The Mother of Rufus

Even though Mother's Day is designated to recognize mothers, we need to consider what it means to honor God as a mother. And so we must keep in mind that even on a day like today, we must focus on Jesus Christ being obviously present and actively in charge. So in our sermon today, Dr. Gilmore looks at the mother of Rufus. Who is that? Although she is only mentioned in one verse in the Bible, much can be found out about her. And we look at her today because she is a shining example of what it means to be a godly mother.
