From the bottom of my heart,
I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and
your hospitality this week. Being with you has revived and
put wind in my sails. I want you to know I'll be praying
for you, praying for your pastor. We face a very difficult fight
nowadays, but it is the good fight. It's the only fight worth
really fighting, is to fight for the cause of Christ. I want
to caution you, if you'll allow me, when a church is prayed up
and on fire for the Lord, like Faith Missionary Baptist Church
is, There will be distractions. There will be things that will
try to hinder you from serving the Lord. There will be breaks
and threats to unity. Churches all experience the same
thing. I've been in Kentucky and Tennessee and Indiana and
we're all the same. When things start going good
and you really start serving the Lord and you get close to
the Lord, the flesh will kick back. It'll fight back. And I
want you to just have encouragement in that fight, just to keep striving
and keep serving the Lord, keep loving one another, keep loving
Christ, keep loving His Word, keep praying, keep serving the
Lord. I tell you, the Bible tells us,
let us not grow weary in well-doing, for we shall reap in due time
if we think not. There's always that threat. You
see, it was Jonah who preached and Innova got saved and you
turn the chapter over and you think the guy'd be happy, but
he's complaining about a gourd. And so it is all through the
Bible. If somebody has a great victory, we remember Elijah on
Mount Carmel. I mean, he threw down with all
those prophets. I mean, he said, bring it. Your false God is nothing. He must be in the bathroom. He's
not going to answer you. Our God answered him. But you
turn the chapter over and he's in a cave hiding from a wicked
woman named Jezebel. My point is this, is keep serving
the Lord. You know, I know that a lot of
prayer, a lot of effort, a lot of preaching, a lot of praying
has gone into this effort. And whether we've truly been
revived is if we continue to serve the Lord. If we've been,
if the seeds and the seeds have been planted very deep this week,
if those seeds will spur you to a greater commitment, a greater
love, a greater unity, a greater effort towards the things of
God, that's how we'll know if we've had revival this week.
I want to thank God for seeing the convicting power of God.
and for God gloriously saving someone. That's what it's all
about. Let us not forget that that is
the quest that we are on. Our music will get better in
heaven. I'm expecting it. I'll be able to sing better in
heaven. But there's one thing we cannot do in heaven. And that's evangelize. That's
tell lost people how they can be saved. How they can find the
Lord. God help us to keep our eyes
upon Christ and remember that what truly matters is seeing
people get saved. Bringing him honor and glory
by spreading the word, Jesus saves. Now, I went back and forth
this week, today. I wanted to pray something encouraging. I was like, well, I'll go out
on a good note, preach something warm and preach something fluffy.
But the Lord got a hold of me, and I don't know if this is directed
to anybody. I can't see anybody's hearts, but the Lord does. And
so I was reminded that it's the job of the pastor to preach something
encouraging and motivating and loving. I mean, there's sometimes
the help of having a helper. Everybody's like, oh, thank God,
we got Brother Derek back. You appreciate your pastor when
you have to hear somebody like me, amen? Okay, don't amen that
one. My point tonight is my heart is very heavy. Because I was
told about a man yesterday at another sister church in town.
And I don't know the man, but I know his family very well.
Man's way up in years and does not know for sure where he's
going to go when he dies. And man's been closely associated
with the truth for many, many, many years. But there is no greater
ignorance than not knowing where you're going to go when you die.
