Wonderful Holy Spirit, we welcome Your awesome presence in revealing Your Word to our hearts for this hour. Father, I thank You for anointing Your people in receiving Your anointed Word in Jesus' name. To the book of Jeremiah, chapter 30, verses 4 through 6. And these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus said the Lord, We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Act ye now and see, whether a man do travail with child, wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness." We want to derive a thought from verses 6 of Jeremiah chapter 30, Pregnant with purpose. Pregnant with purpose. In dealing with this message, what I want us to realize is that God has a divine plan for each one of us. And there are things in life that we will have to go through. And sometimes we can avoid facing many of these things But whatever God may allow to come our way, it's for our making, our perfecting, our developing, our maturing, as well as our growing. And I've come to realize that each person on this earth is here for a divine reason. And the only way that people will come to know their purpose They must surrender their lives to Jesus, and then the process begins. I want to kind of stress this. Each person is born in this world for a reason. And there are many of you that's listening to this teaching. You are searching and wondering, why are you really here? You feel so unfulfilled and incomplete. But I want you to continue to listen to this teaching because I believe that God is going to talk to you through this Word that you have been pregnant with purpose. What God is telling the prophet Jeremiah is something very unusual, something that's very strange and that's very odd. And He's telling Jeremiah to see if a man, a male, can travail with child, or get pregnant like a woman, and go through mood swings like a woman who is about to give birth. Well, to answer that question, yes, a man can get pregnant, but not naturally, but in the spiritual standpoint. And that happens when God places the seed of His Word in that man's spirit and heart, and it begins to grow. That man will experience strange things and even mood swings. When I think about Jonah, the prophet, who was pregnant with purpose from God, how he ran from God, and the thing about it, he knew God's hand was upon his life. Did he try to get away? And let me show you what happened to Jonah who was pregnant with purpose. Number one, he ran from God and got into all kinds of trouble. Number two, he caused others to suffer because of his rebellion. Number three, He was swaddled up by something bigger than he was and could not get out. Number four. He was separated from his family for three days and nights in a place he never knew he would be in, and this place was dark, this place was cold, this place was lonely. this place was gloomy, this place was depressing, and this place was frightening. But when Jonah got tired of fighting against what God impregnated him with, and decided to allow God to birth out of him what was in him, let me show you what God did for Jonah. Number one, God sent his word to what had Jonah, and it freed him. 2. God gave Jonah another chance to get his act together. 3. God anointed Jonah to do what he birthed in Jonah to do. 4. God showed Jonah the results of his obedience by saving the whole city. Number five, God showed Jonah what will happen when he tried to avoid what he was pregnant with from Him. There are so many people in churches walking the streets, they're hooked on drugs, who are pregnant with purpose from God. and the enemy is trying to take many of them out before they can come to know what God put in them and many know that the hand of God is on their lives but they don't know why so they begin to run from God's purpose to do their own but just as God got Jonah's attention he's about to get so many today who walk in the streets, in church buildings. He's about to get their attention. And many of you that's listening to me, you know that God hands upon your life. But you might not know why or what God really has for you to do. But let me show you how to find out, as an individual, what God's purpose is for your life. understand something. You may be pregnant with purpose, pregnant with God's plans, pregnant with God's will, and that simply means it's that God wants to do in you something particular, everybody God uses differently. And you're listening to this teaching, you know, you feel, You've been feeling this for some time now, but you really haven't come to know why you've been feeling like you're feeling, and what God really wants you to do. Well, let me show you how to find out what God may have impregnated you with and for. Number one, if you don't have a prayer life, get one. The major key in you coming to discover God's purpose for your life as a believer is by you spending time in prayer every single day. Develop a prayer life. Seek God consistently, diligently, faithfully, asking Him, God, what is your purpose for me? Number two, If you're not in a sound Bible-believing church, find one. In coming to discover God's purpose for your life, you have to be in a place where you're being taught nothing but the Word. Not philosophy, not some church dogma or doctrine, but what the Word has said. Number three, if you're not in the Word, get in the Word. In order to find God's purpose, you must become familiar with the Word of God. God talks to us through His Word. Spend time searching, studying, reading, meditating on the Word. Number four. If you are tired of running from God, stop and surrender. As I brought out earlier, Many of you know what God is calling you to do, and many of you probably still don't know. But I hope that after this teaching, those of you who know will stop running and surrender to God, and those of you who don't know will get serious enough where you will seek God to find out. And finally, how to find God's purpose. If you're not growing in the place where you are, ask God to lead you to a place where you can grow. Listen, location is vitally important in God's purpose for your life being revealed to you, and you coming to do what's been revealed. Understand something, I stress location to people. because God deals in location. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. God's Spirit is not allowed everywhere, and because He's not, a lot of things don't happen. In your life as a believer, if you are in a local assembly, and you're not growing, if you have been there over five and six and ten years, and your life is still the same, something is wrong some way. Either it's you, or it's the place you are in. And understand this as well. You can have a hunger in you for more, but you can be in a location that's not offering what you're hungering for. It's time to move. Because God's purpose that's been birthed in you will not be birthed out of you. It can be aborted while sitting up in a local assembly. So now let me give you the signs that one is pregnant. Number one, it's something that you don't want to really do. You run from it. Number two, you make excuses as to why you can't. Number three, you willfully rebel when you're pregnant. And number four, you stay away from the place you're supposed to be in. Number five, you get involved into all kind of destructive things. And number six, you do things you know to be sinful and wrong. If you're listening to this teaching, and Jesus Christ is not your personal Lord and Savior, I stress this, if He's not your personal Lord, not what church you're in, not who preacher hand you shook, not going down in water, Jesus Christ must be your personal Lord and Savior. If He's not your personal Lord, in order for you to know His purpose for your life, you must surrender your life to Him. And not just to know His purpose, my friend, so that you won't die and go to the lake of fire. See, it's not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. If you're ready to surrender your life to Jesus, my friend, bow your head at this moment and repeat this prayer from your heart. Say, Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you came to planet Earth, you hung on a cross, you shed your blood for my sins, you died, you was buried, you rose again, and you're alive right now. Forgive me of my sins, wash me in your blood come into my heart be Lord of my life from this day forward I surrender all to you Lord Jesus and my friend if you are saved already and you do not know God's purpose for your life and you have been running from God's purpose you might know his purpose but you still are not doing what you know I want to take this time to pray for you. Loving Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for ministering to my brother, ministering to my sister, who know your hand is upon their life, but, Father, they might not know why. I'm asking you to reveal to them, open their eyes that they may see your purpose that you have brought in them, and, God, give them the wisdom and the strength, lead them to the location that they can be taught the Word, and strengthened through the Word, where they will no longer run and rebel from what You're calling them to do. God, I'm asking You now to anoint my brother, to anoint my sister, who know Your hand is upon their life, and those that's going forth even now, God, strengthen them who are pregnant with purpose, and they're doing Your purpose. But God, those who are still not doing it, stir their hearts, I pray this day, in the mighty and glorious name of Jesus, pregnant with purpose.
