Open your Bibles to the 44th chapter of the book of Ezekiel, and this is our last day with Ezekiel. We're going to say goodbye to him this morning, but we're going to leave him in a great place. You know, God is a great and wonderful God. He always honors those that honor Him. We found last week that Ezekiel had been gone for 13 years, but we finally got word from him last week, and it was a great and glorious grand vision that we've begun to look at. For God, in chapter 40, right through the end of the book, has given to Ezekiel a picture of that great and beautiful millennial kingdom that's going to dawn one day over this whole entire earth. In the book of Ezekiel, we found Ezekiel as one of the captives by the banks of the river Chebar. But when we end the book of Ezekiel, he's up on top of Mount Zion. And he's looking down at the beauties and the glories and the wonders that are going to belong to the Lord. Turn, if you will, to chapter 48 and look at the end of that closing chapter. And there are the words. And it was round about 18,000 mangers. And the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there. The Lord is there. Ezekiel was seeing a kingdom from the top of the mountain where God was going to live and dwell with his people forever. And I'm excited about it. That's why I'm talking a little loud. I'll have to calm down now. I just looked down at my wife and she's going, shhh. That'll teach her. All right. I'll tell you, when I think about this, it just thrills my heart. You know, that's what God will do for everyone who let him. There isn't a person in the world today who can't have the same experience that Ezekiel had. Listen, dear friends, God can take you in the midst of your sin, and God can take you in the midst of defeat, and God can take you in the midst of discouragement. God can take you in the midst of the most horrible circumstances, and if you walk with God, you'll end up on the mountain. Isn't that great? That's where Ezekiel ended. He started there in the valley, in the midst of captivity by the banks of the river Chebar. But praise God, when the book ends, Ezekiel's up on the mountain with God, and he's out there looking over the glories and beauties of eternity. And one of these days, every one of us are going to stand right there with Ezekiel. Isn't that great? Oh my, what a wonderful book. What a wonderful book. From one end to the other, it's thrilled our hearts and thrilled our souls. In the 44th chapter of the book of Ezekiel, we find that as Ezekiel looks at the millennial glory, suddenly Ezekiel sees a prince. This is a great and wondrous prince. He's there to lead the people of Israel, to sit upon the throne, and to be one of those that guides and directs during the millennial reign. And the first question we have is this, who is the prince? And the answer that would come back immediately would be, well, it must be the Lord Jesus Christ. He's the son of David. Ah, but it isn't the Lord Jesus Christ. You see, the children of Israel in the millennial kingdom are going to be a mortal people. Now the church will have been resurrected. We will have received our resurrected bodies. We'll have glorified bodies like unto the bodies of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Old Testament saints, they will have been resurrected. And they will have glorified bodies like unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Someone says, well, if it isn't the Lord, then it must be David. But David will have a glorified body. He's not going to be resurrected to a mortal life. He's not going to go back to raising a family and going through all of the things that normal mortal men do. No, no. David will be there in the kingdom, but he'll also have his resurrected glorified body. And when we look at this prince, we find that he's a prince and that's all he is. He's not a priest. In fact, we find that he can't offer sacrifices himself. He doesn't exercise the ministry of a priest. Zechariah chapter 6 tells us that when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back to be the king over all the earth, he will be the ruler and he will be a king, but he will also be a priest and he will offer sacrifices himself. He will be the king. He will be the high priest as well. And then we find As we look further at this man, that in chapter 45, that this prince is there on special days to offer a sin offering for the people. Certainly that is not the Lord Jesus Christ, for He offered one sacrifice for sin once and for all and forever. And then He sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. And then in chapter 46, verse 16, we know it's not the Lord, for we find that the prince has children. He has sons. He's a mortal man. Notice what it says in verse 16. Thus saith the Lord God, if the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance of it shall be his sons. and that you'll be their possession by inheritance. And so he's a mortal man. Well, who is this prince? I believe from all that I can see, according to the word of God, that anyone who sits on the throne of Israel from the time of David on has to be an heir of David, a descendant of David. And I believe that God was going to find an heir of David, a prince who will be a part of that group of Israelites who believe on Jesus Christ at the end of the tribulation period and will be taken into the kingdom. I believe that he perhaps might even be alive in the world today, for I believe the time when these things are going to come to pass are getting to be very, very close at hand. He said, now wait a minute, Pastor Graves. How in the world could you ever figure out who is a descendant of David today? Well, I couldn't. I couldn't do that. But you know, God could. Do you believe that? Do you believe that God knows if any people are going to come down in the direct line of David today? I believe that God could easily find out and detect if there are those still