Don't be a stranger…

Give Ear and Hear This — Everyone, Everywhere, In Every Class and Walk of Life.

"Hear this, all peoples; Give ear, all inhabitants of the world, both low and high, rich and poor together…" Psalm 49

The ransom of man — for man — will forever come up short — it's lacking and will never be enough to satisfy God or transform the nature of man. Everyone, everywhere, in every class of life must be born again.

Strangers WITH God

Jeremiah struggled with how God could be a stranger among the people. He quickly recognized as he sojourned through the city and land that he too was a stranger with Him.

"O the Hope of Israel, his Savior in times of trouble, why should You be like a stranger in the land, and like a [unknown] traveler who turns aside to tarry for a night." (Jeremiah 14:8)

God, His messenger, and His message were:

Unknown…
Unwanted…
Unappreciated…

This is the confession of the harsh reality for the authentic believer... who attempts to function on his own understanding and strength, in a world he no longer fits in. The kingdom of the converted is simply outnumbered. They are a strange kingdom, functioning in a world that is densely populated with those who fit much better in this world system than they do. But sometimes these shortsighted and worldly-minded people get the best of you.