So I'm going to preach tonight like a dying man to dying people
as if to never preach again. I want you to turn your Bibles
to Hebrews chapter 12. Hebrews chapter 12. There's one verse
that used to scare me and I mean in a good way because you need
to fear God. We live in a day when surely
the things of God like judgment day, like hell, like God's wrath,
surely that's not as important as our smartphones and video
games. God help us. We live in a society
where people's conscience and people's hearts have been hardened
by stuff that is very trivial. Look, the wrath of God is very,
very, very real. Hell is a very real and imminent
threat. My title is the final warning,
final call, my final appeal to you that are lost. See, I was
preached to all my life, but it was like, surely he's not
talking to me. He's not talking to me. Look
who's talking. Remember that movie, Look Who's
Talking with the Babies? You know, that's cute. But when
the message comes out of the pulpit, it's not coming from
the preacher. It's coming from God. We were admonished last
night of that very fact. And so this message comes on
the heels of that. Hebrews chapter 12. You can come to church, you can
hear preaching your entire life, but unless you come all the way
to Christ, you will not be saved. That verse that used to bother
me is Jeremiah 8 20. The harvest is past, the summer
is ended, and we We're not saved. You've heard
the gospel this week. For some of you, the Holy Spirit
has convicted you in your soul. For some of you, you've known
all along that it wasn't the preacher, it was God talking
to you, but you've done nothing with it. People sit in church
all their lives thinking that God's not talking to them. He
is. God is speaking to you tonight.
Like Derek and me, you begin in the first part of the Hebrew
chapter, and it starts with we have a God who speaks. In the
old times, God spoke to us through His law and through His prophets,
but today He speaks through His Word and His Son. Now you can
tune me out, you can tune anybody else out, but when God talks
to you, you better listen. You need to sit up and pay attention.
Because when God has a message and you're hearing the Word of
God, it is very for real. Do not trivialize the things
of God. They are holy. This Hebrew writer begins by
pointing to the grace and the mercy and the love of a great
God who, though we had sinned against Him, sent His Son to
die for our sins upon the cross of Calvary. I'm thankful for
that song we sung because Jesus paid it all. The Hebrew writer
goes through that, that the blood of bulls and goats and all that
Old Testament stuff really couldn't do anything but point people
to the fact that on the cross of Calvary, a Savior would die
for the sins of the whole world. Jesus paid it all. And His blood
speaks to you. And when you reject and you refuse
the gospel, you are trampling underfoot the blood of the Lord.
It is very urgent. Very important thing that when
you hear the gospel preach that you listen and you harden not
your heart. So how do you know? Because I
was a gospel hardened sinner. And it scares me that in our
churches, there are those who do the very same thing. They
plug their ears and they distract themselves. You can actually
learn. There's a science behind playing games at church. You
have played church way too long. You play church. It's not time
to play church. It's time that you come to Christ. You've heard the gospel and you
know the spirit has convicted you, but you know, playing games
to church, you are putting your soul in great danger. Will you repent or will you refuse
Jesus Christ? You remain lost. You walk out
of this revival meeting. You come to this church, but
you have not been saved. You do not have a head problem.
You have a heart problem. I'm all for apologetics, but
at some point you have got to act on the truth that you know. This week, like this Hebrew writer,
you have heard that Jesus Christ is superior to anything and everything. He is first place. He is preeminent. He is tops. There is no one higher,
no one greater, no one more wonderful than Jesus Christ. And when He
speaks, we listen. You remain lost. You need to be awakened tonight
to the very fact of what you face on the other side of that
door. The bottom line is very clear.
You are either lost or you are saved. You either know Jesus
or you don't. You are either light or you are
in darkness. You are either saved or you are
lost. You are either a sinner or you
are a saint. Which one is it? If you don't know the answer,
you need to listen tonight. Verse 25, we will start in Hebrews
chapter 12. Let's actually back up to verse
23. To the General Assembly, we are
assembled together tonight. and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven, and to God, the judge of all,
we talked about that Monday night, Sunday night, and to the spirits
of just men made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of the
new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh
better things than that of Abel. Listen, you have one disease,
you have one condition, it is called sin, and the only cure
is the blood of Jesus Christ. Without the shedding of blood,
there could be no remission for sins. No forgiveness of sins
without the blood of Jesus Christ. Your sins could not be washed
away if He did not go to the cross to die for you. This Hebrew
writer is writing to people that have heard the gospel all their
lives. They have heard the gospel, and yet they have failed to act
upon it. They have heard the gospel, but
they have refused it. They have rejected it. Their
hearts have grown cold and indifferent. They are stone cold to the fact
that they are lost and separated from God. Watson wrote, by delay
of repentance, sin strengthens and the heart hardens. The longer
ice freezes, the harder it is to be broken. You know the very
moment that the Holy Spirit convicts you is the moment you need to
quit playing games and repent? The very moment that you're convicted,
and I mean truly convicted. You can be afraid of hell, you
can be afraid of death, but when I'm talking about the Holy Spirit
of God speaking to your soul, you know when that's going on.
