I've had this happen a couple
times recently where people I know and love get a direct from the
doctor saying you have to exercise. Now a lot of people wait with
exercise until their health is really suffering and then they're
like okay I think I got to do it but it's hard to start a new
habit when you're 40, when you're 60, when you're 70. So, if you
start young with exercise, it'll bless you. So, the Bible says
physical training has some value, and it really does. Your body's
a temple, and you have one body to take care of your whole time
you're on earth. That's your tent, that's your dwelling. And
so, think about how you're taking care of your body. And exercise
will lead to other good habits, like you'll sleep better, you'll
probably start eating more healthy. Exercise can be walking, it can
be hiking, it can be biking, you can do it with friends. One
of the great things about exercise is I think it's one of the most
natural things with outreach. The people I reach that don't
follow Jesus, a lot of times I'm having a good time with sports
with them. So pick a couple that you like. I think a great place
to start is maybe three times a week and you gotta schedule
it in there. And if you feel like you're just wavering and
you're tempted to not do it, then find someone to exercise
with. But you will not regret Physical exercise, it'll give
you peace of mind as well, help you sleep better, and your body
needs it. So, as you think about some habits
that you get into, put that in your schedule, guard it, and
then God will use it in incredible ways, and especially through
building relationships. Again, your body's the holy temple
of God, the Holy Spirit dwells there, exercise the temple.
