Well, amen. If you have your Bibles, turn with me to the book of Galatians. Brother Brian asked me for a title of my sermon. I said, well, I hadn't made up my mind yet. Just let me wait. But I think this is where I want to go, from the book of Galatians, chapter number 6, verse number 15 will be my text, Galatians, chapter number 6. I am going to read the passage beginning with verse number 11. The title, Brother Brian, is A New Creature in Christ. A New Creature in Christ. I preached this at Brother Brunson. Some of you that were there will remember this, maybe. If you are like my folks at home, it wouldn't make no difference. I could preach every other week what I preached a couple of weeks before, because they don't remember, because half the time I don't remember. Somebody said, Brother Bryant, you said such and such. And I said, I said that? Yes, you did. And I said, are you sure I said that? He said, we got it on tape. So we went and listened, and sure enough, I said that. I said, well, I really didn't mean that. That happens from time to time. But in the book of Galatians, chapter number 6, I'm impressed that you have allowed me to be back once again. I was here last year, if some of you remember. And you might remember I preached from Galatians. back last time I was here from chapter number 4 on what it means to trust in Christ from verses 1 through 10. I'm going to read this, I wrote this down so I wouldn't forget. One of the real problems, issues, I call it a problem, with preaching in a meeting like this with only evening services is all these preachers get together during the day and discuss theology all day long. They got me so confused I don't even know what I believe anymore. That's not real true. We did talk about this. In fact, what I'm going to talk about tonight we discussed this afternoon. So I'm going to go ahead and say it anyway. Paul in his first letter to the church at Corinth makes a very profound statement in the first part of chapter number two. He says this. And I'm quoting, I'm reading it, I copied it, I think I copied and pasted it off my computer so I wouldn't just copy it and misquote. So here's what it says, "'For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified.'" Which is a very profound statement, but almost always we pass right by that Jesus Christ part and jump right to the crucified part. Now listen, I'm fixing to say something, it's not profound, and you're going to think I'm a heretic for saying it, but it was not simply the crucifixion that saves you. Did you hear what I said? No, no, no, don't misunderstand. It was necessary that Christ die, and not just die, but die on the cross. It was necessary, but it was not the death on the cross that saved you. There were two other men that died that very night. So if crucifixion saved you, then what did their crucifixion have? What effect did it have on you? By the way, this was not the first time people had been crucified. This crucifixion was not invented for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, I know you're thinking I'm a heretic, but I'm not. I'm not. I really believe that. You have to believe on the cross, in the cross. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and him crucified is the issue. But the point that I'm getting to, it's not the crucifixion, it's who was crucified on the cross. Now, listen to me. It was not the blood of Christ just because He said blood, the blood of Christ is not what saved you, not just the blood, it was, it is. Try to get what I'm saying. Christ's blood is precious, not because it was blood, but because it was his blood. Other people shed blood and would die for you. I read it in the Bible, especially for a good man would some dare to die. You understand what I'm saying? People today in military are giving their life for you. And by the way, that ought to invoke tears of joy and appreciation and admiration. Don't misunderstand what I'm saying. But that doesn't help you eternally. And they're shedding their blood for you. Freedom is not free. And if you're not patriotic, I don't know what to tell you. Get right with God is all I know to say. I really believe that. I'm not preaching a political message, but I really believe that. I'm not so sure this country is ever going to turn back to the Lord. My personal opinion, this is a personal opinion, that we're not looking for judgment, that we're not being threatened with judgment, that we are under judgment. Now, if we ever get under judgment, this is what the Bible said, it must begin at the house of God. If we ever get under judgment, it will not quit until it has accomplished its purpose. Think about what I'm telling you now. God don't do stuff halfway. So I'm not sure. I'm for revival. I promote it. I preach it. I pray for it. I would love to see it. I'm not real sure we will. I rejoice when I hear about folks being saved. God's still in the saving business. Here's what I think. If the last person who's going to be saved is saved, I think it's all over then. So the