It can be anointed but okay Take the gospel of John chapter 14 John chapter 14 John chapter 14 Today, Ruben preached from John chapter, remember anybody? Nine. Yeah. John chapter 14. I'm going to read a section, five on words. I want everybody to look at it. And I have five points to talk about and expect and trust to experience miracles in our lives. And I'm going to read a verse, five on words. Follow with me. John chapter 14 verse 5, Thomas said to him, Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way? Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Philip said, Lord, show us the father and that we will be, that will be enough for us. Verse nine, Jesus answered, don't you know me, Philip? Even after I have been among you such a long time, Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, show us the Father? Don't you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the father living in me who is doing his work. Verse 11, believe me when I say that I am in the father and the father is in me. Or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. very truly I tell you whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the father 13 and 14 I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the father may be glorified in the son You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it. I'm going to read again verse 13 and 14. My friend, do you believe it? Not only you read it, the question is, do you believe in your heart these things? Jesus' words, and I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the father may be glorified in the son. You may ask me for anything in my name. I will do it. Father, very fearfully and reverently we stand in your presence. Thank you for your life transforming word. Speak to our hearts, Lord. We will not only listen, We'll examine our lives. We'll practice this. Oh father, may your name be glorified tonight. That's our cry. That's our prayer. Thank you for the saints gathered today in Jesus mighty name. Everybody said, amen. Please sit down. Thank you. I like to share five things today. Um, you know, the title strengthened by Jesus. Let us trust God for miracles and I believe you are already strengthened or being strengthened by the preaching of God's word yesterday onwards and I want to say thank you for all of your presence Dan, thank you. I did not hear your message yesterday. You talked about the creation. I heard about the dynamic presentation. Thank you, my friend, Pastor Ruben and Evangeline, Jim. I met Jim many years ago. I had the privilege to now find out more about him. Thank you for Kimi. Kimi is here. Kimi, say more. She's gone. and all the other churches representing this conference. Thank you for coming from various places. All the ministries represented. My sister Teresa from Arkansas and we have so many memories of her husband coming to India. So I want to say thank you. So I'm sure we all strengthened by Jesus, by his word. Today, Psalm 119. Jim, thank you for your exposition. I took a video, I sent it to many play people. Look at, here is a man and reciting Ephesians five, six chapters. It's amazing. Can we thank Jim for doing that? How many years practice? 25 years? 20 years? 25 years? So many years. Thank you for your legacy, your parents. It's amazing. And, uh, we read, uh, John chapter 14, by the way, I'm not controlling this slide actually. Okay. Um, we believe, I believe, we believe that God wants his church to operate in the supernatural power of God. Do you believe that? There are churches don't believe in miracles, but they experience miracles every day. Even waking up from our bed, I believe it's a miracle. But many don't believe that it's all ceased. That's all in the times of the apostle. But I tell you, if you limit to God, that's all you get it. You follow me what I'm saying? If you limit to God, that's all you can expect it. But don't limit to God. How much do we know about this great God? little bit. We are learning every day, but don't try to limit this great God with your puny understanding. We believe that God wants his church to operate in the supernatural power of God. The Bible is filled with the stories and accounts of God's miracles. You know it from Genesis to Revelation, all these miracles and the Apostle, the Church of Fathers and all done over the years in the history of the church. Question again, as I asked before, do you believe our God is the same as yesterday, today and forever? Nothing happened to our God. He is same as yesterday, today and forever. He is an unchanging God. We must believe that truth. If you don't have that truth, you don't grasp that, then you have a difficulty in your prayer to ask him big things. And I want to go back a little bit. I'm not going to stay in John chapter 14. I'm not giving an exposition for a passage and I'm going to pick up from various sections, five points I want to present it to you to experience miracles in our lives. And here, John chapter 14. It's a beautiful chapter. There are two sections. Jesus comforting his disciples and chapter 14 verse 1 and Jesus encouraging the disciples. Just look at your word and do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in me. You know that section because the disciples were discouraged and troubled. Jesus knew their heart what's going on and Jesus saying do not be troubled them. What do he say? My father's house has many rooms. And if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare the place for you again? I'm not going to read all that but you get the idea Jesus is comforting his disciples. Then Jesus moving to the next section and saying I am the way the truth and the life talking to Thomas and Philip you see that. So that is the section that I read. Pastor I looked which section I can read about to talk about the miracles. Pastor reached one of our board meeting He gave this devotion from this John chapter 14. You remember pastor? You gave this. So after looking at various passages, I