Others, he had preached worldly in the name of Jesus. So he went in and out among the Jews, preaching worldly in the name of the Lord. And his foe had disputed against the Hellenists, but they were sticking to him. And they were rather similar to this. They brought him down to the earth and sent him forth to be judged. So a child who was all too dear and very insuperior had peace and was paying bills happily. Unlocking the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit in my life. So that's the reading of God's word. And as I introduce this passage from our sermon today, some vision in the years gone by was such a drastic change. It really gets to you when you hear this. I mean, that's just the thing you are telling everyone. I've got to learn so far. Unusually, regardless of the status, you know, in this UNSCEC academy or in the community, I mean, they would want you alive! They would acknowledge that now, this time of so-and-so, they could have a so-and-so. has changed. You see friends, when the soul got converted, things were never the same. In this case, we can see that the soul was previously a persecutor. Or believe us, we say of us people of the church, the church believe us around, the church that we know about, because John 7 tells us how, he and together with others listened to the testimony of the preaching of Stephen, and at the end they said we can't hear any more of this stuff they killed Stephen 2. he was a persecutor but what happened when he was invited he became a defender of the faith that he was previously seeking to destroy And as soon as he was converted, we were told that he began to proclaim, to preach, to tell the world that there had been a proper priesthood. Wow. And of course, as I said in the message, you got saved, I became different. So immediately he got saved, we may put it that way. He will only have to be defensively activated. He will also come over the wall. So, he is called as a bishop. He is not a sovereign. I cannot say that he can do this opposition. His former friends turned around and now want him to kill him. is only his male friends, his male family, protected him. With these friends, there was this 180 degrees turn around in his life. Can you describe your submission like that? Because another of you here came to be saved. Honestly, Can we say there was such a, and there is such a difference in your life now, perhaps because of your politics? No. But honestly, if your life is so different, the person who you are with, and had a passion with, and did things with, now will see you totally different. Friends, that must have been honest. If not, we're still not going to rush to the right tune with the right patient. You're right. So if I take lessons, get to know you, you'll see I'm not the only one who's in trouble. You are, and you will be. Besides, I'm the only one left. I'm telling you. Jay and I, we're done with this. You're right. is an untimely mistake with this mind. So, what we are going to do today is, in opening eyes, the mind, yes, but the mind is struggling in the context of two identities. In the context of two identities. And as we look at the mind in the context of two cities, we are actually putting on, if you like, the mirror or the glasses of God. What is God doing with this mind in the context of these two cities, the man-house and Jerusalem? What's God doing? Because we have no idea that God is talking right now, even to my own man. Last Sunday and the previous Sunday, I was showing that true salvation is completely in God's work. So, what's God doing in the life of this man in the context of these two cities? And therefore, we are calling it God's tale of two cities. What's the tale of Jesus' death? The tale is a nice short one, actually it means mystery. What's going on? What is this sovereign God doing in the life of this man? So first let us see this man in Damascus. And so as we look at this one in Damascus, which we visit again and again, we find many astonishments which are there. And then, we are also seeing responsibility, those nice big words, like that second one, sitting in pyjama, look at it in a negative way. Initially, the young man in pyjama, we use it negatively, we talk it like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like that, like Spanish channel named Conspiracy in German, and then it escaped to the US. And then it was only, we were staying almost in the city of Jerusalem. So the first one, it was in 1923, it was 25, It is called, or sawed, as it is typically called, in Damascus. What's happening? Remember, he was on the road to Damascus to capture anyone who came to be a follower of the way, that is, the followers of Jesus, to bring them down to Jerusalem, to be tried. But he had ten friends. Things have happened for you very fast, by the way, very fast. Last night, we have been blessed, and I want to keep on mentioning it. We have been told that the Lord has undermined us. We have been told that the Lord has subdued him, and he has given us much more. I am the one sending you. Because the