now will never know the America that I knew. And so there's, everything's changed so much. That's why we need to commit ourselves to the word of God like we've never done that before. Some of you know this, my wife and I worked for 10 years behind the Iron Curtain, the old Iron Curtain. And the people we worked with there had a resolve about them. They were gonna serve the Lord regardless of the circumstance. And as we look at today here in America, We've lost that resolve in a large way. And may God work in our hearts, boy, and may God raise up some, thank you, sir. May God raise up some young people, fire up some old people to, boy, just become totally committed to the Lord, amen? Well, let me get into this. I'm not used to doing too much talking anyway. I usually come to the pulpit and just start preaching. What's anything wrong with that? Well, let's pray and then it's preaching time, amen? Dear Heavenly Fathers, we come to you at this time in the name of Jesus. Dear God, how I pray that you would grant us understanding. Lord, give us understanding that we might understand the scriptures. And then, dear Heavenly Father, I pray for a filling of the Holy Spirit, and we might have power in service and power over sin. And now, Father, I ask that you would open the hearts and minds of the people that's here. Speak to hearts tonight. Lord, make a difference in somebody's life. Dear God, we pray that you'd call men to preach. We ask, dear God, that you'd just work in the lives of men and women. Dear Lord, that they would surrender their lives to you in a time where it might cost them their lives. And now, dear Heavenly Father, as I work through these notes that you give me, I ask, dear God, that you would use it now. Use it. Give me clarity of thought and mind. I ask it in Jesus' name and for His sake. Amen. On the paper there, I put a biblical view from salvation to service. A lot of stuff, but it's just what I've got here. I'm gonna work through this because it's so important. Let me start off with this. The first part's gonna be salvation. I've put down here Matthew 7, 21 to 23, and out beside of it, you'll see beside each scripture, I've put a topic there, a lot of them. Religious and lost, an old familiar passage of scripture. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. And then the next verse says, many, many, many will say, Many will say. The first thing I want to say to you is that just because somebody's preaching, that's no sign they're saved. Just because somebody's a missionary, it's no sign they're saved. Just because they're a Sunday school teacher, no sign they're saved. Because they're passing out tracts, it's no sign they're saved. You've got to understand something. The Word of God teaches there's going to be a lot of people, many, everybody say many with me, say it. That's right. Are you one of the many religious and lost? You might, look what these people do. Man, they done it all. Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, in thy name cast out devils, in thy name done many wonderful works. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me that work iniquity. The first thing we've got to realize is just because somebody acts like they're religious is no sign they're saved. The first thing that I see in this passage of Scripture right here is simply this, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. There's a lot of people that do godly work, but they don't work for God. It's the will of God that makes the difference. It's not our will, it's His will. One of the signs of somebody that's surely religious and lost is that they're going to do everything their way. Man, they've got their own mind about it. They're going to do it their way. And when you start doing it your way, it's your business. It's your ministry. It's your religion, not his. It said many. That tells me that there's going to be a lot of people I know that's going to slide right off the church pew straight into hell. It's telling me that there's going to be preachers I know die and go to hell. It's telling me there's missionaries I know that are going to die and go to hell. It's telling me there's Sunday school teachers that's going to die and go to hell. It's telling me there's deacons that's going to die and go to hell. It's telling me there's a whole bunch of people carrying a Bible around singing the songs of Zion that's going to die and go to hell. That's what it says. The reality of it is this. If you're living your own life, your own way, and you've got your own cafeteria style religion, I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for your salvation. Period. You know why? Because it's your religion. Well, I will, I won't. Will, I won't. And God said, yeah, you won't. The other thing is this. Do you know why we need some saved men and women? God's church needs saved people. We need some saved preachers. Men that's truly born again. Not somebody that's mama called and daddy sent. Not somebody that's just wanting to be a sweet, kind, religious thing. No, pardon my words. And you might say, oh, you wouldn't say that. Yeah, I will say that. We need some hell raisers. We need some men that's willing to preach the hell out of somebody. Some people say, well, I wouldn't have said it like that. Well, that's why I said it. The fact of it is, as I look around anymore, boy, the only thing I see is I see mousy men. We don't need that. We don't need mousy men. We