one way we know that it's not all over, then it's because God's—and another reason we know that God's still saving people, and there are people to be saved, because it's not all over yet. I'm just trying to establish my position here. It is Christ. Salvation is in Christ. The reason that the gospel of Christ is the power of God under salvation is not just because it's the gospel, but it's because it's the gospel of Christ. It is Christ. And it's all about him. It's not about you. The Bible is not about you and your salvation. I've heard them say that. Well, the Bible is all about salvation. All through the Bible you can find salvation in it. But I beg to differ with you. The Bible is not about salvation. The Bible is about your Savior. And if you read the Bible, and don't, as Mr. Spurgeon would say, preachers, when you get ready to read the Bible, take a text, any text, just choose one, read your text, and then run straight to Christ. Because that's what it's about. It's about Christ. This is all about Christ. It is the Christ, the virgin-born Christ. It is the Listen, here's the major tenets of the faith. I believe this. We can disagree on some things, but we cannot disagree on this and have fellowship in the gospel. Are you listening to me? The virgin birth. The virtuous life of Christ. It's all about Christ. The virgin birth of Christ. The virtuous life of Christ. The vicarious death of Christ. the victorious resurrection of Christ. And I don't see how you can leave any one part of it out as a believer. Now, I'm talking about as a believer. I'm not talking about a non-believer. I'm talking about as a believer. And the visible return. Now, some of you guys got what's going to happen at the visible return mixed up, but at least you got the visible return part right. That Christ is coming for his church. And one of these days, there's going to be a final resurrection. I just believe that. That's the truth. Now, I'm trying to establish my point here, and this is what I'm talking about. It is all about Christ. It is the Christ. It was who is being crucified that saved you. It is Christ. Now, let me read to you from the book of 1 John, can I? Would you spare me that for just a minute? Then we'll go back to Galatians. Listen to this. I think this is important. 1 John, chapter 5, verse number 5. 1 John, chapter 5, verse number 5. Who is he that overcometh? Who is he that overcometh the world? Y'all listen to this now? "...that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God." Isn't that interesting? That Jesus is the Son of God. The problem is that we have too many Baptists preaching a Jesus that's not the Jesus of the Bible. And the Jesus of the Bible is not somebody who became God. Do you understand what I'm saying? He didn't become God because he didn't sin. Hello? I said he didn't become God because he didn't sin. I'm telling you, he didn't sin because he was God. Now understand, he was human, all human. Now you can't figure this out. The theologians call that the hypostatic union. It took me 15 years of preaching and listening to these guys to even be able to say that word, let alone to have a comprehension of what it meant. They kept talking about that, and I didn't have a clue. That's kind of like impeccability. Somebody said, do you believe in impeccability of Christ? Well, I didn't know. I mean, honestly, Brother David, I didn't know what he was talking about. An evangelist was in my church preaching a meeting. He was talking to another preacher that came there, and they were comparing what they believe and things they don't believe. And my preacher friend Herman and I, he said, well, I believe in the impeccability of Christ. Well, I thought, well, if Herman believed that, I'd have a clue what that meant. I finally asked him, I said, Herman, what does that mean, impeccability of Christ? He said, not only did Christ not sin, and He chose not to sin, by the way. But not only did he not sin, he was incapable of sinning. He could not sin. What's the point in the temptation and the wilderness and all that stuff? I haven't got time to get into all that, but it wasn't a proof that Christ could sin. It was a proof that he was who he said he was. Now, who did he say he was? He said he's the Son of God. sent down from heaven. And that's what his claim was, and that's exactly what he is. Now, notice what it says. Who is he that overcometh the world? And that's not even my message, but I believe this is very important. Who is he that overcometh the world? Be that Jesus is the Son of God. Read that next verse right there. Listen to that. Did you hear that word? This is he that came by water and blood. Now listen. Did you hear that? Even Jesus Christ. That's the same thing as saying, it's the same Jesus of Nazareth that's foretold in the Old Testament Scripture. I believe it started with Genesis chapter number 3. The seed of a woman. Now, we've got on the way over here talking about Christ not being, not having, He was not the seed of a woman. Christ was not just born of