Father, we thank Thee that as
we bow before our God, we can worship Thee in spirit
and in truth. Above all, for our Savior, Thy
Son, Jesus the Christ. For the Holy Spirit, the person
of the Holy Spirit, who shall not speak of himself,
but shall glorify Christ. And so we glorify Christ in our
worship tonight and in gratitude to thee. Come, our God, and through
the word of God, anointed by the Holy Spirit, speak to our
hearts. In Jesus Christ's name, and for
His sake and glory only. We all ask these things of Thee,
our Father in heaven. Amen. 2 Kings 22, verse 1. Josiah was eight years old. Was eight years old when he began
to reign. And he reigned, he reigned 30
and one years in Jerusalem. That's two. And he did that which
was right. He did that which was right in
the sight of the Lord and walked in all the way of David, his
father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left. Now, beloved, this remarkable
and noble tribute, recorded in God's sacred word, was given
of young King Josiah, who reigned over the southern kingdom of
Judah from 640 to 609 BC. Undoubtedly, undoubtedly under
the guardianship of Judah's elders during his youth. Second Chronicles, 34 verse 3
to 7 records that he began to seek the Lord He began to seek
the Lord at the age of 16 During his eighth year on the
throne And at the age of 20 At the age
of 20, he courageously and uncompromisingly stood against all the evils of
the land, which the nation had embraced during the decadent
reigns of his grandfather and father, King Manasseh and King
Amon, who, 2 Chronicles 33 verse 9 records, who made Judah and the inhabitants
of Jerusalem to err and to do worse than the heathen. Worse than the heathen! Then, in 622 BC, at the age of
26, Desire authorized and commissioned
Hilkiah, the high priest, to oversee the repairing and the restoration
of the temple of God in Jerusalem. The repairing and the restoration
of the temple of God in Jerusalem. And it was then that Hilkiah, the high priest,
discovered something that brought the nation to a standstill. That brought the nation to a
standstill. 2 Kings 22 verse 8, and Hilkiah,
the high priest, said unto Shaphan, the scribe, I have found the
book. I have found the book of the
law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to
Shaphan, and he read it. He read it. Verse 10, And Shaphan the scribe showed
the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath
delivered me a book, and Chaffin read it before the
king. And it came to pass, it came
to pass when the king had heard the words of the book of the
law, that he rent his clothes he rent his clothes, that is,
he tore his garments. Verse 19 records that he rent
his clothes and wept before God, and wept before God. Chapter 23, verse 1, and the
king sent, the king sent And they gathered unto him, they
gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem. The king went up into the house
of the Lord. And all the men of Judah, and
all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and
the prophets, and all the people all the people, both small and
great. And he read in their ears all
the words of the Book of the Covenant, which was found in
the house of the Lord. And the king stood by a pillar
and made a covenant before the Lord to walk after the Lord and to keep His commandments
and His testimonies and His statutes with all their heart and all
their soul to perform the words of this
covenant that were written in this book. And all the people, all the people
stood to the covenant. Now, beloved, although this is
beyond doubt one of the greatest events recorded in biblical history.
Although this is beyond doubt one of the greatest events recorded
in biblical history, it tragically, it tragically was not a true
revival. It was, at the most, the obligated
response, the obligated response of the nation to their godly
young kings' desperate longing for them as his people, to seek
God and to serve him with all their hearts as he so nobly had
done from his youth. But it was an imposed national
reformation. It was an imposed national reformation
and did not reach the hearts of the people who were steeped
in apostasy and sin, steeped in apostasy and sin as a result
of the decadent evil reigns of their former monarchs. And although
God mercifully stalled His righteous judgment upon them, until after
the death of their godly young king. In 605 BC, Nebuchadnezzar marched
the Babylonian army against Judah, taking into captivity Jehoiachin,
Jehoiachin, Josiah's son, together with all the extended royal family. and all the nobility across the
land and throughout that land with all the temple treasure. Then in 597 BC, the Babylonians
marched a second time against Judah, this time taking into
captivity the entire Judean army with all prominent people and
craftsmen, all prominent people and craftsmen throughout the
land. Then in 587 BC, they besieged Jerusalem. They besieged Jerusalem and eventually
destroyed the city completely. Destroyed the city completely. 48 years later, 48 years later,
in 539 BC, Cyrus, king of the Medo-Persian Empire, conquered
Babylon. conquered Babylon and no doubt
through the influence of the godly prophet Daniel. He not only sanctioned, but he
also financed a return expedition of the Judeans, of the Jews back
to Judah, to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple of the living God,
he said, of the living God. And so in 537 BC, 42,360 Judeans
returned to Jerusalem. 42,360 Judeans returned to the Holy
Land and to Jerusalem, led by Shasbazar and Zerubbabel. The rebuilding and restoration