thought this is the best passage. I should take it to address my message today. you got the point when I read it and so Jesus is saying I am the way the truth and the life and he's saying father and me are the same let me read again verse 9 just look at don't you know me Jesus answered verse 9 Philip even after you have been among you I have been among you such a long time you don't know this truth He's asking anyone who has seen me has seen the father. How can you say show us the father? He's asking Philip. Verse 10. Don't you believe that I am in the father and that the father is in me. The words I say to you, I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the father living in me who is doing his work. Who is doing the work through Jesus? The father. Please, you know, this is the way India, you encourage me, you know, India, we say hallelujah, praise the Lord. So Jesus is doing, is working on behalf of the father. He is exercising that authority. Rather it is the father living in me who is doing his work. Believe in me. He said believe me when I say that I am in the father and the father is in me or at least believe. Look at that section. Believe on the evidence of the miracles or evidence of the works themselves. Verse 12, very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me, everybody say whoever, underline, please underline, ladies and gentlemen, whoever believes in me, that is the key. What they will do, whoever believes in me, man or woman. Ah, what will happen? Look at that verse. Somebody can read, read for me, please somebody help me. verse 11, sorry verse 12. Please somebody read for me, verse 12. Thank you, sir. By the way, this is the way India practice. We ask many people to read it so nobody will sleep in the preaching time. Nobody sleeping here. So very truly, very important, very truly, very important, very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing. So think about it. Whoever believes in me will do the things that I've been doing. What are the things Jesus has been doing while he was on the earth? Think about it. And do the works I've been doing and they will do even? Underline, double underline. Do you believe it? There are sections in the Christianity don't believe all these things. That's only Jesus. Become powerless, helpless. You know, recently we had a number of friends came, 17 people came from the States. And the graduation time, graduation's on Saturday. Friday, we had the feet washing service. And all these graduates line up and we wash the feet. And after that, we had the church-based theological training. They don't go through the residential program. There were a number of people came from the villages. They went through one-year program. one lady we were washing the feet and demon possession and you know she was demon possessed and the demon made such a show there and she was like a like a serpent such a force going around and so many men men of us tried to control so powerful and all these American people were scared and they said we don't know what to do you guys are you have experience we don't know pastor came from Alabama Montgomery Alabama and they were all scared they don't know what to do And again, we go through this kind of experience. One time, Mouni was with me, I believe, and I was preaching at a village many, many years ago, and fully possessed by a demon, so powerful, I asked him in the name of Jesus to leave. He won't leave it, and he spit blood on me. Still, I remember that experience. So you have that kind of darkness in many places. And so here, And John is writing in Jesus words. He's saying, you will do even greater things than this because I am going to the father. And verse 13, and I will do whatever you ask in my name. You ask things that to honor him, glorify him. And that is very important. Verse 13. Can we read it together? Verse 13. Everybody. One, two, three. Verse 13. And I will do whatever you ask in my name so that, what is the purpose? So that through this miracles, through this, so that the father may be glorified in the son. Do you have the courage to ask anything in the name of the father? In the name of Jesus? Do you have the courage to ask anything in the name of Jesus for his glory? I'm going to share a few stories very soon. You may ask me for anything in my name, I will do it. I want to look at five important truths I like to share with you. Number one, in order to experience miracles in our lives, we need to have an abiding relationship with Jesus. a growing relationship. We must know Christ. We must have a growing, exciting love relationship with our Lord. If you are dry in Christ, you don't have the courage, the power, you are powerless. And do you read the Bible? Do you pray? These are basic questions I'm asking to Christians. Do you read the Bible regularly? Do you pray? Do you have the power of God in your life? I'm asking to myself, okay? I was reading a few days ago a book. What happened, the reason for the expansion of Islam in the Roman world, in that part of the world. Islam Came Just After Christianity, Isn'T It? How Many Years After Christianity? 600 And that writer was talking why Islam spread very quickly. The argument he was talking, Islam capitalized the spiritual darkness, the spiritual complacency of the church early days. They all capitalized the spiritual vacuum. in the Christianity and that can happen for us today. Other religions are coming and finding America is a great ground, great land for our religion. Islam is growing. Hinduism is growing. Hinduism has a temples every part of the world or more than 2000 temples. They think it is a great land. People are interested. People are tired of Christianity. You know, when I travel in India, I see so many people. I said, why are you here? I came to see my guru. Thousands are coming. You saw recently the Kumbh Mela festival. 400 million people. That's what I number I hear. 400 million people came to take a dip in the river Ganges. 