It's like the Holy Spirit comes out and pats you on the shoulder
and says, He's listening to you. Quit playing games. He's talking
to you. Do you have a time and place?
Have you been saved? Y'all been there, right? I have.
Boy, there was times when I would hear the preaching and I did
not want to pay attention. When it was daddy, it was kind of
like a, you know. The fact is this, your soul is
eternal. It's made in the image of God
and you are going one place or another and you need to mark
this thing down. These people that he is writing
to are not opposed to the gospel. They're not really against the
gospel. It's just that they really don't see how it applies to them.
Listen, this does apply to you. You need to hear it because it
applies to you. I don't know your heart. Hopefully
we're all saved in here. I would love for that. Boy, we
just have a good church service. But my heart is going out to
those who do not know where they stand with the Lord. He says, and to Jesus, the mediator
of the new covenant, see that ye refuse not him that speaketh. Who's speaking? You heard it
last night. It's the Lord. For if they escape not who refused
him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape. If we, get this, are you hearing
this? Turn away from him. Turn away from him that speaketh
from heaven. So let me just ask a question.
What's the Lord been saying this week? I mean, we believe that,
that it hasn't been me, it hasn't been Derek, that the Lord has
been speaking this week. Well, the first night we learned
that God is on the throne, and you're not. The second night,
we've learned that we've all sinned. And know we've all sinned,
God says, come and let us reason. Let's think about this. Come
to me. Let's get this worked out. The
next night, we learned that there's an accepted time that Jesus passes
by. Jesus has passed by this way.
And you refused him. He said to come and let's reason,
but you said, I don't think so. We've learned that there's a
heaven and there's a hell, Does that not bother you? The next night, we learned that
we must enter the narrow gate. But you sat in the pew. Tonight,
the scripture says, do not refuse him that speaks. We gloriously heard that if you're
thirsty, you can come to the waters. Is your soul thirsty? Many witnesses we learned Thursday
night can tell you that this is true. That Jesus' death, burial,
and resurrection is fact, Jack. But you play with it in your
mind. You need to get this nailed down. Tonight, he says, do not
refuse. all week. He has commanded you
to repent and to believe, to turn from your sins and put your
faith and trust in him. Knowing the fact that Jesus bled,
he suffered, he died just to save you. How can you say no,
thank you? Knowing that He left glory above
to come to this sinful world to keep the law, to die the death
that you deserve to die, how can you refuse Him who speaks
to you? I beg you tonight that if you
do not know Him, make you an altar somewhere. You don't even
have to wait till I get done with this message. You turn around
and you just pray and you call upon God and you see for yourself
if he does not answer you. God speaks and he will answer
to you. You call to him and he will speak back. That's not yakety
yak. I'm talking about something spiritual.
That you can commune with God and know where you stand and
where you go when you die. You need to hear from him. Well,
what does God say in this text? Well, we heard the song. Jesus
paid it all. All to him we owe. Lost person,
saved person, thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ. Where
would we be if he did not go and shed his blood to save us?
