The Faith of Jesus Christ

The closing phrase of Romans 3:26 is translated, "him which believes in Jesus". Young's Literal Translation has it "who is of the faith of Jesus". The New American Standard Bible has a note saying it is literally, "which is of the faith of Jesus". This refers to the one objective, settled, body of truth. It is jointly owned by the three Persons of the Godhead. When referring to Christ, it identifies Him as the one who has executed and is the subject of the faith.
