What Happened At The Tomb?

Everything concerning Christianity stands/falls on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our faith and trust in His death, burial and resurrection and by His grace is where we find eternal life. Who were the two sets of guards? Who was the first to the tomb? Who was the first to see the resurrected Jesus? Who was the first to believe in Jesus' resurrection? The women (including John) were the ones who stayed at Calvary til the end. The women were the first ones to come to the tomb. Why didn't Mary initially recognize the resurrected Jesus? Why do we not see our help? Are we looking in the wrong direction?
