Wild animals, now did God create
them? Answers with Ken Ham, head of
the Answers in Genesis ministry. One of the modern Bible versions
in Genesis chapter 1 states that God created the wild animals.
I believe this is a horrible translation, and it just shows
us how evolutionary ideas have even affected Bible translations.
Now, it is true we do see wild animals in the world today, but
when God made all the animals, and then Adam and Eve, He described
His creation as very good. Also, according to Genesis, Adam
and Eve and all the animals were vegetarian. So there was no death
or bloodshed of animals before sin, or wild animals as we understand
them. But many Christians have adopted
evolutionary ideas. The violence they see around
us today is part of God's process of creating, they say. They also
believe that today's wild animals have always been violent. Now
the Apostle Paul describes a world as one that's groaning in pain
because of sin. But one day in the new heaven
and new earth, there'll be no violence or death. Everything
will again be in perfect harmony. It'll be a return to Eden. Does
that mean dinosaurs were created vegetarian? That's one of the