one you are going to is my children. So I must now take that instrument and I must say, Lord, you have sent me, I go. It is not easy, but I go. So I must ask the Lord, and find Saul, lay his hand on Saul, and release brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road. As we were coming, he has said to me, that I may touch on you, all put my hand on you, to sit by your side, in peace with the Holy Spirit. That happened to him. Then he was able to see again. Verse 19, he looked through and he was strengthened. For some days, Saul was with the disciples at Damascus. What do you think has happened there? An atheist must have done a little more than just laying his hands on Saul and praying, receive your sight, receive the Holy Spirit, and then leave. No! And Christ must have spoken about all souls to the people around to believe us in the masters. That is why we are told for some things he was with the disciples and their masters. He has found them in firmly. He has found a new family. There was an intermeddling, by the way, as you will see in a short while. This is just a blessing very quickly. This one is the most custodian, too. He saw it, he was able to go around and handle it. I think there's something for us here. When someone testifies that they are religious, we need to embrace them. In other words, we need to welcome them in our fellowship. I guess we have a really good reason why we should follow them outside. We should embrace them. We saw that mistake. There are a number of you in this congregation, even now, who are looking forward to membership. And we've gone through the membership process. the silence of the eventful time happening between, you know, when the classes were over, that the next stage is nothing wrong with you. We are looking forward to that. All your hard work that has been going on here has made our programs go upside down. We are very sorry. We are looking forward indeed to to initialise the process. But anyway, let's look at what's happening here. We are told that he not only went around the disciples to receive him, but there he was twenty! He was twenty! Immediately, he proclaimed to Jesus that he is the son of God. Now this does not mean, by the way, Any of us, or young believers, demand this. It does not give a Christian woman, and particularly, it does not give a judge. Demand this, that should someone profess faith, then from a young age, just bring them to the stage, and ask them to say something, or believe them, they become a God. No. My second point is that there is a need for such a person to be learned. Now, there's more that can be seen. Saul, who is God, Saul was a candidate of the Old Testament avengers. And that's my implication, speaking to us, a challenge to us. We all need to bring our young ones, to bring the people to the knowledge of God. Safe or unsafe, we must bring those words to people to know, so that you can all see them. Remember. then they are all which were in the Scriptures. So it's not a surprise for Saul to immediately, verse 20 tells us, immediately, he proclaims Jesus in the synagogue. As we are going to see shortly, this is not just any old Jesus, this is the Jesus taught in the Old Testament. So that's something that we need to think about. A spring or a young wolf, even if there's no need to cross words, they need it. Well, but now, where did, did you know that I was sleeping? Where did this teaching take place? Where was he proclaiming Jesus? It was Luke chapter 20 again, and he did it, he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogue, in the synagogues, those places, places of worship in Damascus. Now, I hope that it interests you, look with me at chapter 9 verse 2. Let us go to the synagogues of Damascus so that if he found any Elohim in the way, men or women, he might bring them down to Jerusalem. And we are not finding it. He has arrived in Damascus. And he is right in the place where he has manipulated us to go to. So my friends, don't be disappointed. He is a different person now. He is a different person. He has got authority in his hands. Don't rupture the ramblers. Christian believers, no good. Make them Christian as fast as you can in six days, check it. The pride in that synagogue, those synagogues, brutal. It's a different mind. A different mind. Compassion truly took place. This mind is never the same. Never. So that's a small one, but it's important. This one for turning around. Now it is proven from Scripture, from the Old Testament. And then if you read, look at verse 22. Bartholomew increased all the boy's strength. and confound the days that Jesus would live in among us by proving that Jesus was the Christ. When the Bible talks about the increase of the moral strength, it's not that he, you know, he came up with a vision. No, this is to do with the strength O God's Word, He grew more and more in understanding the Old Testament, that all the Old Testament is talking about is Jesus Christ. So He was growing in more strength, more strength, more strength. Wow! You see, and of course you