He drank the cup of the Father's wrath for us. Surely that means
something to you. Without it, There'd be no cure. Listen, Jesus Christ upon the
cross, the message of the cross, we preach Christ and Him crucified. It's way too important of a message
for you to not give a response. You will either come to Him or
you will reject Him. It's one of the two. You've sinned, but the great
news is that even while we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died
for us. He will save you today. He is
alive forevermore, seated at the Father's right hand. He will
hear you when you pray. Repent. Believe. Submit. Surrender. Commit. But whatever you do, do not do,
verse 25, See to it that you do not refuse
him. Don't reject him. There's an
old song and some of you may remember it. The song says, were
you there when they crucified my Lord? Oh, it causes me to
tremble, tremble, tremble. Listen, until you can see that
by faith, not only were you there when they crucified the Lord,
but you were the reason why He was crucified, you'll never be
saved. You were there. It was for your
sins. It was for your iniquities. It
was for your transgressions that He died upon the cross. Why refuse Him? You reject Him. turn from Him, you refuse Him,
there will be absolutely no hope for your soul. Does that make any sense? Are you with me? Am I talking
in a box? Actually, unless the Holy Spirit
gets a hold of His Word, I kind of am. I pray that you will listen
to the Lord tonight, because He's speaking. The question is,
is are you gonna answer? You must answer. You shut your
ears to him, you play games with him, and God help your soul. God help us as believers, as
saved people, if we play church. God help us to save people if
we refuse to listen to him who's speaking to us. This is serious. There's eternal
consequences to the way that we go to church. It ain't no
social club. It ain't no country club. There's
ramifications for us that turn from Him. When He lets you know
that you are lost, that you are separated, that you are accountable,
that you are convicted, right then you need to turn from Him. Why? Because if you turn and
reject Him, you will harden your own heart. The more you go like
this, the harder it's gonna be. The question is, is how long
are you gonna go like that? I think most of us that are lost
have been that way. Some people get saved real quick.
Some of us that grow up in church, sadly, it kind of works the opposite
way sometimes. We tend to go longer. Why? Because
it takes more to try to convict us. Our hearts get hard. Oh,
bring it. Yeah, bring it. I'm not bothered.
I'm not bothered. I'm not bothered. No. The very
second that the Holy Spirit convicts you, you need to turn to Him. Whatever you do, do not go to
hell. You know, as a parent, we warn
our children about many things, don't we? I mean, with Xander,
hey, buddy, do not put your finger in the electric socket, right?
I mean, that's not good, right? Hey, do not eat that. No. I mean, don't. Don't put that
in your mouth. You know? I mean, come on. You parents,
you're women. You tell your kids, hey, hey, don't do that. You
know what, we tell them, hey, don't do drugs, don't lie, don't
cuss, don't cheat, don't, I mean, but you know what, you reject
the gospel, and none of the rest of that even matters. You can live a moral life, wonderful,
great, but you know what, if you reject the gospel, you will
be committing the worst sin that there has ever been committed.
You play with God when he talks to you, There's no forgiveness
for that. Listen to him. Hebrews chapter
two says, we need to give earnest heed, that means listen, are
you listening? To the things which we have heard, lest at
any time we should slip. The more you turn your ears,
the more you harden your heart, the more you're gonna drift away
from the very truth, the only truth that will save your soul. For if the word spoken, that's
God talking, by angels was steadfast, that means unchangeable, unalterable,
they couldn't delete it, couldn't copy-paste it, couldn't white
it out, couldn't use one of those really nice little tape things
that white out, could not be changed. And every sin and disobedience
received a just penalty. How shall we escape if we neglect
such a great salvation? Be wrong about everything and
anything else. You want to sin? Go do whatever
sin you want to, but do not reject and refuse the gospel. Don't do that. When He speaks
to you, you need to listen. You need to pray. You need to
call upon Him. Get this one right. When God
spoke at Mount Sinai, there was thunder. There was lightning. The people were scared. They
trembled because God meant business. And you know what? God doesn't
change. You know what? God means business tonight. And
there is coming a day when God will mean final business. This
earth is gonna shake, but not only will the earth shake, the
heaven is gonna shake. Will that get your attention?
Or will you harden your heart to that? Every time that God's law has
been broken, there has always been a punishment. So it is today. Every single sin will be paid
for either A, by Jesus Christ upon the cross through repentance
and faith, Him taking your place and your faith being in what
He's done for you, or B, by the sinner in hell for eternity.
