Who is His Seed?
Series Jesus in the Psalms & Isaiah
What did the Substitution of Christ accomplish? First, He accomplished an acceptable "offering for sin". This we looked at last time. Secondly, by that offering, He accomplished, saving His "seed". Who is "His seed"? In verse 8, they are called "my people". In verse 11, they are called "many". These descriptions are repeated in the New Testament, Matthew 1:21 and by Jesus in Matthew 20:28 and 26:28.