can look at the precedenting verses, verses 3 and 4, verses 2 and 3, you will see why. You know my friends, for Saul, for Saul, there lived Christ as the Son of God, to Him was salvation. I know a man has said, we talk so cheaply about Jesus is the son of God. So cheaply, because to strike us, there was a man who would like to, actually was the turning point in his life. If you look at Galatians chapter 1, verse 15 and verse 16, we find this. when He who hath set me apart before I was born, and who called me by His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son to me." There we are! Conversion is having the Son of God revealed to you. God said to him again, when he was pleased to remain, he said unto me, in order that I might please my mother ever, I could not immediately consult with anyone. So, Jesus was remained to Saul. Because nowadays, nowadays, when people are talking about salvation, I mean, it is really, it is down to just morality. Be moral, this will be, it will be nice. Or if you, if you may be involved in corruption, non-stop corruption, if you may be involved in sexual immorality, stop it now. If you're committed to abortion, don't do it again. If you're involved in drugs, come on. No, those things aren't bad. They're good. In other words, to stop corruption, to abandon the life of immorality, to never practice abortion, to stop drugs, as was it last night. These are all challenging situations there, of course. These, in fact, do not come from male alien. Is it a trap or is it just a stupid answer? It's all the same. But being proud of it is not equivalent to salvation. True salvation and friendship is something that only the Son of God can bring about, that He brought it into being. And so, we see these things in this passage. One, we see those astonishments in Shambhala. You look at us, there's one. And all who had him were amazed. Amazed. They were amazed. And they say, is this not the man who made out of him Jerusalem? Or those who call upon him today? They say, And does he not come here for this purpose? To bring them down before the chief priest? So, that is the astonishment. Nobody else scratching their heads. What? And we are confused. What is going on? So, by his position now and the things he was teaching, he just surprised his audience. His life was more than a sin. His previous beacon was to then destroy the name of Jesus. And by the way, that is something I said by day, but I said it by night, and I thought, where did he get it? It gave him a lot of shame. A lot of shame. Let's just look at it. See it. In the verses. Galatians chapter 1 verse 13. Listen to how he talks about that. Galatians chapter 1 verse 13. This is what he says. For you have heard of my former life in Judaism. How I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it. so they don't have a lot of blood but they scream they only want to hear him say he who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy and then we could look across Corinthians also but Corinthians the chapter 15 but Corinthians chapter 15 there verse 9 what we read verse 9 for I believe of the apostles I am worthy to be called an apostle why? why Paul? you have a very useless understanding no this is because I persecuted the church of God Him passed the light Just grace and shame. And I keep asking this. Is there a difference in your life? There's a difference in that. If it brings shame upon you, or you just flipped over, so now you've got new friends, and of course the rest have said their grim requirements but are you saying you just can't make your grant new hymns, new words of praise to the Lord and things like that? Oh, please! This is a complete change of mind from a problem that we have acknowledged! Everyone who previously knew him was similarly chapter 1, verse 13, he says it basically, verse 13 Though I am combative or non-combative, I was a blasphemer, part of the future, I had insolent opponents. But I am still a man, see, because I have acted in la campagne, in unbelief. Well, now my friends, he advocates the very name that previously he was seeking to destroy. So, that's the solution. People could just understand it. What is that we need to do? In Damascus, this led to conspiracy. Conspiracy. The German are planning a counter-provocative war to be a battle of acts. Don't you think that's funny? Acts of denying gain. Looking like a certain breed. When? Mayday attacks the Jews. Put it on tape! Give it to me! I mean, they could just have enough. Anymore for this man. So, they are enforced to debate him. To win him back. So we celebrate in this, we just have to continue to pay. Why the people keep running, they say, we can't have this money anymore. Totally, one, two, three, four, well. So this is a story that goes on throughout the history of the world, yes? Astonishment, confusion, then an escape. Look at Christmas 24 So, we were going to play one of them days, a pass, a deuce, a counter, a kill, and so forth. But, they were putting it on too slow. And they were watching. The game was there, and that