we lose that, we're going to lose it all. So listen to this. Let me move on. It said to be disobedient to parents. Unthankful. I'm just letting that sink in. Unthankful. Wow. Holy. It don't take much. Just ride up and down the road. Ride through downtown Old Town Conyers. You'll see unholy. Everybody okay? He said, just know also that in the last days, these are the things that's coming. Friend, these are the things that's already here. I'm just trying to show us we're in the last days. And so when we get down to chapter four, he's telling us, after he tells us all about the last days, to preach the word. Because the time's coming when they will not endure it. But he didn't tell us to stop. He said even in the off season, even when it's out of season and men don't want to hear it, he does not give us the option to lay it down and to stop preaching it. He said, preach the word of business in this season and out of this season. He said, listen to this. He said, men will be unthankful and unholy, verse three, without natural affections. Is everybody all right? I'm just gonna say it like this, sir. You don't look that good. You ain't that cute. You ain't that handsome. Sir, sir, I hate to tell you, Amen. I'd rather kiss the end of a northbound mule on the southbound side than to kiss you in the mouth, because you ain't that cute. I ain't seen the man that's that cute. Is everybody okay? Now, my grandboys, that's a different story. I'll kiss them right on the head or on the cheek. My granddaughters, I'll kiss them right on top of the head or on the cheek. Is everybody okay? Like Brother John said, my wife, I'll kiss her right in the mouth. But you won't. The only thing on me that's going to touch your lips, sir, is if your lips touch my wife, my fist will touch your lips. You might whoop me all up and down the road, but I'm going to get that first one in. Right? That's right. Amen. Hallelujah. I don't know how we got off on that. Without natural affection. Man, we're in a mess. And this ain't just an America thing. Are you hearing me? This is a global... This is going all over the world, what I'm reading right here, right now. without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent. Amen? Basically they have no self-control, no morals, incontinent. Amen? Fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures, more than lovers of God. What feels good to the flesh? Everybody alright? And this kind of preaching right here don't feel good to the flesh if we're living in it. Somebody say amen right there. If we're more in tune with our flesh than our spiritual man, this kind of preaching right here will make us uncomfortable. This kind of preaching right here will make us irritated. This kind of preaching right here will just about make us mad. We ain't careful. I didn't write it. I didn't write it. Amen? But God told me, His Word of God, the Word tells me that I'm to preach it. Because this is the Word of God. He said, Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such, turn away. Go with me down to verse number 12. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. You've got to make up your mind. Are you willing to take that stand? Are you willing to live godly in Christ Jesus? If you do, friend, you're going to suffer some persecution. And it's probably not going to be from somebody you don't even know. It's probably going to be somebody that's close to you. Probably going to be somebody in your family that you love and you care about. Somebody that may be a good friend. Amen. And they love living out in the world, living in the flesh. Amen. You start trying to live godly in Christ Jesus. Amen. They're going to rub up against you. They're going to run up against you. They're going to bow up against you. They're going to turn on you. Is everybody alright? They're going to start talking about you. Amen. They're going to become your enemy. See, we just got to make up our mind. Are we willing to live godly in Christ Jesus? Are we willing to turn our back on the world? And I don't mean turn it on the world. Amen. And not witness to them and not love them. I'm talking about turn it on the world and come out from among them and live separate and be a child of God and live godly in Christ Jesus. Are we willing to do that? Because if we are, amen, it's not always going to be a bed of roses. But the blessings are going to outweigh, amen, all the persecutions. Are you hearing me? I haven't been this way too long. So he said, Yea, in all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Now you listen to this verse 14. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned. Amen, we've learned some things through the Word of God about how we as a child of God ought to live. How we as a child of God ought to present ourselves. How we as a child of God ought to walk. He said, but continue thou the things which thou hast learned. Amen, and has been assured of. You know the Word of God will assure you. Amen, and listen to this, and has been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. Amen, that's why it's real important. That's why it's real important. to have a spirit-filled preacher in your life. Somebody that'll get in the Word of God and study the Word of God and find out the mind of God. Is everybody all right? Somebody that won't be arrogant, somebody that won't try to pump their self up, but somebody that won't be trying to pedal their self off to you, but somebody that's always pushing the Word of God. Somebody that's always trying to hand you the Bible. Amen in a sense. Is everybody all right? Somebody's trying to give you scripture to live by. Somebody say amen. Amen. You better know that man. Amen. You better know that you can trust Him around your spouse. You better know you can trust Him around your kids. You better know you can trust Him when He's in that pulpit preaching the Word of God, making sure it ain't something false doctrine. Somebody say amen. Ain't something some other bird down the road's teaching. That's out of the will of God. Is everybody all right? You better know who you're listening to. You better know who your children's listening to. Somebody say amen right there. We just give them complete access to the internet. You better be careful doing that because you don't know who they're listening to. Amen. You don't know who's assuring them of what's right and what's wrong. Amen. That's why they're so secretive at schools. Won't tell their parents they changed their pronoun. Everybody okay? Back when I was coming along, if a counselor took a 12-year-old, 11-year-old, 10-year-old, down to a doctor and had some kind of perverted surgery done to them, or give them some kind of medication, they would lock them up. They would put them in jail, amen, you all right? Amen, for child molestation. Amen, what in the world has happened to us? When they can say it ain't their parents, they don't need to know. You don't need to know what they're teaching right now. They don't have to tell you what they're doing to him, Jesse. That's what some states say. Everybody okay? This is the last days. This is the last days. Amen. Brandy, you don't need to know, amen, that she's not going by Marley at school. She's going by Mickey. She wants to be Mickey. They don't have to tell you nothing. She wants to cut her hair off and be a boy. Is everybody okay? They say they don't have to tell you. Tyler, knowing of whom thou has learned these things. But it's up to us to protect these little ones. Is everybody okay? Tell them what's right. Why do you preach like that and try to tell them these things? Because the school is warping their mind telling them what's wrong. Everybody okay? Amen. Last days. Last days. Amen. Somebody said it ain't going on in Georgia. I hope to God it ain't. I really do. Amen. But you mark her down, honey. If things keep going like they're going, it might not be long and it will be going on in Georgia. That's serious business. He said, But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, and has been assured of, knowing whom thou hast learned them. And that from a child, that from a child, that from a child, thou hast known the Holy Scriptures. Some of y'all, and I'll say it like this, some of y'all was raised right here in this church. You know what you've been taught your whole life from the Holy Scriptures. You've been taught right, you know you have. Some may be in here, amen, and maybe you was raised right. You learn what the scripture said, you know what's right. Maybe you've drifted away from it. Doesn't make you evil, doesn't even make you lost. Amen, but sometimes we just need to get back to what we know is right. As from a child, what we were taught was right. I'm telling you right now, the 70s, they might have produced the hippies. Everybody okay? They may have had the hippies in the 70s. Amen, and started smoking dope and all that. But man, I'm just telling you, in the 70s, buddy, they were just things you didn't do. They were still things you did that was right. Amen, that they're saying is wrong today. They were things that was wrong back then that even the hippies wouldn't do. Is everybody okay? And now it's just wide out and open. He said that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. I want to read this and I'm going to be done here in just a minute. He said all Scripture. Where do we start? Preach the Word, the Scripture. Because this is what it will do for us. Amen. He said all Scripture. Listen to this. is given by inspiration of God and is profitable. That word profitable means yielding, bringing gain. Amen. The Scripture, the Word of God being preached in your life, amen, will produce, will bring gain in your life. Is everybody alright? It will profit you, amen, to hear what the Scripture say. Not push it aside, not get bent out of shape about it, Is everybody okay? I know my delivery, it's not eloquent as some men. God didn't call me to be eloquent. God called me to preach the word. He said it pleased God at the foolishness of preaching. Is everybody okay? All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine. There's that word again, doctrine. Amen. It'll teach you what is right. The Scripture, the Word of God will teach you what is right. Amen. Not only that, it's not only profitable for doctrine, but for