Early Signs of the End

In this expository sermon Dr. Felker shares the first part of our Lord's prophetic Olivet discourse. His prophecies about the destruction of Israel as a nation and the destruction of the temple came to pass. Therefore, we can expect the rest of his prophecies to come to pass, including the many signs which would characterize this present evil age from his day until his return (spiritual deception, international disruption, earthquakes, famines, insurrections, and pandemics). These signs do not mean that the coming of Christ is imminent, but as they intensify and become more frequent (v.8), they could indeed be signs of the last days. Pastor Felker concludes with the most significant sign of the return of Christ found in this text, and that is the gospel reaching all nations. This is so close to fulfillment!