400 million. You can look at Kumbh Mela festival. Who were they? Mainly they came from the West. And the Apple founder, what is his name? Steve Jobs' wife and her own flight. And she came with a group of people and all from America, came from all parts of the world, Europe, Australia. They're coming to see their guru. Originally their fathers and grandfathers were ministers. They are Christians, but they're tired of Christianity. So I want all of you to be serious about Christ. Brothers and sisters, I want you to think about your faith you have. This is not a dead faith. Do you believe you are Jesus? Your Savior is alive. We can sing Sunday morning. We can come to the church. Today many are not even, I'm not blaming, just believe. People are even not interested to bring Bible. We need to, as Zacchaeus was showing his 40 year old Bible, I was thankful. Maybe the immigrants have, you know, that background because God blessed us by taking this Bible. We were kicked out of the home. We had only this Bible. This Bible blessed us. We value it. But you are third generation, fourth generation, fifth generation. And this is all okay. You're not that excited. But people like Ruben and I will tell you we were hopeless one time. But this gospel, we carried this black Bible. This blessed us. Do you believe? Do you read the Bible? Do you pray? Do you have family prayer in your home? Church, you know, the faith starts in the home, not in the church. Don't just blame the church for everything. It must start in your home. Do you believe what I am saying? That's what Jesus is asking. So I want to share this five significant truths. Number one, abiding relationship with Jesus, growing relationship. John chapter 15. I'm going to take you to John chapter 15. We know that passage. The wine and the branches, that relationship. But remember this section, verse five. Please look at your Bible. John chapter 15. I am the wine, verse 5. I am the wine, you are the branches. If you remain in me or abide in me and I in you, you will bear what? What is God's desire, my friends? Little fruit or much fruit? Much fruit. Don't just live as an ordinary Christian. Be an extraordinary Christian. God called us to you to bear much fruit. Jesus paid the price to purchase us with his own blood. He gave his life not to live an easy Christian life. If you are going to live that easy Christian life, what will happen to your generation? What will happen to your descendants? Thank God for Zacchaeus and for children and I asked Zacchaeus today and what about all your children? They're all following the Lord. They're all here in Rock Spring and 20 grandchildren. My prayer for all of you. I want your children, grandchildren follow this God, this Bible. They should not go after idols, gurus. These are all total liars. They are hypocritical people. You closely work with them. You understand what's going on. This is the true word of God. Jesus is the one who died for you, resurrected. We just celebrated Easter. What is the message? He's alive. The tomb is empty. This is... A great news, good news to share boldly with your families, your friends, your children, grandchildren. And let's continue that bear much fruit apart from me, you can do nothing. You know the section. If you do not remind in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remind in me and my words remind in you, ask whatever you wish. Do you see that in the Bible? Ask whatever you wish. I will tell you stories. Pastor Rich is part of our lives. Ask whatever you wish for his glory and it will be done for you. Do you believe these things? We have difficulty. So much of theology sometimes. Theology is wonderful. Doctrine is important. If you don't have the doctrine, you don't know Christ. As somebody said, if you don't believe in doctrine, you don't know Jesus. You have no relation with Jesus. This is to my father's glory that you bear. John again says one more time, you bear much fruit showing yourself to be my disciples. When you bear much fruit, what are the fruits we're talking? Forgiveness, love, compassion. When you bear these fruits, people know this dark world. You are indeed his disciples. You belong to Jesus. That is what you are communicating when you bear much fruit. Examine. Thank you for coming. Young people are my passion. You saw the video. I live for young people. Young people are my passion. I cannot go everywhere. I can love them, hug them. I can tell them God has a great plan for you. Go. I will pray for you. They are making huge impact all over India. Thank you for coming. Sakhi has grandchildren. Thank you. Thank you for coming. You are the future of America. You are the future of Roxbury. God's plan for you to bear much fruit, not just an ordinary life. You are not here just to waste the space. You are here for a purpose, a God given purpose. If you believe in heaven, there is one day you will stand before God. You have to give an account to God. So my point is in order to experience miracle, I want you today, I'm going to give an altar call. I'm going to ask, I'm asking, I'm praying that I'm asking God to do miracles in your lives. All of us need one way or another way, miracles. I'm going to give an opportunity and I want you to stand when I give that opportunity by faith. experience miracle, whatever, whether for your salvation of your children or grandchildren or financial, whatever, marriage, whatever, we can pray to God. We can ask God for miracles. The second thing I want to talk about faith and trust in God. Faith and trust in God. Today Ruben talked about Immediate faith, obedience, faith, obedience of that blind man. We'll talk about that. I was so touched by that section. I was meditating this afternoon about what he shared, faith and trust in God. My friend, these promises, you know, you don't need anything from your parents. You don't need to argue and fight with them anything, any material things. If you have this word, you have