reproof. That word reproof, it means proof, it means conviction, it means that by which a thing is proved or tested. Amen. It will endure. It will endure. Amen. Listen to this, in 1828 it says, to bring blame expressed to the face. Wow. That word reproof. That word reproof will point out your sin in your life. And it will help you to recognize what's wrong. Everybody okay? Y'all quiet this morning. Amen. It will censure for a fault. Amen. It will bring to blame and express to the face. Amen. And not only is it good for doctrine and for reproof, for correction. For correction when we are outside the boundaries of the book. When we have allowed things in our life to get out of balance. Is everybody okay? When we have allowed things in our life that shouldn't be there, or we've allowed things to get out of our life that should be there, is everybody okay? Like the Word of God. Like prayer. Like a church. Somebody say Amen. Like Holy Ghost preaching. You ain't never going to live right unless you're sitting under Holy Ghost preaching. Everybody okay? I don't care what you think. Amen. You ain't going to get it off the TV, off the internet. You're going to have to go to a house of God, sit under a man of God that will get a Holy Ghost on him and the fire of God will fall down. Amen. And it will bring correction in our lives. Amen right there. Correction, the act, the act, the act of correcting. The act, the act, the act of bringing back, listen to this, from error or from deviation to a just standard in your life. Also truth, rectitude or justice as the correction of opinions or manners. Boy, if we ain't living in a time when people need to be corrected about manners. In scriptural language, it's whatever tends to correct the moral conduct and bring back from era of sin. That word rectitude just stuck out to me. And I looked that up. I know y'all probably know what it means. But I had to look it up. Rectitude, listen to this. in morality, righteousness of principle or practice, uprightness of mind, exact conformity to truth or to the rules prescribed for moral conduct. Amen. Rectitude to bring back. Amen. From immoral conduct to moral conduct. Either by divine or human laws. Amen ain't my laws, but this Bible. Somebody said that Bible tells me everything I can't do. No, what that Bible does is tell you everything we can do. Problem is we want to go outside of what we can do. We get married, we take vows. We take vows when we get married. We stand up here in front of God and everybody. Amen. And we promise to love that person. Amen. Till death do us part. And forsaking all others. And forsaking all others. Somebody say Amen right there. And forsaking all others. Give yourself wholly unto them. Amen right there. Guess what? That tells me everything I can do. I can love my wife. Amen. I can be intimate with my wife. I can kiss my wife, but I can't kiss your wife. Is everybody okay? There's rules, amen, in the marriage. There's rules in walking with God. It's not what we can't do. It's what God allows us to do. We just want to break the rules. That's what happens when you are an adulterer, sir. You have broken the rules of your marriage. You have broken the rules of your vows. Is everybody all right? And when we decide to step outside the boundaries of that book right there, and what's being preached under Holy Ghost anointing, we've broken the rules of God. And then we want to complain. Amen. You step outside of your marriage, sir, and tell your wife, well, you know, you just got all these rules. Sir, she will poke your eyeballs out. She will take them tongs and pull your tongue out and cut it off. Is everybody okay? And if she won't, you ain't married to the right one. Trust me, I don't see no woman up in here, her husband come home and say, you know what, honey, I met the little hussy down at the store, we had a good time. Oh, well, that's so nice. I really wish you wouldn't do that. I don't see one woman in here to do that. Amen. I see what I see is a woman that will go to jail. That's right. Brother Eric said we'd have a church full of women and no men. Amen, because we'd have a bunch of funerals. Amen. It would quickly become a prison house ministry. I'd have to go visit all the ladies in prison. Because they would kill every one of y'all. Is everybody okay? Oh, y'all know I'm telling it right. Amen. Working, taking care of that woman. Amen. And you want to take your money off over there somewhere to some other hussy. You think she's going along with that. And that's how we do God, though. God saved us. We got to a place in our life where we were broken. Where we come to God and said, oh God, oh God! I don't wanna go to hell, God, I can't take it no more! Oh God, oh Jesus! And he came down and he saved us! Man, and he put joy in our heart. Amen, where we didn't have none. And He gave us peace in our mind. Amen. When we was at war with ourselves. Everybody all right? Amen. And then we get to a place where we say, well God, you just ain't good enough no more. God, I know you blessed me and everything. I know you gave everything. I know you've been supplying my needs. That rectitude will bring us back