The Transfiguration

Text: Mark 9:1-13 | Speaker: Levi Bakerink | Description: Jesus take Peter, James, and John up a mountain and he is gloriously transfigured before them. He radiates his divinity as Moses and Elijah join him. The disciples are, of course, terrified and bewildered about what they are seeing. We can also wonder why this happened and what the transfiguration is supposed to mean. In this passage, we see that the humble Son of Man is truly the radiant Son of God, sent on mission to save his people.
