In intention, Jesus Christ said, you. What did the old World War II poster say? It said, don't ask what your country can do for you, what can you do for your country? Jesus Christ has a desire for you. When he said he's speaking to the Gentiles, that was meant to be passed down through generations unto you. This is not an old and outdated book. He was preaching to Jordan Price, he was preaching to Taylor, he was preaching to Duane, and he was even preaching to Michael Connor. If you cannot read yourself into this scripture, there's something wrong with you. I had somebody tell me not long ago I didn't go down front because I've already been saved. You reckon that matters? I promise you I need His grace each and every day. I have to seek Him each and every day. I have to desire Him each and every day. You know why? Because I sinned 14 times before I got up out of the bed and one of those sins was not getting up out of the bed. Trust me, I like to sleep. You work as much as I do, you probably like to sleep too, but I like to sleep. Sloth-like, I'm lazy. You know what's rough about it? I can admit it, okay? I told y'all this the other night, I believe so. Look, when I was drinking hot and heavy, I pursued alcohol. I pursued the bar life. But I also pursued to have a life with my wife and my children. And when I figured out that I was gonna lose them, because of my decisions. And God came knocking on my door. I had a seminary professor tell me one time, he said, you southern folk tickle me to death because you say that God called you to preach. I said, how did you hear him? With your ears? I said, no sir, I heard him with something a whole lot more prominent than my ears. I heard him right here. He told me that I was going to live for him or he was going to take me out of here. I'm preaching to a bunch of Christians tonight. I hope you know that. A bunch of saved people. I tell Riverside this all the time, you're no better than them. You cannot lose your salvation. But you decide you're not going to follow the will of God. You decide you're going to live vicariously because you got in. You can't lose it, but you can call somebody else not to get it. Somebody is basing their interpretation of Jesus Christ because of what you are living out in front of them. And it's not just little children. Most of the time it's the men you work with. Most of the time it's the people watching that you don't even see. We have to preach it, we can't talk about it, we gotta be about it. And most of the time it's when you're in the lowest point of your life that somebody's watching you. Somebody's wondering how a man with faith deals with something. But if we would zoom out and think about everybody else that's watching what we got going on, we might would understand that, consider this now, my servant Job wasn't just something he was asking the devil. Why did he choose Job? Because he knew Job wasn't gonna break. He seen the other side of that. We're not preaching that right now. You, Jesus has got something for you. If you'll seek him, if you'll earnestly desire to have a relationship with him. I reverted it back to marriage. If you didn't earnestly have a desire to be in a relationship with your wife, you wouldn't have never got down on one day and asked her to marry you. If you did, I don't know why you did it. There is nobody in this room that was promised to somebody. It may be Anna Reed that's sitting over here. She might have been a product of a put-together wedding. But nobody else was, okay? You have to understand the back story there to understand that. Listen, nobody bought anybody tonight. So this means that you voluntarily went somewhere and met somebody If we wouldn't tolerate it in our marriages, why do we tolerate it with Jesus? Why would Jesus tolerate us if we're not gonna pursue him like I would my wife? I'm gonna tell you a little secret about pursuing your wife, something I had to learn the hard way. If you don't pursue your wife, somebody else will. If you're not pursuing, if you're not dating your wife, somebody else has plans to. And someday, It's like Daddy spoke, it's like Joel McIntyre spoke, it's like Jennifer Streep spoke. When you're dealing with Jesus, so there's always these second chances, but there is a certain point we call being turned over to a reprobate mind. When you flirt with that line for so long, there's a certain point where you might get past it. And I couldn't think of the day. I couldn't imagine the day. Because I love him so much. I'm telling you, I'm not trying to brag on myself, but I love Jesus enough to know that I am not enough for him. I am not, I sin, I fall short, I fail each and every day. You have five kids, you might would too. Two or three was good, when we got four and five, I understood that there's certain things that I can't do. And that's raised four girls and one boy. Yeah, you talk about poetic justice, Jesus took a womanizer and gave him four daughters. That's real good, ain't it? But you have to have a desire to see. the things of Jesus Christ. We got past the first two words there. But seek ye first the kingdom of God. What is the kingdom of God? Somewhere where I've been longing to go since the day I received salvation. I don't know about you. Now, to seek implies