need mighty men of God. Men that's mighty in prayer and women that's mighty in prayer. Talk about prayer, things just fall apart. Over at our church, I try to pray every time two or more gather together, we pray. I got a Thursday night prayer meeting, Wednesday night prayer, Saturday morning prayer meeting, and I built the church off prayer. We started off with 10, I preached it down to six, and now we're running 30. The fact of it is, they say, well, how many doors you knocked? Just the ones that was necessary. Fact of it is, is we built it off prayer. That's what we did. So we start off, I want you to know something, religious and lost, we don't need lost preachers. Many, we don't need that. We don't want that. We want truly born again people. that are truly serving God according to His will, not according to their will. The next, Acts 2, 36 and 38. Let me show you something here. Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made the same Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ, Now watch this, when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Watch this, then Peter said unto them, repent. and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Let me tell you something. You know what you find there? You find conviction, conviction and conversion, conviction and conversion, conviction and conversion. No conviction, no conversion. No conviction, no conversion. Do you hear me? No conviction, no conversion. We need, we need, may God bring people under conviction of sin. That they might come to God and repent of their sin. You see, truly born again people that have a conscience. There's a whole lot on the television they wouldn't watch. Man, the people, Christian people, they've lost the idea of reverence for God. They don't know what ecclesiastical separation is. They'll watch anything on television. People on television will cuss you. And if somebody walked in your house physically and started cussing like they do on television, you'd throw them out. But since it's on the television, you'll pass it by. Tell you what you do, why don't you try to shut that stupid thing off and read your Bible some? Why don't you make a commitment to prayer? And if you hadn't prayed that much, do something else, shut that thing off. Don't grieve the spirit of God within you as a saved person by enduring the violence and filth on the television. What's wrong with God's people living holy? Holy, holy? You know what holy is? It's just making the right decisions that God would be pleased with in your life. No conviction, no conversion. Look at that. Man, they were under conviction about this. And Peter said unto them, repent, repent. I realized this, now listen to me. There's so much Protestant doctrine in Baptist churches that Baptist people don't know the difference between Protestant doctrine and Baptist doctrine. And we talk about this word repent, and that's almost, what does that mean, repent? Maybe we need to preach it to the point that people understand it and become conscious of it. When God saved you, did he bring you to a place of where you wanted to repent of your sin? Did you repent of your sin? Did you turn from your sin? You see the importance of this. Now watch, I wanna show you something here in that verse before I move on. Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Every believer has the Holy Spirit living within them. All right? Now we're gonna talk about that in just a second. But I want you to know something. People tell me they're saved. And I don't see how in the world they can do what they do. Listen, if I fed you a six-pack of cold beer or something, everyone would be acting goofy. I just think a little old six-pack of beer would have more influence on you than the Holy Spirit does living in you. There's something wrong with that. You mean to tell me that there's just physical things around you that has more influence on you than the Holy Spirit of God that dwells in you? That don't make a lick of sense to me. Pardon me, but I believe that the Holy Spirit of God, when He's in somebody, He's gonna control that person. He's going to deal with your heart and your mind and your soul. People go out and do all kinds of things, and it seems like the Holy Spirit within them doesn't have a lick of power. Maybe it's because you're none of His. Look at the next verse. A new person in words, actions, and deeds. 2 Corinthians 5, 17. Therefore, for any man being Christ, he's a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things become new. Galatians 6 15 for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision but a new creature a New creature a New creature Wow a new creature a Let me ask you a question. When somebody gets saved around you, God saves them, do you expect them to be a new creature? The word of God says that we can expect that person to be a new creature. People tell me they're saved. One of the first things I ask them is, well, what changed? What changed? You tell me you're saved, then I want to know what changed in your life. If you're a new creature and behold, old things pass away, old things become new. Something has changed. And man, if it hadn't changed, there's something wrong because the word of God says something changed. Right? Some of you looking at me like a bunch of baby owls. Listen, we gotta get back to the Word of God. We must get back to the Word of God. If the Word of God said it, then let's expect it. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature. Behold, all things pass away, all things become new. If that's the Word of God, then let's expect it. Right? I don't know about you, but when God changed me, everything's changed. My wife asked her. The reality of it is this. That's what the word of God says. Should we expect anything less? No. Now, I've got a point. I'm heading somewhere. I'll get there eventually. All right, look at Romans 8 and 9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. If so, be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he's none of his. If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he's none of his. When my mother died, I didn't cry. Not a lip. My mother was raised by the Blackfoot Indians up on the Flathead Indian Reservation. My dad was German-Irish. She rolled chicken bones to tell what was going on. Him being a good German, just drank beer and didn't care. And you know what? None of his Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he's none of his. They had a spirit about them. My mother had a spirit about her. But then when God saved me, something happened. If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he's none of his. It's changed me somehow. I didn't cry at my own mother's funeral, but I've cried a thousand tears for people in church. Preachers, people struggling, things. I've cried a thousand tears for the kids, everybody. How'd that happen? What turned my stony heart into a heart of flesh? Let me tell you, that's God doing that. That's God doing that. Now watch this, but if you have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Can you imagine a preacher without the Spirit of Christ? Can you imagine a professing Christian without the Spirit of Christ? How good would a preacher in a pulpit be without the Spirit of Christ? How good would a servant of Christ in the church be without the Spirit of Christ? The reality of it is this. How good would a Sunday school teacher be without the Spirit of Christ? You see, the truth of it is this, they're worthless. That's what the Word of God says. They're worthless because they don't have the ability to teach anything spiritual. Don't expect nothing spiritual out of a lost person. Can they give you ideas and thoughts and things like that? Sure they can. Can they give you worldly things? Sure they can. Can they give you spiritual things? Nope, not at all. Well, I don't know about you, but the fact of it is, are you saved? A church of the Lord Jesus Christ needs saved Sunday school teachers, saved deacons, saved song leaders, saved choir members, saved church members. That's what's needed. People that's been truly born again. People that's been under conviction of sin. When God saved me, I found a little giddy in New Testament laying in an old blowed out building in Vietnam. I went back to my grass house and the jungle read all the way through it. Boy, that thing started speaking to my heart. Next thing you know, I got in a fight with a landmine and lost. But there's one thing I still have, and it's that little Bible. Somebody sent that thing to me. Still got it. But I want you to know something. I didn't laugh my way into heaven. I was under conviction of sin. God showed me that I was a sinner needing a Savior. And then he showed me who the Savior was. We use the term conversion. Do you know what that means? That means you're converted from whatever you were to this. Before I move on, have you been converted? Have you been converted? How does sin affect you? The Bible says, let sin be exceedingly sinful. I don't see that anymore. I see mass toleration of sin. Now sit still for a second. Because I'm going to take you on a ride with me now that's going to bring it right down and sit it in your lap. Because now it's going to get personal. Let's talk about our service to the Lord. Matthew 6, 24, No man can serve two masters, for either he will have the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. You see that? Now listen to me. The first thing, I'm just going to address this. The first thing the servant of God has got to do is cut the world loose. You've got to make the choice. You cannot serve God and man. If you notice, I put that word there, you cannot. See that? You know what that is? That's an absolute negative. You cannot do that. It's either one or the other, but not both. So that means, first of all, if you're gonna serve Christ, you're gonna have to choose right now who it's gonna be. Either that, you're just gonna be walking the rope all the time, in the middle, you know? That's why I like Joshua 24, 15. As for me and my house, we'll serve the Lord. The reality of it is this, you cannot do both. Listen to me, folks. The servant of God, I don't care from the preacher to the pew, needs to make the choice. Either you're gonna be in the world or you're not. Watch this next verse. John 12, 24. You must die to self. Verily, verily, I say unto you, except the corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. One of the problems of fruit in a Christian's life is they've not died yet. One of the problems with preachers that are fruitless is because they've not died yet. One of the problems with the missionaries on the mission field, they're not died yet. The reality, listen, what we find, look what it says. This is not me, this is the word of God. Except a corn wheat fall on the ground and die, it abideth alone, but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. We