That's serious. It's a harsh message. But we need to hear it. And we
that are saved, it should encourage us to tell more people about
Jesus. They won't listen, I know, but
you know what? All's we can do is put it to
their ears and pray, pray as hard as we can that they will
turn and listen. We're just responsible for carrying
the message. This week, we faithfully planted many seeds, but it's
gonna take the Holy Spirit to bring that increase. We can trust
His word in that. His voice. You say, you mean
to tell me that you hear God audibly? No. I've never heard
God audibly. But you know what? When God speaks,
it's much louder than any audible voice I've ever heard. Why? Because He speaks directly into
the soul. Those things that will be shaken.
What things will be shaken? The things that you hold on to
are going to be shaken. You know what? Your cell phone
will be shaken. I broke mine again this week. Got an OtterBox
and an invisible shield. And guess what? One day that
cell phone, that computer, whatever it is that distracts you from
the fact that God is speaking to you, will one day be shaken
from you. The question is, is what are
you going to do on that day? Here you put your trust, you
put your time, you put your effort into this one thing that has
hindered your soul from being saved, and you're gonna have
that shaken and removed from you, and it will be far too late
to repent. Far too late. Listen, whether
you're saved or you're lost, God is not okay with apathy or
indifference toward him. He's not okay with that. We say,
well, yeah, okay, he forgave me. Yeah, you know what? But
the problem is this, even as believers, we're gonna stand
and give an account for everything we do and everything we say.
You know why it's important to say amen? They don't cheer. It's
not like cheering for a preacher, right? No. You know why you say
amen in church? Because you've experienced the
very truth that's being communicated. Yeah, that's right. I've experienced
that. What he's saying is true. You know, what is a sinner gonna
think when we're falling asleep in church? What's a sinner gonna
think if we're playing video games near church? Well, I mean,
there's nothing to this religion thing. And you know what? It's
not in the small times. You go your whole life like that. It explains in many ways the
situation that we're in. God is not okay. You cannot be
saved until you recognize that you're lost. Not listening to
him, you won't hear the fact that you need to be saved. We
can tell you, a preacher can tell you, a church member can
tell you, a friend can tell you, but my friend, when God lets
you know that you're lost, it is time to repent. I wish I had understood that.
Instead, I harden my heart. And I am desperately afraid of
anybody here hardening their heart. You know, I don't like
preaching these hard messages, but you know what? They're needful. Why? Because we live in a day
when people just tune out spiritual stuff. We need to look our eyes
upon the Lord and we need to hear from Him. And whatever He
says, we just need to do. Verse, chapter three, verse seven.
The Hebrew writer wrote, wherefore, as the Holy Ghost saith, today,
if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart. When the Holy
Spirit deals with your heart, you're in danger. Now, you can
think, well, I will go pray about it. I will go think about it.
I will go ask somebody else about it. But this text says, today,
harden not your heart. The Bible clearly says, behold,
today is the day of salvation. Behold, now is the accepted time. It doesn't say, go think about
it. It doesn't just say, well, just hear some more about it.
No. We need, you need, to hear the gospel and heed it, listen
to it, obey it. You need to experience this for
yourself. Hebrews 6, verse 4. For it is impossible for those
once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were
made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word
of God, and powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away,
to renew them once again to repentance." You say, what does that mean?
It does not mean you can lose your salvation. Amen? Our souls
are eternally secure. I'll tell you what it means.
Anybody been to Baskin-Robbins? You go to Baskin Robbins and
you get those little bitty spoons, right? And you can kind of taste
it and see if you want to, you know, eat that stuff or not,
right? And actually, they'll actually give you several until
they get tired and, you know, some will probably get 20 little
spoons and, you know, this is my ice cream. No, that's exactly
what this text is talking about. You come into the church, you
hear the gospel, You see the Holy Spirit moving amongst the
people of God. The Holy Spirit convicts you
of your sins. You get a little taste of the truth and you turn
from it. There is no hope for you because
what you do is you spit it out. It doesn't bother you. You're refusing. You're rejecting.
