And we're also available on iTunes. as the Inspiring Word podcast. On today's program, we're going to discuss something that has came into the public eye since Sunday, and that is the Clinton's remarks concerning pro-choice and faith. Well, while campaigning for her mother in New York on Sunday, April 17th, Chelsea Clinton made some very profound statements regarding her mother's run for presidency, abortion, women's rights, and even faith. Today, I'm interested in the Clintons' pro-choice position and their justification, along with their perspective on faith. And this is revealed from the speech that Chelsea Clinton gave. So let's take a look at some things, some points that come from within that speech. A quote was made from Chelsea Clinton. A woman's right to choose is at the core of our human rights and what should be equity in our country. Now this was a quote from Chelsea Clinton. So, human rights we're talking about. Wow. the rights of that unborn baby, and we'll get to that in a little more detail in just a few minutes. But there's something very interesting here. This statement implies that women are the creator of life. If that's true, then women do have the choice and the decision to make regarding which life lives and which doesn't. And that is a very broad perspective that's taken interpretation throughout the whole abortion battle. Who has the right to decide about life? And who is the creator of life? Well, according to Chelsea Clinton, and by the way, the Clintons are supported by the Supreme Court rulings that go all the way back to Roe versus Wade. in which by implication, they may not be specific, but by implication, the Supreme Court is saying, along with the argument from all of the pro-choice advocates, that women are the creator of life. Well, let's take a look at one piece of scripture from God's Word, and I'm not pulling anything out of context, I'm taking one out of many. for the Christian audience out there who knows their Bible you will be familiar with this and you will understand what I'm saying and if you're not if you're not familiar with your Bible if you don't understand what I'm saying or where I'm getting this feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to go into detail with you but in Mark's gospel chapter 10 verse 6 we read but from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female something very important that I want to bring out of that from the beginning it is an ongoing process god did not just create adam and eve and left it at that from the beginning and continuing on is the way the literary assignment of that phrase is stated and you know go all the way back into the original greek if you want to and look at all of that and it's going to tell you the very same thing god is the creator of life He always has been, and he always will be. And God made. It is God that determines male and female. It is God that determines who we are. It is God that determines what we are. It is God, and only God. So, from the Clintons' perspective, women are taking on the role of deity. In this respect, by the implications of that statement that was made, women are taking on the role of deity, and that is something that is very, very substantial in a person's thoughts and in a person's faith. If they are putting women in the role of deity as being the creator of life, then They're also putting people in the perspective of deity and many other things in many other areas, and this is nothing but idolatry in its simplest form. And I'm not just picking on the Clintons. This is their speech. These are their quotes. And all I'm doing is analyzing them from a Christian perspective and a biblical worldview. And what I'm coming up with is something that is very, very disturbing. Also, we know that earlier this month Hillary Clinton said on NBC's Meet the Press that constitutional rights for unborn children don't exist. And that all comes back to the Roe vs. Wade and all of the Supreme Court rulings since then that established constitutional rights. So they are basing first an argument on human rights by laying women in a role of deity and by creating idolatry and by giving them the privilege of creating life, and now they're coming back to a constitutional argument and saying that the child itself has no constitutional rights. Well, from the perspective of this broadcast, we're discussing the issue from something much more important than the Constitution. We are discussing God's sovereignty. And that's something that is very, very important today. God's sovereignty because in many places in society God is not recognized as sovereign anymore. Hey folks, let's just get right down to where the rubber meets the road. In many of our churches today God isn't sovereign. We meet and we sing our songs of praise and adoration and we have our praise bands and we have our hymns and we We put on this big, pious show in front of everyone that's there, but in reality, God isn't sovereign in our lives. If God were sovereign in our lives, this discussion would not be needed today. In the lives of many people, God's sovereignty is lacking, and that's something that is hurting America. It's hurting mankind. and we need revival in a very, very grand way across America today. For the church, the church needs revival. The world isn't going to participate in revival because they're lost, because they're unsaved, They have no need for revival. What they need is redemption. But redemption is not going to find its way into their life until revival finds its way into the lives of those that comprise the church. More on our broadcast. Chelsea Clinton, who works with the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, revealed in February that she left the Baptist church at a young age because the church's pro-life view on abortion. She accused the church of talking to her about abortion when she was only six years old. And not only did she accuse the church, but that's a very significant word for her to use because what it means is that she come against the church and said it was inappropriate for the church to be discussing with her at six years of age about abortion. Yet, it's appropriate for our school systems to talk to preschoolers and kindergartners about homosexuality. It's appropriate to discuss the LGBT movements across the board with them. It's important to be discussing abortion and pro-choice at this age, but it isn't appropriate for