in the line of David today. All right? This prince is going to come upon the scene. He's going to come from among the people. He's going to live among the people. But he's going to lead them in the things of righteousness. He's going to be an underleader sitting upon the throne of David and giving direction and rule over the nation of Israel during this millennial time. One of the things that's wonderful about this king, however, is that the Bible says he's going to be God's kind of a king. You know, God set up human government and placed it into the hands of man. God definitely did this with Adam as he came out of the garden. But he significantly reaffirmed it to Noah as he came out of the ark. And God gave to Noah the responsibility of human government. He even placed within the hands of Noah the judicial taking of life. And he said, Noah, you are to govern the world for me. When a king, when a president, when a leader of a nation rules the world as God intends him to rule, that nation is blessed, and the people prosper, and the people are blessed, and the people have their eyes fixed toward heaven. He does not rule for himself. He does not oppress. He does not take advantage. But he lifts up the people. wherever he can. In the 18th verse of the 46th chapter, when he talks about the government of this king, he says, Moreover, the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possessions, but he shall give his son's inheritance out of his own possession, that my people be not dispossessed, every man, from his possession. You see, it's the will of God that every man should have his place on the earth. Communism today teaches us that the perfect government is this, that every man shall have nothing and that everything shall belong to the state. They say that's the perfect government. Well, let me say to you on the basis of personal observation, it doesn't work. It won't work. Why? Because it isn't God's plan for perfect government. Nor is God's plan for perfect government for some to have the most and the others to have nothing. No! When God is in control, the land is divided and everyone has a place. And no one tries to take the other one's place. That's the kind of government that will prevail during the millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ here on the earth. Now go back to chapter 44, and in chapter 44 we find that the sons of Zadok are mentioned in verse 15. Who are the sons of Zadok? The sons of Zadok are the priests. The priest who supplanted and took the place of the line of Eli following the insurrection of Absalom. You remember that when Absalom died, when Absalom rebelled against his father, that Abiathar, the high priest, went along with Absalom in the insurrection. But there was one priest who was faithful to David, and he left the city on that day, and he traveled with David, and they bore the Ark of the Covenant out of the city, and this man's name was Zadok. And then Zadok, we find, was the one who, when Solomon became king, was instrumental in bringing about the defeat of Adonijah. And when Adonijah had been defeated, then Solomon in turn turned to Zadok, and because of his faithfulness, Solomon presented Zadok as the high priest. And as Ezekiel looks at this millennial temple And this millennial scene, Ezekiel sees the sons of Zadok here. Why? Because they symbolize the reward that God gives for faithful service. God has promised in His Word that He will faithfully reward the believers that faithfully serve Him. You know, many times in this world service is overlooked. One of the frustrations of working in the business world oftentimes is that a person will do their best and somebody else will get the raise or the promotion. The frustration of being a child many times is being told to do things and then finally doing something on your own and having no one notice it. Did that ever happen to you? But in God's program, nothing like that will ever happen. In God's program, every believer is going to be rewarded for everything that he does. Isn't that great? And the rewards of heaven are tremendous. The rewards of heaven are glorious. The rewards of heaven are eternal. They never fade. They never end. Notice it here. God has given to the sons of Zadok a place of permanent service. and reward because of their faithfulness to God way back there in the time of stress and in the time of need. And you know, the word of God reminds us that every one of us as believers has a responsibility today to earn as much reward as we possibly can. Are you looking forward to the judgment seat of Christ? Are you as a Christian this morning looking forward to your reward? What do you have laid up in store? Are you living for eternity or are you living for this life? Oh, the tragedy that there are so many of God's Christians today who are living for this world and the material things of this world and this world and material things here are taking first place. And what are these days? They're all going to go up in smoke. They're all going to be left behind. And the only thing that's going to last for eternity are the rewards that we have earned for faithful service right here in this life. At the judgment seat of Christ, the Bible says the sad plight of many Christians is this, that they will enter into eternity and their entire life will go up in smoke because they have lived for this world rather than live for Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul was looking forward to death and to resurrection and eternity. He said, the time of my departure is at hand. I am ready to be offered. And he said, I'm looking forward to it. Why? Because he said, I'm going to my reward. Say, are you excited about your reward this morning? Paul was excited about his. Are you anxious to get to it? Do you have any? Do you have any? Oh, you say, Pastor Graves. You know, I don't want to be greedy. I just don't think it's right for me to want a lot of reward. I