everything. Peter, Peter who denied Jesus when he matured, when he became older in his leadership in ministry. Look at what he said, 2nd Peter, please look at the 2nd Peter. I want you to open your Bible and 2nd Peter, 2nd Peter verse chapter 1, chapter 1, 2nd Peter verse 3. and you can underline as you look at young people please underline his divine power do you see 2nd Peter chapter 1 verse 3 do you see that his divine power has given us everything everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness for our godly life for our whatever we need in this world everything this divine power has given us now verse 4 through these he has given us his very great and precious promises God has given us great and precious promises through what happens, look at, saw that through them, through these promises, Psalm 119, today Jim talked about it, this word, keep it, keep it, it will protect you. So many things he talked about, about the importance of word. Unfortunately, America becoming more and more illiterate, biblically illiterate. Many times I asked young people just to understand. Do you know the book of Job? He has no idea. Born in America, Christian home, you have Bible colleges, you have TV stations, you have everything. Do you know, you don't know where Job is a book in the Bible. We become more and more biblically illiterate. Ladies and gentlemen, meditate, read God's word, meditate God's word. Let parents, I know you read it. This is a Bible centered church, I know. But let your children see, grandchildren see, you love this word. What they see, they will not forget through these great and very precious promises so that through them you may participate in the divine nature. If you want to be holy, if you want to participate in the divine nature, to be godly, these precious promises you need to read and apply in your lives. having escaped the corruption in the world caused by the evil desires. If you want to be godly, if you want to participate in the divine nature and escape from the corrupt world caused by the evil desires, these precious promises, we must chew it. We must meditate it. Great and precious promises. My friend, do we have faith and trust in God? God can do miracles. And I'm not following this. This story, I want to talk about Jane and Dan. Jane and Dan, they're my friends. We were together at Trinity. Dan came to India recently. Both of them are aeronautic engineers, amazing people. They worked with Loki Martin for many years. Now they are in Oklahoma. I have been inviting him to come to India. He came, he was so moved. And she shared her story. And some of the Indian ladies said, sir, thank you for bringing these, especially two ladies. And they touched our lives, especially the ladies went through a lot of problems in their lives. And Jan was the fourth stage of cancer. Breast cancer, fourth stage. Doctor gave only three months. She had small kids, three kids. And she cried to God. She believed in miracle. She said, here is a, I'm a witness of miracle. 20 years passed now. And it was God's plan that one day she will come to India and testify for him, glorify him. You may ask it the other way. Other way you ask, there are other cases, not God did not heal it. I don't know. I cannot say that. I have, I'm not God. I cannot answer that. But we have, we have an opportunity. We are called to pray for miracles and experience, expect miracles. God healed Jan and she came to India and testified. And another lady, Moni and I know very well Elsie had a pancreas cancer from Catholic background came to Christ got a gold medal award from the president of India. She came to born-again experience and Pancreas cancer pancreas cancer as in a very dangerous hardly few months Small two kids. She said she cried it to God. Most of her parts were taken out and she's Now she goes around and tell her story. She said God I have small two kids. If you give me a chance to live, I will go all over the world. I will share my testimony. And her husband works for American Airlines that helped to travel all over the world. They came to Nagpur. They shared the story. They live now at the border of Mexico. They want to go do ministry in Mexico. I don't know exactly. They moved from Chicago and living in the border of Mexico to go and share the gospel. They are going all over the world. God did a miracle for her. And I put this picture here. Many of you know my story. I come from a family of eight children. I was born as the firstborn. When I was growing up, I asked you why I was born as the firstborn. Why I did not born in that home? Why I was born in this home? I'm not going to talk about all my story. I came to Christ in the university. I wanted to know God, but I didn't know how to know. University I met Christ and my father found out of this newfound faith after my baptism came to my dad he came to my room my dormitory and picked me three four kilometers we walked every step I will get a beating and push me down I get up and walk and hit me everywhere I came home my dad I was very angry. My mother was crying. My siblings all crying. Neighbors were watching from their home and my hands were tied and legs were tied like a sheep in dense beating. And around 4.30, dad looked at my face. He said, you destroyed this home. Who will marry my daughters? You have no right to push me out of the home. I was 20 years old. I walked out of the home. I looked at my crying mother, my siblings. I will never forget it. My parents passed away, but I will never forget that, that their faces, especially my mother. As I was walking out of the home, Brian, I think I heard the voice of my heavenly father. Even if your father or mother leave you or forsake you, I will never forsake you. But it is in the Bible. That time I did not know. He's Immanuel. Even if your father or mother leave you or forsake you, I will never forsake you because you are created by God. You are not an accident in this world. You came by the power of God, by