an act of pursuit, a deliberate effort to find and embrace something of value. The kingdom of God represents his reign and authority over our lives. See, it's not just about getting to heaven. That is such a beautiful aftermath of what we've got going on. I will tell you the problem of modern day Christianity is we've been preached to our whole lives about it's heaven or it's hell. And that is so true. Hell is hot and heaven is real. But do you understand that this is about what we live in today? It's not an insurance policy to me people. We're going to get out of here one day and I know exactly where I'm going and I can't wait to get there. But it's about what we do here. If we treated it like my grandfather did for all these years where I know Jesus but I don't want to socialize with church folk and I get that, I don't either. But the thing about that is When we don't seek the will of God for our life, when we don't do the will of God for our life, we're worse than an infidel. You've heard it said so many times. We get to repeat ourselves so many times as pastors, and I love it, you know, to believe the word of God and not do it is the exact same thing the devil does. Yeah, he knows more scripture than you. He knows more scripture than me. He's probably studied at every seminary across the nation and taught most of them. You know how I know it's true, because if you'd ever pick up a commentary by Charles Spurgeon or anybody else, there was a study done, and this was in the early 1800s, late 1800s and early 1900s, about how many men were saved preaching in their own pulpit. Ain't that something? Had a man tell me from right over here at Boston Sunshine, he said, he says, you know, Brother Jordan, he said, there's gonna be more people smelling like church pews and hail than they are honky tonks. It's the truth, ain't it? They're gonna be pastors there, too. You know why they're gonna be there? They might have known the law. They might have known what was in this book, but they didn't ever know about what was in their heart. They didn't ever know about something I figured out a long time ago, and that was a relationship. I don't care about any type of man-made religion you got. The Pope just died, and I'm sorry for his family, but guess what? There's another false idol in the grave now. They'll institute another one. They'll put another one up there, but I got something to tell you tonight. I don't care about what kind of laws you can offer me. I don't care about what kind of, you know, Levitical, Mosaic, New Testament law. I don't care about eating clean. I don't care about none of it. You know why? Because Jesus Christ come into my heart and he said, I love you enough to tell you, you got to follow me. He said, get up and come on. We're not worried about all the rest of that stuff. I've told you this before. I had a man tell me, I'm not good enough. You don't know what I've done. I said, you don't know what I've done. They sent in a competition. But I promise you, if you think you was bad, I deserve the same hell as Adolf Hitler, and I'll continue to say it. I love getting the weird looks when I say that. Yeah, you did too. The same hell. I didn't say the same punishment. Same hell, though. We deserve it all. And because a man named Jesus Christ came and died on a cross called Calvary, he took every bit of it. so that we didn't have to. One of the best things I ever read, one of the best studies I ever had in college was the fact that Jesus Christ came so that we didn't have to experience the wrath of God. Think about that. They say that the God of the Old Testament is a different God from the God of the New. He's the same God. But there's a little thing called mercy that's in front of him when he's dealing with others. Now I got news to tell you, and it wouldn't be love if I didn't tell you that one day that mercy's gonna run out. And it's gonna be when that decision's made between heaven and hell. But we know where we're going, don't we? Y'all don't have to come down front and get down on an altar, do you? Because we know where we're going. Y'all go to Morningstar, I know you know the truth. The ones that go to Danieltown, I know know the truth now, too. I didn't know you, Pastor, before Sunday. Now we understand that we're just as worthless as the men that walked in the door that didn't know Jesus at all. It's called a level playing field for a reason. I'm no better than you. I don't like that we built this stage up higher than out there. It really should be lower. Embrace something of value you'd be seeking. The kingdom of God representing His reign and authority over our lives. Yes, it's a spiritual realm where God's will is done. and it's where his love, justice, and peace will prevail, but it's also a spot in your heart where he came in and he said, I'm gonna sup with you, I'm gonna dine with you, and I'm gonna court you until the day I come back. Jesus calls us to prioritize the kingdom of God in our heart and in our life, okay? Again, it's not just a spiritual place that we're going to one day be. It's an attitude that we carry with us each and every time we walk out of here. There's supposed to be a difference between you and the world. There is supposed to be something about you that somebody