Good morning everyone Saturday morning 7th of June 2025 you know I've talked about this before but I think it bears repeating. Some people say, you're awful redundant. Yes, I am a little redundant. There's a saying out there that says, repetition is the mother of all learning, right? There are four major terms refer to Satan in the Bible Satan 49 times the devil 57 times the serpent 36 times and Lucifer one time Revelation 20 verse 2 says Excuse me, I'm still fighting a cold. He laid hold on the dragon. That's another term that's used. The dragon. Dragon. He laid hold on the dragon. That old serpent. Which is the devil. And Satan. and bound him a thousand years. Now, I've got a question. I know I'm full of questions. Has Satan been bound a thousand years? Do you know there's actually people in eschatological circles that say Satan is now bound? Can you believe that? With all the evil going on in the world saying that Satan is now bound? Are you kidding me? Wow! People actually saying that Satan is now bound. Talk about denial. You know? There's a scripture that says we're not ignorant of Satan's devices Well, those people certainly are are ignorant of it devices if they're that deceived that he's bound right now So Satan goes about as a roaring lion Seeking whom he may devour says that Satan is the prince in the power of the air that worketh in the children of disobedience. Isn't that what it says? Satan is not bound right now. Now there's coming a time, and I just read it to you, when Satan is gonna be cast in the bottomless pit for a thousand years. Some are already turned aside after Satan. 2nd Corinthians 11 14 And for and no marvel For Satan himself is transformed into an ape You know people say well Larry. How much why do you want to spend so much time on evil and Satan and the Lucifer and the serpent and the dragon well I Why does the Word of God spend so much time on him, if he isn't important? Luke 10, 18, he said of them, I beheld Satan as lightning falling from heaven. I mentioned this scripture earlier, 2 Corinthians 2, 11. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. Revelation 27 and when the thousand years are expired Satan shall be loosed out of his prison Well Satan is acting right now in the world And as far as I can see in history Satan has never been bound for a thousand years. Now there's people out there that are going to disagree with me on that. But I would just say that you show me anywhere in history where Satan has been bound for a thousand years in the bottomless pit. Show it. Show it to me. 2 Thessalonians 2 9 Even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and lying wonders. Paul says in Romans 16 20 the God of peace shall brew Satan under your feet shortly The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all amen Satan's still alive and well folks Luke 22 31 and the Lord said Simon Simon Behold Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat Acts 5 3 Peters Peter said Ananias why has Satan filled by heart to lie the Holy Ghost? And keep that part of the price of the land I Job 1 6 now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves with the Lord Before the Lord and Satan came also among them Well Satan is alive and well And if you're listening to people that saying he's a He's no longer active in the world and he's been bound. He's been... He's bound in the bottomless pit and all this. Scripture just doesn't back it up. Satan's very active right now. now we have victory over satan we have victory over satan acts 26 18 to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of satan and diab that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me But even though we have the power from Satan, you know, we must be honest, and scripture bears this out, we're in a warfare. Revelation 12 9 And that great dragon was cast out that old serpent called the devil and Satan wished to see with the whole world He was cast out in the earth and his angels were cast out with him You know Are we into denial? That Satan's active in the world today. I hope not Are we in denial the devil? Being active? Going about? Seeking whom he may devour? You know... There's one guy, I'm not going to mention his name. But... He doesn't want to talk about demons and devils. I knew a gal that had mass tape over her dirt devil. Vacuum cleaner. Ephesians 4 27 neither give place to the devil, but that doesn't mean to to deny that they exist James 4 7 submit yourselves there to for to God resist the devil and he will flee from you Is this the devil and he will flee from you Peter 1 Peter 5 8 be sober Be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion Walking about seeking whom he may devour John 6 70 Jesus said that have answered them had not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil speaking of Judas Iscariot who betrayed him Jesus was tempted of the devil Right if Jesus was tempted of the devil you think we're not being tempted of the devil Matthew 4 1 then was Jesus led up of the spirit and the wilderness to be tempted of the devil Why are we told in Ephesians 6 11? Put on the whole armor of God that you will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I There's people that say, oh, Jesus defeated Satan. We don't have to worry about it. You know, Jesus defeated Satan at the cross. That's true. But I think Ephesians 6 was written after the cross. The warnings are still there. The exhortations are still there to put on the whole armor of God. 2 Timothy 2 26 that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. We're taken captive by his will. Anyway. We need to rebuke the devil. Jesus rebuked the devil. Matthew 4, 5, the devil taketh Jesus, him up in the holy city, and setteth him on the pinnacle of the temple. Satan ever done that to you? I know he's done it to me. Oh, you serve me and I'll give you all of this stuff. All these honors and praises and glory and money and materialism and everything else. secular education well for those out there that are giving you the lie that satan is already defeated and he's no longer active in the world they're lying through their teeth In the mind of God, Satan is already defeated, but Satan is still active in the earth.
