Well, I appreciate the opportunity to sing for the Lord. You know, if we can utter our voice, we need to do all we can with it to praise the Lord. Well, if you would tonight, turn your Bibles to the book of Philippians chapter 2. Philippians chapter 2 verses 9 through 11. We'll read through those three verses there and we'll have the message Philippians 2 verses 9 through 11. And verse 9 reads this way. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him. Now we need to make sure we're all on the same page. Him here is Jesus. Right? That's what we're speaking about. We've read the rest of the chapter. We would know that, but we know that anyway, but we'll make sure everybody understands we're talking about Jesus right from the start. There's a lot of important people. that has lived throughout time, that has recorded how great they are, all the great feasts that they've done. There's many people in the Word of God that's recorded all the great things they have done. But they're not as great as Jesus. They do not compare to Jesus. And their name does not compare to Jesus. And we should not honor their name like they compare to Jesus. No man compares to Jesus. And in verse 10, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow. Now, you could, the rest of this verse, the rest of verse 10 is, I'm going to read some more, and it's not going to add one more knee, okay? But God puts it in there so nobody tried to take a knee away. And that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. That's all there is. That's all there is. There's here, above us, and below us. That's all there is. Every knee should bow. And verse 11, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. No one's going to escape that. I don't know how much they'll want to say it, but they're going to say it. Now if they're saved, they're going to want to say it. If there are angels in heaven today, they're going to want to say it. But Satan and the angels in hell and the demons that are on this earth, I don't know if they're going to want to say it or not, but they're going to say it. They're not going to have a choice. They had a choice one time, and they wasted it. They threw it away. Well, tonight's message is titled, That's Him. One day, we're all going to say, that's Him. We're going to see Him as He is. That's who I've been waiting on. That's who saved me. That's who took my sins away. And that is Jesus, the Son, the only begotten Son of God. And He is the one who died on the cross for me. That's Him. And every tongue shall confess that. Nobody will deny it. Nobody will have a cross word to say about it. Nobody is going to disagree with you then. Everybody is going to have to admit that that is Him. Romans 1 and 20 says, For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power in Godhead, so that they are without excuse. In other words, we can look at creation and see that something had to create it. It was not an accident. It didn't accidentally just blow up one day. And people said, I just don't know how you can believe in a God. Do you believe what they teach in school? Do you believe that something about that big right there just blew up one day and all this came out of it? That's much harder to believe. There's no proof whatsoever in that theory. That's the reason it's called a theory. There is no proof in the theory of evolution. There's no proof in the Big Bang theory. None. Now they can say, well we think this because, but they can't give you the first item of proof. None whatsoever. All those today that believe in the Big Bang Theory, all those that believe in evolution, they're going to confess one day. They're going to have to say, if asked, I was wrong. They're going to know they were wrong, but they will confess Jesus Christ. So, we talked about how many knees should bow. Things on the earth, things under the earth, things above the earth. So let's see who's going to bow. First of all, Satan and his angels will confess. That's him. Isaiah 14 and 12 tells us a little about Satan. So we need to understand the Old Testament. There's so much information in the Old Testament that tells us what the New Testament is talking about. You can know a little bit about the Word of God by the New Testament. And I mean, it's easier to follow. It's easier to understand than the Old Testament. But you can't understand all the New Testament if you don't know the Old Testament. Because we don't have very much of this in the New Testament. Isaiah 14, 12, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations? For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the Most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms? So he was in heaven with God. He was an angel, but he decided he wanted to be like God. He thought he could be God. And that was his downfall. His pride was his downfall. And of course, he was cast out of heaven, not into hell yet. Some of the angels are in hell. If you study your Bible, you'll see that he is not in hell now, but he is on this earth tormenting us and tempting us. But I believe that each one of them, I know that each one of those will confess Jesus Christ on that day. I believe that through all eternity and on the day that they confess Christ, One of the things that's really going to condemn them to themselves is remembering where they fell. Remembering that they were in heaven. Remembering that there were angels with them that didn't follow Satan. And they're still in heaven. They could be right there with them. There's