John, the 17th chapter, one of
the most beautiful chapters in the Bible. It's a real prayer.
The real Lord's Prayer is what it is. It's the Lord's real intercessory
prayer. We have an example of an intercessory
prayer in the Old Testament. And who was that man that interceded
for Sodom and Gomorrah? Abraham. All right. Abraham interceded
for Sodom and Gomorrah. And we have Jesus interceding
for us. You know, the Muslim world, you
know, Mohammed borrowed a lot of things from the Bible. He borrowed it. You know, that's
what you call plagiarism. But when he made his night journey
on Baruch, that donkey with big ears like an elephant and a head
like a human, that flew him from Mecca to Jerusalem that night
and then he went to Jerusalem, he assembled the saints and then
flew into the seventh heaven and went through each heaven
like that. He went up there and he used this example right here
and the example of Abraham in the Old Testament. And he went
up there and first of all he made all of the prophets bow
down to Muhammad. Muhammad means what? the praised
one. He had to teach Jesus and Adam
and all of them how to pray. And they had to, because he was
the best prayer in the universe that ever lived, you know, he
was the best. And so he showed them how to pray. Well anyway,
he went up to heaven and supposedly Allah gave him a demand for all
of those people that would be adherents to his religion, which
was the true religion, they said. They had to pray 50 times a day. And in the highest heaven there
next to God was Moses, not Jesus, Moses. So he went down there,
and Moses said, well, you know, you need to go back up there,
because that's too heavy a burden on the people. So he went back
up, and he said, well, how about 40 times a day? And Allah said,
that's OK. So he come down there and saw
Moses again. He said, Moses, send him back.
This is really, this is in the Quran. Do you know this? OK.
And he went back up there and he said, well, that's too much.
Can you have it 30 times? And Allah said, OK, Muhammad,
you know best. So he went back down and then
he went down and he saw Moses again. He says, 30 is too much. The people are too big of a burden
on people to pray 30 times a day. Go back up there and ask for
20. So he went back up there and Allah said, well, you know
best, yes. 20 times. So he went back down to Moses,
and he said, you better go back. He said, I'm afraid to go back.
Oh, no. Allah loves you. He loves you above all people
that have ever lived, above all the prophets. You're the greatest.
So he went back up there, and he asked him if he would do 10
times a day. And so he said yes. And he goes
back down to Moses again. He said, you better go back.
Go back up there and ask for five times. Muhammad went back
up there, and he asked Allah, can my people pay five times
a day? Is that enough? The burden is too heavy. They
won't adhere to the religion unless I can say just like five
times a day. That's a lot, but five times,
they can do that. And so he said, oh, yes, Muhammad, you know best.
You know the people. So he went down, and that's why
the Muslims pray five times a day instead of 50 times a day. And
that's that. Now let's go and look at the
real intercessory prayer. Not fairy tales, but the truth.
Okay? Not fairy tales, but the truth. In this Lord's Prayer, we see
the intercessory prayer of Jesus for us, and we also see an explanation
of the human will. An explanation of the human will. human will in this and we will
see this now by the way I cannot read this from English we're
gonna I'm gonna go to Greek and translate it to you from Greek
okay because English just doesn't get it if you cannot get what
this scripture say here from English just the translations
are too weak it's just not enough now I'll be reading it to you
in English but I'll be translating as we go because I want you to
know what it says these things he spoke and the word here speaks
and The word speak here is laleo. Remember what that means, Roger?
Laleo? Sharon? That means to speak by
facility of the human language, with your tongue, your teeth,
and everything. In other words, Jesus was real. That's what it says.