a woman. I mean, he wasn't just human because he was born of a woman. Y'all listen to me. That would make him inhuman. You're not just born of a woman, Brother Darrell. Back in the day, when you come along, this is the story they used to tell, what takes two to tango. Now, do you understand what I'm saying? And Sharon said, well, that's what I am. I'm born of a woman. No, I'm not born of a woman. Now, I was born of a woman. That's true. But she did not conceive me miraculously. My mother did. And that conception was not a wicked conception, or that exchange, that familiarity was nothing wrong with that. So when it says about David he was conceived in iniquity, that's not what he's talking about. He's talking about he's conceived in iniquity because of his daddy, and his daddy's daddy, and his daddy's daddy, all the way back to Adam, which is who your first daddy was. And so what you inherited was Adam's nature, and the reason you inherited Adam's nature was because you were born of Adam and Eve together, but not Christ. No, no, listen to me. Listen to me. Amen, thank God. Because had it not been for that, the person that died on the cross, had he not been virgin-born Son of God, he'd have been no different other than he hadn't been guilty of what those other two guys were guilty of. Are you listening to me? It's the virgin-born Son of God. That's how you overcome the world. It's Jesus. Who is this Jesus? Isn't that good? Now, I know that not everybody understands all of that upon their conversion. I understand that. But I'm telling you this once you get into it. And by the way, this is what I don't understand. People get saved and don't want to go to church. That's the very question. That's my problem with our modern-day evangelism. We're getting people saved who are not getting saved. We're standing them up on the church row whom God didn't birth into the church of God and hasn't added. And part of the reason is because preachers are not preaching truth. They're saying, well, it don't really make no difference. Well, it does make a difference. Now, I understand that that's not the only message to preach, and that's not the only thing that you say in the gospel message, but it does make a difference. If you're preaching some other Jesus than the birth and born Son of God, you're not giving them the gospel. Now, along with that, if you're just telling them what Jesus did for you, that ain't the gospel either. They say, well, what's wrong with it? There ain't nothing wrong with it. But Jesus may not do for them what he did for you in the same way he did it. Now, listen. We are all saved by the cross, Talbot. And that is by grace. Old Testament saints were saved the same way we were, by grace. Looking forward to the cross. You've heard that old adage. Well, it's more than an old adage. It's a truth. You're saved by looking back to the cross. That's the truth. That part is true. That's faith. Of course, you've got a problem with faith because you didn't have any. All you've got to do is believe hard enough that Jesus can save you and he will. But your problem is you can't believe it. You've got to have some help with that. And that's where the Holy Ghost, that's the regeneration part that comes in. Now, let me read some more in this 1 John 5. He looked at verse 6. Listen. This is he that came by water and blood. Now, by water and blood, it's both. the human birth, and the blood that flowed in him. Now, we'll get into the crucifixion later on in this passage, but it's not in that part. That's his human birth. His humanity is just like your humanity, with one exception. He didn't have the seed of Adam. In fact, if you'll read the Bible, you'll find out he was Adam. Uh-uh. Well, that's what it said. First of all, he said, the last Adam. And then he calls him the second Adam. He uses both terminologies in that passage of Scripture. I looked it up. I wanted this to be the last Adam and not the second Adam. But it's only two Adams. Now, the first Adam was your physical material. You can trace your line back to him. The second Adam is your spiritual. Now, this is germane to my sermon, by the way. You didn't know I could say that word, did you? I didn't learn it in ninth grade either. I had to go to college to get that one. They didn't let me stay in college very long, by the way, but I got that word and got out just as quick as I could. Listen, read with me from Galatians chapter number 6. Would you please stand? I know you've been sitting and stuff like that. That's what my friend Brother Carter says, but I'd just like for you to stand. It's not in the Bible anywhere it says you have to stand. They did that when they read one of them Old Testament passages, and a friend of mine picked it up and thought it was a good idea, and I've been copying him ever since. And several of my friends do that, and I like it. You don't have to, you don't want to. If you're not able, don't worry about it. It's just something that I like. Listen to this. You see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hands. Chapter 6, verse 11. As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised, only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. I wish I had time, I don't. I'm going to leave that alone. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. Now that's what soul winners do. Scalp hunters, we call them spiritual scalp hunters. Door knockers, they go out and go and win people to Jesus. How many did you win to Jesus? So this is what they say, if you didn't win X number of people to Jesus today, you're probably not a Christian. Hogwash. You're not going to win nobody to Jesus in the first place. You can win them over to your way of thinking. If you can do that, you've made some progress. Because most people you talk to don't think like you think, and the reason is they're not of the same makeup you are. And that's what we're going to get into here in a minute. Listen to this, verse number 13, "'For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.'" Oftentimes in the New Testament epistles, you hardly ever hear Jesus' name mentioned by itself. Almost always, not always, but almost always. Now, it's not a rule. It's not a fast rule. You can't say, well, Brother Barney said this, so it's got to be that way. It's not a fast rule. But almost always, the word Jesus is not special. I know the meaning is special, but there was more than one Jesus in the New Testament. So how do you know that? Because there's a fellow over there by the name of Bar-Jesus. What does that mean, Brother David? Son of Jesus. So there's got to be at least more than one, and there's more than that, by the way. The name Jesus in the New Testament is equivalent to the name Joshua in the Old Testament. In fact, it's the same name. It's the Greek rendering of the Hebrew Joshua. If you'll go back to the Old Testament, you won't find Jesus in there anywhere. I think I'm right. I think I checked it out. I think I'm right. If you'll go to the New Testament in the real Bible, the King James Bible, The 1611 edition of the King James Bible is the closest that you can get to it. You won't find Joshua in the New Testament. Well, it's in the book of Hebrews, not if you've got one like mine, it's not. When they still put Esaias in there for Isaiah. Huh? You know what they call Noah in the New Testament? No way. Isn't that interesting? I'm making you all stand up. I'd like you to get on this. I'm going to quit. I want you to look at this, because this is going to be my text. Verse number 15 is going to be my text, but let me get verse 14. But God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, for whom the world is crucified under me, and I under the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. As many as walk according to this rule, what is that rule? It's a new creature rule. May his walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy upon the Israel of God. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the Bible, the Word of God. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Let me hasten to say that the Israel of God is not the same people that are walking after this same rule. The Israel of God. The Church is not the Israel of God. You cannot make the Church the Israel of God. I know you say, well, that's your eschaton. No, it's not. It's my Bible exposition. You cannot make the church the Israel of God. There's a difference between Old Testament saints and New Testament saints. One of these days, there's not. All that difference is going to change. I don't know when, I don't know where, I don't know how. I read it in the book of Ephesians. We know that it's got to, because he said this in chapter number 2, verse number 10. Ephesians, chapter number 2, verse number 10, that's not correct. Chapter number 1, verse number 10, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times, he might gather together in one all flesh in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in him. So eventually, everybody, there's going to be no distinction. In fact, there's no distinction in the Church. Did you hear what I said? There's no distinction of the Jew and the Gentile in the Church. Now, that's why I have problems with Messianic Jews. A Messianic Jew is a Jew who claims to trust Christ as his Lord and Savior, but he doesn't get into a church. He still does the stuff that Galatians do. They still get circumcised. They still do kosher. They are in a synagogue rather than a church. And that's the problem that I have with Messianic Jews. What does that do? That makes them think they're more better than we are. And the problem is, they're not. Now, this is what Paul said, give not offense to the Jew, or to the Gentile, Or to the Church of God. Here's what happens in this age when somebody gets converted, saved, born again, immediately. Now, by the way, the Kingdom of God is in existence today. Don't ever say it's not. I don't believe God's filling up His Kingdom. And when the Kingdom gets full, that He's going to end this thing. I believe God's filling