says there's a little bit something there. I told Josh in the parking lot the other day, when people call me weird, I say, look, the same thing that's wrong with me can be wrong with you, if you'd accept it. I worked in the mining industry for a long time. I've been an industrial mechanic most of my life. If I could recount every cuss word that I've said, you wouldn't believe it. If I could account every nasty conversation I've ever been a part of, and that I've had the privy to be in front of, you wouldn't believe it. But I can tell you one thing about being in the South, and it's not like this up North. I'll continue to preach this to the day I die, you are lucky to be where you're at. Mainly because It's only by God's grace that you were born in the Bible Belt of the South. You consider it a curse that there's a church on every corner, and I do too, but I got news for you, there's a church on every corner because there's some people in here that at least acknowledge Jesus. Maybe we all have the same intention, and we all have the same purpose, and we don't always have to be at each other's throat all the time. Now look, if y'all bring some baked chicken instead of fried chicken to something, I might have a problem with you too. But the point of the fact of the matter is here, there's supposed to be a difference. Okay? You go up north, it's every other breath. Somebody cussed. I went to my uncle's funeral. My great uncle loved him to death. He lived in South Bend, Indiana. And I walked into a cathedral where they had his casket of land where they had his funeral. And I heard the man say three cuss words before he stepped down out of what they call their pulpit in the house of God. So we have reverence when we come in here. But for some reason, when we walk outside, we lose every bit of it. The same Jesus that's with you in here is the same Jesus that was out there. We're warned about grieving the Holy Spirit, but we grieve him by continuing on in our sin when we know better. Again, this is not to say that you're not gonna sin and fall short of the glory of God, because we're going to do that, but we don't have to willingly live that way. There's a little thing called reverence. See, when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, yeah, I still heard those conversations, and I wasn't standing around those conversations. But would you believe that men had enough respect to say, the pastor's here, you might want to be quiet. It's not because there's a pastor here. they should have enough respect for you as a Christian to not speak that way and when you start living your life in accordance to what Jesus Christ told us and seeking after him with everything that's in you within your life if you would have the same desire that you have right now when you walk outside these doors people would start treating you a little bit different sometimes for the worst most of the time for the worst he's this old Bible thumper That's what they told me when I went to Packlet, South Carolina as their lead welder. I said, they had you pegged for a Bible thumper. I said, well, I hope and pray that I lived up to their expectations. I'll wear it as a badge of honor. I'll thump that Bible more times than I probably should. It's the only way that you should live. Seeking the kingdom of God. That's what we're talking about. We're called to prioritize the kingdom of God in our heart and in our lives. This entails aligning our desires, actions, and decisions with His divine will. See, there's a divine will, there's a divinity working behind you. And whether you can see it or not. I love the old expression, the adage they said, God works in mysterious, who was it mysterious to? God knew what he was doing the whole time. It was his plan. It was mysterious to us because we couldn't see the other side of it. But I promise you Jesus Christ knew exactly what he was doing because he's gone before you and he already fought that battle for you. He knew where you were going to be at. I'm not a Calvinist, don't throw something at me Kevin, but he knew the decision he was going to make most of the time too. He knew where he was going to be at. I love, listen, I love the fact that I ran from Jesus for so long. And I'm going to tell you why. Because just like Jonah and the belly of that whale, Jesus was preparing him for the congregation he had to preach to. You understand that Jesus has got your defiance already accounted for within his plan? He's already in the preparation stages for you. Sometimes if we just align our wheel with his desire, if we would just seek the kingdom of God, no matter what the situations or circumstances surrounding us look like. It rained today, and I love the fact that when it rains, we like to say, well, you know, it was a good day, except for that rain. And most of the time, to farmers like Ray, it is a problem. To a man that runs a grading company that's got a power bill due, it might be a problem. What did the weather ever have to do with it being a good day? Buddy, we as Christians ought to be able to stand up and shout every day that we woke up. It is a magnificent day because it's the day that the Lord has blessed and allotted for me. There's a will and a purpose and a plan for you every day that you ever