the church to be approaching the same age group with abortion. wow wow that's some pretty profound statements miss clinton very profound statements proverbs 22 6 says train up a child in the ways you go and when he is old he will not depart from it that means teach godliness at a young age if you were fortunate enough to be in a baptist church that was teaching uh pro pro-life at such an early age you were blessed you were in a you were blessed to be in that church and to be in that environment and your parents failed you by allowing you to leave at whatever age if you were a minor under their care you you were a teenager preteen whatever it was they failed you by letting you leave that church they cost you and hurt you spiritually you started out being taught correctly. Unfortunately, you have erred from that. I don't know about your faith, I don't know about your condition and your position with God as far as your eternal salvation goes, but we will approach that coming up shortly. As a matter of fact, it's actually next on my list. According to Chelsea Clinton, her mother, Hillary, is very deeply a person of faith, and that's a quote. My mother is very deeply a person of faith. It's deeply authentic and real for my mother, Chelsea says, and it guides so much of her moral compass, but also her life's work. She goes on to say, I find it quite interesting sometimes when people say to my mom, my dad, or me that they question our faith. Wow. She finds it odd that their faith is questioned. Well, let me ask a question about this and just pose it to the listening audience today. What do the Clintons have faith in? The word faith is a very broad It's used in many things. We can have faith in ourselves. We can have faith in a political party. We can have faith in money. We can have faith in careers. We can have faith in God. We can have faith in Jesus Christ. So where is the Clintons faith? That is a question that is very significant and foundational to the entire broadcast. and I can't answer it, I'm not in a spot to answer it, but I can provide some scripture. In Galatians chapter 5 verses 19-25 we read, Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulation, wrath, strife, sedations, heresies, envying, murder, drunkenness, revelings, and such like. of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in the time past, that they which do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Against such there is no law. And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. so we come down to faith again and two choices now faith in the flesh or faith in the spirit what is the faith of the clintons now when we get into some of these works of the flesh and christians let's make no mistake christians are capable of falling into works of the flesh we are capable of stumbling into these adultery fornication Those things are rampant in churches today. Pornography is one of the biggest problems that are facing churchgoers today, and it is something that I hope to have a broadcast on sometime in the near future. But inside of fornication, pornography is one of the least. So is any of the sexual immoralities that the Bible wants to discuss of, any of your LGBT movements is inside of fornication, and all of those things are taking place in there. So, as you support these things, what does that say about your faith? What does that say about who you are and what your testimony is? Your faith, where is it placed? And that's something that all of us today that's listening to this broadcast can ask a question on. What does our lifestyle, what does our choices, what does our position say about our faith? What does it say about the faith of the Clintons and the remarks that they made? In February, Clinton, Ms. Clinton. Hillary told a crowd of about 250 people that we need to do everything we can to protect Planned Parenthood, which conducts about 320,000 abortions and receives over a half a million dollars, I'm sorry, over 500 million, half a billion dollars in tax money every year. So, not only is this looked at as a human right, by the deity of a woman to create life, it is a human right that is funded by tax money and that is protected by political powers. Yet nowhere in God's word do we find anything that justifies abortion, pro-choice, any of that in any way, shape, form, or fashion. And again, these are the words that come from the Clintons specifically. Ms. Clinton goes on to say, it's important that we all care about Planned Parenthood. It's important that we all care about them, that we all take care of them, that we all do whatever for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is a wicked evil that is forced upon the taxpayers of this country. That's biblical. And I really don't know anything else to say about it other than that, except churches rise up, Christians rise up and be counted in these things. And I know you can only do so much, but your voice matters. Your voice, your pro-God's word, your pro-Bible voice matters. This is not about Democrat or Republican. It has absolutely nothing to do with political parties, but it has everything to do with personal identification of faith and the uses of words to intentionally and deliberately deceive and mislead people. If God's word does not back up your position, then your position is wrong. And it doesn't matter to me if you're a pastor, it doesn't matter to me If you're a lifetime church member in the first church of whoever, it makes no difference to that. If your position isn't supported by the Word of God, then it's a wrong position. And I think it's time that the church come back and realize where we are with all of these things in our personal lives. Well, I hope this broadcast has been a blessing of encouragement and maybe even enlightenment. Our desire is to reach as many people as possible, and to accomplish this, we desperately need your help. Not your money, just your help. By sharing our podcast with others, you will help us share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want everyone to know I'm a grassroots pastor from a small church in Western North Carolina who relates with everyday Christians. I'm not a celebrity, not a seminary professor or president, not an athlete, and I don't have television programs or books or anything of that nature that are published yet. I am simply a pastor who loves God and His work. Will you help us by telling others about The Inspiring Word?