made them want to kill him. But it's his time for us to open our eyes, and let him down through an opening in the way. We loaded him in a basket. Friends, we hear, we see. There is a soaring reward over ruining the evil plan of man. Honestly, that's why we are calling this God's Day of Justice, because it is God who is in charge. It's not the Pharisees. It's not the devil, dear lad. It's God who is in charge. The story itself must accept, the believers definitely must accept, and hence the laws. Hence the laws. And I'm so pleased about all this, this plan gets known to the story, the story then communicates something to the other believers, because everywhere you are just seeing Is he in the city? Did he walk out of the city when, you know, a person wanted to kill him? And then his escape was marvellous. You may not like it, but look at what's been my plan. His escape was to take my knife and let him down through an opening in the wall, luring him in a basket. For some, that may be said, but it's not right. I mean, just the other day, you profess faith, you live to be saved. But now you're being led to escape through a basket, through a wall. The buildings in those days were right next to the city strong walls. So if your house was right near the wall, then basically a path over the wall of the city is basically a portion of your house. And so, maybe you don't like him, you know that story, or some of you remember that story in the Old Testament. Friends, what we've been saying is God has not promised comfort. You come and live with my son and take care, my share, comfort. It's not promised. God has not promised that. Don't come to Christ saying, I just want to have a life of comfort. In that case, who shall I have a life of comfort? Who shall have a Christian living? God has not promised comfort but assurance assurance that he will keep you for his glory for his glory in other words, no enemy will cut short God's plan that he has People are like, please, let's remember that. Let's remember that. And remember that, God willing, we will see that again. That has not cancelled our responsibility. It has not. We have to show ourselves that, as we walk out of calamities, as we carry out the work of God, We know He is involved and we know we are saved in His Kingdom. When the work is done, then when He takes us home, then it's not a crime. I want us now to see, because what we have seen so far is Damascus. And in Damascus, we saw astonishment and we saw conspiracy. But now, When he escaped that night through the jungle, he made his way where his parents never told him that he made his way back to Jerusalem. So let us now see the second place. His time in Jerusalem. Apparently He arrived safely. So now I read from verses 26. Or we will see this as we read through verses 26 to 31. And what makes us in Jerusalem this rather interesting? Look at verse 26. And when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples, and they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. And when we see what's happening here, the church in Jerusalem did not wait, I'm sorry, briefly or immediately. They doubted his testimony. Why? Because remember in the film, what he had done in Jerusalem, how he had scattered, of course the Germans scattered. And still in his grand example, stone over stone, he sends stones to death. And this man took letters to go and bring believers, our sisters and brothers in the Mosque, to bring the package to Jerusalem to be tried. And here this man comes and says, listen, I am now one of you. He's like, what? I am totally unsatisfied. I hope you can understand that, dear friends. But that's not the end of your story. Because he has opened Then came Bacchus. Bacchus XXVII. Bacchus Valens, who came and brought him to the apostles and prepared them how on the road he had seen the Lord. We spoke to him on how after Matthias he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. Who is Barnabas? Now those of you who have been here earlier tend to remember this man, Barnabas. After the day of Pentecost, or from the day of Pentecost when the Lord gave birth to His New Testament Church. Can you think about several things to the right, left or centre? And the church there, the new church of Jerusalem was just getting more and more. And the people wondered over the preacher, Jerusalem for the Pascha. They were so excited to hear about Jesus who rose again. That He is the way. That He is the one who brings the name of fellowship with God again. And people do not want to go back to their regions, so they live in the universe, they live in Jerusalem. But as they stay long, they are crying, they are whining, they are fainting. So the people, the natives in Jerusalem, who are also believers, We have to say, how can we help our brothers? So why don't those who brought in his prophecy to help their brothers who were, you know, what can we do today? We call them soldiers. They are now in Jerusalem. They don't have to. Then, by and large, comes the picture. Please look with me at chapter 4 of the