Indolence in the Christian Life

Amongst the land conquered by the children of Israel, there were still pockets of resistance where the wicked Canaanites had not been fully purged out. The Israelites had become slack, and so can we in the Christian life.

In this study, we start by surveying the parallels between the Israelites and the Christian today.

We then consider 4 reasons identified by A W Pink in his wellknown commentary on Joshua as to why Christian slackness exists today.

We conclude by turning to the New Testament and looking at the antidote given by the apostles for Christian indolence.
