Assurance

In this passage, John gives one of the purposes for writing this letter - all that we have looked at before - articulated as think, feel, do - describing the Christian life was for the purpose that we know that we have eternal life.
Today we are going to talk about assurance. In addition, we will look at the confidence that we have in prayer. If ask anything according to His will, He hears us. This gives us confidence because we know that if we pray foolish or sinful prayers, God will overrule the prayer.
