All right. Well, we want to thank
you for coming and welcome you to the Bethel Baptist kindergarten
graduation for 2024. Who would have thought we'd be
here already? But we thank you all for being
here. A lot of work has gone into it. And I know you'll enjoy
all that the kids have prepared for this evening. So without
delay, we're going to go ahead and turn it over and and let
our kindergartners go ahead and come on in. All righty, good evening parents,
grandparents, siblings, and previous Bethel Baptist Schools kindergarten
alumni. I want to thank you for joining
us tonight for both our kindergarten program and graduation to follow. Before I have us all stand for
the pledges, K-5, can we show our parents how we've learned
to open in prayer this year? All righty, we're going to start
by having our hands up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up into the air.
As we clap our hands together, we're going to bring them down
past our eyes. As they come down past our eyes, our eyes are closed.
As they come down past our head, our heads are bowed. Dear God,
we thank you for this evening. We thank you for these students.
Thank you for all the teachers that have been so supportive
to us. all the older students that helped us many days to practice
this program, so we could do the best job for you, Lord. I
ask that you be with each and every one of these kids as they
go on to first grade, wherever they may be going to school in
the future. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. And at this time, if you
will, stand for the pledges. When I started kindergarten,
I wanted to learn to say the Pledge of Allegiance. Attention,
salute, pledge. I pledge allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America, and to the republic for which
it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty
and justice for all. At Target Kindergarten, I wanted
to learn the Christian Pledge. Attention! Salute! Pledge! I pledge allegiance to the Christian
flag, and to the Savior, for whose kingdom it stands. One
Savior, crucified, risen and coming again, with life and living
for all who believe. When I started kindergarten,
I wanted to learn to say the Bible pledge. Attention, salute,
pledge. I pledge allegiance to the Bible,
God's holy word. I'll make it a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path. I'll hide its words into my heart
so I may not sin against God. At this time, you may be seated. When I started kindergarten,
I want to learn God's word. Acts 16, third one. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
and thou shalt be saved. Acts 16, third one. When I started kindergarten,
I wanted to memorize God's scriptures. John 3, 16, 17. For God so loved
the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever
believeth in him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.
For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through him might be saved. John 3, 16, 17. When I started kindergarten,
I wanted to learn to sing praises to God. Three, two, one. A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Jesus died for you and me. H, I, J, K, L, M, N. Jesus died for simple men. Amen! O, P, Q, R, S, T, U. I believe God's word is true,
U-V-W, God has promised you, X-Y-Z, a home eternally. Three, two, one. God has, God
and Mal, I'm happy and glad and free. God has blotted them out. I'll turn to Isaiah and see. Chapter 44, 22 and 3. He has blotted them out. And now I can't shout, for that
means me. 3, 2, 1. The B-I-B-L-E, yes, that's the
book for me. I sing along on the word of God,
the B-I-B-L-E. When I started kindergarten,
I wanted to learn to write my name. When I start a kindergarten,

applause for their performance tonight? All righty, we will see you soon
for the cap and gown ceremony. Please enjoy this slideshow highlighting
some of our adventures this school year. you you you you Yeah. Hello. The kids will be here
soon, but I want to open our ceremony tonight with a few simple
words from me that encapsulate the wealth of this school year.
If you have your Bibles, you may open up to Matthew 13, 31
through 32 with me. If not, enjoy listening. Matthew 13 31 through 32 is a
parable or a story told by Jesus another parable put he forth
unto them saying the kingdom of heaven is like to a Grain
of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field which
indeed is the least of all seeds But when it is grown it is the
greatest among the herbs and becometh a tree So that the birds
of the air come and lodge in its branches thereof So, like
the mustard seed, your children may seem small to you now, but
just like the mustard seed from this parable, when planted in
the fields of God's word, they will grow beyond measure. It
is my prayer that they have hidden God's word deep into their hearts
so that they may carry the word with them wherever they may go,
and so the word may carry them through future trials that are
much bigger than kindergarten graduation. And let me see, I
think I see some heads coming. But with that being said, I would
like to introduce the kindergarten class of 2024. Abel Tyler Cannon. Grayson Cole Gatewood. Amelia Grace Legg. Damian Keith Myers. Elliot Cameron Nath. Abigail Marie Nicholson. Lily Jordan Oaks. Carson James Russell. Luke Anthony Stone. Zachary Reese Tapscott. And Hannah Rose White. All right, y'all wanna stand
up real quick? Folks, I'd like to introduce
to you the future class, I believe we calculated it correctly, of
2036. Y'all may toss your hats. Woo! All right, I think there's a
couple more awards. Y'all have a seat real quick. We'll pick the hats
up in a moment. But we have a couple of extra
awards that need to be given before we close out tonight and
let y'all come and get pictures with them and all this evening.
But I'm gonna go ahead and hand it over to my wife and let her
announce these awards. All right at the end of each
year we hand out a perfect attendance award if anybody has perfect
attendance and then each class somebody in the class receives
a Christian character award and this is the first year since
we've been here we've actually handed out perfect attendance
this year but I have a perfect attendance award for Abigail
Nicholson. Would you come here Abigail? And then this year's Kindergarten
Christian Character Award goes to Grayson Gatewood. Alrighty, well. We appreciate
y'all being here and having a chance to see the hard work and put
on display, but also a chance to watch these young people complete
kindergarten. Looking forward to going, if
you can look forward to going into first grade, they're looking
forward to going into first grade. And with all of that, we wanna say
especially thank you for allowing us to invest in their lives. And we wanna thank their teacher
especially and she has placed a lot of a lot of time in and
Working with the children does an excellent job. We appreciate
miss Alex and and with that we want to let you know as well
before we pray and we'll dismiss but Parents when it comes to
what they have on the robes and the hats need to stay but the
tassel and the, what do y'all call that, the stole, okay, the
tassel and the stole, y'all can take with you, but I encourage
you, you might want to get pictures with them before they take the
robe off, and also, if you wanna get the hat, put it back on,
whatever, and get some pictures with them, y'all feel free to
do that. We'll just collect the hats and
the gowns before you were to leave, and the rest of it you
can take with you. Again, we thank you for being here, and
can y'all give them one more hand? I think they did a great
job. All righty. Why don't you go
ahead and stand with me real quick? We're going to pray. And then
we'll be dismissed and let you get those photographs with the
kids. And again, thank you for being here. We do greatly appreciate
it. Let's pray together. Heavenly
Father, we thank you so much for these young people, for their
hard work. Lord, for the chance to witness
them pass from kindergarten looking into first grade. Lord, as they
move forward with their lives, I pray that all that they've
learned this year, especially what they've learned about you,
would not be forgotten. And Lord, would you help them
as they go forward to honor and please the Lord with all that
they do in their lives. I pray for the parents, I pray
for the grandparents, for all those that'll be investing in
them. Give them wisdom. Lord, give them the guidance
they need to raise these young people in the nurture and admonition
of the Lord as your word commands that we ought to. Again, we thank
you for this night. I pray that you would help us as we go from
this place. Watch over each and every one
of us. We ask it all in Christ's name. Amen. Amen. You are dismissed. And if y'all
want to, you can grab your hats there.
