Hello and welcome to the program. We're here with a little strength for today. We're into the Psalms chapter 2 verse number 1. Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things? As we've seen in our previous program, we're dealing here with the Jews and the Gentiles. When it says, why do the heathen rage? It's referring to the Gentiles and the people imagine a vain thing. To imagine something is to form a mental image of whatever it is we're thinking about. We're living in an age when the world is filled with raging and violence. Leaders have no solutions to the problem. Mankind has chosen to reject God and therefore reject his word and therefore reject God's people. And so they reject Israel politically. And as far as religion is concerned, they reject Christianity. The Gentiles today are raging against the Jews. It's unbelievable that since October the 7th massacre, that Gentiles around the world support Hamas. The media is also against the Jews today. They're always showing how bad things are going. In Palestine, they're not showing how bad things are going for the Jews. Why are they against the Jews? Well, one reason is Matthew 27, 25, where Jesus was before Pilate, just before the crucifixion, What shall I do with Jesus Pilate said and they said crucify him. Matthew 27 25 says then answered all the people and said his blood be upon us and upon our children. Well, what was the result of that? In AD 50 30,000 Jews were killed in Jerusalem by the Romans. In AD 66 Titus came with an army of 60,000 and another 40,000 died. In AD 70 the Roman army numbering a hundred thousand people came against Jerusalem. Over a million Jews perished and 97,000 were taken captive. Later in England, in AD 1020, all Jews were banished from England. In AD 1066, there was only one burial place in all of England where Jews were allowed to be buried. In A.D. 1096, the Holy War began by trying to murder all the Jews in Europe. In A.D. 1188, murderous riots were instigated against the Jews again. Why? Simply because they were Jews. In France, in A.D. 1306, 100,000 Jews were stripped of their possessions for the benefit of the royal treasury, and they were cast out of the land. In A.D. 1683, the Jews were ordered out of all the French colonies. In Germany, in A.D. 1348 to 1350, the plague of the Black Death swept over Europe and the Jews were blamed. The entire Jewish community of Strasbourg, 2,000 souls were burned to death on an immense scaffold. In A.D. 1560, they were banished from Prague. In Constance, the noble 3,000 houses of the Jews' quarters were burned and their belongings were confiscated, which started with expelling Jews, followed by Hitler's concentration camps. Today, all over the world, people are siding with the demonic animals who slaughtered innocent men and women. and children during the October 7th massacre. One reason for all of this is because of Matthew 27, 25, at the crucifixion, the Jew said, then answered all the people and said, his blood be upon us. and upon our children. Another reason is Jesus said in Matthew 24 and verse 9, then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake, because of his name. Jesus said in Luke 10, 16, he that heareth you heareth me, and he that despises you despises me, and he that despises me despises him that sent me. The question is, why is God's son, why is his name used as a swear word for the last 2,000 years? When somebody slams a finger with a hammer or gets upset for some other reason, why don't they curse the devil? Why do they curse God's son? We need to remember that God said to Israel in Genesis chapter 12 and verse three, I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curse thee. We are very quickly approaching the tribulation period and God has two purposes in the tribulation period. One is to bring judgment against Israel, and the other is to bring judgment against the nations of the world because of how they treated Israel in the past 2,000 years. Psalm chapter two, verse number two says, the kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us. We'll look at it in our next program. Be sure to be with us.
