Okay, the last message that we did this morning, we tried to do it on TalkShoe and it didn't come out very clear. So I'm going to try to just substantively talk a little bit about what I talked about this morning and replace it for you to listen to when you get a chance. I have a question for all of those listening, especially those that are in church leadership, pastors, bishops, deacons, elders, apostles, disciples, whatever you call yourself, doctor of divinity, master of divinity, reverend, teacher, evangelist, whatever you call yourself. My question to you is, Do you believe in the total separation of the church and the state? I've heard many Baptist ministers get up and talk about what separates the Baptist from every other denomination is that they believe in the separation of church and state. But if you go in the office of the pastor you'll find a state license up on his wall. Isn't that a little duplicitous? I believe it is. We are not to be licensed by the state that we are residing in. Attorneys get licensed to practice law. Plumbers get licensed to practice plumbing. Electricians get licensed to practice electrical work. Chiropractors get licensed to practice chiropractic services. Pastors get licensed to practice pastoring. You know? And who are you under the auspices of as a preacher? Are you under the auspices of God Almighty or are you under the auspices of the state that you're residing in? And that you're preaching in? That's my question. You say, well we don't have a 501c3. So what? You still have a license to preach up on your wall in your office. I refuse to be licensed to preach. You say, well I cannot give up my license because that would do away with my ordination. No man can do away with your calling by God. God is the one that calls you, God is the one that puts you into that office and I can prove that through scripture in 2 Timothy 1. People want to give man all the credit for everything anymore. to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, not according to your ordination of men or your license. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father in Christ Jesus our Lord, not from Rome, not from the state of Missouri, not from the state of California, not from the state of Minnesota, not from the state of Indiana, whatever. For God, verse 7, hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound mind. People say, well, I have to do it because the state requires it. No, it doesn't. God does not require that you be licensed as a minister if you are called into ministry. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me as prisoner, but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God, not the power of Rome or the power of the state of Missouri. And now, verse 9, the who there is Jesus. Jesus has saved us and called us with the holy calling. Not according to our works. not according to our license, not according to our man's ordination, not according to our multiple baptisms, not according to our tithing, not according to our mission trips, not according to our seminary degree. He saved us and called us with a holy calling not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us once we got licensed through the state of Missouri, right? which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, before Rome even was, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to the light through the gospel, whereunto I am appointed a preacher." Who appointed him a preacher? The state of Missouri? The ordination of the Board of Deacons? The ordination of the elders? I am appointed a preacher by Jesus Christ who called us with a holy calling, not according to our works. I am appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. Why did Paul suffer so much at the hands of the Jews and at the hands of Rome? because he would not come under their authority. That's why they hated him so much. Verse 12 For the witch cause I also suffer for these things. Nevertheless, I am not ashamed. For I know whom I have believed and persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have commanded him against that day. Hold fast the form of sound words which thou hast heard of me. Don't go running off and serving man. Don't go off and getting state licenses. Don't go off and try to get accepted by the Board of Elders and subscribing to some creed, confession, or denomination. Hold fast the form of sound words which thou hast heard of me in faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus, not in the Baptist Church, not in the Westminster Confession, not in infant baptism, not in covenant theology, not in the license given to you by the state. Hold fast the form of sound words which thou hast heard of me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Well, that's what's on my mind today. those out there that have come under all these man-centered, un-God-honoring, not God-honoring at all, organizations, whether it's the Board of Elders, the Board of Beacons, the sessions, confessions, creeds, licenses, People say, well I can't give up my license because it will affect my ordination. You are ordained of God if you are called by God. Paul said, I confer not with flesh and blood. You want to be free of all men? Tear up that license on you all. Tear up that ordination. and start speaking the words of God rather than the words of man. Quit going to all your commentaries to find out what other men have to say to see if you're politically correct or not. Don't be so worried about what others say about you. If others are saying that you're preaching false doctrine, if you're preaching the Bible, let them say whatever they want to say. And I don't care what kind of degrees they have behind their name. I don't care if they're a Greek scholar, a Hebrew scholar, have a Ph.D., Doctor's Divinity degree, Master's of Divinity degree, whatever. If they are coming under man's authority, and they're licensed by the state, and they have not been called by God, I'm not interested in anything they have to say. I'm not interested in anything they have to say. You can't serve two masters. You're going to love one and hate the other or hate the one and love the other. Why do all these people who have doctor's degrees want to try to uphold dispensationalism? They're climbing up some other way. They're a thief and a robber. That's why. Why did Darby say that major portions of the New Testament did not even apply to the church, only applied to the Jews. What a lie! Woe unto you scribes, you Pharisees, you hypocrites, who have warned you to flee from the wrath to come. there's only one mediator between God and man and that is the man Christ Jesus not the state of Israel not Netanyahu not President Trump not the embassy in Jerusalem not the building of the third temple not some false tamalic kabbalic messiah set up by devil worshippers No, there is only one mediator between God and man, and that is the man Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but unless they have their license through the stake, right? Give me a break. Another form of potpourri. There's only one mediator between God and man and that's the man Christ Jesus. It's not the state of Missouri or whatever state you live in. So why are you making such an issue over this? Well, it's going to become more and more an issue all the time. The state's going to start dictating what you say from the pulpit and what you don't say. Especially if you're licensed through the state. You can't say anything against homosexuality. You can't say anything against Zionism. You can't say anything against Judaism, Confucianism, Hinduism. All paths lead to God. How dare you partake in that kind of hate speech, that intolerant hate speech. We know that all paths lead to God. to lie from Satan. Christ said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me, not through the Kabbalah, not through the Talmud, not through Judaism, not through Netanyahu, not through the Pope, not through the Roman Catholic Church that Babylon was for. So don't tell me that you believe in separation of church and state. Continue to hold on to being licensed by the state as a preacher. That's my thoughts today. May the good Lord bless His word. Apply it to our hearts. And there is going to be great separation. and there's going to be a remnant who don't go into Rome, who don't want to go into the world church, who don't want to be licensed by their state, who don't want their conscience to be bound by the lies of Satan. Are you one of those? Well, the good Lord Take this word and use it for His glory. In Christ's name we pray, Amen.
Do You Believe In Separation of Church and State
Many say they believe in the separation of church and state but are licensed by the state. What's wrong with this picture? Are you ordained and licensed by men and the State or by God?