Book of Acts. So I'll just take you back a little bit. Chapter 4 of Acts, verse 38. There was not a needy person among them for us to give him as well orders of land or houses. So I went there and I brought the prostitute or wife who was stolen and gave her the opportunity to eat and it was distributed to each. as any had in me, that's it, that Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Pilate, which means son of encouragement, Joseph Levi, a native of Cyprus, he stole the veil that belonged to him and brought it by me and led me that day, apostles, peace. So that is to the person called vanquished. When we did what he did after that, we didn't hear him or him again. But now, age of the night, we hear him, we meet him. And what do we meet him doing? Don't miss the fact that he's described as a son of encumbrance. So, behind the verse, it says that of the incarnate man, we are told in verse 27, chapter 9, verse 27, that he went along, got hold of the sword, lifted the testimony of the sword, and verified it as much as he could. And then he got hold of the sword, and brought the sword into the apostles, and he narrated and persuaded the apostles of his soul's conversion and that when he was conversing as he was entering the Mosque he even preached there in the Mosque. Look at what St. Joseph said in the end, especially in that period, but I read what St. Joseph said, but that was to him approaching the apostles and he said to them how on the road he had seen the Lord. So on the road he had seen the Lord, who had spoken to him, and how at the mantis he had prayed boldly in the name of Jesus. That phrase, that he had seen the Lord, is important. It's important, dear friends, Of course, this was key, this was important, because in theologians they hear a second entrance to be among the apostles and indeed to be counted as one of the apostles. Because he had seen the Lord. Look with me just quickly at 1 Corinthians chapter 9. 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 1. We read here. Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Listen to the next statement. Am I not seeing Jesus as my Lord? So, seeing Jesus was a commercial qualification for one to be conceited and hostile. I know I'm asking you to come back and forth, because that's us. I just want us to make sure we move as much as... If you were freaking out and you told me to go out now again, out of the one minute, there it was 21 or 22. We find in the Acts of the Proverbs 5.32, so why do the men who have accompanied us through all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out of Manila, beginning from the baptism of John, until the day when he was second in our promise, why do these men must become with us a witness to his But I think when seeing Jesus was crucial for him, for a blind man, to make contact was impossible. It seemed to be a bit of a challenge. I hope you are able to understand what I said. But now, in fact, there's another passage you could look to, chapter 22, verse 14, but that's fine. It's not a fascinating thing to do. In fact, you don't have to practice the line. I hope you don't motivate too much, like, with magic, why am I doing magic? It is good to do so, because I want you to be convinced that these things can be Verse 98, just 9 verse 98, you know when we read this verse 98, so he went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord And the point I just want to bring out is the fact that Paul wasn't naturally bold. As you often see in the Massacre, Paul wasn't just naturally bold, because when I say that, it was in 1 Corinthians. If you don't have there, I can read it in 1 Corinthians chapter 1, where he does say something about his own, what was it, divinity. But in 1 Corinthians, Ok, that's better. First Corinthians chapter 2, verse 1. This is what we read. Chapter 2, verse 3. And as he says, I ask of you, in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, I must see each of my faces, who are not in plausible words of wisdom, but in a demonstration of the spirit and the power. Why? So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. And so really, Paul is not just bringing this matter of boldness here. No, true Christian boldness and honesty is something that one must crave for, because the Apostle Paul himself doubted Him ask people to pray for Him that they will be bold. If you look with me now in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 19, that's what it is asking, verse 19. And also, pray for me that once they declay then to declay. in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in the church, that I may declare it boldly as I ought to speak. And the same truth is given in Revelation chapter 4, verses 3 and 4. So I say, Christian boldness is actually something that God provides, God gives. When we ask for it, God is pleased to give us. We are back to ask. Ask such a call. Ask such a call. And what do we find? We were still denied. But people who ask for boldness, and they were given. I said before, what's your name? And now, Lord, look