Because he had a real mouth, real tongue, real lips, real
voice box. He's not a spirit or a spook
or something. He is real. This is real Jesus. The Gnostics
said he wasn't real. All of the information that Mohammed
got was from the Gnostics, by the way. And these saints, he
spoke, Jesus, and having lifted up the eyes of him unto the heaven,
he said, Father, it has come, the hour. It has come. It's here now. It has come, the
hour. You glorify the son of you, order
that the son that he may glorify you now that he may glorify you
there is in the subjunctive mode and what does that mean that
means that there is a contingency there's something that contingency
if the father glorified Jesus Jesus could glorify the father
couldn't he okay that's the problem okay right there 17 in verse
2 now just as you have given to him authority over all flesh
Now, what do your translations say over mankind? What's it say? Mankind. It's not what it's talking
about, mankind. That misses the boat. It's sarkos. Sarkos is
equivalent to the Latin carne and the Hebrew basar. It means
flesh. Now, did Jesus have power over
fish? Did he? Yeah, he did. Call the
fish. Two times we see in the Bible
that he calls them to catch fish. Who called the fish? Jesus did. When Peter went through his fishing
pole line into the Galilee, what did he find? There was a fish
there that had a coin in his mouth. There were coins in his
mouth that paid for Peter and Jesus' temple money. So to speak, their tax, their
individual tax. He had power over the birds of
the air. In the last great battle, they
talk about the Lord is going to call the birds of the air.
When Moses was bringing the plagues upon Egypt through Aaron, they
called in the lice. He called in frogs. He called
in grasshoppers. He called in all these animals.
Did they obey? Yeah, they did. They're flesh, aren't they? Did
that donkey that had never been ridden before, did it obey? Yeah,
just like it's a tame, gentle donkey. Okay. Over all flesh,
not human beings, but flesh, all created beings. When he was
out there in the wilderness, being tempted for 40 days, the
Bible says the wild beasts came and communed with him. Did he
have power over all flesh? Yes. So we missed half of this
verse here because it said man. not man, it's over everything
on this earth. In order that all which you have
given to him, and I want you to see this here,
it's Dosei with the Eola script underneath that Ada. Now, many
of you don't know what I'm talking about at all. But that's in the
subjunctive mode. That he may give to them life
eternal. to the people that believe He
will give eternal life. But what does it mean in the
subjunctive mold, Brother Roger? It's His choice. That's the choice. There's volition in each and
every one of those people. Alright? There's volition in
each person. The human will is involved. When
God created Adam, He created him, it says in the Hebrew, in
his shadow-casting likeness, which means what? His spiritual
likeness and his blood-flowing likeness, which is in his what?
physical likeness of the pre-incarnate Christ and in his sovereign will
which is the soul of man has that will Try only the sovereignty
he got God created man in his shadow casting his spiritual
likeness his physical likeness and in his sovereign likeness
man is a sovereign being You get to do the wrong thing if
you want to his brother Abe said a little earlier to them that
they may have may have eternal life 17 verse 3 this and this
it is the eternal life in order that it's gonna old school sin that
they may know there relates the human will again because that's
in the subjunctive mode the subductive mode says that man has volition
that man is sovereign over his destiny okay Now we know that
God in eternity past wrote down everybody that would be saved
in the Lamb's Book of Life, didn't he? That's what we call the foreknowledge
of God and it's called predestination and it's called election sometimes.
But don't ever think that election goes beyond the will of man.
There are two groups of religious groups in the world. One of them
is Armenian and one of them is Calvinist. All right? But there are superlapsarians,
infralapsarians, and sublapsarian Calvinists, and even modified
sublapsarian, because I am one. You have groups in the world
that believe in Arminianism. And Arminianism is heresy, so
to speak. Because in all Arminianism, even
Chuck Smith was what we call a moderate Arminian. OK? That's Calvary Chapel. He believed
that a man could fall from grace. That's possible, but there are
different stages of that in different forms. Just like there are in
different Levels of armenianism he was probably the the most
conservative armenian, okay? I'm not armenian at all. It's
heresy Armenianism says that you can fall from grace the bible
doesn't say that does it? You're saved you're saved period
there is no way out because when you come when you're born you
can't get unborn can you? You're born into this world,
you can't be unborn. When you're born again, you don't
get unborn. Now God may beat the tar out of you, kill you
maybe, for a life that you live, but if you've been born again,
you're born again forever, period. Here we again, again, when we
have this word, that they may know. The may know there is the
human will. The only true God. The only true God in whom you
have sent Jesus Christ. The only true God. 17-4. I you I glorify. Every time Jesus
speaks about something there, it's always in the indicative
mode. He did it. The indicative mode is an affirmation
of the verb as a factual statement. When you have the subjunctive
mode, something is contingent upon that. And every time we
see here is the human will. By the way, I'm a modified sublapsarian. I don't believe in limited atonement.