angels in hell right now that realize immediately what happened when God cast them down there. They knew they made a mistake immediately. And they're going to remember it for all eternity. That's right. You know, sometimes we miss out on some things here on earth. Say, man, if I'd just been five minutes sooner, right? Miss out on some deals, buying something or something like that. Well, man, having something that heavy on your conscience for all eternity, I was already there. That's good. They didn't have faith that there was a God. They were already with God. But they put their faith in Satan. They had God and chose Satan. God didn't make good angels and bad angels. He made all good angels. He made Satan good. But he got pride. And he was cast out with a third of the angels. Not only where they fell from but where they could have been right now. Where they could have always been there. For all these thousands of years they could have always been in heaven. Or maybe on earth. Helping us. But they would not have ever had to face hell or the possibility of hell. Right now there are angels which are now demons that are having to face the fact that they will never get to be in heaven. They're never even going to be able to enjoy earth. They're always for all eternity going to be in a place called hell in the lake of fire. So in the end time Satan and all his angels will be in the lake of fire. Now, I believe we could deduce from verse 16. It doesn't say this specifically. I believe that the angels will turn on Satan. Verse 16 says, they that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee and consider thee. saying, is this the man that made the earth to tremble and did shake kingdoms? They're the ones who will be in hell with him. They're the ones who will be in a lake of fire with him. Could you imagine being in a place like that and the one that caused it is there with you? You just think about man, how mean, how evil he can be when he gets vengeance in his heart. And he wants that revenge. He wants to try to do something. Satan is going to live for all eternity with the hate of the angels against him. But not only are the Satan and his angels going to bow a knee, all the lost will bow their knee and confess his name. Every one of them. Every one of them. Every one since Adam and Eve were created. Now, the Bible tells us, I believe that they are saved, they're in heaven, but that was the beginning of man, and everybody that did not receive Christ, everybody that did not believe God, everybody like Cain originally did, and did not believe what God said, and went against what God said, they're all, one day, going to confess Christ. A lot of people, I know, I almost assuredly know some that you have heard deny Jesus Christ. For one reason or another, they denied Him. You probably know somebody that has denied Him as they were dying, or on their deathbed, or you know, the last time you knew anything about Him, they denied Christ and they died. But one day they will deny Him no longer. One day they will not deny Jesus Christ, but it will be too late for them They're not in purgatory, they're in hell, but one day they will confess Jesus Christ. And they're lost because of many reasons. Of course, we know they rejected Christ, but they rejected Christ for many reasons. One, there's those that's under false doctrine. It's sort of like Satan leading the angels around. He told them he could be God. There's men today, preaching a false doctrine, a false religion, and tell them, if you do this, you'll go to heaven. But it's not what the Bible says about going to heaven. And there's false doctrines, and they believe that, and they believe strongly in that. There are millions of people, billions of people today that believe in a false doctrine, and they think they're going to heaven. And they may even today confess Christ, but they don't know Christ. And then there's those under a false profession. There's many reasons people give false professions. They don't understand it maybe. But sometimes there's other reasons. Sometimes they're just really not serious. Well, that's what everybody else is doing. I guess I'll do it. I guess it's my time to do it. But you've got to believe it. See, it's not praying it. It's believing the prayer. It's believing what you're saying. It's believing that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, that He lived a perfect life, that He died, shed His blood on the cross as payment for our sins, and He rose again on the third day. It's believing that and trusting in that fact that He paid for our sins that we go to heaven. It's not saying a prayer. I don't care if it's a written prayer or a prayer you make up, just because you say it doesn't mean anything. Johnny, I'm going to give you a million dollars after church. I don't mean much, brother, because I ain't got a million dollars. Just saying it doesn't mean anything. Eddie, don't get mad, I don't have it anyway. And there's some, and I've seen it, I have seen parents to tell their children, you need to go to the altar and get saved. That's awful. You are almost assuredly condemning somebody to hell when you do that. You can't tell somebody, you've got to go, you better go. You can tell them what the Bible says, but if you're an authority over them, you can't force them down. But parents do it, people do it. You can't do that. Now if a child comes forth on their own, they don't understand and make profession, and it's not real, that's one thing. But when you make them do it, they'll hold to that. I've had people tell me, I did what mama said, I did what grandpa said. But did you do what the Bible said? I've known people who said, I went up because so and so went up. And when they said, the preacher asked them questions, talked to them, they said yes, I said yes. That's nothing. That is absolutely nothing. You know, we can go through life and we can follow people and do what they do. And maybe get in trouble, may not get in trouble. But you can't follow somebody doing that. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. But there are many people that has done that. I got saved because so and so got saved. You can't do it for that reason. It has to be a true belief and trust in Jesus Christ. And then there's people that make a profession and they know it's not real. It's a false pretense. They have some reason. Maybe they're trying to impress a relative. To get a relative off their back or something like that. false pretense I've seen people do it for business reasons I've seen people come into churches and they'll be there two or three years and they've got a business and they'll try to make contacts in the church and try to establish business with them and make money off of them and when they see they can't get anybody else interested they'll go to the next church but they've made a profession or they say they have but they're not going to make the heaven not for that reason There's people that make professions for marriage. Many young men have made professions. Say, I'm saved now. Can I date your daughter? You better watch that stuff. You better watch that stuff. Can't just change overnight. You can't change overnight. God will change you overnight. But you better watch them. Then there's those that say there is no God. I said, I'm not going to offer anything, there's no such thing as a God. They'll live their whole life being taught there's no God, believing there's no God, and dying believing there's no God. But when they wake up in hell, they'll believe there's a God. And one day they'll confess Jesus Christ. And then there's those that deny the Word of God. They believe there's a God, but they don't believe this Bible right here. They may even say they believe in Jesus, but they don't believe the Word of God. They come up with some other way to get to heaven. Today, most of the world that believes there was a Jesus Christ believes you can get there anyway, or believe that He's just so nice He's going to let you in. But He said you have to trust in Him and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. It's not that He died on the cross and your sins are paid for. They are. But you must trust in Him and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. It's not an automatic deal. And then Revelation tells us about some angels and beasts that are going to do that. Revelation 4. and six through eight. And before the throne there was a sea of glass likened to crystal, and in the midst of the throne and round about the throne were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a cat, and the third beast had the face of a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within, and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Before Adam was created, these beasts were saying that, and they're still saying it today, and they'll be saying it for all eternity. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was and is and is to come. Over and over again. They're just praising God. They were created to praise God. Revelation 5, 11-13, And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the beast, and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand. That's a hundred million. and thousands and thousands. In other words, an uncountable number. Saying with a loud voice, worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven and on earth and under the earth When God tells us something and He really wants us to understand it, He'll put it in this book and He'll put it in this book and He'll put it in another book. So we'll get it because we're hard-headed. And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea and all that are in them heard I saying, Blessing and honor and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb forever. and ever. That's what John heard when he, in his revelation, when he saw that in heaven. And that's what we're going to be able to do. We're going to be able to take part in that praising Jesus. And then, in those that will praise Jesus and confess Him are the saints. You know, I hope, I don't know how to say it, we are saints, but we don't really feel worthy to be called saints, right? But I think it's partly because some religions have elevated certain people to be saints, that they are above others. But we're not above others. We're saints because we're saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. That's all it is. It's not what we've done. It's not an achievement. It's not a lifetime achievement to be called a saint. It is a lifetime achievement of Jesus Christ because he reached down and saved your soul and allows you to be called a saint. Revelation 4, 9, And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth forever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. That's the reason we want to earn a crown. We're not going to walk around heaven in our crown. I know there's a song that says that. But that's not biblical. We have a crown for one reason. So that we will have something to