don't know what's the matter with me today, but my mouth is as dry as the Mojave Desert. So you'll have to excuse me. This is a special potion that they've made up for me. And it's made up of a combination of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. And it's formed together in a concoction called H2O. Two parts of hydrogen to one part of oxygen. Mix it up sometime, you'll enjoy it. It's a delightful drink. It's sometimes called Adam's Ale. Now listen. My dear friend, at the judgment seat of Christ, you're going to be rewarded for the works of Christ that have been performed in you. And every reward that you receive will bring glory to Him. And so the more you get rewarded, the more Jesus Christ is going to be magnified. And if you stand at the judgment seat of Christ, bankrupt and empty-handed, then you're going to bring shame to the name of Jesus Christ. But if you stand at the judgment seat of Christ and there is a host of rewards to be given to you, then Jesus Christ is going to be lifted up and your heart is going to be filled with joy. I ask you again, are you working for rewards? Are you concerned about it? Are you thinking about it? Every Christian should be thinking about and conscious of reward every day of his life. We should be saying, Oh Lord, help me to be building for eternity. That you might be glorified. That you might be lifted up. You know, These priests were ministering in the temple, and we talked about that temple last week. You know, the temple in the Word of God symbolizes and signifies a place where God dwells. There are three temples in the New Testament that are given to us in this church age. In Ephesians chapter 2, we read that the entire body of Christ, every member of the family of God, makes up the universal church of Jesus Christ. And the universal church is that temple in which God dwells within the world today. You as a Christian are a part of that temple. In 1 Corinthians chapter 3 it says, you are the temple of God. And many Christians think that that means that that's talking about their body there. That's not talking about your body in 1 Corinthians 3. What you're talking about? It's talking about the local church. The church universal is the temple of God. But the Santa Rosa Bible Church is also the temple of God. Some of you are scratching your head a little bit and say, Pastor Graves, where did you get that wild interpretation? Why the temple there is a temple of our body? Oh no, it isn't. Turn there if you will to 1 Corinthians chapter 3. Let's see what temple is in view there. Verse 9, For we are laborers together with God. Ye are God's cultivated field. You are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another man buildeth on it. But let every man take heed how he buildeth upon it." Buildeth upon what? The foundation of that local church of Corinth. For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation, what foundation? The foundation of the local church. the assembly of believers to which God has called you to be a part of. If you build on that foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay and stubble, your work will be made manifest, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall test every man's work of what sort it is. But if any man's work should be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself should be saved, yet so is by fire. Now notice what it says. Why don't you know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? The local church is a temple of God. The Santa Rosa Bible Church is one of God's temples. So if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. And so the temple is a picture of every local church. And we ought to think of our church and our congregation and assembly of believers, we ought to think of them as a place where God dwells and where God meets together with us as we come together in company. And we ought to be very careful that we do not bring defilement into the local assembly. We need to be very careful that we recognize it as God's temple. That we don't tear it down. That we don't criticize it. It's not your church. It's not my church. It's God's holy temple. The church of Jesus Christ. The local church. In 1 Corinthians chapter 6, that's the one that's talking about your body. There in 1 Corinthians 6 he says, What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom ye have of God, and ye are not your own? Ye are bought with the price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. The church universal is a temple of God. The local church is a temple of God. The believer's body is a temple of God. Oh, dear Christian, I ask you this morning, how much time do you allow yourself to think about and to meditate upon the fact that your body is the temple of God? When we remember that our body is a temple of God, it makes a difference then what we do with the temple, doesn't it? We're back in Ezekiel chapter 44. And we find that these men were called to be priests in the temple of God. But in order to be priests in the temple of God, they had to submit to the standards for service in God's temple. God couldn't use an unclean priest. God couldn't use a rebellious, self-willed priest. Notice what it says here in verse 17. Well, let's look at 16. They shall enter into my sanctuary. They shall come near to my table to minister unto me. They shall keep my charge. And it shall come to pass that when they enter the gates of the inner court that they shall be clothed with linen garments and no wool shall come upon them while they minister in the gates of the inner court and within. They shall have linen turbans on their head. They shall have linen breeches upon their loins. They shall not gird themselves with anything that causes sweat. Can't you just hear some of these priests saying, well, I don't like those turbans. They're not in style. Everybody else has on cowboy hats. I want to wear a cowboy hat. But you