of the Temple of God was eventually completed in 516 BC. Later, In 458 BC, a second return, expedition,
exodus, back from captivity in Babylon to the Holy Land. A second
expedition was sanctioned by Artaxerxes, to whom Queen Esther
was married. Artaxerxes authorized an uncomprehendably
God-fearing man, an uncomprehendably God-fearing man called Ezra to
oversee and to lead the expedition. Thirteen years later, a third
and final return of the Judeans from Babylonian captivity to
Judah and to Jerusalem was led by Nehemiah. And so there were
three deportations and three returns, three deportations into
captivity in Babylon from Judah and three returns from captivity
in Babylon back to Judah and Jerusalem and Israel as a whole. But tonight I particularly, tonight
I particularly want to consider the second return. In 458 BC,
sanctioned by Artaxerxes and led and overseen by the uncomprehendably
God-fearing Ezra. We read in the book of Ezra,
chapter 7, verse 6, this Ezra, this Ezra went up from Babylon, and he He was a ready scribe
in the law of Moses. That is, he was skilled in the
law of Moses. Verse 10, for Ezra had prepared
his heart to seek the law of the Lord. That is, to study the
law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes
and judgments. for Ezra had prepared his heart
to seek the law of the Lord and to do it. Literally, for Ezra
had devoted himself to the study and observance of the law of
the Lord and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel. Now, beloved, upon their return
to the Holy Land on the 4th of August, 458 BC, Ezra set himself
to the task. Ezra set himself to the task
of recording the names and their tribes of every single person
that had returned from captivity in Babylon to Judea before him
and with him. He then allocated He then allocated
competent and godly men into positions of authority to restore order and governance
throughout the land. He then wrote in chapter 9 verse
1, now when these things were done, when these things were
done, The princes, the princes came to me saying, the people,
the people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated
themselves from the people of the land, doing according to their abominations,
doing according to their abominations. Verse three, and when I heard,
when I heard this thing, I rent my garment, I rent my
garment and my mantle and plucked off the hair of my head and of
my beard. and sat down, astonished. Then were assembled unto me every
one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because
of the transgression of those that had been carried away. And I sat astonished until the evening sacrifice. And at the evening sacrifice,
I rose up from my heaviness. And having rent my garment and
my mantle, I fell upon my knees and spread out my hands unto
the Lord, my God, and said, Oh, my God, I am ashamed. I am ashamed and blushed to lift
up my face to thee, my God. For our iniquities are increased
over our heads, and our trespasses grown up unto the heavens. Verse
10, We have forsaken Thy commandments. We have forsaken Thy commandments. Chapter 10, verse one. Now, when Ezra had prayed and when
he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the
house of God, there assembled unto him, there assembled unto
him out of Israel, a very great congregation of men and women
and children. For the people wept. The people wept very sore. That is, the people wept bitterly. Nehemiah 8, verse 1, And all
the people gathered themselves together, All the people gathered
themselves together as one man, that is, unitedly into the street
that was before the water gate. And they spake unto Ezra, the
scribe. They spake unto Ezra, the scribe,
to bring the book, bring the book, bring the book of the law
of Moses. which the Lord had commanded
to Israel. And Ezra, the priest, brought
the law before the congregation, both of men and women. and all
that could hear with understanding upon the first day of the seventh
month. And he read therein before the street that was before the
water gate from the morning until midday. before the men and the
woman and those that could understand, and the ears of all the people
were attentive unto the book of the law. And Ezra, the scribe, stood upon
a pulpit of wood which they had made for the purpose. Verse five. And Ezra opened the
book in the sight of all the people. And when he opened it, all the
people stood up. And Ezra, bless the Lord, the
great God, And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting
up their hands. And they bowed their heads and
worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. The Sebenbe
and the Levites. caused the people to understand
the law. The Levites caused the people
to understand the law and the people stood in their place. So they read in the book, in
the law of God distinctly and gave the sense that they expounded
and caused them to understand the reading. Verse 9b, And the Levites that taught the
people said unto all the people, this day is holy unto the Lord
your God. Mourn not, nor weep, for all
the people wept. All the people wept when they
heard the words of the law. Verse 10 be, for the joy, the
joy of the Lord. is your strength. The joy of
the Lord is your strength. Verse 13, And on the second day
were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people,
the priests and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to
understand, even to understand the words of the Lord. Chapter 9, verse 2, and the seed
of Israel. The seed of Israel separated
themselves from all strangers, from all the ungodly heathens.
The seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers
and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their
fathers. And they stood up in their place
and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth
part of the day and another fourth part they confessed and worshipped the Lord their
God. Worshipped the Lord their God The greatest and most urgent
need, the greatest and most urgent need of our world today is for the Church of the Lord
Jesus Christ worldwide. The greatest and most urgent
need of our world today is for the Church of our Lord Jesus
Christ to begin to seek God desperately for revival. To seek God desperately
for revival, as desperately as these, the people of God, did here under the ministry,
the life and ministry of this godly man called Ezra. The greatest danger this world
faces today, the greatest danger this entire world faces today,
is if the church of our Lord Jesus Christ worldwide refuses
to begin to seek God desperately for revival. refuses to seek
God desperately for revival as desperately as these, the people
of God, did as recorded here in the Old Testament through
the life and ministry of this godly man called Ezra. Sow to yourselves. Sow to yourselves in righteousness,
Church of Christ. Reap! Reap in mercy! Break up your fallow ground! For it is time to seek the Lord! It is time to seek the Lord!
Till He come and rain righteousness upon you! Hosea 10-12 Oh, church of God. Oh, church of God. It is time
to seek the Lord desperately, desperately. When? When the word
of God lies buried. in the ruins of today's compromising
evangelical churches and movements worldwide. It is time to seek
God desperately when the word of God lies buried in the ruins
of today's compromising evangelical churches and movements worldwide
and has been replaced Dangerously and sacrilegiously
replaced with entertainment! With entertainment! And entertainment
is the devil's substitute for joy, the great Leonard Ravenhill
cried. Entertainment is the devil's
substitute for joy. that I would dare to add to this
profound statement of Mr. Robin Hill. Entertainment in the house of
God is the devil's substitute and counterfeit of the joy of
the Lord, the joy of the Lord. which is the result of repentance
and confession and pursuit of God's righteousness with all
our hearts and souls, concerning every facet of His
holy commandments throughout the sacred book. The church of our lead Lord Jesus
Christ generally worldwide has buried the sharp edge of
the sword deliberately and carefully and brazenly for fear of offense. for fear of offense and has replaced
it with entertainment, dangerously replaced it with
entertainment, to draw the crowds and keep them happy. rather than to preach this book distinctly, no matter what the cost. That is, faithfully, fully, uncompromisingly,
unapologetically, fearlessly, Our old preacher said, I'd rather
have three rows filled with people who want the full word of God
without restriction or apology than to have a church full of
hypocrites like you all are. Oh, did he pay the price. But
within three years, that church had turned to God because of
the courage of this man. who wanted the book, even though
everyone cried out, you're out forever if you ever preach these
things again, that they don't want to hear from this book.
Oh, the church generally has replaced the holy scriptures
being preached distinctly, fearlessly, every aspect of the word of God,
fearlessly, no matter what the consequences are, sir, and replaced
it with sacrilegious entertainment by entertainers that tragically emulate most
of the godless entertainers of the world. In their showmanship, even in
their dress code, everything is the world brought
into the church, and all we have is a stage of worldly entertainment
to keep what? The world happy in the church. and going to hell. But that doesn't matter. It's
the crowd that spells success. It's the tenth, their tithing
that spells my success. Don't offend. Stop preaching
this book distinctly. Even if they go to hell. Oh, you don't say it, but what
are you doing? You say I'm angry when I preach?
So was Christ in indignation at the mockery of God's house and God's religion. And look,
by the religious leaders of the ordained religion of God,
when Christ came on earth, Oh, church has not the time of
come for us to cry as one man, as one man that is unitedly to
the leaders of the evangelical movements and churches worldwide.