give back to Jesus. And where do we get the crown from Him to start with? It's all Him. It's not us. But for what He has done for us, we should have a desire that in His eyes we will earn that crown. We're not worthy of it. But He says this is how you earn it. And that is to tell others about Christ, to live for Him, live Godly, live righteously, to earn those crowns. That's how the 4 and 20 elders, the 4 and 20 elders didn't get them because they were the 4 and 20 elders. They got them because they lived righteously. And we'll have one also. So, why are they going to praise Him? Why are they going to confess Him? Because of salvation. Because they know that one day they were on their way to hell. And they realized that one day, and they realized the only way to escape hell was to confess Jesus Christ and ask him to forgive them for their sins. And they did it through the blood. If anybody ever tells you that the blood is not necessary for salvation, cut them off. If you ever hear the words come out of their mouth, just cut them off. That's against the word of God. And I notice people say some things sometimes and say, I don't really sound right. But I can't take chapter and verse and prove them wrong. But I can prove them wrong on that. If they say it doesn't take the blood, they're wrong. And if they're not depending on the blood, they're not going to make heaven. I would say through the blood and by the word. By the word, that's how we knew we were lost. You don't know you're lost if you don't have the word of God. If God doesn't reveal to you that you're lost, you cannot get saved. A lot of people, they go through life. So, I'm going to get saved at this certain time. When I do this and do this, have all this accomplished, or after that happens, and then I'm going to get saved. Now, if God's not convicting you, you're not. If you can't do it when he's calling you, you're not going to do it when he ain't calling you. And then they're going to praise him because of his righteousness. Not our righteousness. We don't have any righteousness. The only righteousness we have is the Holy Spirit living in us. It's the only thing righteous about us whatsoever. I don't care how many good works we do. We all do good works. You don't earn righteousness. It is bestowed upon you. Because God is the only righteous one. The only place to get righteousness is from God. And then because of His power. You know, we know God is powerful, and we believe God is powerful, but we have to admit, there's times we doubt that power. I hope you're not saying, well, I never doubted. Well, you're human, so you do. Right? But one day, We're going to understand that power fully. You're not capable of understanding the power of God. Not all of it. We can understand what He allows us to or what our minds are able to but we can't comprehend anything that great. We only understand a small part of the power of God. But one day, we're going to see Him. We're going to see Him in heaven when He calls us home or when He takes us out in the rapture. We're going to see Him. And we're going to take part when every knee bows. We'll be there to take part in it. You know, we will go through this life looking forward to that day. And the Bible tells us about a lot of people that were looking for Jesus, looking for the day that they were going to go into heaven. Adam talked with Him in the garden. Enoch walked with him. Noah sailed with him. Abraham searched for a city made by him. Moses saw him in the burning bush. Joshua and his family served him. David was after his own heart. Elijah rode a whirlwind up to meet him. Three Hebrews went through the fire with him. Daniel went in the lines then with him. John the Baptist prepared the way for him. Peter walked on water with him. John revealed him to the world. Grandpa told me about Him and the Holy Spirit revealed Him to me. He said, Grandpa give me the Word of God. And the Holy Spirit took that Word and struck me in the heart and convicted my soul and I asked Jesus to save me. And He is in me and I shall be like Him and I will see Him as He is and I will say, That's him. Yes, sir. Amen. As soon as you come play for us, you got something to pray about tonight, come pray. If you're here tonight, never see Christ as Savior, just stand to your feet, please. You come forward and let somebody know you need to be saved. Have people up here take the Word of God. That's what it takes to get saved. Make sure you understand the word of God so you can make sure you're on your way to heaven. Just follow the leadership of the Lord. You need to come to the altar. Go ahead and come. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. We're going to hear that one day. Can you imagine the sound of every tongue confessing? Every knee should bow. Things in heaven, things in earth, things under the earth. Every knee and every tongue. Still got some praying. Lord, we thank you for this night that you've given us, Lord. We thank you for the message, Lord. Thank you for the Word of God, Lord. That's the only place we can get our message. That's the only place we can hear from you, Lord, is through the Word of God, Lord. We need to know the Word of God so that when the Holy Spirit is speaking to us, we can recognize you, Lord, and know that you speak. And we thank you so much for dying on the cross for our sins. And what we're looking forward to that day, we stand in front of you and we can all say, that's Him. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
