In a third striking summary, Luke concentrates more on the outward impact of the apostolic mission. Their ministry attended and authenticated by signs and wonders, around it there are demonstrations of great unity, great esteem, and great growth. The gospel preached in power creates its typical division between those who are fearful of the purity of the church and those who are drawn to the holy God. Such a church is at once delightful and dangerous.