Bring the book. Bring back the Bible. All the
blood is on your hands. Forever! Would Christ have said it less with indignation than I have
before you judge me? Sir, lady, then you judge him
if he would have. Church of God, The time has come for us to seek
God desperately when the Word of God lies buried in the ruins
of today's compromising evangelical churches and movements worldwide
and has been replaced, firstly, with entertainment. Secondly, with so-called prophecy and endless manifestations. This thing that has happened to a
large percentage throughout the entire world of what is called
the Evangelical Fundamental Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where
prophecy and manifestations, endless manifestations, have
replaced the authority of God's Word, which is literally buried
apart from the few isolated verses most out of their context and
not in the light of the rest of the chapter or scriptures
which don't say what they say. Prophecy, they have Bible colleges,
they have theological institutes, with one thing that people go
to learn, how to prophesy. They have some prophetic utterance,
prophetic words from God, listen carefully, for God's sake, Church
of Christ, this book is the finnest prophecy. the complete prophecy
of God. We dare not add to it. We dare not take away from it.
We dare not add to this book. The day we allow one man to say
he has further revelation and prophetic utterance from God is the day we open ourselves
to danger. gullible, dangerous territory,
doctrinally. As individuals, we can be accused,
as churches, as nations, as entire movements, we can be told that
this book buried in the chaos and confusion of so much of today's
modern evangelical churches and movements, doctrinally, through their so-called prophetic
ministry and endless manifestations that have literally taken all
authority, taken the place of any authority of this book preached
distinctly. That is fearlessly, fully, uncompromisingly,
unapologetically, faithfully, in its entirety. I dare you who
say you have messages from God just to get back to this book,
the prophecy. Listen, John Wesley, sorry, Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, many others
that I'm missing out, Wesley and on and on and on, all agree. Wesley actually redefined on
all the statements of the great church leaders of the Reformation
to come up with this conclusion in this statement that they all
agreed with, that the word prophecy in this dispensation as edifying
as a gift from God, that enjoyment from God, is nothing more and
nothing less than anointed preaching. Bury Luther then, you new prophets. Bury Wesley, call him an heretic,
erroneous. Who are you? Are you in dangerous
territory, sir? and putting the church in terrible
danger of men saying anything. You see, Peter tells us in 1
Peter 2, 3, prophecy of the Word, the prophecy of the Word. When
Menstead would stand before Christ and say, Lord, have we not prophesied
in thy name? It is clearly taught in every
single commentary of every single man that ever moved the multitudes
in this world to God, without exception, that expounded, commentated,
as anointed, unctionised, preaching and teaching of the holy writ
of God in the light of eternity. Wesley's perfect wording. That's
all it is. Preachers will cry, have we not
preached in thy name? In its context, agreed with by
the greatest theologians that ever lived. And are you to say
they are heretic, sir, now that you have taken over with bearing
the book and have further revelation? Oh, be careful, Church of Christ. Has not the time come for us
to cry to the leaders of these movements and the preachers,
unitedly as one man, unitedly, till they unnerve in what they're
doing? Bring back the book, for God's
sake. Bring the book. Bring the Bible
back. We dare you and preach with anointed,
unchronized preaching and expounding of the holy writ of God in the
light of eternity. Oh, get out of the pulpit! For everyone's sake. and gullibility
heaped to themselves, teachers having itching ears who turn
away their ears from the truth, who receive anything, including
this, that is buried God's Word. Oh, Church of God, we need to desperately,
unitedly cry out in the Word of God when the word of God lies
buried in the runes of the chaotic, confused manifestations, when
the word of God lies buried in the runes of today's compromising
evangelical churches and movements worldwide generally, and has
been replaced firstly with entertainment, secondly with manifestations,
with prophetic utterances and endless manifestations, Thirdly, through hyper-dispensationalism. I, of course, agree with any
sane person who is truly born again and reads and studies his
book as the goal of every day of his life, let alone in his
life. I agree. Of course there's dispensations
that we have in the Bible. Of course there's dispensations.