at their face and grant to your talents to continue to speak your word with all fullness. So there we are, on the drop of us, 31. And when we have prayed, the blessing we shall have last night, together, once again, and we are all filled with the Holy Spirit, and continue to speak the Word of God with holiness. Dear congregation, dear believers in this church, If you do pray for your pastors, your preachers here, pray for us to have boldness. Not to shout, but to have boldness to be able to declare the truth of God's Word without fear. This is important, how God provides it in this way. Well, so, there was a vision in Jerusalem among the believers that Paul was going to sign, but Barnabas, oh Barnabas, it's only in every church But only in this church we have bankers, men that we name for encouragement. Those who can go alongside others and encourage them in their situations. Not pointing out people's faults but coming along and saying, what can we learn from this? How can we make it better? So that in all this glorified, so that the church of God is there. We need one of us in this church. We sure do. Well, but then, it's not only a transition, then there was the answer. There we are again. In Jamma, before you can find it, it was 29. It was 29. and he spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him. And they could just have this mind show from the Old Testament, the Old Testament that they all came from love and belief, for which there is no dispute there. So he came in front of the masters, he said to them, he said, you guys got it wrong! I was with you, we got it wrong! This is the way it should be! Jesus is the son of God, he's the Christ, they're waiting for what God says. And he said, what? We can't have that. So they planned to carry out his plan. To scourge him and his tribe. And of course as they were coming back, then the old plumbers have come, either idiots or believers. Because Fatih tells us, and when the brothers learnt this, they brought him down to Sicily and sent him off to Tarsus. you may remember when Adam and Eve were sent to that particular house, you can look back in verse 11, verse 11, the Lord said to him, rise and go to the three corners straight, and ask the house of Judas, look for a man of taxes, name his story, before that he is prayed. For his own safety, they helped him to escape and go back to church as his own city. That was important for him, at least he stayed there. And he was there for quite a number of years, say around 10 years. Suddenly, a young lady was there with her mouth shut, saying, Mama, I might be killed. No, he was there proclaiming. the one of God. Amazingly, the Bible doesn't tell us if he helped establish us there, how many people got saved there. No, it is not in the hand of Luke, led by the Holy Spirit, to tell us what happened in Christianity. Someone should face him and say, come on, there is one who can come. You can't be informed any longer. Come! And that someone will be a teenager who is none other than Barnabas himself. Well, the result of all this, we are told, friends, was that when we saw the Church throughout all of Judea, Gamaliel and Samaria had peace, and was being built up, and walking in the fear of the Lord, and I am an example of that when I said, I could fly. So souls of Russian, you know, the Lord was pleased that through that death there was commotion, but then after that the Lord was pleased to bring peace. This peace is in relation of church to the Lord himself. The very last few sentences, and walking in the ear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. So this is peace. with this closing time to the Holy Spirit working in people's lives, causing them to know more about the Lord and to fear the Lord in their walk. Well, dear citizens of L.A., let me just give you the three things to carry on with you by way of application. Number one, those who seek to follow Christ must expect persecution. And I know we have come, we have given that point a number of times, but those who seek to show Christ good differently, those who truly become good, those who truly confess compassion, will bring death for persecution. prepare for persecution because the world hates Christ the world hates the things of God truly now they think they have God these Jewish people, the ones who marked that Stylian in chapter 7 well, Stylian from Omnioraptor So, when I'm talking like that, they thought, no, no, this is not a believer in God. And yet, they were missing the point. And now, one of their own, coming to see, to meet the Lord Jesus, and his life changing completely. Basically, he opened the door to persecution. He did not speak, he did not act. No! It's not that you get people waiting at your gate or at your door, or breaking your window to come in and give you a specific view of northern Kenya or bordering Somalia, there is certainly a view. That can happen! But if you are a believer, and you say no to sin, and you believe it according to the promises and the details and in the fear of the Lord my friend, you will