see, God's requirement is this, that if you're going to serve me, what? You have to be willing to conform to my standards, no matter what the world standard is. He said, they're not supposed to shave their head, and they're not supposed to let their locks grow long. They're supposed to keep their beard and their hair neatly trimmed. It's a shame for a man to have long hair, the Bible says. Say, well, Pastor Graves, I know what the Bible says, but, you know, well, the Bible says that's fine, but you can't be a priest, and You can't be a priest. You have to conform to God's standards for God's service. Did you know there are many, many Christians today that are totally unuseful for the Lord because in one fashion or another they are not willing to conform to the standards of requirement. I'm not talking about here. That was just one of the requirements for these priests. But I can just hear some of these young priests coming up and saying, I'm not going to fix my hair the way they say. If I want to shave it, I'll shave it. If I want to do this, I'll do that. All right, you go ahead and do it, but you're not coming in. You're not coming in. There's a standard for service. And there's a standard for service in the work of God today. In 1 Timothy chapter 2, God says, if a man wants to be a pastor, if a man wants to be an elder, if a man wants to be a deacon, then there are standards that he must maintain. He must be a man who is a spiritual leader. He must be a man who can teach the Word of God. He must be a man who guides and leads his family and keeps them in subjection. He must be a man who's not quick-tempered. He must adhere and he must qualify according to the standards for service. In the Old Testament, there were always standards for service. And yet we have a host of people today who say, well, pastor, I don't want any standards. Well, God gave standards all down the line. There are a host of other people who say, Pastor, I want to come and hold on to my sin and serve God at the same time. God says, no, it can't be done. You can't serve God and Satan at the same time. You can't do it. It doesn't happen. Notice what he says. Neither shall any priest drink wine, neither enter into the inner court." Oh my, I hate to give up that. I've got to have that little after-dinner nip, you know. Well, all right, God says you can have it. You just can't be a priest. You just can't be a priest. Well, neither shall they take for their wives a widow. You see, God had some special things for them because he wanted them to be a particular example. And so God had standards. You know that every Christian in this day in which we live has been designated as a priest of God. You're one of God's priests if you're a believer. Every believer is a priest. And every believer is to be sure before God that he presents himself before God as a priest that can be used. Listen to me, Christian. If you have sin in your life that you're condoning, if you have sin in your life that you're not willing to deal with, then God can't use you. If you have impurity in your life, then God can't use you. He won't use you. Oh, there's a tragedy today because there are many, many of God's people who were born again, but they don't have any ministry and they don't have any service because they're not willing to let God have full control in their lives. They're not willing to let God purify them. They're not willing to let God cut things out in order that they might be fit for service. I like the example of Moses. By faith, Moses chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. I wonder if we can say that today. Oh God, I thank you that I have been willing to let go of the pleasures of sin in my life that I might be fit for service in your church. Thus it was with the Old Testament priest, and thus it's going to be with the Millennial priest that Ezekiel saw here. You know, I think it's interesting in verse 1 of chapter 46. that the Lord God said, the gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut. The six working days, but on the Sabbath, it shall be open. And in the day of the new moon, it shall be open. Why? Because this Saturday in the millennial was especially set aside as a day when they were to come together to worship God. We don't worship on the Sabbath day today, we worship on the Lord's day, the first day of the week. Because this was the pattern that God established following the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But dear Christians, I believe that the Lord's Day ought to be the Lord's Day. We find the Lord's Day mentioned in the book of Revelation. John says, I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day. And as he was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, then God gave him that great revelation. The book of Revelation, which has blessed our hearts and has opened up the future to us. Aren't you glad that John was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day? Why was he in the Spirit on the Lord's Day? Because he was letting the Lord's Day be the Lord's Day. It belonged to him. Aren't you glad that John wasn't out fishing that Sunday? Hmm? Aren't you glad that John wasn't off to Marriott's that Sunday? Aren't you glad that John was not off judging a sheep show? I want to say this to you, dear friends. The precedent in the Old Testament was this, that one day in seven ought to be considered as a day given to things of God. And I believe that anything that belonged to people under law certainly ought to be a part of the life of God's people today. I believe that Sunday ought to be the Lord's day. I believe that with all my heart. When I was a boy, Sunday was the Lord's day more than it is. And I'm told by my father that before when he was a boy, it was even more of the Lord's day. But I remember when I was a boy, you couldn't even hardly find a store that was open on Sunday. And we all got along. You know what we did? We had a real