I don't believe in irresistible grace, because I've seen people
resist the grace of God. I believe in total hereditary
depravity, but not like people are dead and can't hear. I believe
in an unconditional election. I believe it. I don't believe
in limited atonement. I don't believe in irredeemable grace,
but I do believe in preservation of the saints. That's what you
call TULIP. And I don't know how many of you heard me teach
on TULIP. All right, TULIP is Calvinism. That's what it is. And you I glorified upon the
earth. I have done this. The work, having finished, I
have completed. I brought to an end and a finish.
which you have given to me that I may do." Now, why did Jesus
say, I may do? Why did He have this in the subjunctive
mode? Because He had a human nature, didn't He? Could Jesus
have sinned? It's possible, wasn't it? Because
He lived in the human body. But He lived without sin. He
didn't have the sin nature, but He was surrounded by the sin
nature, wasn't He? Did Jesus ever get weak in the
spirit? Yeah, in Gethsemane. He did,
didn't he? He said, Father, let this pass
from me if it be thy will. I mean, it's possible. Why? Because
he knew exactly what he was going to face. The great pain that
he was about to be amassed upon his structure of a body was going
to be horrible, and he knew it. He had tasted it from before
the very foundation of the earth, but he was about to get it in
space and time real. that I may do." Christ had done everything that
He had set out to do. Nothing was left undone. 17 and
verse 5, And now you glorify Me, Father, with yourself with
the glory which I had and kept on having, which I kept on having
before the before the world became. That's what it says, before the
world became with you. Before the world came into existence,
before God spoke the world into existence in Genesis 1 and 1,
this is where He spoke. But I'm going to tell you something,
if you go back there in eternity past on that God's plan of the
age and that dispensational chart up there, and I'm not a hyper-dispensationalist
either, but if you go way back there in eternity past, God created
angels and spirits. And then he began to create material
things. And this is what he says here.
Before anything was created, I had the glory in the pre-incarnate
Christ, and I kept on having this forever. John 1 and 1 says,
in beginning kept on being the word. And the word there is a
Hebraism, which means in beginning kept on being the Jehovah. And
it says in the second sentence in John 1 and 1, The Jehovah
kept on being toward the God or kept on being in a separate
part of the Godhead because it says are truly God kept on being
the word or the word kept on being God and the word there
is Jehovah That's the term it is the word from how the bar
in Greek or Hebrew that is brought over into Greek as whole logos
It's one and the same. It's a Hebrew ism Before the world became, He had
glory with Him. He wants Him to glorify Him with
that glory. Jesus is subservient in person. Jesus was all man
and He was all God at the same time, wasn't He? He said in verse
6, I have put in the spotlight, or I have manifested of you the
name. That word onimah there, that
means the authority to. His name, His authority. the
name of God, to the men, to the mankind. Now here we have a word
where it says to mankind. Yes he has. And of whom ye have
given to me out of the world, to you they kept on being, and
me them you have given, and the word of you they have kept. Who's
it talking about here? The church. The Church. There
are two absolute elections in the Bible. Israel and the Church. Israel and the Church. I want
you to understand that 70% of the Protestant world has no idea
what I just said. Israel and the Church. And the
Church is not all the same either. Period. The Church is not all
the same. There is the family of God and
there is the Church and they're two separate entities. Okay?