the plan of God. Therefore, He cannot reject you. Do you feel rejection? Anyone here feel rejection today? The Holy Spirit is speaking to you. Your heavenly father, the one who created in your mother's womb beautifully. He's speaking to you. He's saying, I will not forsake you. I will not reject you. Come to this father. Come to this father. Oh, this father. We must respect our earthly fathers and mothers. Obey your father and mother. It's a good thing for you. But there is a Father who created you, is greater than, bigger than, better than our earthly parents. Thank you, Pastor. What my elder brother, Pastor, caring. Thank you so much. And so I was out. I couldn't grab much cloth. And so I went back to the pastors who shared the gospel. They were living in a small room. That morning I prayed. I didn't get much cloth or anything. I prayed simple prayer. First day I was kicked out. Lord, I need a new shirt. Much simple prayer. America, you don't need to pray. You have money, you go to Walmart. or other cloth places. I didn't have anything those days. I just prayed. I heard about this great God. I simply believed it. Like the blind man, he didn't think about much. He couldn't answer much theology, but he just believed on this Jesus. And I said, prayed, I need a shirt. Evening one man brought a shirt. Who told him that I need a shirt? Who told that man I need a shirt? God knows it, my friends. God knows nothing is impossible. Who is this sovereign God? He created everything. Do you know Him? Do you know Him? Do you know Him? Going to church, you can say I'm a Christian, but I'm asking, do you know this Christ who died for you loves you so much? He understands everything going through in your life. He knows everything, what you need, even a small shirt, he knows it. And from my village, I went to Trivandrum for my studies, for my masters. And so God gave me one day a vision to go back to my community. My dad said never come back. I don't want to go back to my house. But God said, go back to your community and be a witness. So I went to a distant uncle's house. He was so kind. He opened. I wanted to do an evangelistic meetings. I invite a lot of people in that community. I invited a preacher from Trivandrum and open place in front of the house. And we just started singing evening, heavy rain poured. A lot of people are watching here. People are sitting on the floor singing heavy rain. I just prayed their simple prayer. It is in my book. I talk about it. I said, prayed simple prayer, Jesus, just to stop here. That was my simple prayer, just to stop the rain here. No rain around that house. I mean, God did that. To bless me, to encourage my faith. I mean, my friend, all this happening in the ministry, not because some Americans gave me some money. There's a story behind it. There's a preparation. Like Moses can tell the story. There is a preparation. The way God has guided me to get to know Him. What are my simple things? I prayed it to God. Faith and trust in God. Few more things I want to talk about there. I talked about my parents, whole family. Many of you don't know my story. Some of the early church members, you know my story. Look at, we all talk about the miracle of salvation. God did it. I was kicked out of the home. Dad said never come back. You look at all my family, all the brothers and sisters came to the Lord. Today, I cried to God, God, they can go and work in a company, make money. They are educated, but God called everyone. I prayed, God called everyone to serve the Lord. Today, most of us are missionaries serving Christ in various places of India. Two in South India, three in Central India, one in the Nepal border, one in Wisconsin. Why I said that? I told God every day, God, I will not be satisfied until you bring everybody to the faith. My prayer every day, morning and evening, I'm happy God, but I will not be fully satisfied until you bring everybody to the faith. Eight years, I prayed that prayer. Mother came, my sister came, my mother was mental patient, my sister was demon possessed. And so much darkness in the home, God healed everybody. God healed everyone. Not only we found the peace, we were blind. Now we can see, but also he called us to serve the Lord. That's an amazing thing to be an ambassador of Christ, to be a witness for him, to serve him in various places. Nothing is impossible. What God did for me, he can do for you, my brother. Do you cry every day, fast and pray for your grandparents, your grandchildren, your children, your family members who will cry for them? No, pastor will pray official prayer. They are all do the official, but you are the one to cry for your children. Every day cry. God will bring them back to himself. I hope I'm encouraging you, challenging you. Sometimes it can be painful. In America, material blessings and disbelief and disobedience are major hindrances to miracles. Material blessings. Because all of our students, you come to our seminary, 300 students, I believe 90% of the people come from Hindu background or Buddhist background. You ask them, why did you come to Christ? Because they experienced a miracle in their lives. Miracle in the family, God healed the father or mother. Some missionary came and introduced Christ. Everyone. has a story. But in our country, in here, we are blessed, material blessing. You can charge on your credit card if you have need. If you are sick, you have insurance, you immediately you rush it to your hospital. You are not waiting. That's not the opportunity for everybody. They fast and pray. They pray. They call the pastor, put the oil and anoint and pray. Sometime material blessings. Material blessings are important. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you, God. Blessing America. Dollar has more, your dollar has more value. $1 is equivalent to 80 rupee in India. When you give $1 or $2, I can buy a Bible. $5, I can buy a Bible in India. Thank God for the material blessing. That's why everybody want to come to America, whether you cross the southern border or anywhere. Everybody want to come to America because of the blessing. They're not coming for God. They're not coming to seek the American God, Christian God. They're coming for material blessing. But don't forget to the one who blessed you. This is the land of immigrants. The early immigrants came by faith. They cut down the trees. They died in difficult weather here. They dreamed big dreams for you, for your children. That's why Costco and Walmart came. You go into Sam Walton's place in Arkansas, you see the story of a small shop. Sam and his wife started, but they dreamed big dreams for America. That's the way. We are blessed. But don't forget our history. Be grateful to God. When you walk into Walmart, thank you Jesus for this blessing. Sometimes our young people complain. We complain. You have no right to complain in America. You have no right. Some people are running for water 2-3 kilometers. You have water, hot water or cold water in your kitchen. Turn right, cold or hot water, everything in you. Don't complain. If you are poor, you are lazy. Hey, because you may not like that. You may not like it what I say. Hey, you can come, Africans or Indians or Pakistanis come with the $20. They accomplish great things. They buy the Dunkin Donuts or all those mortals. How did it happen? They work hard. If they can come with $20 accomplished, you can do it. But sometimes you are lazy or you don't take that seriously. Please forgive me for sharing some of these things. Don't forget the blessings we have. Don't complain. You will not be blessed. So material blessing, disbelief, disobedience are major hindrances for spiritual to experience miracles. And blind man's faith obedience. You remember today Ruben talked about John 9. What did Jesus say to him after taking saliva and mud and putting on his eyes? What did he say? What did Jesus say? Go and watch. Did he obey? Immediately he obeyed. That kind of faith obedience is God is requiring from us. When Jesus says to you, go and do it. Otherwise, you miss God's blessing, my friends. If you tried to examine everything, you tried to examine all this, what God is saying, you miss many things. You miss many God's blessings. Beloved, go and do. What Jesus asking us to do it. Peter walked on the water. That's fascinating. Matthew chapter 14. I have no time to read that passage. So beautiful. 12 disciples with him. How many people walked on the water? Only one. What happened? Jesus said, walk, walk on the water. Come, come over. 11 didn't believe it. There is only one guy walked on the water. Are you willing to take a risk? My question, do you believe in God? Do you believe that this God did miracles? Do you believe this God did miracles he can do for you? Will you act on his word? Don't miss God. God has great plans for you, my sister. God wanted to use you for greater things, bigger things. But do you believe? Do you respond to him by faith? God is looking for Billy Graham's and Wesley's and all in our generation. You are the one in this generation. These were men and women obey to God. They are trusted in God. Don't get tired of Christianity. America people are getting tired of Christianity. They seem excited for other religions. Third thing, pastor said to preach two hours the Indian way. I know you, I know you will get angry. I will stop very quickly. Point number three, to experience miracles, we must ask big things, ask impossible things, asking the impossible. Asking the impossible. You remember Ephesians, Jim, could you read for me? You read Ephesians chapter three, 2021. Can you read it? Ephesians, without even that, Ephesians 3, 2021. Thank you. There are a number of things I see in that passage. He is able. Paul is presenting a great God. Is he presenting a small God or a great God? He is presenting a great God. I see that in that passage. It's a great God. Then he said, ask him, ask or dream or imagine. What are you dreaming for God these days, beloved? Sorry for coming to you and looking at you. I love you guys. What are you dreaming these days? What are you dreaming big things? What are you asking God big things? You may be asking a big car, maybe a beautiful girlfriend. I'm not against it, PJ. I am not against, but the Holy Spirit is asking, what are you asking to me big things? God want to use you. What are you asking? He's able to do more than you ask. The third thing I see, you must ask, you have to dream. Listen, my friends, you dream, you ask him, it will happen. It will happen one day. That's a story of America. Story of D.L. Moody came from Massachusetts, came to Chicago, gathered some children. But he had a great dream, that man. He went around and preached Christ. He once started a college. Look at the Moody Institute, the influence. He is a Moody graduate. Do you know when? All over the world, what an influence a man, people questioned about his English. His English, he doesn't have a good grammar. People complained about it. How God used him. So, Zacchaeus' grandchildren. You can speak good English. Look at your daddy, beautiful English, better than your grandpa. He challenged to raise a lot of money today. But listen, you can speak better English than him. You know American culture. You must do great things. You must be thankful to God. God brought you for a great plan. I tell my daughter, God has brought us for a great purpose, for his glory to continue the history of the Christian church in America. Then another point there, there's a power. What kind of power? Read again. According to the Holy Spirit power is where? Do you believe that my friends? The Holy Spirit power, the divine power, the creative power of God is in us. Then how can you be just, you know, living like a hopeless Christian? Why do you forget that? If you want to achieve great things, you must believe this. We don't, Pastor Richard, ask a dream budget, actual budget. Isn't it, Pastor? We have a big