from that state. Is everybody okay? That's that correction. We've got to have it in our life. From the pulpit down, I need correction. Is everybody okay? That's why I said preach the word, that's what it'll do. It'll bring correction, it'll bring rectitude. Amen. It'll bring us, amen, from an immoral state to a moral state. Amen. Rectitude of mind is the disposition, listen to this, to act in conformity to any known standard. We've learned it as a child. We were taught it as a child, the standard. It'll bring us back to having standards in our life. Is everybody okay? And I'm not talking about where I'm better than you. Those ain't standards, that's arrogance. But we have standards. Amen. Brother Eric was talking this morning and I started to say it. It's not that we're better. We don't hate the sinner. We just hate the sin. We will not partake of it with them, but we will love them and as soon as they're ready to come back in, we will accept them. Right? We're not better than them. It's but by the grace of God that we're not out there in a hog pen. Is everybody okay? Let us never forget that. But what can happen with the correction of the Word of God is it will bring us back to what we know, to the known standards that we know is right. There's just some things we know we shouldn't do. I'm sorry, you know, you know you shouldn't stop by the bar, drink 12 drinks and get in your car and drive home. And you run off the road and run over some child and kill them and run off and go home and get in the bed and cry and weep and think you're okay and think it's over, you know, you didn't mean to do it. Sorry, you knew better before you done it. There's standards we ought to have. Now, I mean, those are just, But I'm talking about spiritual standards in our life. Perfect rectitude belongs only to God. Somebody say amen. He's the only one that has perfection. But listen to this, but the more nearly the rectitude of men approaches to the standard of the divine law, listen to this, the more exalted and dignified is their character. Amen? The closer you get to the standards of the laws of God, this book right here, the better your character is going to be. The easier it's going to be to follow him. Want of rectitude is not only sinful, but debasing. Amen. When you decide to disregard those standards and disregard the morality that you know you ought to have, it'll bring you down. That's what he's saying. But the Word of God will correct us. The Word of God will bring us back up. Amen. Humble yourselves therefore unto the mighty hand of God, and what? He, He will lift you up. So it brings correction. It's good not only for correction, but for instruction. Instruction, the act of teaching or informing the understanding in that of which it was before ignorant. But it'll give us instruction in righteousness. How to be righteous. How to be holy. Instructions in righteousness. Righteousness is purity of heart. Oh, our heart gets dark and gets dirty from time to time. Somebody say amen. But the instruction will bring us back to a clean heart. It'll bring us to repentance. Is everybody okay? That's how we get our heart clean, is we repent. The Word of God needs to be preached. Amen. The Word of God needs to be preached. I want to go to Mark. Look at this in Mark. Jesus gives us a warning about hell. The Word of God needs to be preached because people are dying and going to hell. The Word of God needs to be preached in these last days because hell is real. Mark chapter 9. I'm going to read a few verses here. Verse number 42. And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck than he were cast into the sea. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off. For it is better for thee to enter into life maimed than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched." I don't believe in hell, preacher. It doesn't matter. Jesus Christ says it's real. He says it's a real place. The problem is preachers won't preach it anymore. People will laugh at them. Oh, it's not real. No, it is very real. What does Jesus say about it? to be cast into hell, into fire that never shall be quenched, in verse 44, where their worm doth not, and the fire is not quenched, verse 45. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off. It is better for thee to enter halt in the life than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. where their worm doth not, and the fire is not quenched. Verse 47, And if that eye offend thee, pluck it out. It is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire. Jesus calls it hell fire. It's a real place. It's a literal burning hell fire. It's a place where the fire is never quenched. It's a place where the Word, that's your soul, never dies. It'll never be burnt up. It'll just burn for eternity. We've got to preach the Word to warn the lost that there's a hell to shun and a heaven to gain because people are dying without God and going to hell fire. That's why the Word's got to be preached. Amen. 1 Timothy 1.15 says, This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Amen. Jesus came to save sinners. Sinners need to hear that. The Word needs to be preached in the day in which we live. It never needs to be stopped being preached. Amen. Luke 19.10, for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. That's what He came for. They need to recognize. Amen. Yes, He loved them. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Yes, they need to hear that. But they also need to hear, if they're not saved and poured again, they will be cast into hell fire. Why? Not because I said it, but because the Word of God said it. And that was Jesus. I need to be warned that the time will come, though, the time will come, Brother Darrell, when they will not endure sound doctrine. What's that? This preaching today. This preaching. They won't endure it. They won't stay around for it. They won't hear it much. Is everybody all right? They'll make excuses. Amen. They'll talk about you. We got to make up our mind. Are we willing to live godly in Christ Jesus and suffer persecution? To warn them, to tell them. Amen. These are the last days. What are you going to do? Mama, daddy, deacon, preacher. I'm just a lay member. I don't hold a position. That's all right. You've been saved. You've been born again. You've been washed in the blood. Amen. You've been called to witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. That's right. Them kids run up and hug you. You know why? Because they ain't scared of me. I ain't never hurt one of them. And I never would, I've never put my hands on one the wrong way. Is everybody okay? Amen. I could look around here, three or four of these girls, five of them, six of them, that was raised in this church right here, have spent tonight at my house with my daughters, have been on vacation with me and my family, my daughters, and you can ask any one of them, I've never, Never put my hands on them in any wrong way. Is everybody okay? Amen. But there's some preachers, amen, I wouldn't let my daughters ride up the road with them. There's some, I wouldn't let my daughter sit on the bench next to them and I'm sitting there. Is everybody okay? Is everybody alright? Amen goes right, but you can ask them. Amen. I've got nieces in here. Uncle Pokie ain't never put his hands on them in any wrong way. Uncle Pokie ain't never tried to get them to come off and go by their self with him. Is everybody okay? Amen. Well, you hug all these girls. You know why? Because most of them's uncle. I was there when most of them was born. I held them, amen, in my arms and prayed over them when they were born, amen, before they were even 24 hours old. Amen. Is everybody all right? Oh, yeah. Well, we better get back to living right, but we better get back to knowing who we're listening to. Is everybody okay? Amen. I'm going to tell you this. You mark it down. Stand up, Brother Eric. I'll hug you like this. Amen. Come here, Brandy, if you don't mind. This is my niece, one of them. I hug her all the time. I've been hugging her since she was that big. I hug her like that. Amen. Let me tell you something, sir. You hug one of these girls around here, you don't rub your hand up and down their back. Is everybody okay? You don't rub your hand up and down their back? Is everybody all right? Amen. Come here, big John. You hug one of your girls around here, you're gonna do this. Come on. They trying to get away. Oh, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you saying this. How much I appreciate you. I think you're such a good, lonely person. Hard walk. You're a pervert. You're a pervert. Amen right there. Is everybody okay? That ain't how you do it, boys. Amen. That's how I do it. I might hug my wife that way, but I ain't going to be hugging your wife that way. You might hug your wife that way, but you better not hug my wife that way. You better not hug one of my daughters that way unless you're her husband. And then I really don't even want to see that. Y'all daddies ain't got a clue. You wait till their wedding night. I had some more I was going to say. Why do we need to preach the Word of God? We're living in the last days. There's things going on. People need to know what's right and what's wrong. And the Word of God will teach us. It'll convict us. It'll correct us. It'll give us instruction and righteousness on how to live right. Somebody make your way to the piano this morning. I know I'm no Brother Kenny, Brother John, I'm just me. Amen. But I ain't about to change, boys. Oh man, that revival was good. Didn't it do us good? Didn't it change us? Draw us closer to Him? And that's a good thing. That's a good change. Man, it changed the Smith family forever. Forever. Changed them. Tell you some things we don't need to let change. preaching the Word of God. Amen. Under Holy Ghost anointing. That's why I get the men in here to preach these revivals I get. I want men that's got Holy Ghost on them. Whatever preaches to us what's right where we can get revived. I need it. I love you. I love everyone in here this morning. Amen. I do. I love you. Appreciate you. This morning. I preach the way I preach brother Eric, because I do love you. And I love your family. Amen. I want you. I want you families to have everything God's got for me, man. I mean, I love you. I wouldn't do