Removal of the Curse

In this the conclusion of Daniel's prayer there is an earnest plea for the removal of God's curse from his people--a petition for forgiveness and restoration to divine favor. This sermon seeks to raise the hearer's field of view from the dreadful temporal curse which rested upon the Jews to the plane of the divine curse which rests upon the whole race of man, and the way in which it can be and has been removed; namely how God laid his curse on his sinless, only begotten Son incarnate.