woke up. The difference is between each day is on you. You have a decision to make every time you wake up. Either follow God or lay down and do nothing. I'm sad to report that 90% of the Christian men that I know today are not men. They have no desire to stand up for the will of God, let alone seek the kingdom of God. It's time that men stand up and start being men. I'm gonna tell you a little secret, and yeah, I'm in an independent Baptist church, but I don't blame the women that got in the pulpit. I don't. I'm gonna tell you why I don't blame them. It might hurt some feelings tonight, and I hope that your feelings get hurt. I hope that you, oh, he stepped on my, but your toes shouldn't have been in the aisle if they got stepped on. My grandfather, he had such a problem for so long with these women getting in the pulpit in Baptist churches, let alone that. And I figured out with certain congregations, there's more women than others. I'll not name that certain congregation. But I figured it out. It was because of the percentage. You know why it was happening? Because we didn't have enough men to stand up that would actually do something. We didn't have enough men that would seek the will of God. We didn't have men that would walk in and say, what can I do? Guess what? If you ain't gonna do it, somebody's gonna step up and do it, or we're just gonna lay down and we're gonna let it die. They would not have had to if we would have stood up a long time ago. I don't know when this problem started happening. I'm not very old, but I know it's been a problem my entire lifetime. I know that meetings like this are few and far between for a reason, because first of all, nobody knows what the Holy Spirit is and what it is when it moves. And number two, it's because nobody had enough fortitude to stand up and say, that was the Holy Spirit, we need to be running after it. Talk of the things of the Holy Spirit, you'll get run off most places. I promise you. I'm sad to say that one of the biggest issues with having a three week long revival is People are worried about it being three weeks long. So what if people get burned out? How do you get burned out on Jesus? Let me tell you something, I ain't saying it because I'm one of the preachers here, I'm saying it because I love to be in church. I would rather be here than anywhere else because I know that I'm liked here, unless you don't like me, and that's fine too. I know I got enough people that do that will love on me, okay? And isn't it wonderful I meet with people, even if they don't like me, they still tell me they love me. I love it, okay? I can't get away from it. At least in here. And I preach this a lot, okay? In here, this is where it's easy. This is the easiest place that I could ever preach a message from. Because if you walked in here on a Tuesday afternoon, most of the time you agree with what I'm saying. It's when we walk outside those doors that we have to seek the kingdom. This isn't seeking the kingdom of God. Seeking the kingdom of God is going to the highways and the byways and preaching that Jesus is Lord and he died for you and your sin is corruption and it will kill you. It's going into Verizon and although they're deemed for the pits of hell, telling them that God loves them. They're laughing because they know how high my phone bill is. Listen. I'm trying to tell you that, yes, this is wonderful. Josh has heard me say it before. That cell phone is a wonderful thing, as long as it's plugged into a power source. This is your power source. You know, the moment you step out of here, you out there, it's gonna work real good until the battery dies. And then you got to get back to, that's the problem with not coming to church at all. You know that, right? You know, if I watch it online, I'm too tempted to scroll past it. I can mute Jimmy Swaggart, and thank God I can most of the time. I don't have to listen to him, but if you came in here, most of you are too embarrassed to walk out if you get defended. So you don't listen to me for a minute, if only a minute. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. Living in accordance with God's standards, it involves adopting a Christ-like virtues such as love, compassion, humility, and integrity. Buddy, y'all thought I was about to say hitting somebody over the head, didn't you? No. The old saying is you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I don't like that. Jesus told us that we had to love people. He told us what sin would do. But I'm fool enough to know and live by my own experiences and understand that when you slap somebody upside the face and tell, hey, sometimes we need that. I'm not saying we don't need that. But that's not how you get to everybody either. When you carry a malice with you and tell people you love you, most of the time it don't look like love, does it? I love you enough to tell you the truth. But there's a way that we gotta go about this thing too. I love you enough to tell you that when you shout and scream down somebody's throat out here on the sidewalk, you look more like a fool than you do like a follower of Christ. And there is a dead set reason, it wasn't a lie made up by the devil, that Christians are hypocrites. Because we are hypocrites. That is the house where