nothing to hurt you. Amen. I'm going to say this because we got some that probably wasn't here. We had a pedophile try to visit this church one time. Oh yeah, big old fella, about as big as John, really big old man, tall, big. My daughter found him on watchdog. He's in here and he was wanting to talk to the children and everything. She called me on a Monday. I said, whoa, wait a minute. I called the deacons. I met them on Tuesday. I said, this fellow here, you know, he's been visiting for a few months. He's been talking to some of the boys. I said, he can't come here. We got too many children. I said, but you know, those churches up down this road right now that ain't got nothing but old people. Ain't got no youth. Ain't got no young people. And if he really wants to get right with God, he can go to one of them. Everybody okay? Deacon said, okay preacher what you gonna do? I said, y'all gonna meet me up here Wednesday before church. I said, I'm gonna handle him. He's not coming back in here. Y'all not be that way. No, no, no. You see these little ones. It's my responsibility to keep them safe. I believe God could bring them back and get them right. Somebody say amen. I'm not against that, but not here. What'd you do, preacher? I met him out there. He pulled up early, sitting in his van. He's out there hunting, what he's doing. He got out of the van, started walking this way. I told him, I said, come on, boys. I just walked on out there. The deacon's behind me. You know what he'd done? He'd seen us, so he turned and started going that way, going to go around us. What'd you do? I just turned and walked on over there. I said, we found it. He said, what can I do for you? I said, we found it. What are you talking about? I said, don't play dumb. You know what I'm talking about. We found you on watchdog. Oh. I said, now I'm just telling you, being nice, get back in your van and leave. You can ask the Deacons. I was real nice. I said, and I'm telling you now, if you come back, we're going. He said, don't you threaten me. And he stepped toward me. What'd you do? I turned around and took off running. I just stepped right on up in his face. I said, let me tell you something. What'd he do? He backed down then. I said, get in your van and leave. I said, don't come back. I said, you can go to these churches that don't have any young people if you truly want to get right with God. Why do you like that? Because we have to be in the day in which we live. Because it's too dangerous. Could you imagine? Could you imagine? I don't know why I'm off on this. Him in that bathroom. and one of these boys going in there, do you know who their daddies are? Brother John said, man, y'all's church, y'all got men. I said, yeah, we got men. He said, no, he said, y'all really got, y'all got like alpha male men. I said, I know. He said, you cannot pastor them being soft. They would hurt, they would be in jail, because they'd have killed that man. Somebody said, well, that won't happen. He went off over here to another church. They let him stay for about six months and he molested the assistant pastor's grandson. So don't tell me what was that Holy Ghost was looking out for us. That's why it's so important the day in which we live. I wouldn't hurt ne'er one of them. Amen. To know who they're listening to. There's so much on that internet out there. If they could get their hands on some of these Was it Brother John? I think it was Brother John was telling me and I don't know why I'm on this. Friend of theirs, they was at some place playing with the kids, had a bunch of kids there and their churches, two or three different churches was there and different people and all of a sudden this guy got to looking for his daughter and she wasn't there. She went to the restroom. Well, they went to the restroom and she wasn't there so they immediately went and told the people, man they locked everything down and started watching people as they were leaving, they had to show their kids. Everybody had to leave, and they brought their kids by one by one by one. And this guy come walking up through there, holding his kid, had him wrapped up in a blanket, had him wrapped up in a blanket, little red-headed boy, had him wrapped up in a blanket. I mean, they were looking for that man's blonde-headed daughter. And they said, we need to see your kid. Oh, he's sleeping. He's sleeping, done like that so they can see his hair. Said, no, no, no, no. We need to look right in his face, or right in his face. They picked that kid's head up. Daddy, look. They had drugged his daughter. She was asleep and cut her hair off real short and dyed it and changed her clothes. This was folks down there with church groups. Is everybody okay? But John said, that man started, that's my daughter. That boy had to get a hold of that man quick. Amen. These things are, I don't know why I'm on this. Let us be vigilant and watch. Watch your children when you're off with them. Watch your children. This is the world we live in. This is the last days. Men are evil and wicked, unholy. Are you hearing me? And I wouldn't wish that on anybody. I love you. Amen. I got to hush this morning.