You turn from Him so long. You get just a little bit that
is almost like a flu shot. You know how flu shots work?
Right? They inject you with just a little
bit of the disease so that your immune system will fight it all
off. You know what? That is exactly what has happened
in our generation. You study the Israelites. Forty
years they would not hear or listen to God. You say, were
they saved or were they lost? We can debate it, but most likely
since they would not listen to God, they were lost. We could debate it, I could be
wrong about that. But you go your whole life and you don't
listen to God? That's not good evidence nor fruit that you've
actually got any kind of relationship with God. And yet we see that happening
all over the place. This isn't losing salvation,
it is hearing the truth, it is turning from it, it is rejecting
it, it is going your whole life in church cold and indifferent
toward it and never changed by the gospel. And that's the day we're living
in. It's feeling the power of God. It's listening to the Word
and it is hardening your heart. What will it take? Don't go to Baskin Robbins when
you go to church. You need to take in the whole
thing. You need to completely surrender to Christ. You need
to completely repent and turn to Him. The longer you play games,
the harder you're going to make it on your own self. There's
great danger in hearing the truth and the power of the Word of
God and refusing and rejecting it. You do that and what's left? Look at your Bibles. Are you
paying attention? Are you looking at your Bibles? Verse 27. This word, yet once more, the
moving of things shaken, as this word that are made, those things
which cannot be shaken. What does that mean? Only a certain
fearful looking of judgment and fiery indignation which shall
devour the adversaries. I'll just make it real plain.
Are you in Christ? Because if you're lost and you're
not in Christ, you're actually an enemy of Christ. Is that not
what He said? You're either for me or you're
against me? You're either saved or you're lost. Either you've been saved or you
haven't. Either your life has been changed
and you've been born again or you just simply haven't. Don't walk out of this revival
this week, this night, indifferent towards God. All that He's done
for you, All that he went through, the beating, the crucifying,
the pierced side, the nails in his wrist, all that he did for
you, meh, meh. Because all that will be left
is the fiery indignation. You've heard of his love? This
week, you've heard of His love. This week, you've heard of His
mercy. This week, you've heard of His grace. This week, you've
heard that God is a merciful, loving Savior. You've heard that
God is forgiving. But you know what is left for
you if you turn from that? Verse 29, our God is a consuming
fire. Saying no to the gospel, refusing
to hear when the Holy Spirit convicts you is no small sin. Go do some other sin, but certainly
don't do that one. When he speaks, we need to listen. Unbelief, that is basically what
it is, is it not? Unbelief is the refusal to listen
to the one who speaks. God's been good to you. God has
allowed you to hear the gospel time and time and time again.
God has allowed you to see his goodness. You've been allowed
to witness for yourself the saving power of God. But if you turn
from that, You need to hear the warning. None of the rest of
that would move you. You know, some people are moved
by the love of God, and we should be moved by the love of God.
Some people are moved when they hear the mercy of God. Some people
are moved and crushed in their soul when they hear about the
forgiveness of God. But those who reject, those who
refuse, those who do not listen, the only thing that is left is
judgment. That's how serious this thing
is. And we see this in this text as this writer is winding down
the rest of this book, which is highly an evangelistic book.
Because all around there were people that were going to the
synagogue and a part of these as a Jewish people, they just
never had trusted in Christ. They never really just listened. I pray that you'll hear the warning
tonight. God means business today. This is God's final invitation
here in this book. Wherefore, we receive a kingdom
which cannot be moved. Let us have grace whereby we
may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. You
know, that speaks to both saved and lost. Here's the thing. If you're truly committed to
Christ, you're going to be committed to His church. There's no such thing as a renegade
Lone Ranger Christian. If you're truly a Christian,
then you must come under the authority of a local church.