And there's Israel. Verse 17, 7. Now they have known
that all as many as you have given to me from you they are. They exist. Except for one. One Jesus picked out in that
church. What's the word ekklesia mean? It comes from two Greek
words, ekk and kolio. And what does that mean, Brother
Roger? Ekk and kolio. Call out. Jesus called out his
church in his personal ministry, and he started calling it out
at Galilee, okay I'm still got pneumonia the ear infection and
sinus infection, and it's still working on me And I'm on my third
set of antibiotics and please excuse all of my coughing and
grunting and stuff I Can't do anything about it Because the
Ramata That comes from Reo, which means the flow, and right here
it means the edicts. The edicts, the statements, the
rules. In the Old Testament, there were
the laws of Moses, wasn't there? Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt
not murder, and what it really says, thou shalt not keep on
killing and thou shalt not keep on murdering. Muhammad missed that one, didn't
he? And the words, the indictments that rules the law, which is
you gave to me, I have given to them, and them they received. And they know truly that from
you I came forth, and they believed that you, me, you sent out, that
you sent me out. And the word sent out there comes
from, our word apostle comes from that word. That means to
send out with authority. Jesus, by the authority of the
triune Godhead, hit this earth. Yes, He did. But I want you to
understand what God did when He fought your redemption. God
put the Son in a very precarious world, a cosmos. The cosmos that
was controlled by Satan. Satan is a god of this world
right now in me, okay? Jesus was born of Mary the Virgin
Mary now. I'm gonna tell you something
Mary didn't keep on being a virgin Mary wasn't caught up to heaven
as the immaculate a conception and all this she wasn't conceived
immaculately she didn't have a virgin birth so to speak and
That's all Fairy tales too from Catholicism And Muhammad said
when he was caught up to the heaven in his night journey up
there, that he went up there and Allah introduced him to the
virgin Mary and he took her in wife and she was indeed still
a virgin. He can prove it. She was a virgin. If you believe
that, I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge two or three times. But
that's what he said. Mary was a woman. She was a virgin. God put his seed in her, and
she brought forth God the Son, Jehovah in the flesh. What does
the word Jehovah mean? He who shall become. It comes
from the word, the hayah, the little Hebrew verb, to be verb. The first time the word hayah
is used in the Hebrew Old Testament, it says, Barashith barah elayim
et hashemayim v'et haaretz. And then it says, We are it's
hot. Yeah, tohu waboku and the verse
2 there says and the earth She had become formless and void. She wasn't created that way according
to several places in the Bible That's what the word Jehovah
came from he who shall become Jehovah Jesus fulfilled all the
Jehovah titles in the Old Testament all the Jehovah titles he fulfilled
them all Concerning the world I request
but concerning whom you have given to me because yours they
are Yours they are it means yours. They are and keep on being Once
you've been a child of God, you don't get away. You don't you
can't run off from God Once you've been his just ask Jonah a little
bit about that Okay 10 verse number 10 and the things mine
all Yours it is, and keeps on being, and what's mine, and I have been glorified in
them. In spite of all their shortcomings
at that early church, Jesus and God was glorified in them. Look
how many mistakes Peter made. Boy, if I was a Catholic church,
I would have never picked him out to be the Pope. That was
a mistake, wasn't it? All right, that's his bad choice.
There isn't any Popes, by the way. 1711. And no longer I am in the
world. But these in the world, they
are keep on going to be here. He's praying for us. All right? This church is going
to be in the world. The church was going to be attacked
immediately, wasn't it? The church had to go into hiding
immediately after the death of Jesus. And they were hiding out
like outlaws in a cave. Scared with their doors locked. Because their Messiah King had
been murdered. And they were next. And I, to
you I come, Father Holy. You keep them in the name of
you which you have given to me, in order that they may be one
just as we." All right? That they may be one just as
we. You have to keep them. Jesus
has given the Father a command here, by the way. Did you know
that? He's given a Father. I interrogate you through this.
17 and verse 12, When I kept on being with them, Kept on keeping. That word there
comes from Terrio there. I kept on keeping them. You know
what that means? The word keep there? That's Matthew
28, 8 to 20. It says, teaching them all things
which I have given to you. Teaching them all things to guard
all those things. It means to guard with your life.
Did Jesus guard his disciples with his life? All the time they
were there? He protected them, didn't he?