I am a dispensationalist. Of course we are. But when you allow our teachers to
dispense of between 80 and 90% of the entire Bible as irrelevant,
that's doing the devil's work, Church of Christ. You're busy
doing the devil's work. How can we allow them? Let me
shock you. In the most evangelical fundamental
institutes throughout the world today, there are tragic teachings going
on in your greatest and most trusted in the past years of
evangelical fundamental preachers. They are teaching that between
80 and 90 percent of the entire Bible is irrelevant. Sir, we're in danger of giving
them a beautiful black leather-covered book with a few pages in it left
that they have the right to preach on that's even relevant. and that is not meaningless to
today's dispensation, the gospel dispensation. I wonder if the day is not coming
when the institutions we once revered and send our children
to and preachers will not, when they hand them their degrees at the end of their course and
ordain them, they'll hand together with their degrees that they've
been brainwashed with, Beautiful, hard, black leather
covered, not one page in it left to preach on. And let me tell you, Church of
Christ, from my soul, if we let them alone and do not rise up and cry out as one man, unitedly,
to unnerve and to stop these people because of their academic
authority, we're too scared to. No! If we do not rise up and cry
out, bring back the book, give us back the whole Bible, sir. Don't teach or tell us that 90%
is irrelevant. For us to preach from or believe
in could in any way have any rightful place to be brought
from the pulpit of God anymore. who in their right mind that
hasn't lost totally their sensibility spiritually could honestly endorse
what is happening because of academic principles and professors
theologically. I'm almost scared to say get
a doctorate. The time has come, I believe,
for the church to redefine Fundamentalism. Fundamental evangelicals used
to stand alone of every denomination, perhaps one in a whole denomination,
fundamental. What does that mean? Sir, I don't
ask you if you believe in all today's modern translations,
in all today's modern compromising teachings, that buried this book
mostly in its entirety. I ask you, do you still believe
and endorse that every word from Genesis 1 to Revelation is relevant? Of course we know the context,
but in the light of the rest of the scriptures, it's vital
to know the heart of God. There's nothing in this book
we didn't need to understand even the cross. even to grasp
something of the meaning of the cross, to understand the teachings
of the New Testament that had taken nearly 80% of the Old Testament
is the New Testament, almost word-perfect, this side of Calvary. And in their context, but in
the light of all the rest of the Scriptures, we need to teach
what God put two-thirds of the Bible. Was that a mistake? And not for the church, by the
way, but for this generation, who suddenly had wisdom that
outweighs Spurgeon, Wesley. These men never, ever, though
they believed in the dispensations that are vital, they never turned
the rest of the Bibles irrelevant. They preached from it. They expounded,
they taught the people until nations turned to God under their
ministry. And you, sir, what do you leave
our preachers to bring the nations back to God with? The time has come for us to seek
God desperately, desperately, when the word of God lies buried
brazenly and sacrilegiously and blasphemously in the ruins of
today's modern compromising evangelical movements and churches worldwide
and has been replaced with entertainment, firstly, with so-called prophecy and endless
manifestations. with hyper-extreme dispensationalism. And fourthly, through most of the new translations
of our Bible, which buried the text that was
King James, It was good enough for the Spurgeons, the Wesleys, the greatest preachers that moved
the world to God, and there are millions who never ever questioned
the authority of this. And now take the new versions
and find me a page, especially the New Testament, that does
not have written this verse is not found in the oldest manuscripts. That is Westcott and Hort's manuscript.
That almost every new version, 99% some man said to me, has endorsed
and thrown away the text that was faithful, that moved millions
to God and never doubted by the greatest preachers that ever
lived without exception. Our generation has to have another
text that casts doubt upon the divine inspiration of the spook.
But what doubt? Tragically, you will find these
little insertions, this passage, eight verses omitted and so on,
is not found in the oldest known manuscripts. These, doubtfully, were divinely
inspired but were inserted later on by people who had leanings
and wanted to put their leanings into the scriptures so wrong
texts were written. And so Westcott and Hort, who
weren't saved, by the way – anyone that doesn't doubt that – how
could they be saved? They were spiritists. They didn't
believe. They didn't believe in the divine
inspiration of Genesis. They believed in the theory of
evolution, embraced it, endorsed it, and unashamedly taught it. Who didn't believe in the divinity
of Christ? Sir, go back to the history books
and see if I'm now blackening their names unrighteously. Are we to fear what was known
of them when they gave the world the text that has been taken
up by almost every new translation. Because it is the oldest manuscript
doesn't mean it was the one God wanted. Let me tell you, in the
time of Christ, in the time of Paul, in the time of Peter, there
were heretics writing. They find Gospels according to
Judas. Yes, these things were written
in those times by people who didn't love God, who didn't know
God. Heretics wrote them. Yes, these manuscripts, the earliest,
oldest of the manuscripts that we now have taken our text from
that cause doubt and omit, because it's all omitted. You think they
weren't heretics then? But why did God, or don't you
believe God the Holy Spirit had the power to preserve his word
throughout the centuries? To bring nations and millions
to Christ through the greatest generations of our gospel. Dispensation. Didn't he have the power to preserve
and to bring about what was to be used to reach the masses through
the greatest preachers that we'll ever name that preached and bury
the heretical, nonsensical, perverted text of unsaved men? didn't believe in eternity. Why
is it that these little abbreviations, or total, in many, total big
gaps, totally, they won't even put it in. Look at your Bibles,
for God's sake, and ask yourself, why is it that these omissions,
these questions, these little question marks, this was not
found in the oldest manuscript, this is not divinely inspired,
these next few verses, it was added by some heretic. Why is
it that they always do that with the most essential doctrines
of our faith? the divinity of Christ. Oh yes,
one man said to me, who nearly crucified me, for daring to say
such a thing. Two actually. but there is the divinity of
Christ.' I said, no, sir. He showed me, I said, yes, I
agree. But why is it that 90%, actually
nearly 97%, of every other verse that affirms Christ's divinity
and is the foundation for the divinity of Christ, is either
omitted entirely or cast out upon as of the originals and
therefore not – why is it? Where is it heading? The last
few verses you say and justify your versions, why did they do
that? Why did Westcott and Hawke do
that? Why do we do it? The verses that justified, that
gave us the basis for the vital doctrines of our faith, the divinity
of Christ. Eternal judgment, omitted, verse
upon verse, passage upon passage. This is not an... It casts doubt
on the divine inspiration and authority of the word of God.