I don't know about Indiana, okay, but in Kentucky and Tennessee
we got a lot of what's called church shopping and church hopping. You need to hear from God if
you're saved and find out what He wants you and just serve Him
with all your might wherever He puts you. You may not like
it, but you know, you gotta be in the center of God's will.
So many times, I'm afraid, you know, especially, you know, you
hear, well, I didn't like this, God offended this. Great peace
have they who love thy wall. Nothing shall offend them. It's
a matter of commitment. Save people. We need to serve
God with reverence and godly fear. Why? By remembering the
wrath that we've been saved from. We need to give Him our all.
Actually, you can't be saved unless you give and surrender
everything to Christ. That'll show up in our commitment
to His church. A lot of folks don't understand
the importance of church, but I tell you, it is the most beautiful
thing in this world. You know, the best vacation I've
had is spent with you guys. This has been great. I've been
to Paris. I've been to Hawaii several times.
There's nothing that I'd rather do than be in a church house
serving God with God's people. I mean that. That sounds funny.
People at work are like, what? You're going to do a revival
for vacation? I'm like, yeah, there's no greater
place and there's no greater thing to do than serve the Lord.
Amen? Why? Because he's worthy. Because
of what he's done for us. What is a church? It is a place
where God's word is heard and obeyed. And thank God for places
like Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Lost person, the only
thing you can do is surrender. Absolute surrender. It's time
to surrender. Why? Because God is a consuming
fire. You reject Him? One day you will stand in front
of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that was crucified to
save you, and you've gone your whole life rejecting and refusing
and not paying attention to Him, and you will stand before Him
at judgment? What's He going to do to you? You rejected Him. He'll refuse you. I don't know much about fire,
but they say that restricted fire is worse than wildfire. Is it true? I don't know. I didn't
really check that stat. But hell was created for the
devil and his angels, right? When they rejected and rebelled
and refused what God had told them, and yet if you do not repent
and you never trust in Christ, that restricted fire is the place
you'll be going. It's not a game. It's not a fairy
tale. It's not for pretend. It's very
real. So real that when you hear it,
you need to listen. I'm thankful, like Derek said,
that there's a quiet spirit here tonight because I think the Lord
is trying to speak to somebody. And the question is, is will
you listen to him or you will reject him? Which way are you
going to go? I pray with all my mind that you will not reject
Him. We love you. We want to see you saved. We
want you to have what we have because there is nothing greater
than being saved. Amen? And it works a whole lot of good,
don't it? It'll change your week. No, it'll change your month.
No, it'll change your year. No, it'll change your entire
life. You get a hold of the real deal, it will. We want what's
best for you, and rejecting and refusing to hear from the Lord
is not God's best for you. In that place, there'll be weeping,
there'll be agony, there'll be gnashing of teeth, but you know
what? You don't have to go. You can come to Christ. Let me
ask you, do you even want to be saved? The only thing that's going to
prevent you is your own unbelief. When He speaks to you, we can
debate on whether or not He knocks on the heart's door. I mean,
that was actually to a church, a church that had rejected Him,
a church that had refused Him, a church where He stood on the
outside and the church wouldn't even let Him in. But I understand
what they mean because there comes a time when He speaks inside
your soul Right then is when you need to
make this thing right. Why would you play a game with
your soul? There's games you can play. There's games that
are fun. Your soul's not a game. While we have a song, I want to ask one last time,
there's life and there's death. Which one will you choose? Do
you believe what you've heard this week? Do you believe that
you need to be saved? Do you believe that Jesus Christ
will save you? That one last time will you come? Is there anybody here that the
Holy Spirit has talked to this week? And you need to make it
right. If not, this altar is open for
you. We want to pray with you, we want to pray for you, but
this is something that you're going to have to go to God for
yourself. Is he speaking to you and are
you listening? Do not go your whole life rejecting
and refusing to hear from the one who speaketh unto you. Why
don't we have a song?