up His Church. And when the Church is complete, He's going to rapture the Church, and then we'll have seven years of relationship. You don't have to believe that. And then when Christ comes back in power and glory, he's going to establish a thousand-year reign. And there's going to be a distinction between the Jews of Israel, the Israel of God, and the Church. How do you figure that? That's what the Bible says. Why are you going to be like that? Take that up with God. I don't know. Do you really think, do I really believe they're going to rebuild the Temple? I really do. Well, how long is it going to take? You know, it don't take long to build a set of apartments in Carthage, Texas. It don't, brother. It don't take long. In fact, you would be amazed. They built a house in our neighborhood in three weeks. I'm talking about from the time they started until the people moved in it. A house. Now, they didn't build it from scratch. I don't guess they scratched, but they come in and got a bulldozer and tore the old one down. From the time they started it until three weeks later, the couple moved in. So yeah, I think they can build it in the tribulation period if they want to. But that's another story. Now, I'm talking about in Christ Jesus now. That's what happens. What happens when you get converted today, you get put in Christ Jesus. And being in Christ puts you in the church. What church is that? Obviously it's not the Providence Baptist Church, or at least not exclusively. If it were, we couldn't meet here. We'd have to go to Joel Osteen's building. Or bigger. No, it's not the true church. So what he does is he puts you in the true church. Now listen, a lot of my friends call that the invisible and the universal church. I don't like either one of those terms. I can see Johnny Carter, he got on a pink shirt, and we did not plan this. By the way, Johnny Carter and David Parker are my two heroes, especially for evangelists. I'm telling you the truth. David is my very favorite male vocal singer in the world. I love him. And Johnny Carter, I'm a Carter groupie. We've got folks in our church that will follow him all the way to New York to hear him preach, and sleep on the cold ground just about. I'm about telling the truth now, aren't I? Now, I wouldn't go quite that far, but I'd drive three hours to hear him preach. In fact, I drove over there three hours, a long three hours, at least about three hours and five minutes, and he got up and gave about a 20-minute devotion. He did. And ask him what I said. I told him, look here, I didn't drive no three hours to hear you preach 20 minutes. Don't ever do that to me again. But they're my friends. But they're part of the church that's called the true church. Now both of them are part of a local assembly. By the way, Johnny Carter presides over our local assembly when he's at home. And I've been in it, preached in it a number of times. And what a wonderful thing. Now, I want to get to my message. Let me give you my three points, and I'm going to do it very rapidly, and then I'm going to be done, and y'all can do whatever it is you need to do. I'm talking about a new creature in Christ. There's three very simple points, since you've heard that before. The first point is the spiritual presence, and this is all in verse number 15. The second point is the societal practices. And then the third point is the special privilege, and here they are, the spiritual presence, is for in Christ Jesus. Now let me tell you what that does not mean. Obviously and evidently it does not mean you are literally, physically, materially in Christ Jesus, nor is He in you. Right? I believe this. I believe each one of you here who is a genuine born-again child of God, Brother Brown, I believe this is what's happening to you. I believe God is doing this in your life. He's conforming you to the image of whom? But it's not the outward appearance. And it's not physically. He's not changed inside and physically. His organs are the same unless he's been to the doctor two or three times, such as some of us have. He's not messing with our insides, Brother Ted. I mean, our organs, not physically. But you've got to believe you're looking. Hey, listen, if you don't believe you're looking more like Jesus today than you were yesterday, something's wrong with your belief system. So the spiritual concept is that Christ is living in you. How does He do that? And that's the only one possible way that can happen. That's when the Holy Ghost. Now, if you don't believe this, you're not a Christian. I'm going to say this. If you don't believe there's God the Father, God the Word, W-capital-W-O-R-D, and God the Holy Ghost that bear record in heaven, you're not a Christian. I read it in the Bible. Now, almost, well, every modern virgin Bible takes it out. Why would they do that? You know what they tell me? Well, let's talk somewhere else. Yeah, but that's the only verse in the entire Bible that specifically states it. Why would you take that out? That is so – listen, that's not just