Hello again and welcome to the program. We're here with a special program. We had an election last night in Canada and we're going to talk about that. Stay tuned. A lot of people are concerned about how the election turned out or didn't turn out. What are my thoughts about that? Well, looking ahead, I pray more earnestly than I ever did. He said in Revelation 22 20, he which testifies these things say, surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so come Lord Jesus. I'm hoping the rapture is going to happen pretty soon because if it doesn't, we're going to face some hard times. I think what we have here isn't a wake-up call. Romans 13 11 says that knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believe. I don't think we have a lot of time left on this world to do what God wants us to be doing. Concerning the situations in this world, we need to keep in mind that God is in charge. Romans 13, one says, there's no power, but of God, the powers that be are ordained of God. We always get the kind of government we deserve as Christians. When God needed Pharaoh to straighten out his people, Pharaoh was there. When God needed Herod to straighten out his people, Herod was there. In 1 Corinthians 10 and verse number 11, we read, these things happened unto them, but it goes on to say, they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. For example, something that was written for our admonition, Psalm 106 verse 13 says, they soon forgot his works and they waited not for his counsel. Who are they? Children of Israel. They were praising God. They came out from Egypt and they were so happy about that, but they soon forgot his works. They waited not for his counsel. In verse 21, it says they forgot God. Now that's even worse than forgetting his works. They forgot God, their salvation, which had done great things in Egypt. And so you read the rest of that chapter, Psalm 106, you get the insight there as to what happened. But in verse 41, we read, he gave them into the hand of the heathen, and they that hated them ruled over them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Now the word heathen means Gentile. Anytime you see the word heathen in the Bible, it's referring other than Jews. Let me read it again. He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and they that hated them, ruled over them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. If we're not going to listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, maybe we'll listen to those who will reign over us who don't really like us. Jude gave us a specific warning. He said in Jude 1 and 3, Beloved, when they gave all diligence to write unto you the common salvation, It was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saint. Now he talked about common salvation. The word common is a translation of the Greek word that is spelled K-O-N-I-S. In Mark chapter seven, verse number two, it is translated defiled. In Romans 14, verse 14, it is translated unclean. three times. In Hebrews 10 and 28 it is translated unholy thing. Jude was writing about the common, the defiled, unclean, unholy plan of salvation that was being presented in his day, and he was warning them they needed to stand and contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. In recent years, as God watched on, so-called fundamental leaders changed God's plan of salvation. Now, we can't get any more apostate than changing God's plan of salvation. They said repentance is the enemy of soul winning. Jesus said, except you repent, you're going to go to hell. Except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. Now we're going to believe these fundamental leaders, they call themselves, and we're going to believe God. And even worse than what they said, even worse, is there has been no outcry about it among what we call fundamentalists. Oh yeah, we'll get all bent out of shape if somebody doesn't have the haircut right or they sing the wrong kind of songs. And I think those things are important. But we're going to get excited about those and somebody changes the plan of salvation and we don't say anything about it. Is it any wonder we're facing the judgment of God? Again, Jude said in verse three, Beloved, I gave all diligence to write unto you the common salvation. It was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints, once delivered, not to be changed. To contend is to state a belief confidently and forcefully. Jude 1, 4 says certain men crept in unawares. Jesus explained how that happened in Matthew 15, verse number 3. He said, but while men slept, his enemies came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. Now here's the picture. A man is sleeping. He does not know what's going on around him if he's sleeping. Beside him is his bag of seed. The enemy sneaks in there. He plants tares in the bag. And then the Bible said he went his way, leaving the sower to wake up half asleep, half awake, and to go out in the field and sow the tares with the wheat. The problem began because the sower was asleep when he should have been awake. Jude gave all diligence to write about this. He exposed the defiled, unclean, unholy plan of salvation. And we are commended of God to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. But they've changed the plan of salvation and we're strangely silent about that. Some are not silent about it. They actually promote it because their fundamental friend said so. Hey, I'm a fundamentalist. I consider myself a fundamentalist according to the scriptures, not according to this new Laodicean fundamentalism that we have today. We have the warning in Jeremiah chapter six, verse 16, thus say of the Lord, stand ye in the ways and see and ask for the old paths wherein is the good way and walk therein and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk there in. It's like today. Well, Lord, we know what your word says, but we found a better way. So we've got the kind of government we deserve. However, there's hope. Second Chronicles 7, 14 says, if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways. Then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. That's the only hope now. It's revival for survival.