face opposition there at school, there at work, in the office, in the factory by the time you get home, you stand for the Lord you will be persecuted if the Lord by His grace should the whole world persecution or opposition be handled, but it can come anytime. Like a preacher, don't say, no, you have left me, I thought I am the only believer here, and now what? How long can I suffer like this? Oh, my friends, now you know. Now you know. Those who seek to follow Christ must accept Leave those who tell you, come to Christ and all your problems will be over, right? They are cheating you. Of course, the Lord will protect you, till the one is down, falling on your heart. In the second place, and this is tied to what I have just said, the love of God. Because what God has said before his people will be done. Whatever God the Lord has said before his people will be done. And the enemy will not win. God will be done. Now, the Lord is not going to do the work for us, we citizens, comfortably. We must live by it. We must carry out our work and carry it out faithfully Dear brothers and sisters, members of this church How can the Lord's work in this church be done? How? I mean the Lord, the Lord Why he has done this? In one sense I don't know, but in another, in this context I know. The Lord is allowing us to have this structure, this building, all being set up there. You know what? If we should please the Lord, and this is grand, I don't know, but if we should please the Lord that this hall be overflowing so that there is an overflow up there, And we have to relay services up there through CCTV cameras or whatever, TV set up. So be it. But how will that happen? The Lord has been pleased to give us this building. And it's a job, again and again. Don't sit back and say, I'm real. We are great. Anyone passing here must say, wow, this is wonderful. So it's wonderful when you get to know that we have a work to do. We have to witness, we have to go out, we have to persuade people. And listen, it's not just to persuade people and say, come to our building, we've got a new building. But I hope when they come they will hear the gospel. But we must witness to people, we must preach to them, evangelize them. Just come then. That's a better way than saying, you've got a new structure. Come and see it. Come and worship with us. Because we have a new structure. First of all, because. Chinese men, you have seen it. Remember you're asking questions. so that you are able to answer them as you can, and then tell them, please, come and hear more of these things. My pastors will help you. That's why we are here. Finally, finally dear friends, our time is gone, but the final thing is this. I am believing in every one of us, everyone now, not only members of this church, not only believers, but everyone. Read the Old Testament and read the Scriptures with a keen interest to know or find the Lord Jesus Christ Read the Scriptures, certainly the Old Testament, read the Scriptures with a keen interest to know and find the Lord Jesus Christ. What's different is Christ is in all the Scriptures. He is there. It's our work as we preach, as we let it go, and certainly as preachers. Please don't preach without being identically devotional. Don't preach moralistically. Then so and so did this in the Old Testament and it goes back. Don't be like that. You can't help anyone. People don't have their own wills or how we deal with it. Which by the way is a minor noun. So, when you see such a figure, such a person in the Old Testament and the way they live and how it goes, show them, brethren I hope you are listening, show them That there is another one, the fulfillment, who in Him, then we are now able to succeed, where such people in the Lord Jesus will fail. And that other one is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. Bring Christ to people. that they may know Christ and be saved. And if you don't know Christ and thank Him, you will not be saved. Yeah, you may go through some religious experience, true, but no, that is not salvation. Sadly, many in this country are religious, they've heard things on the Bible, and they are reminding themselves now, We can have non-believers, but no, their lives are not changed. That 180 degrees we talked about, mm-mm, they're not changed. So, I congratulate you. I truly congratulate you. Is your life upside down or the other way around? Lord, Lord, thank you. Thank you so much. but the way he turned slowly, upside down, he turned him around from a persecutor to a defender and by becoming a defender he opened up himself to a position in persecution and suffering God, may we not be there Because our master, the Lord Jesus, went that route. So help us, help us we pray, to go forth, to live our own. That is how sinners will be saved. If in the process we face challenges, you have warned us. Lord, hear our prayer. And those who are unsaved and they are here today, may they see Christ afresh. May they turn to Him and be saved. These things we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