Okay? I kept on keeping and guarding with my life them in the name
of you, in your authority, in your name. That's onomatopoeia.
Into onomatopoeia. In the name of you, which you
have given me. And I guarded with my life. And
I guarded as a sentinel. This is the word for this means
to lock down. That I had them in safekeeping.
They were like in a locked door. They were in a room. They were
like in a prison. They were guarded in a fortress. And no one of them perishes for
himself. Look at that. He always had to
put down the human will, didn't he? Perishes for himself, middle
boys, except Son of perdition destruction
the word wheels their son that what kind of a word is that wheels?
You remember how many what wheels means? Air was Judas Issa carry
it born of Satan What does it say Yes Paul the Apostle said
he was born of Satan. Did you know that? He said I
was abortion. God aborted me and drug me out
from Satan's hands This one is the son of Satan. Now, did Judas
have a will? Was Judas just locked into damnation? No. But the son of tradition,
in order that the scripture, it might be fulfilled. All right,
the scripture might be fulfilled. Might be fulfilled because God
used that wicked man. That wicked, selfish man. 1713. But now to you I come, and these
things I speak, and the word there, speak again, means with
the human language, Jesus really had a body. He really had a tongue,
a mouth, teeth, and a stomach, and a vocal box, and all of this.
He had all of this. He had lungs, he had eyes, he
had ears, just like you have. Because you're made in his image,
aren't you? Is mankind made in the image of God according to
Genesis 126? If you want to teach the Trinity any place in the
Bible, you go to Genesis 1-26, that teaches the Trinity. I'm
telling you. And I speak in the world in order
that they may have subjunctive mode, the human will, they may
have the joy, my joy, having been fulfilled in themselves.
All the time it talks about, it throws the human will in there.
You know, if you study Greek, And you really
believe Greek? You are going to have a real
hard time being a super left Syrian. That's all I got to say. It would thrash you. I'm a Calvinist. I'm a Calvinist because of what
I believe. You're not Armenian, but I'm not a hyper-Calvinist.
I'm what you call a moderate Calvinist. OK? 1714, I have given to them
the word of you. And the world, it hated them
because not they are out of the world system, just as I am not
out of the world system. Because of who you are as a Christian,
some of your family may not like you. They might not want to be
around you. You know that? Especially if you get to be too
evangelical, okay? Because they're uncomfortable
when they're around you. You know that? They're uncomfortable. Verse 17, not I request in order
that they, you should take them out of the
world. You might take them out of the
world, but in order that You shall keep, or you might keep
them, out of the evil one. Now, does the evil one ever get
involved with us? When was the last time he was
involved with you this morning? Or last night, directly? Alright,
he's always out there, isn't he? 16. And out of the world,
not they are, just as I not am out of the world. Jesus said,
I am no longer a citizen of this world. Matter of fact, he never
was a citizen of this world system. You, when you were born, you
were citizens of the world, weren't you? You had the spirit of disobedience
in you. When you've been born again,
that spirit of disobedience, that spirit in you that energized
you to do all that bad stuff, that is replaced by the Holy
Spirit of God. That's where you're indwelt by
the Spirit of God. That's the indwelling of the
Spirit. What came on the day of Pentecost is not the indwelling
of the Spirit, but the comforter to lead them in all truth. 17.
Please make them holy. But this is in the imperative
mode, he's demanding this. Make them holy in the truth. The word of truth there is aletheia.
Remember what aletheia means? Marilyn? Remember what aletheia
means? Aletheia. Sharon? No shadows. No shadows. No shadows. No dark places. No dark places. You sanctify
them, make them holy in the truth. The word of your truth it is. Eighteen. Just as me you have
sent out with authority. This is the word Apostolos. Again. Apostolos. Second person singular. First aorist indicative active
is what it actually is. He was sent out one time. When
was he sent out? This is knife blade punctiliar
action here. Point time action. As a verb. When did God send Jesus? When
did he do it? This knife blade punctilio action
only once. When did God send him? Nope. In space and time, in the incarnation. When he was germinated in the
womb of Mary. That's this knife blade punctilio
action. You have sent me into the world and I send them with
authority unto the world. Matthew 28, 18-20, remember,
Acts the second chapter. Verse 19, and on behalf of them
I sanctify and set apart myself. In order to that, here's the subjunctive mold,
this is the human will again, that they may also, having been
sanctified in truth, that they may be sanctified in truth. You
have to have an example, don't you? Examples are very important
to us. We can't hardly see anything
beyond the end of our nose, can we, in all reality. You have
to have an example, an example. What do you have an example of
righteousness? The only righteous man that ever lived, don't look
at me, the only righteous man we've ever had is Jesus Christ.