the hypocrites meet. But it's also, Walmart's the house where the hypocrites shop. Okay? We're all hypocrites, but there's a reason why we're there. There's a reason why people tell us, well, they're just a bunch of Bible thumpers. Well, they're just a bunch of Debbie-do-gooders who think that they've never done any wrong. It's because that's how we portrayed it. Somebody watched you walk in here and worship Jesus and then turn around and walk back out and hit the bar up on your way home. Somebody watched you do that. Somebody watched each and every aspect of your life. And listen, I know that I'm going to be held accountable. And let me tell you something, it grieves me the people that I know went to the grave that I could have witnessed to. It grieves me to know how many people opened their eyes in hell because of something I didn't do or didn't say. And I pray each and every day that they got it from somebody else because I wasn't man enough to speak to them. That tears me up inside because I wasn't seeking the kingdom of God. You know why I wasn't seeking the kingdom of God? Because I got saved. Because I had a relationship. I wasn't worried about anybody else. That's the problem with Christianity, okay? You're saved so it doesn't matter what you do. You're saved so it doesn't matter how you live. You're saved so you can just go out here and sin freely. That's not why Jesus came and died for you. Jesus came and died to provide a way of salvation that no man could offer. He told us to seek the kingdom of God, not because it was for you. Most of the time it's because it's for somebody else. You know, daddy said that you could hurt your testimony. And if I'm sitting in a bar drinking a beer as an alcoholic, talking about Jesus, my testimony's a little bit wounded. Because at some point, somewhere, somebody's looking saying, he's doing the exact same thing that I'm doing, why would I listen to him? Who does he think he is? You have to be careful not to grieve the Holy Spirit, okay? It involves Christ-like virtues such as love, compassion, humility, and integrity. That's very important to note. I don't see a lot of integrity a lot of the time when I walk outside my door, but that's another issue. To seek God's righteousness means to embody these virtues in our daily lives. We must resist the temptations of sin and seek to live lives that reflect God's holiness. Will you ever account to Him? No, sir, you will not. I don't care how many times you tried or how many times your mama told you you would. Y'all might think that's funny. My mom always called me son, so I must have been bright. It's through his righteousness that we can become beacons of his light in a world overshadowed by darkness. We're supposed to be a lighthouse. A lighthouse, when it spins, it keeps people away from the rocks. But when that light's burned out, it kind of leads people to him. That's exactly what we do when we don't embody these. Now, all these things shall be added unto you. All of these things shall be added unto you. I've been told that my sermons go really low before they go really high. And I hope that that's the case for tonight because Jesus assured us that when we prioritize the kingdom of God and his righteousness, that all these things shall be added unto you. What are these things? They are the necessities of life, our material and physical needs, which God promises to provide for us. Do you think that the little birds ever worried about being fed? They know that they're going to be fed. But you know what, Wade, and I know I repeat myself a lot, but I love to say this because it's real easy to preach about faith until that light bill is in the mail and you know that there's a disconnection date on it. It's very easy to preach about faith when you don't have five hungry mouths tugging at your coat saying, Daddy, I'm hungry. It's very easy to preach about faith when you're at a high point in your life. You know what the problem with that is, especially in Rutherford County? Most of our high points aren't very high. Most of the people in my congregation, if they're willing to admit it, don't live a life of luxury. The people that I preach to are not putting a million dollars a year into the offering plate or sowing back into the kingdom. They give what they can. And I'm not downplaying my congregation. Half of y'all came from Riverside at one point or another. What I am telling you is, is it's really easy to preach about faith from a pool pit inside a heated and air-conditioned space with lights on and think about the mama that was sitting out there listening to that sermon that might have wind and rain blowing into their house right now. They chose to come here because they're seeking Jesus. Not thinking about what they have to deal with when they get out of here. That's why it's important to note that some people aren't at that point yet. It's very easy, and listen, I don't know how we became used car salesmen as Christians. What can Jesus do for you? It's about what he already did. If he never did one more thing for me, I'm still gonna love him just as much. I'm still gonna preach. I don't care if y'all stay up here at Daniel Town. When it's time and we part ways and I go back to Riverside, if nobody's there, I'm gonna