need some men and women that's willing to die to self. We need some men and women and servants of God that's willing to say, all right, I'm done with it. God, whatever you want, let's do it. Die to self. The problem, look what it says, the problem with fruit is the lack of death. Most Christians I know are so worldly, you can't tell the difference between them and any worldly I see. They walk the same, talk the same, dress the same, act the same, everything. Watch the same programs. Listen, rather than getting your face in Facebook, you ought to get your face in God's book. But except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die. Is anybody here willing to die to self today? Is there anybody here that likes to see fruit? Spiritual fruit? Well, you might have to die to do it. I want you to know, I've met some people that's picked up that challenge a long time ago. But have you picked that up? The weakness in your life It might be just this, the fact that you haven't died to self yet. The reality of it is, listen, except that corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it die, but if it die, but if it die, look at this, it bringeth forth much fruit. Are you willing to die today to be fruitful for Christ tomorrow? Hmm. John 15, 5. You must realize your inability and Christ's ability. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. For without me ye can do nothing. You can do nothing. Now listen. I know some preachers. If they come out to where I'm at, you give them six months, they'd be running 700. Man, they don't know anything about God, but they know how to appeal to the world. Buddy, they'd have bubble gum and bicycles and snakes and the zoo down there, everything you can think of to get them in. But if you ask that same person, how many of you prayed into the church, you'd have to say zero. See, the reality of it is this. Watch this. Without me, ye can do nothing. Without me, ye can do nothing. Without me, ye can do nothing. Do you realize where our dependency sits? In Christ, not us. It's not in me, it's not in you, it's in Him. That's the difference. Listen, the people we worked with behind the Iron Curtain, they had nothing. But man, they had a prayer life. How did they get it done? They dirtied their knees. That's how they got it done. They understood that there was a God in heaven that could hear and answer prayer. And what we need in service, we need to make a choice, either God or mammon. What we need in service is people that's willing to die to self. And what we need in service is a reality of understanding our inability, but it's Christ's ability to get the job done. Romans 1.9, you must be a praying person. Look at these two verses, Romans 1.9 and 2 Timothy 1.3. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers. 2 Timothy 1.3, I thank God whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day. I don't know about you, but people lie a lot. You go to a funeral, you go to somebody, oh, we'll be praying for you, by the time they hit the door, they've done forgot you. We've turned that statement, I'll pray for you, into just a statement. It's as cold as an ice tube, it has no meaning behind it. Listen, I've only known a few people in my life, if they said they're praying for you, I believed it. The rest of them, I had a question mark over. What about you? If you said that to me, could I take that home tonight? Knowing that that's exactly what you would do. Well, what about it? Y'all guilty? You're guilty, that's why you're quiet. Because that's what you do. One of the ladies that got out of the Soviet Union with her two daughters in there in West Germany where we lived, after they'd been there for about a year or so, she decided to take her kids and go back to the Soviet Union. She said, these freedoms here, this Western culture is destroying my kids. So she took her two daughters and went back to the Soviet Union. Do you know why? Because see, back there, everything revolved around the church. Everything did. Man, the family relations did, the learning how to play an instrument did, all the fellowship did, everything revolved around the church. Boy, in the Western world, it's not that way. We try to get somebody to come to church, let alone everything revolving around the church. We need praying people. How many preachers do you folks know that has a prayer life that you can trust? How many people, are you preachers that are sitting here? Does the people around you consider you to be a praying man? Or you just pray sometimes? Pray a little. What are we known for? Boy, we're good at going through the actions, aren't we? We're good at coming to church and praying and so on. What are you known for? We need men of God that's known for their prayer life. Oh man, we read all the books about men of prayer. First time I ever read about praying hide many years ago, I read that little old booklet and I went and bought every one of them in print and passed them out to everybody. What about you? Listen, prayer's not an option. Prayer's a must. If you're gonna do anything spiritual, powerful, and have God do it, it's gonna be because you've taken that time to put prayer on it. Is prayer a priority in your life? What is it in your life? There's a reality we need. Men of God. Men of God. Paul said, though I be rude in speech. I like that. We don't have to be rude in speech. But if you're gonna preach the word of God like God has it written down, you're gonna be rude sometimes. It's gonna offend lost people. It's gonna offend worldly Christians. It's gonna offend passive preachers. Watch this now. Your service must be between you and God. Turn to the second page of the notes. Colossians 3, 22 to 24. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye service as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God. And whatsoever ye do, do it hardly as to the Lord, not unto men, knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ. Not with eye service as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart fearing God. I've watched a lot of preachers get silenced by some grumpy dude in the pew. I've watched a lot of young preachers get silenced because of some grumpy preacher that didn't like the way the boy preached. We need some men of God They'll preach it whether you like it or not. They're responsible to God. I'm responsible to God, not you. I'm responsible to preach the word of God to you. That's it. Look at this, with singleness of heart, with singleness of heart, I like what one fella said years ago. Somebody asked him, what do you do if you go to church and everybody's looking at you like they want to cut your throat? He said, I'd look over their heads and keep on preaching. I thought, man, that's good advice. My goodness, I had one old gal. That gal was so ugly, could have used her face for weed killer. And buddy, she just soured up and looked there. I tell everybody, the church I'm at right now, when I got there, they're doing the parking lot, putting stripes on the parking lot. I went out there and told them guys, I said, I want two parking spots about that wide. They said, oh, for motorcycles? I said, no, for brooms. I got two broom riders that come to church every Sunday. Well, I'm still there and they're gone. Listen, that's another thing I don't understand. Preachers will tell me, oh, God called me there, God called me there. But when it comes time to leave, somebody wants to run them off, something. They never tell me, well, God told me to leave. No, they just pack up and leave. They get a bad case of poochie lips to delete the disease and run off. God called me somewhere, he called me there for a reason. What's wrong with that? If God called me there, I'm not gonna let somebody else run me off. No, that ain't gonna work. What's wrong with that? Nothing. The reality of it is this. Listen, with singleness of heart, And whatsoever ye do, do highly as to the Lord, not unto men. Why? Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ. Man, serve God. Serve God. Serve God. Hebrews 12, 28, your service must have two major elements. Watch this now. Wherefore, we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. With reverence, with reverence. Everybody say with reverence, say it. With reverence. That's right. You know what's lost in the house of God? Reverence. Reverence is lost in the house of God. Now it's not lost in a Catholic church. Did you know that? You walk into that Catholic church, buddy, there's reverence in there for the things. You walk into a Baptist church, you don't know, you might think you walked into a bar somewhere. Serve God with reference. What's wrong with that? Reference. When you walk into the house of God, teach the children, this is the house of God, it's not your home. Run around at home, but don't you be running around in the house of God. You need your tree. If you're gonna call it the house of God, then treat it like God lives there. Not you. Well, what's wrong with that? Reverence. When's the last time any of you heard the word reverence? Reverence and godly fear. We better reverence God. The men of God better reverence God. And we had better fear God. You know that? All right, let's go down the road here just a little bit. I'm going to put this kind of in your pocket now. Hebrews 12, one to four. We're foreseeing we all so are accomplished about for so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us. The servant of God needs to free himself up. The servant of God has got to free himself up. The servant of God has got to free himself up. Listen, if there's something, if there's a weight, get it off of you. The sin which so easily besets you, whatever it is, get rid of it. Get rid of it. Get rid of it. And let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Man, there's something set before us. Not only is there a high price for low living, there's a high price for faithful living. Watch it now. I'm fixing to tighten the noose. Verse two. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Listen, Jesus endured the cross for you and me. He endured the cross. When he went to the cross, what did he say? It's finished. You know, it's gonna take some endurance to get to the end of some things. Despising the shame. He despised the shame that was happening to him, and we can despise the shame that happens to us. But now watch this. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Most people today are afraid to witness to somebody. And that's a certified fact. Well, on the job, they tell me I can't do it, and they tell me in the school I can't do it, and this person gets mad, and they can't do it, and so on. I want you to know something. We gotta consider Christ lest we be wearied and faint in our minds. Did you used to be a person that was conscious of the souls of the people around you? Did you used to pass out tracks? Did you used to witness to people? Did you used to, listen, if you used to, that means you got weary in your mind and you quit. Christ didn't quit. Now watch this. Why is it that our forefathers paid a huge price? Why is it those people we work with behind the Iron Curtain paid a huge price for their faithfulness? Verse 4, read it. You have not yet resisted unto blood striving against sin. Do you know what that means? A lot of people suffered a whole lot of things at the hands of sinners because they resisted unto blood striving against sin. You see, that's personal. That's you and me. That's us as individuals. You strive against sin, it's going to cost you some blood. You strive against sin, this world's gonna raise up against you. What did Jesus say about that? He said, they persecuted me, they'll persecute you. And since we really don't like that, we don't do anything that would cause that. people we work with behind the Iron Curtain. I watched those people die. I watched those people go to prison. I watched those people do a lot of things. All because they stood for the Lord Jesus Christ. All because they said that's sin. All because they opened their mouth. You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Manly strove against sin. I can remember I can remember 50-something years ago when they decided that alcoholism, you no longer are drunk, it was a disease. And when I first heard that, I thought to myself, these people are crazy. If it's a disease, why don't you go down there and close up the disease shop? Huh? If it's a disease, then why are you selling it on the street? If it's a disease, then why don't you close up all the bars? God didn't say it was a disease. He said no drunkard shall enter the kingdom of heaven. Alcohol's not a disease. It's a sin. That's what it is. We don't need to take the drunk Somewhere, let him get humanly recovered. I've seen a lot of drunks, man, they tried the 10-step program, 12-step program, everything. God's got a one-step program that works really good on every drunk they'd ever got a hold of. You see, your service between you and God This service comes right down to you. This service comes right down to you. Question. God needs, God don't need nothing. God gives you the opportunity to surrender your life to him. You hear me? God don't need a one of us. I don't know about your God, but my God has no need. He can make a jackass talk. We got one in Washington that speaks often. Now listen to me. Do you understand? God don't need you. He gives us opportunity. opportunity to say, here I am, Lord, send me. Here I am, Lord, work on me. Here I am, Lord, change me. Oh God, give me, may the spirit of prayer fall on my life. God, grant me a feeling of the Holy Spirit that my life will change. God, put a hungering and thirsting in me for righteousness. God, stir my heart toward the Word of God. We need God. We need God. That's what we need. God don't need us, we need Him. But the opportunity is this. I went to the mission field and it turned out they were a mission to me. I might have helped them a little bit, but they helped me more. They changed my life because I saw what true, honest, love for God and Christ really was. I saw what true commitment really looked like. I saw, listen, I get some of the prayer meetings with some of those guys when they finish, I didn't want to say nothing. You see, we worked with people that give it all. They died to self. They surrendered self. Now it's down to you. Are you tired of playing the game? You see, let me tell you something, you people that's here in God's work. If I were to go to your church, if I were to go to your family and say, what's he or she known for? What would they tell me? Are you known for your prayer life? Are you known for your preaching? What are you known for? Are you known for a godly life? What are you known for? You see, here in America, we don't even think about like that. Man, we don't think of it. But we need to think of it. Not my will, but thine be done. Not my will, but thine be done. Here I am, Lord, use me. The servants of God need to die to self. Are you willing to die to yourself right here tonight? Are you willing to die to self tonight? How would you like to go to war with a bunch of people that wasn't willing to die for the cause? You couldn't trust them five feet. But you get around a bunch of people that's willing to die if necessary, you can trust them unto death. I don't know about you, I don't know about you, but I do know this. I don't know about you, but I do know this. I don't know about you, but I do know this. And you, I don't know this, but I know this. I'm looking for some men and women that's willing to die to self for the cause of Christ. If you do that, your life will make a difference in everybody around you. But it'll make such a difference in you, you'll not want to change. You'll find a life that's wrought in power, in service. You'll find a life that's wrought with the fellowship of the Spirit of God. You'll find a life that'll bring contentment to you and a cause to you. It'll readjust your priorities. I can't do it for you. Nobody can. It's between you and God. Are you gonna walk out here tonight as the same you walked in? It's time for the people of God to die to self. It's time for the people of God to begin to live for God and Christ with no consideration of self. Let's all stand, if you would, please, as the pastor comes, let's go to the Lord.
