Presumption or Dependence?

We have limited time to do the will of God. Yet we’re so easily deceived into thinking there will always be “tomorrow” to love others, serve our Lord, live toward eternity. For many people, “tomorrow” never seems to come. Our Lord wants us to see that a lack of humility is not only evidenced by disregarding others, but by disregarding God Himself. To presume upon tomorrow is to ignore God’s presence and role in our endeavors. In this message, we’ll be challenged to consider our tendency to leave God out of our plans, and make assumptions about the future.