preach to the walls because he told me to do it. Okay? Somebody's there to hear it. We have to seek the kingdom of God. Not just today. Not just in a revival season. Not just when Jesus is moving. We have to seek the kingdom of God and the low points and the high points. We have to seek Him with everything in us and have a desire to live for Him. Because these things are going to be added unto us. It doesn't really matter about anything else. I don't mean to do this and I swore I wasn't going to do this as soon as Jesus said preach it, but He's telling me to do it now. Listen, I made a lot of money, okay? I'm a welder. I'll tell you that by trade. I love getting up under something, getting nasty, and I devoted my entire life to being the best welder I could ever be. God spoke unto my life about a month ago to leave my job. How hard that is when you got five young'uns sitting at home, and we're struggling to put food on the table as it is. He said you step out in faith. That's what I did. I'm not going to say I'm full-time in ministry because I don't believe it's on the church to support me. Never has been. They weren't called to raise my kids. What I am telling you is when God is telling you to do something, you better do it. You got to seek the kingdom of God first. That's exactly what I told the boy. They said, well, you know, we kind of knew it when you took the church. But I said, well, listen, I got to be a man of my obligations as well. You got to seek the kingdom of God first. Instead of seeking a position. And see that's where I think a lot of us have found a problem at. Because we don't walk into the house of God seeking God. We walk into the house of God seeking a position. We're supposed to seek where we can serve, right? To a lot of us it isn't about service. It's about what my name is. What my title is. Am I a beacon? Am I a song leader? Am I the janitorial staff? What am I? Jesus called you a child. And I got news for you, most of you act like it sometimes, too. I saw your hand go up, Pee Wee. That's right. He got a little something. Listen. It's not about. what you can do with a title that can be added unto you. Your title was already added unto you the moment that your name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life. And that's all that should matter to each and every one of us. It shouldn't matter what a title, I don't care if you're the first, second, or third deacon, if you lead the singing, or whose name is behind it. I was told a congregation up in Hendersonville not long ago when I was filling in for them, if you remember my name or my haircut, I've done something wrong. You shouldn't know who I am. because I want Jesus to be that loud to you. So I don't know who that boy is, but he loves Jesus. And that became a problem when they had to call me to ask what name to put on the check. But, that's the point. It's not about what I said. It's about the fact that you understood that Jesus loves you and you're supposed to seek the kingdom of God first. We try to seek a marriage first. We try to seek this first or that first, that sin first all the time. How many times do you sit around and say, well my testimony ain't strong enough, maybe I should add to it. That's not a very wise thing to do. There is no more stronger testimony than a life saved at a young age. Because they were spared the pity and the sorrow. They were spared everything. This nasty world that will take you out of here. Jesus is the only way. Jesus is the true infallible. He's right here in this word. He speaks to me when I open it. That's why I have to seek Him. This is not to say that we will be free from challenges or hardship. However, when our focus is on God, we will experience His providence and care in miraculous ways. Our faith in Him allows us to trust that He will meet our needs according to His riches and glory. I say again, it's not about what you can do for Him. It's about what he already did for you. Practical application. This is something I started adding to a lot of my sermons because I like to be able to apply it to your life, okay? How can we practically seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness in our daily lives? Here are some simple steps. Make prayer and worship a daily habit. Right? Spend time in communion with God seeking his guidance and strength and let worship be an expression of your love and gratitude for his goodness. I cannot stress this point enough. And again, I'm not doing this because I'm not only preaching to Riverside. You want to see a change in your pastor? Express your love and admiration for Jesus Christ through your praise for him. When he stands up to preach the word of God, shout about it. When God's moving on you and that music is playing, get excited about it. Get up and run around the church. Do what you gotta do, but do something. Saddest thing in the world, I told you all last night, is a dead preacher preaching to dead sinners the living word of God. We don't need a bunch of pew-sitters. Honestly, we don't need more numbers added to the rolls. I'd rather stand outside the gates of hell and keep them out of there than get them into a church any day of the week. Express your love for Jesus Christ with your voice, with your service for Him. Again, this