I was listening to myself preached 20 years ago. And I heard myself
on the tape. And my grandmother, my father's
mother, she was, I don't know how to say this
politely, she wasn't real bright. And she didn't remember things
very well. And she was that way all of her life. It didn't get
that way when she got old. Okay, I loved her tremendously and
she loved me she came and hear me preach, but I tell you what
she just couldn't get it together I mean theologic that woman didn't
have it together. She was saved. I really believe
that But boy was she confused she had a girlfriend. Yeah, the
young lady you got a girlfriend you have a girlfriend No, you
don't have any girlfriends. No friends girlfriends that you've
had all your life Have you got a little friend a companion that
you've had all your life? from the time you were little,
my grandmother did, and this woman became a preacher. That's
the number one problem, isn't it? Okay. She became a preacher. But her whole deal, as she was
going around Bakersfield and she was baptizing all these people
in bathtubs, or swimming pools, wherever she could do it, and
when she baptized people, you know what happened, Dr. John?
You'd be real interested in this. They would never die. They would
never taste death. Because when she baptized them,
they would never sin again. Because she hadn't sinned for
50 years. Now, I don't believe that, of course. My grandmother
wanted me to have a debate and a conversation with this woman.
I said, Grandma, I just have no interest in this at all. Well,
I want to see which one of you is right. I said, I'm right.
I said, she's going to die. I said, all the odds are on my
side. She was 78 years old. She's going
to die pretty soon. That's toward the end. That's
telios. That's near the end. It's getting
close. Well, anyway, she called me up
on the phone one day. And she said, Jimmy, can you
come over and have lunch with me? And I said, Grandma, I'm really
busy. But I love you. And I'll be there. So I have
a real good lunch cooked for you, Jimmy. So I came over there.
And you know what? The woman was there. The woman was there. And I look
at this. And when I walk in, I said, oh,
no. This isn't going to do me one bit of good and do her one
bit of good or anybody any good. This isn't going to work. I was
going to the seminary at that time, and I was taking out a
whole day of my life, and I should be doing 40 other things, to
come over here to visit with my grandma, but she had set me
up. Here this woman, she comes in,
and she said, I hear you don't believe me. And I said, well,
you don't believe the word of God. Is this your problem? The
Bible says it's pointed on man wants to die, but not me. No,
not me. Not anybody that I baptized.
I said, you mean to tell me you're going to nullify the Word of
God because what revelation you have? Yes. I got a new revelation. I said, well, I don't have one.
I got the Bible. Well, we went on for about an hour and a half
like that, and I just didn't have a good time at all. I was
defending God's Word, and she was telling me it was wrong.
And she's a preacher. Well, we went on, and about A
week and a half later, after I left, my grandmother calls
me on the phone, and she's in tears. She said, Jimmy, you hurt
my friend's face so bad that she died the other day by heart
attack and a stroke. And I said, it wasn't my fault.
That's God's fault. It's the point when a man wants
to die. Yeah, but she didn't believe that. I said, I don't
care what you believed. I don't care what you believe. There
are people dying every day, killing people, what we call jihadists.
