Now here is our teacher and pastor, Dr. Andy Bloom. Yesterday in our study of Nahum chapter 3, we finished verses 16 and 17. So listen as we start chapter 3, verses 18 and 19 today. Well, today we'll start the final two verses of chapter three of Nahum and finish out this little book of dynamite. I tell you what, a lot of prophetic images in this very book and we have been covering those things. He is a sergeant and public information officer with the County Sheriff's Department here in Ocala, Florida. Besides being the public information officer, he is also one who teaches a lot of classes to senior citizens and to parents. One of the things that he teaches is about the problems of the internet on children and teenagers, as well as adults. And we had him do what you might say was the PG rated presentation. And I say PG rating because he could not in a church really. say what is completely on so many of these sites, but just watching what he presents would just utterly shock you. This, instead of watching it, or listening to it, should I say, on audio, I think that you'll want to watch the video portion of it, as he puts up the various things that are there that you can see that go on. And your children, children in elementary school, are looking at these things, and it's terrible, it's vile, and he's going to show you those things there. He had a 52-minute presentation in our church on a Sunday night. And we had, within just a few days, we had well over a thousand views of it, and that's without advertising it. So I would encourage you to go there and check it out, because it is an outstanding presentation. And Paul is not a preacher, he's a sheriff's department worker, and that's good, because he's can give me my protection, okay? It's good to have your oldest son protect you, okay, when he's a deputy sheriff. And so he is that, and his son is a deputy sheriff as well. Now, moving right along from that, I also want to look at this upcoming National Sword of the Lord Conference at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, North Carolina. That's in the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina, and this year the National Sword of the Lord Conference is July 20th through the 23rd. Now, I want to read you just a list of the speakers that will be there. Of course, Dr. Shelton Smith, he's been the editor for the last 25 years of this great paper. And by the way, let me encourage you, if you do not receive this paper, to go on their website and order it. It's really inexpensive for 26 copies a year. It has news that you may not be aware of that's going on in the country as well as around the world. It has sermons from past preachers out of the past, great sermons, as well as present day preachers, things that are right down the line, true to the Word of God. And you won't want to miss receiving that paper. We look forward to getting ours here and many of our people in our church do as well. But Dr. Smith will be preaching, but not only he, Matt Morrison, We have Frank Shoemate will be preaching there, and then in addition to that, Mike Allison, Joe Arthur, Norris Belcher, Dan Carr, Richard Harper, John Hamblin, Jason Godfrey. Jeff Fugate, John Jenkins, Dennis Leatherman, Lou Rossi, and Mike Wells. In addition to that, there are many workshops that are there that are just outstanding. Some are at 9 o'clock in the morning, and then that's followed at 10 o'clock with two preaching services, and then we break for lunch. There are even 1 to 3 o'clock things that go on there that are workshops, great. And then there's a break until 7 o'clock at night, then we have two more preachers, and boy, it is great. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Thursday night at 7 o'clock. Then at Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings at 9 o'clock with the workshops, 10 o'clock with the preaching. There are many places where you can get introduced to the motels of that area. You can go to the Sword of the Lord website, or you can just check it out. It mentions Sword of the Lord, and I believe there is a rate they'll give you because you're going through the Sword of the Lord on that. So I would encourage you to make that a part of your summer vacation schedule. It's really a good thing to do. We look forward to it each year, my wife and I, and we have others take their families up there, others just go up there with their husband and wife, but it is well worth it. So let me encourage you to be a part of the Sword of the Lord Conference this year. It will be outstanding, being that we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Dr. Shelton Smith at the Sword of the Lord, so don't miss out on that. Now finally, as many of you know, I'm going to go to Israel, November the 30th through December the 8th, and it is a great trip. I always appreciate that trip, and a lot of our people do as well. But we're in Nahum 3, verses 18 and 19, to finish out this chapter over the next week or two. And we'll be following this up with a between-the-books-of-the-Bible study. Now, I usually do a doctrinal study, and the next study is going to be on eschatology. You say, what is eschatology? Well, that is the study of last things. I hope that you'll be ready when we get this done to follow us as we go into the study of eschatology or the doctrine of last things, and we look at the rapture and so many other things. Don't miss out on it. Now, in Nahum chapter 3, verses 18 and 19 of our King James Bible, we read this, Thy shepherds slumber, O King of Assyria, Thy nobles shall dwell in the dust. Thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathers them. There is no healing of thy brood. Thy wound is grievous. All that hear the fruit of thee shall clap the hands over thee. For upon whom hath not any wickedness pass continually. Well, those two verses are strong verses here as we read them. And what we see here is God's judgment on a country that had ample warning, very ample warnings. Matter of fact, 150 years earlier, Nineveh had repented, had the preaching of Jonah. who frankly didn't want to go there to preach, but God sent him and it was either stay and live inside the fish until he's dead or be vomited out and go and do what God said and he chose the latter. All right, and he did what God told him to do. So that's where we are. And now in verses 17 and 18, the first part of verse 18, we saw the failure of leadership.
