What God's Salvation Has Done for Us

Believers are to and will live with appreciation and respect for the greatness of what God has done for them in salvation. When that has diminished, become unimportant or forgotten so too will be the lifestyle of the believer. It is in knowing and remembering the work of God in salvation that will serve to motivate the believer to live a life of holiness with humility and awe for God. God's love, mercy, and kindness are treasures found in the free gift of eternal life provided through God's salvation. Hence, there is cause for awe, gratitude, and joy even while living in our world, among unbelievers.