important, that's imperative. Because if you don't have the Holy Ghost as God, then you don't have God in you. Is that not right? If you don't have the Holy Ghost as God in you, living in you, dwelling in you, Eternally! You don't have Christ in you. Why would they do that, Brother Darrell? Makes me wonder whether they really believe the Bible or not. I started to preach on believing the Bible. I'm a King Jamesist. I'm not a King James only, I'm a King Jamesist. Me and Brother Carter, Brother Parker, Maybe Brother Darrell. Well, I am. I'm curious about it. I don't think it's the best translation. I think it's the only correct translation. You say, you don't really believe it with all of my soul. Listen, I read in the back of the book, it says, do not add to. Because you know what? If you add to what's going to happen, do not add to it. By the way, I think he's talking about the book of Revelation. Verse number 18 specifically is about the book of Revelation. You can't start changing those things around and making them say something they don't say. Listen, those creatures that's coming out of the bottom of the spits are not airplanes. You don't believe in those things, do you? With all of my soul, it's in the Bible. How can you not believe in it? And they're not halfway. Well, they look. They say, well, they like. No, they don't say they like anything. They say they're creatures coming out of the bottom. How did they get out of there? The king let them out. What king? The king of the bottom of the pit. How did they get out? Somebody give them the key. Read the book, as Bob Weldon says, for five minutes. But if you start adding to it, God's going to add to you the plagues. Now, listen to me. You've had some plagues added to you, Brother Darryl, not because that you added to the book. Don't look at me like that. He's had a heart attack, heart surgery, heart disease. Something in between his ears is not right, I can tell you that. It's a good thing he got Sister Debbie to help him keep him straight. See? But that's not going to affect his eternity. But you read that next verse, and if you take anything, see if you add to or take away. Now, adding to is in verse 18. I'm telling you the truth. If you'll just look this up for yourself, look it up. If you add to, you get the plagues. If you take out, you get your name blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life. Now, let me tell you how serious that is. If you'll go back to chapter number 20, in that second resurrection, that final resurrection, you call it, when the rest of the dead lived not again until a thousand years was up, the rest of the dead lived. Death and hell give up the dead. The grave give up the dead. The rich and famous, the poor, everybody that didn't come in that first resurrection, comes in that final resurrection. And they stand before God in the books. I believe the books are the judgments of God, in alignment with the Word of God. Who is he that condemneth the Bible? Ask that question. Do you know who, what the Bible says who it is? It is Jesus Christ, now listen to this brother there, that died. Yay! Rather rose again. You know what he's going to judge you based on? Not do you know the virgin birth, but have you trusted in the death and burial and the resurrection of Christ. But it's the Lord Jesus Christ. Hello? Uh-huh. And somebody said, well, I'm not going to send you to hell. You send yourself to hell. That's not right. That's not Bible. It is Christ. I believe the one sitting on the great white throne of judgment is not God the Father, it is God the Son. Christ. Because He is the one who cast folk into hell. And then they judged them out of the books. And then they said the other book was brought in, the book of life. And this is what it says. Whosoever's name was not found written in the Lamb's book of life was cast into the lake of fire, made for, created for, the devil and his angels. Now, if you get your name blotted out, buddy, that affects your eternity. Why would you leave something out of the Bible? Why would you not believe something in the Bible? Why would you start taking from the Bible if it has that serious of a ramification? Now, just because you believe it, or just because you say you believe it in the Bible, doesn't make you saved. That's not the point. But you can rest assured you can't be saved if you don't believe it. The creature. The spiritual presence, that's in Christ. Here's a second. There's so much stuff I could talk about here. Here's a societal practice. Now watch this. Neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision. Now, if you've got Church of Christ friends, or if you are Church of Christ, pardon me, I need to tell you this, your baptism is not going to make you saved. Now, listen to me, Baptists. Your lack of baptism is not going to make you unsaved. I throw this out. Who baptizes you is not going to make a whole lot of difference. You say, well, you've got to get permission from the church. Find that in the book. All the preachers have got