neat idea. We all bought our things on Saturday and then we all took Sunday off and went to church. And everybody made a living. I read the story of a wagon train that crossed the prairies once. And they were anxious to get to California so they could get the gold. And as they came across the deserts and across the plains and arrived at the mountains, they stopped every Lord's Day. And they had a church service. And they rested their animals in their wagons. And then they traveled six days. But after so long a time, some of the people said, we can't stop. We've got to get to California. All the gold will be gone. And they said, we don't want to stop. And the rest of the train said, well, we're going to stop. And they said, well, all right, you folks can stay if you want to, but we're going to go ahead and get rich. We'll go to church after we get there. The record shows that not too many of the churches grew not nearly as fast as the bars in California in the early days, because people were so filled up with gold that material things took first place over God's things. But you know what happened? The one train broke loose, and off they went, half the train. And they traveled as fast as they could travel to make it. And the other train stopped. You know what happened? It wasn't long until, before they got to California, the train that had stopped every day soon passed the train that had gone on ahead. Their wagons had broken. Their animals had died. Their stock had petered out. You know, God knew what he was doing. God knew that wagons needed to take a rest. God knew that horses worked better if they had one day off and seven. And God knew that people were more healthy if they took one day off to think of God and remember him. And I want to say to you that Satan has done everything he can to destroy the Lord's day and to get people out of God's house and away from the fellowship of one another on the Lord's day. He has put every program that he can possibly put on on the Lord's Day in order to corrupt it and destroy it. Whether it's football games or baseball games or horse shows or turtle shows or rabbit shows, whatever it might be, you can be sure of this, it'll be on Sunday if it can possibly be held. And I've seen Christian after Christian who has begun to put the Lord's Day second in his life. And I've seen it in every case that the moment you begin to put recreation and other things ahead of God on your Sundays, it isn't long until your spirituality goes downhill. Say, Pastor, you mean we should never have a vacation? I notice you're missing once in a while. It's fine to take a vacation once in a while, but I'm talking about the kind of a program that people get into where Sunday after Sunday they're not in church because they're out in other pursuits. Everyone deserves a vacation, and I think it's the finest thing in the world to take a vacation. I recommend it. I'm going to do it myself next week, but that's not what I'm talking about. That's not what I'm talking about. And every time I hear of somebody going on a vacation, I never walk up and say to them, Oh, my, we're sure going to miss you. Oh, I wish you weren't going. When I hear people going on vacation, I always say, my wonderful. The Lord bless you. I hope you have a great time and get a good rest. We'll pray for you that you'll have a good time and you'll come back safe. But when I hear of people that are going out playing golf and going here and going there when they ought to be in the Lord's house on the Lord's day, I'm grieved and I'm concerned because I know it isn't going to be long until those things are going to destroy their walk with God. Do you know it? Do you believe it? Thank you. I'm glad somebody believes it. Because Christians, what I've just said to you is basic. It's important. You let God's day be God's day in your life. Put it first, and you won't lose. You'll be blessed. You'll be blessed. One of the things I've always enjoyed about Brother Wolf, he goes fishing, he follows the fish. But everywhere he goes, he always writes back and he always says, tells me where he is. He fishes six days a week, but Sunday he always is in the Lord's house. And God blesses him with fish, you know. I want to tell you, you start putting the Lord's Day first in your life and giving it the place that belongs to it, and you're going to be blessed in your life as a Christian. You start giving the Lord's Day to other things, and it isn't long until you're going to become callous and grow cold and indifferent toward other things of the Lord. The last thing we want to see here is the river. Ezekiel saw chapter 47. Ezekiel saw a great river. Oh, I like rivers, and I sure like this river because it was full of fish. I'm going to take a vacation next week, and you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go find a river that's full of fish. I'm going to try to find this very river. But I don't think it's there yet. It's talking about the millennium. Ezekiel said, as I looked at that temple, he said, I saw there was a huge river that came out of the temple. He said, I watched the river. He said, I was up high. And he said, the river did a tremendous thing. It went down and it joined the Mediterranean, and then it went right down to the Dead Sea. And he said, when that river touched the Dead Sea, why, he said, that sea that had been filling up with salt for years and years, he said, it suddenly came alive. And it was full of fish. And he said it was fantastic. And he said the river went out and wherever it went, it healed the nations. Oh, the millennium is going to be a great thing for you see the joy of God and the grace of God and the blessing of God are going to flow out of that city of Jerusalem. And it's going to go out for the healing of all of the nations. And there's not a man in the world that won't be able to reach out and enjoy the blessing of God's presence among his people during that