is not a workspace salvation, but it could be if you like it to. Listen, Jesus isn't going to love you any more or any less. But what He will do, He's going to add unto you His riches. He's going to give them to you. Bought and paid for. Delve into God's word. Meditate on the teachings of Jesus and let them transform your mind and your heart. The Bible is a treasure trove of wisdom that will help you grow in righteousness. That's the goal of this whole thing, is righteousness. A lot of people talk about a lot of things. That song Mr. Street sang, oh so beautiful. Where you gonna find him at? You're gonna find him at the feet of Jesus. People ask me all the time, What are you most excited about when you get to heaven? Is it that baby that y'all lost? Is it your granddaddy that's already... I can't wait to see Jesus. I can't wait to thank Him for what He did for me. And on top of that, you know what's gonna be amazing? I ain't gonna have to sin no more. Does that not excite anybody else? You ain't gonna have to live for this world no more because you're standing in front of the man who did it all for you. No more pain, no more suffering, and no more sin. I don't have to ask for His forgiveness no more. Embrace the call to serve others. Be a channel of God's love and compassion to those who are in need. Acts of kindness and service reflect the character of Christ and bring glory to His name. It's not just about telling people about Jesus. Sometimes it's Simply pushing a cart back to the store for a man that can't walk, or paying for that family's groceries when God lays it on your heart. I don't care what they look like. I don't care how they smell. You were called to serve them. You were called to love them. And you were called to tell them the truth. Let your life be a testament of God's righteousness. Make choices that honor Him, even when faced with difficult decisions. Uphold honesty, humility, and justice in every aspect of your life. It might not be easy all the time. It might not be popular opinion all the time. That's most of the time. But it's the right thing to do. You can steal from your company, whatever you do in life. I don't really care. I don't know what you call your profession, but you could probably find a way to sin in it. Time to make a decision to not do that. Everybody else is eating on the clock. Let's clock out, D. I just wanted to really throw them for a loop. I said, they're going to take 30 minutes out of your check anyway. Still dishonest. They're still measurable by a scale of sin. Right? I'm going to close this thing out. All right? Let us remember the profound truth in seeking first the kingdom of God. The call to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness is an invitation to live a life. It's an invitation to live a life rooted in faith and trust in a heavenly father who'd give everything to have you. Think about that. It's a group thing. This thing called heaven is. But he did it for you personally and intentionally with your name on his mind. Old song said, when he was on the cross, I was on his mind. He did it for me. It wasn't three nails, it was me that held him up there. When we place God at the center of our lives, we will experience his divine provision and blessings in a way that is unimaginable. It's unfallible, but it'll come out. Let us commit ourselves to his divine pursuit. May our hearts be filled with a fervent desire to seek God's kingdom and his righteousness, knowing that he will take care of all of your needs. Let us walk in his light and his love, and may his peace, which surpasses all, understanding guard our hearts and our minds. Let Jesus Christ lead your life. We just talked back there in the office. They don't know this. We just talked back there in the office. Said you're ever preached two verses and it'd take three hours. That's what happened here, okay? I'm sorry I'm long-winded. They're still up. I promise the restaurants are still open. The sin's still out there. Seek God. Obey God. I don't know who needed to hear that. I often go home and pray, God, I don't know why you had me preach that, but I know that somebody may have heard it that needed it. Whatever God is telling you to do in regards to this spot right down here, you come on with it. As she plays the piano, I'm sorry, I probably could have introduced her a little bit better. I have a problem with that. My organizational skills is not very well, in case you can't tell, I've got ADHD really bad. If you'll follow God, I promise you your life will change. Every man in here, every woman in here can attest the same if you would just follow Him. If you would seek after Him. That's it. You understand that He died on the cross for you? You understand that He did it all for you? My uncle was a huge car salesman. He told me one time that the measure of an object's value It's not in what you put the price tag in. It's what somebody is willing to pay for it. You were worth Jesus' life. So whatever you think your worth is, whether you think it's down here, or whether you're mighty enough to say that it's up here, Jesus died for it. I need you to understand that today. He did it all for you. Follow him tonight. I'll see y'all on those eyes. Stay to our feet tonight. What a good work.