It takes away, robs, buries God's word. In this Tragic generation of academic
theologians, influencers, and choicers. And if Spurgeon was here tonight,
sir, he would say it more emphatically than I have. Wesley would have
walked out and refused to preach to people who had most of these
new versions. as I believe Leonard Rabindranath
once did. Eternal judgement, holiness. Suddenly, Romans 8. No condemnation
to them which in Christ Jesus. A little insertion in most of
the new Bibles. The next few verses are not found
in the Old Testament. Who walk, not after the flesh,
but after the spirit. For they that are after the flesh,
to bind the things of the flesh. For they that are after the spirit,
the things of the spirit. Listen, sir. The conditions of
not being condemned are righteous living, holiness without which
no man shall see God. I'm not talking about sinless
perfection. I'm talking about radical. transformation by the
Holy Spirit when you're saved, that you are a new creature in
Christ. All things have passed away, all things have become
new, and this speaks in relation to one thing, sir, not your choice
of food or clothing, but righteousness. not imputed by grace through
faith, but imparted by the Holy Ghost to fulfil the conditions
of what God says is true salvation. Now, there's a few of you that
want to crucify me. Please wait until I'm finished. Isn't it? Answer God, isn't it so? Answer God. Even if the Bible has been buried
in the ruins of today's modern, compromising, academic, theological
influences of the church generally worldwide. Oh, the time has come
to seek the Lord desperately, beloved. Has not the time come
for us to, as one man, as one man, that is unitedly cry out
to their unnerved, stop. Bring the book in its entirety
back. Give us the Bible without all
the doubts and everything that the unsaved men who lie in hell
now gave a text. made us academically say, because
it's the oldest, it must be the best rubbish. Because it's the
oldest doesn't mean it's the best, sir. But did God lose power
when he buried that oldest through most of the gospel dispensation?
Because we're right at the end of it now. When the Jews return,
the time of the Gentiles is over. And that's happened, the Jews
have returned in 1948, my lifetime. This dispensation is nearly over,
sir. Be careful what you do with the
last generation, nearly seven billion, whose blood will be
in your hands if they don't believe this eternal judgment. If they
don't believe Jesus was God, manifest in the flesh. Do you
know they are writing a Bible now, and God, I am too scared,
I am honestly too scared to say who is publishing it, because
you won't believe it, that not one verse in the entire Bible,
Old and New Testament, could possibly relate anything of the
divinity of Christ. Now, who is behind that? Go and ask them where they are
getting the money from. But it's coming, and we're so
gullible we'll take the next person because it's easy reading.
Ha! Rubbish. You can't understand
thee and thou, there's something wrong with you. When you're saved,
the natural man cannot receive the things of God, but the spirits,
the moment the spirit is in your life, this book becomes a lie,
the letter kills, but the spirit gives life! And you know you're
saved when this book bursts alive, sir. These and thou's aren't
a problem, you're just unsaved. who can't understand a thing
of that book and take easy reading that buried the holy book, sir.