millennial reign. I like this river. It's a very unusual river. It starts right there in the temple. Somebody has said, why, it's impossible that this could be a literal river. How could you have a river like this coming out of the top of a mountain? Well, with God, nothing is impossible, is it? You know, recently I was up at Bernie Falls. It's a beautiful falls. And I said to myself, you know, this is a rather dry year. I wonder if there'll be any water coming over the falls. For I had read in the paper that some of the falls in Yosemite had dried up. But when I got to Birney Falls, I found an enormous amount of water cascading over those falls. I said to the rangers, is it any less than it ever is? He said, no, it's just as strong as ever. And then I said, well, where does the water come from? Oh, they said it all comes from upstream. In fact, they said you can take a hike if you like, and you can hike upstream, and you'll find way upstream, about a mile and a half, you'll find a place where the water just comes out of the ground. and cascades down in this large river and then falls 125 feet down over these falls. And there's a tremendous volume of water that comes. I'm planning to go up and look at that. I think that's worth seeing. You say, well, where's Bernie Falls? Well, it's only about 3,000 feet up on the top of a mountain. And right up there at the 3,000 level, this water just cascades out in a tremendous river. Now, if God can do that at 3,000 feet, He can bring a river like this out of the top of Mount Zion if He wants to. Isn't that right? Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. But this is an amazing river, because the longer it goes, the deeper it gets, and there's no streams coming in. Ezekiel started out, and he went in, and the river was up to his feet. And then he went a little further down the river, and it was up to his knees. And then he went a little further down the river, and it was up to his loins. And it's a reminder to us of the fact that here's a river that's unusual, because the longer it flows, the bigger it gets. And what does that symbolize to me? Oh, I think it's a beautiful picture of the grace of God. You know, the grace of God flows today out of heaven as a stream and it grips your soul and it begins in your life with salvation. And then the grace of God just becomes deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper the longer it flows. Isn't that right? Oh, the depths of the grace of God. This picture symbolizes the rivers of God, the marvelous grace of God, which is going to flow out from the center of God's presence in that millennial kingdom until it touches all the earth, and wherever it goes, whoever will receive it will be healed from whatever ails them. So it is today that the grace of God is streaming forth out of the throne of God from heaven, and whoever will reach out and touch the stream of God's grace will be healed of his sin. and of his unrighteousness. He'll be a part of the family of God, a blood-washed servant of the Lord. I don't mind saying goodbye to Ezekiel, do you? Because one of these days, I'm going to join him on that mountain. He's waiting for us. He's not in Babylon. He's up on the mountain with God. And that's where I'm going to be someday. And that's where you're going to be when that millennial day dawns. It's been interesting to travel with Ezekiel. It is when he travels through the book, isn't it? He's done a lot of things. He's gone a lot of places. but he surely has ended up well. Hasn't he? He's on the mountain in the city of God. Are you on the mountain? Shall we pray? Our gracious God and loving Father, we thank you for the opportunity of fellowship with you today. Lord, it's been great to be here this morning in the service and to share again in the life of Ezekiel Lord, there are things we found here in the book of Ezekiel this morning that could have spoken to our lives, each one of us individually. Lord, if there are Christians here today who need to let go and yield to you more fully and completely, grant God that they would. Help us, Lord, as believers today to recognize that our body is the temple of God. That we might be willing, Lord, to take down any of the barriers that would hinder us from service. That we might be willing to conform, Lord, to any standard that you would set for service in our lives. Lord, you set different standards for different service. That we might be willing, Lord, to say, Lord, I'll be what you want me to be. I'll do what you ask me to do that I might serve. where you want me to serve. Perhaps there's someone here this morning and you're not a Christian. You've never entered the family of God. Your entrance in the family of God comes through the personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Savior. With our heads bowed and our eyes closed, I wonder if there might be one or two here today who would say, Pastor, I don't even know that I've ever trusted Christ. Oh, I want to be a Christian. I'd love to know my sins are forgiven. Dear friend, I have good news for you. All of your sins have been paid for, and you can have total and full forgiveness. You can have eternal life if you'll just quietly, where you are, bow your head and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. The Bible says, if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised you from the dead, you will be a Christian. With our heads bowed and our eyes closed, I'm going to invite you to become a Christian right where you sit. Join me, if you will, in this simple prayer of salvation. Say, Lord Jesus Christ. Just say it. Lord Jesus Christ, I know that I've sinned. I believe you died on the cross for my sin. Right now, I confess you as my Savior. I trust in you for my eternal salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for saving me. Dear friend, if you prayed that prayer, you're a born-again child of God. Your soul has been saved.