They go out there and put bombs all over them and blow themselves
up because they believe Mohammed promised them 72 virgins and that they would be an intercessor,
intercessor for 70 people of their family. They could get
them into heaven and they could forgive their sins. Every time
they say the name Muhammad, they say what behind that? Peace be
upon him. That is a prayer asking Muhammad
to be their intercessor. We have one intercessor between
man and God, and that is the man Christ Jesus in this chapter
of the Bible right here, and there is none other, nor there
will ever be any other. That's it. It's over. That's
the Word of God. I believe it. And it don't matter
whether I believe it or not, it's true. My grandma told me,
you hurt her faith. I said, I didn't hurt her faith
one bit. She said, she died. I said, she's going to die before
I, if I'd have never been there, she'd have died. But you hurt
her faith. I said, she had faith in a false
religion and a false deal. And I said, she's propagating
this. I said, not only that, but every person she baptized
is going to die. Well, now they are because she
died. No, I said because the Bible says it is appointed man
to man who wants to die and at that judgment I said now she
doesn't believe what she believed anymore. You really think that
I said no, she don't believe that And she's sorry. I said if she went to heaven
if she went to heaven Well, all she believes she was a religion.
I said if she believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior and him
only No, holy roller baloney with that. I I said, yeah, she
went to heaven if she believed. But if she didn't, she's not
there. You don't think she went to hell? I said, I don't know
whether she went to hell or not. I said, don't ask me that question. We
already had this other controversy. I couldn't look in the woman's
heart. I said, her problem is she didn't believe the Bible.
And she had her own opinions. I said, I don't know how far
she went with that when it comes to salvation. 20. This is the Bible. Not concerning
these, but I request only, but also concerning the ones believing
through the word of them in me. And that's you. That's you. Today. Did you know that's you?
Young lady, that's who he's talking about right here, you. He's talking about Linda. Talking
about Isaiah, Roger, Montana. All of us, he's talking about
us. Through the agency, through the agency of the preaching
and conversion, the preaching of God's Word, people are going
to live and Jesus is still our intercessor. Not Muhammad, not
all these jihadists, not the Pope, not Mary, not Buddha, no
one. There's only one man that's the
intercessor. 1721 I don't care how many times they
say peace be upon him. He's not going to be their intercessor.
It's not going to happen In order that all all the one
They may be just as you All of these may be just as you and
what does a subjunctive Mosier means the human will? Father in me and I in you, and
also they in us, they may be, always the human will is involved. They may. It depends upon their
volition. In order that the world, it may
believe. That's you. You in space and
time became a believer. Because you and me, you have
sinned. 1722, and I the glory which you have
given to me, I have given to them in order that they may be
one just as we are one. How many gods are there? One. Here, O Israel, the Lord our
God is one. We don't believe in three gods, people. A lot
of Christians, so-called Christians, believe in three gods. They've
got a misunderstanding of God. There's only one God. There's
only one you, but you're triune, aren't you? You have a spirit,
you have a soul, and you have a body. And all of those are
separate, but they're one entity. And that's the way God is, Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And I in them, and you in me,
in order that they may be, may be, what does that mean? The
human will, that they may become having been matured unto one
in order that he may know the world that you
me you have sent and you have loved them just as me you have
loved God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son
who believed in him shall not perish but have everlasting life
that's it that's a repeat of it again John just keeps repeating
himself over and over again 1724 father what I have given what
you have given to me I wish in order that where I am I also
those ones, they may be with me in order that they may behold."
See that? They may behold. All subjunctive
mold, the human will. The glory, mine which you have
given to me because you have loved me before the foundation
of the world, before the laying down of the foundation, before
any physical start of the foundation of the world. before the blueprints
all right 1725 father righteous father while the world you not
it has known look at that word that Chi there if you look that
up later on you're gonna find out another use for word Chi
page 208 and analytical Greek lexicon right here Chi means
yes also our while not just a conjunction While the world, or yes, the
world, you, it has known, not you it has known, but I, you,
I knew, and these ones, they knew that you, me, you did send
out. And the last verse in this chapter.
And I have made known to them the name of you. And I shall
make known in order that The love which you loved me, in them
it may become an eye in them. Look at that. Every time it talks
about humans, it talks about what? The human will, volition. All right. Thank you for your
attention today. I hope God's word meant something
to you. Did you get something out of that, Montana? All right. I hope so. Yes. OK.