Oh. Finally, the people of Israel and the
priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from
the people of the land, from the godless, heathen, doing according
to their abominations. Now, beloved, of course In the
immediate context, anyone would know that speaking about intermarriage,
which God forbade of the Jews to keep a holy people for the
Messiah and right to this generation. Don't you dare believe the dispensation
that this dispensation has no place for the Jews. So then you
have to really bury prophecy. of what God says would happen
to Israel right before he comes. Wow! And in the time of the...
They have a prominent role as a nation to this day. If they're
not saved through the blood of Christ and repentance from rejecting
Christ as their Messiah, they'll never get to heaven. I don't
believe that rubbish. But the Jews as a nation are prominent.
Beloved, the point was not for them to not intermarry that was
being brought here. The great thing here was they
were defiled through this. And the New Testament teaches
the same thing as was taught to the people of God there, be
not unequally yoked with unbelievers. God tells us throughout the New
Testament to marry in the Lord. It is vital. What was theirs
is the New Testament teachings, but of God's children washed
in the blood of all nations. throughout this land, throughout
this world, to not be unequal because of what doing according
to their abominations is a great problem here. Don't doubt that is what's being
cried by God in the light of all the scriptures, sir. It is tragic, and may I ask this
generation that we ourselves also have not
separated ourselves from the people that the ungodly heathen
of the lands, doing according to their abominations. Ezra 6 verse 2 speaks of such
as had separated themselves from the filthiness of the heathen
of the land. This is the point. This is the grief. This is what
God was condemning. Come ye apart and be ye separate,
God says. Where did that end? Abstain from
all appearance of evil. James 4 verse 2 says the adulterers,
the adulteress is speaking to Christians. Know ye not that
the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore
will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Does that
not put fear in your hearts? Answer God, now, if you have
a heart. If you have one eye out of respect
to your eternal soul, answer God. Know ye not that the friendship
of the world, that doesn't mean you don't care for their souls
and try to win them, but when they win you, When you're no longer there to
win them, they're winning you. In compromise and worldliness
that you haven't even got the right to testify to them again.
You're so stooped with compromises. Oh, be careful. Whosoever therefore
will be a friend of the world is not to win the world, sir.
That we all have a responsibility beginning with the world in our
home is the enemy of God. Tragic. Tragic. Do we care about these
verses? Every single one of you, even
preachers, I ask this. I ask you to have the courage
worldwide if these videos actually manage to get out of this door. Have you kept yourself unspotted
from the world, sir? Answer God. Have you kept yourself
pure? That's your side. You have a
choice after salvation. Or do you sit here spotted by
the world, your peace with God spotted, your testimony so spotted
you haven't got a testimony in most people that know you wouldn't
accept it without laughing in your face because you're so like
them, you do what they do. What a tragedy. Has this generation
not had the same said everywhere about them who walk out of the
evangelical churches, walking and leaping and praising God
and everything else that goes with the emotional trash that's there
today? Oh, dancing. We don't mind getting
them dancing. We wouldn't mind if they danced
down the aisles. When did it come that they danced down the
aisles? We want that all the way to hell. So long as you get
them dancing, walking and leaping and praising God, oh yes. The
joy of the Lord. Keep them happy. Don't offend
them now. Don't upset the whole atmosphere. You have joy. Sir,
you have no right to have joy if you're guilty of all that
God condemns. Let your laughter be turned to
mourning, James says. Why don't we preach that? You
have no right to laugh in God's presence under this book with
the people of God. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your
joy to heaviness! God's Word says, who is he speaking
to? No one. No one. Let me tell you. People
who attach themselves to the Church of Christ, who are in
the world. Let me tell you. I think it was
Rabinow that said in Why Revival Tarries, the Church is at home
in the world. That's why the world is at home
in the Church. because we just like them. Well, aren't you? Aren't you? Even you preachers
that will condemn me through this message, aren't you? Why
don't you just once answer God and not man, and not your conscience
that's so seared with a hot iron that I don't know how you can
preach if you are guilty of these things. And, in closing, may God please
give us another Ezra. Whose prayers, brokenness and
shame and fear bring a nation, the people of
God that is, to weeping again. through this book, to repentance
and separating themselves from the people, the ungodly. I think the time has come for
us to go and witness to the ungodly and then turn away and run screaming
for help, to not be drawn back. Does it so matter, your friends,
that your soul means nothing to you or Christ's death for
it means nothing to you? Knowing the judgment of God that
they which commit such things are worthy of death not only
do the same But have pleasure in them that do them. This is
people. God will condemn people who know Let me shock every one of you life
is so short But that's going to be the greatest shock you've
ever had in life every one of you when you think it started.