to do the baptizing. Find that in the book. So we've been taught all this all of our lives, but see, that is quote-unquote society practice. Now, circumcision is not baptism, I know that, but in this particular passage, that's what it translates to, because it's an outward appearance. Somebody explain to me what baptism is. Exactly right. Now, do not misunderstand, I'm not making light of baptism. I think it's not just importance, it's imperative. I believe if you're a real believer, you'll want to be baptized as a believer. We call that believer's baptism. We don't call that believer's baptizing. Now, don't misunderstand. I don't think you ought to be baptized by an unbeliever. But if you was, what difference would it make to your baptism? If your baptism don't matter. He said, wait a minute, wait a minute, it don't, hey, well, read what it says. The Bible says, and here's what you've got to have. It's the only thing that'll help you. See, it's not your baptism. Or it's not the lack of your baptism that makes any difference. It's whether or not you're a new creature. Now that's what it says. Now here's the special privilege you've got that nobody else has got. Folks don't look at me like that. You may not realize this, but you are a peculiar bunch of folk. The word creature and creation, from what I get from my lexicons and interleaners and stuff like that, it's the exact same Greek word. But it won't fit every time. You cannot make creature creation. Will you listen to me? Nor can you make creation fit creature. Let me just give you some examples from the Bible. Creation is not creature and won't fit in these places. Mark chapter 10. Look at this. I'll just give you one or two. I've got several here I could give you. I'll just give you one or two. Mark chapter number 10, verse number 6. Mark chapter number 10. Verse number 6, this is what the Bible says. I got to Mark 10, 6, there it is. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. Did you get that? Now, that's something my president ought to read. But did you see what it said? It didn't say from the beginning of the creature. See, creature won't fit there. It's the same Greek word, though. So how did the translators mess it up in 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians 5 and 17? That ought to have been creation. You're not a new creation. Well, listen, I said you're not a new creation. It took an act of creation to get you what you are. Did you hear what I said? You know what that means? Listen to me. Here's what the Bible says. If the gospel be hid to them, is it hid? Why is it hid to them? The God of this world has their minds unless they see the glorious gospel. But here's what happened to you. If it happened to you, this is what happened to you, the God, now listen to me, the God that made the light to shine out of darkness has commanded the light of the glorious gospel. See, that's an act of creation. If you want to know how you got saved, it wasn't because you accepted Jesus. Listen to me, it was not, you didn't have anything to do with it. No, you didn't get what I said. I said, you didn't have anything to do with it. Well, I've got to believe. But you can't believe. You're an unbeliever. Here's what happened to her. Creative act of God moved into your heart, quickened your dead spirit, made you alive, gave you the ability to accept, to believe the Bible. That's exactly what happened. And it made you not a creation, but what come out of that is a new creature. That's why I don't preach nor believe a dual nature. A lot of my good preacher friends, good preacher friends, some of my, Walter Sanders still believes that. In Christ, a new creature. It's in Christ. Are you in Christ is the question. Now, how do you get in Christ? I read this in the Bible. You can say what you want to or believe about it. I believe this with my entire soul. I've heard people say, well, I want to get saved, I tried to get saved, but I just can't. I don't believe that for a nickel's worth of nothing. If they want to get saved, in the first place, nobody wants to get saved. I read that in the Bible. Nobody wants to go to hell, but nobody wants to get saved to keep them going. And by the way, getting saved doesn't mean just missing hell. That is a wonderful experience of getting to go to heaven, but that's not what being saved is. Do you know what being saved is? Being a new creature. Being made conformed to the image of Christ. Looking like Christ. That's what John said. What great love? I can't quote it now, but 1 John chapter 3, what does that say? Oh, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon me, that we should be called the sons of God. But even better than that, we are the sons of God. But even better than that, we are going to be the son of God when he shall appear. He didn't say nothing about going to heaven. Did you hear me? John's desire didn't say nothing about going to heaven. Everybody wants to go to heaven. You ought to want to be like Jesus. Be with Christ, a new creature. Thank you.