dream. We have no, we have a dream budget. God, you're able to do it. If you do it, we will do these kinds of things. We have a dream budget in our ministry. We always fight. American board members, they want to see where you are going to get it. If you ask me, I don't know. That is not the way my story started. That's not the way my life. We believe it. If God doesn't do it, don't do it. But if we ask, you ask for His glory. Our Nagpur campus, with all humility I say this. A couple of things I want to share here. I will close as much as possible. This story. Nagpur is the RSS headquarter, the Hindu fanatics headquarter. That's where God sent me 31 years ago. I have no money, nothing. I didn't know where I will sleep. I have no sponsor, nothing. God said, go to Nagpur. I obeyed it because I didn't have any problem because I was kicked out of the home. God provide everything. One more thing I want to tell. After me, I have a sister, Lissy, second child in the family. Dad was very mad when I got married. India, if you have an older daughter, I mean a daughter, sister, or ready for marriage, you make sure she get married off, then you marry. So Moni and I got married. Then my sister, my dad was so mad. And he said, you destroyed my home. So my sister's marriage was on me. I didn't have any money. I claimed a Bible verse every day. Number of times I claimed one Bible verse from Psalms. And the young lions may be weak and hungry, but those who trust in the Lord do not lack any good thing. You remember that? I don't know, God gave me that verse. Young lions may be weak and hungry, but those who trust in the Lord do not lack any good thing. I claimed it. God did miracles. If young lions take care of the babies, I mean, young lions are taking care of the parents. How much more God care about? He will take care of us. These are great and precious promises. God sent me here. I asked God five years, 30 acre piece of land, 30 acre piece of land. No money, nothing. And I need two more acres. because water, there was a well. We needed that well to provide water for this campus. And Pastor Rich was there. I put a picture, I didn't get time to do this. Look at, Pastor Rich was there. I couldn't, you see that? Oh, oh, I changed it. You see this? This young, handsome Pastor Rich Carlson. You see that? Can you see it? I don't know. I'm sorry. I forgot to put it. Pastor prayed for a miracle. That two acres we must have. The owner won't sell it. And he was not ready to sell it. But today, he was there. He knelt down. He cried on that land. And we prayed and we got the land. We have a dairy farm, beautiful well, providing water for that area. Is God able to do miracles for us? Do you trust in him to experience Miracle Now, one of the beautiful campuses? And we have a seminary, hospital, orphanage there. We had a boys orphanage. The government shut down that. Community college teaching job skills, a school teaching in English medium. Now, the story of this girl, beautiful girl, I want to just share that with you. Sayali. I cannot read from there. She promised second-year Bachelor of Theology student. She later on finished her Bachelor of Theology three-year program. She had lost both her parents during her childhood. She was recently diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disorder, and her platelet count, white blood cells, and hemoglobin levels had dropped drastically. After three months of treatment with no improvement, doctors recommended a bone marrow test. Poor girl, no money. So doctors stated that a bone marrow transplant was the only option, mistaking Sayali for a bystander. They explained that the donor would need to be a parent or sibling. The doctors were stunned to learn that she was the patient, especially since she had walked into the room unaided. They had expected someone in her condition to be in a wheelchair. They commended her courage and remarked that the fact she was still alive was proof that her life was precious. Sayali responded with the faith declaring that the Lord had healed her. No money for a bone marrow, but she claimed that God is going to heal her and she believed that God healed her and she is now married. She is living somewhere near Pune. That's what we heard recently. Is God able to do miracles? Let me move on very quickly, a few more minutes. Fourth point, exercise the authority given. God has given the authority to us. There are a few passages, Jim, I want you to look at Luke chapter 9, Mark, same thing, we don't have time to read it, Luke chapter. gave authority to his followers to cast out demons as well as healing the sick and raising the dead. We must believe God has given the authority. Would you read it, Jim? Luke 9, 1-2. So God has given this authority to you. Do you believe this is only for the previous generation, first early Christians or not for us? And God has given the authority. Everybody, if you are a believer, if you are a child of God, we are born again. You are washed by the blood of Jesus. If an abiding relationship, this authority is in you. God has given authority. When you go to school and college, there are young people going through a lot of problems. There is power in your hand. There's authority. Just lay hands on that person just to pray in the name of Jesus. Heal my friend. You have authority. Don't wait for the pastor. God has given the authority. Do you believe that? That's what the Bible says, I have given authority to do these great things. Jesus said those who believe in me will do greater things than these. Amen. Let me rush quickly without taking much time. Luke 10 19 part of Jesus teaching to the 70 promises that believers have been given authority over the enemy including the power to trample on serpents and scorpions and nothing will harm them. And a few days ago, Moni and I went to hear this pastor in Chicago. He's pastoring an Indian church in Atlanta. He was, he grew up in North India, north of Nagpur in Madhya Pradesh. And he