It's ended You think you got along? I walked away from every friend.
Sorry, they ran from me. They laughed at me. They mocked
me. I found one years later who dragged
me into this alley, this wrinkled, broken life. What do you want? Don't you know who I am, Keith? He was the weakling, the little
weak one of the group I ran around with in my unshaved days. He said, oh, we mocked you. You
were a joke, too good for us. We stood in the streets pretending
we preached like Keith Daniel, laughing, mocking. But Keith,
not one of us is laughing anymore. And then he named all my friends
that had died in sin. And then he did something terrible
a few days later. Yes, I lost all my friends. I
was mocked. Just wait. If you could just
open your eyes to see 10 years from now, 20 years from now,
if God tarries, what they are. You'd lose them tonight without
hesitation to find truth in God. And you who play the fool, oh
God have mercy on you. God looks for a man. The eyes
of the Lord run to and fro. You notice that word to and fro
is spoken of two people in the Bible. Satan, the roaring lion,
walketh about to and fro throughout the whole earth. He said to God
when God says from whence comest thou. From walking up and down,
to and fro, and up and down throughout the whole earth. What? Seeking
to show himself. Yes, to show, as a lion does,
destroy lives. Has thou considered my servant
Job, with old Job going around? Are you going to be a Job, or
what? What are you? You sit in conventions
like this, and your heart is waiting for the world. Unreservedly,
fearlessly, what's wrong with you? For God's sake, wake up
before you go to hell. And you Christians, before you
send people to hell, by losing the right to tell them about
hell, as you play the fool, doing according to their abominations,
and not separating yourself in a way that they know you will
never compromise. Never. Oh God, give us another Ezra. The eyes of the Lord run to and
fro throughout the whole earth seeking to show himself strong
in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. God said
that. At what point God can say that
of such base creatures as we, I don't know, but he does. And
he found Ezra. The difference between Ezra and
Josiah. Josiah was a king. That was an imposed, obligated
reformation. Ezra was a scribe, he wasn't
even a prophet, like the rest of the Bible, who moved nations
to God. And he brought the entire people
of God back to God in such a revival. that still staggers the powers
of hell that we can speak about that's possible. It is time to seek the Lord,
Church of Christ. Desperately, as desperately as
these, the people of God, here, sought God through the life and ministry
of the godly Ezra that God found in the Word, uncompromisingly,
fearlessly preaching the law, for by the law is the knowledge
of sin. I preached on that. I don't even know how many years
ago, why we have to preach the law. I preached on the history
of the Bible. Two years ago, And I brought
in one little section of the modern versions to end from the
beginning of every single thing recorded in this holy book, where
its orange ends were and how God compiled it in the canonization
and what the devil did to try and wipe it out through Rome. And now, in our generation, through
the things I've named, the greatest and most urgent
need of our world today. Don't doubt this Church of Christ.
is for the church of our Lord Jesus Christ to begin to desperately
seek God for revival, as desperately diseased the people of God here
did under and through the life and ministry of the godly Ezra.
But the greatest danger, the greatest danger our world faces
today, the entire world, is if the Church of the Lord Jesus
Christ worldwide does not begin to desperately seek God for revival, as desperately as
these people recorded in God's Word. If my people And I believe
that's written dispensationalists for all generations. Everything
was given and written for us as examples and to know the heart
of God's New Testament. Nothing was not essential to
know the heart of God. If my people who are called by
my name shall humble themselves and pray and confess their sins
and turn from their wicked ways. My people, you can have to turn. There has to come a moment when
that can happen to the people of God. There I will hear from
heaven. I will hear from heaven. I will
forgive their sins and will heal their land. And if your land
is destroyed by sin and depravity and loses everything of greatness
that God gave it because of the generations of your forefathers
that sought God desperately and found him. If you lie in ruins
destroyed as a nation, America, it's because this generation
refused to seek God, to begin to seek God desperately for revival. Don't blame the government. I blame the church that didn't
get on their knees while they could. and get right with God
desperately through revival. And let me assure you, on our
knees there's no army on earth that can compare with what God
will do with the army of God on their knees. No other weapons
but this. Doing battle against the powers
of darkness, the history of your nation will change overnight
and turn totally. But if you don't, You'll be scared to walk out
of your front door soon, sir, even you theologians that hate
me for preaching this. I guarantee you, with what comes
to this world, because of the church's refusing, Can we stand, please?
