If you have a birthday this month,
will you please stand? I think we've got a few. It's
a pretty good list, so let's see how close we can get. All
right. Well, let's all join in and sing
happy birthday to these folks. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday. God bless you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy
birthday. God bless you. Happy birthday
to you. All right. Amen. And then we're
going to move on to prayer here this morning. So Eric, would
you get started there? Thank you. Father God, we love
you. We thank you that you brought
us together to worship you today in spirit and in truth. I pray
for everyone who's got heavy hearts this morning, that they
would just lift that up to you, and that we just thank you, Lord,
that you're the God of comfort, and just pray that you'd lay
your healing hand upon them, and anyone who's got any hurts,
lay that on them as well, Lord. I pray that you'd be with Pastor,
that his message would reach our hearts, and that we would
really consider it and dwell on it, and just really think
about it, meditate upon it, Lord, and try to apply it in our lives,
Lord. We love you and thank you for
this time of worship. Just lift up the name of Jesus right now,
amen. Amen. Let's all stand together for
a scripture reading this morning. That's gonna be Hosea 14, verses
four to seven. I will heal their backsliding. I will love them freely, for
mine anger is turned away from him. I will be as the dew unto
Israel. He shall grow as the lily and
cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and
his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow
shall return. They shall revive as the corn,
and grow as the vine. The scent thereof shall be as
the wine of Lebanon. Amen. And our first hymn this
morning is going to be the Lily of the Valley, and that's hymn
189 in your book if you're following along there. I have found a friend in Jesus
He's everything to me He's the fairest of ten thousand to my
soul The lily of the valley in Him alone I see All I need to
cleanse and make me for You In sorrow He's my comfort, in trouble
He's my stake, He tells me every care on Him to roll. He's the lily of the valley,
the bright and morning star, He's the fairest of ten thousand
to my soul. All my grief has taken And all
my sorrow's worn In temptation He's my strong and mighty tower
I have all for Him forsaken, and all my eyes from my heart,
and now He keeps me by His power. Though all the world forsake
me, and Satan tempts me so, through Jesus I shall safely use the
gold. He's the lily of the valley,
the bright and morning star He's the fairest of ten thousand to
my soul He will never, never leave me nor yet forsake me While
I live by faith and do His blessed will I have nothing now to fear. With His banner He now hungry
souls shall fear. And sweetly enough to glory,
to see His blessed face, where rivers of delight shall never
roll. He's the lily of the valley,
the bright and morning star. He's the fairest of ten thousand
to my soul. He's the lily of the valley,
the bright and morning star. He's the fairest of 10,000 to
my soul. Amen. Will you please be seated? And our second hymn this morning