said two powerful story, and maybe that story to encourage me, because I've been asking God to give me ideas and all for my sermon. And he said, and he died, was a baby in the hospital, he died. I don't know whether you can read. In the hands of his mother, he died. Mother cried and prayed, Lord, if you give me, give this son back, I will dedicate him to be an achan, to be a priest. That's what her prayer. He said, and within a few minutes, he sneezed and came alive. American. And he's a powerful speaker. He's running a church of 400, 500 people. And now a second thing he said, when he was in sixth grade class, he lost eyesight, a rare disease, he said. And three years, he had only oral examination exam, he did it. And he had a glass 12.5 plus, that glass power. And one visiting pastor from Delhi, he was at the meeting. He had this glass, he's wearing. And one visiting pastor from Delhi came and he looked at him and he said, you are called to preach to the blind. You are wearing this glass, throw it away. And this boy just obeyed the pastor. He didn't have that kind of faith. He's a small young man in the church. He threw it off and he said immediately he got his eyesight back. Is God able to do miracle today for us? Here in Rock Spring, my friends, not only in Atlanta, not only in India, here in Rock Springs. I thank God for Pastor Rich and you believe that God is still able to do miracles. You are not closing Him. Thank you for that. Then you experience more and more miracles. Finally, the goal is to glorify God. When we experience Miracles, we give all glory to Him. And now the miracles when it happens, it glorifies God. Let me give very quick points. Miracles glorify God by confirming the truth of His message and the trustworthiness of His messengers. John chapter 20, 30 to 31, Ruben yesterday read it. There are so many miracles, Jesus did so many signs and things, but these signs are recorded so that you will know He is the Son of God. He came to give us eternal life. So these miracles confirm the truth of his message. Second, people are turning to Christ. That's our story in India. Because of these miracles, families, villages are coming to Christ. One family experienced the miracle. One person, the whole family members, father, grandfather, everybody. Then all the cousins in the village, everybody come to Christ. People are turning to Christ, revealing God's glory. revealing God's glory, miracles providing glimpses into God's character and power, highlighting his authority over nature, demons, disease, even death. Confirming God's truth, miracles serve as power, evidence that God's word is true and that his messengers are trustworthy. Signs of the kingdom, miracles offer a foretaste of God's kingdom where healing, wholeness and freedom are complete. And Power and authority. Miracles demonstrate God's ability to do what is impossible. Redemptive purpose. Miracles are often intertwined with God's redemptive plans and His covenantal relationship with humanity. And I want to close here with this story, simple story of this young man. Let me see here. I don't use many slides back in India. I just preach. That Kamble, a B.T.A. second year student, is married to Preeti with three kids. He belonged to a traditional Hindu family from Pune, Maharashtra. After doing a diploma in engineering, he worked in Dubai for six years. In 2019, he fell sick and fainted often and other restrictions. Next 18 months, he struggled severely. And I got this story, I didn't even edit it, just put in the PowerPoint. Sometimes when he is on a video call with his wife and kids, he used to collapse. They all were terrified seeing his condition. Once he thought he was going to die. His friend who was a catholic told him, anyway you are going to die. You serve your gods for 30 years. Now why don't you try praying to Jesus, to the almighty God. Datta was desperate and he agreed to go with him to the church. In the church, he found himself whispering just one thing. God is whispering, help me. He whispered to God, help me, God, to go back and see my wife and kids. One day he heard a voice, while working, go, your faith had healed you. He was surprised and he didn't know what to expect. He was completely healed. He was curious to know about this new found faith with determination. with the determination to learn about this God and serve him, he returned home. His wife and kids were more happy to see him healed. However, both their families disowned them. Then because of this and because accepting Christianity, that's a big problem, disowned him. He began spending time in prayer and the Lord literally guided him to our seminary. Datta is growing very strong in his faith and his vision to witness Jesus who gave him a second life. He is reaching the unreached and planting churches. He is winning many non-Christians and the truth is affirmed through miracles. This evening and you gave me the permission to share God's word. I shared that we must trust in God to experience miracles. There are five things I shared with you. Number one, to experience, you must have an abiding relationship, growing relationship with Christ. Number two, faith. Are you with me? trust and faith in God. Third one, ask the impossible. We must ask. Fourth, exercise the authority. That's very important. Exercise the authority God gave it to you. Leave this place today knowing who you are. God has given this authority, not only to the disciples, to you, to you believers here in Rock Spring. Finally, this glorifies God. not to glorify you. There are so many preachers, evangelists glorify themselves by doing this kind of miracle. That's why many people have difficulty to believe, difficulty for this miracle part in our churches because many people abuse it. But that is not the truth in the word of God. We will give all glory to him. We pray for people. Thank you, Jesus. And may your name be glorified. Would you stand with me? Thank you for giving me your time.
